harassing phone calls on current loan

Complaint Rating: 0 % with 0 votes
Contact information:
wells fargo mortgage

Over the life of the mortgage loan two payments were made several weeks late. Since then all payments have been made during the 15 day grace period and the loan is current . But every month we get 6 to 10 phone calls between the 1st of the month and 15th telling us we are past due. Every month the payment is made on time. I have called and complained and told the calls would be stopped. Nothing but lies. In fact i received two calls today. I have already closed all my other accounts with this bank and recommend no one every do business with them again. They are TOO BIG TO FAIL AND TO STUPID TO STAY IN BUSINESS.

What is the date the payment is due? If it is the first of the month, then of course they will call you after that to tell you that your payments are late, because THEY ARE!

There is no such thing as a Grace Period. Payment is due by the date indicated. Not within 2 weeks past the date due.

What you are saying is that most of the time you make late payments, but on 2 occasions, the payments were more than 2 weeks late.

Novel idea here - if you want them to stop calling you to let you know you are late on your payments then PAY ON TIME.

Problem solved.
