Wells Fargo delaying tactics to reject harp refi

WellsFargo said "they tried really hard to get documents from me and so the loan was canceled because it went past the rate lock in date". Funny thing was they never notified me, I emailed them to inquire the status and it said that the we did not receive all the docs -

The loan processor was worthless: John Kosse and his boss Amber Evens even more worse - they never responded to queries of the loan status or what was missing etc. etc. This is perhaps WF's intentional tactic to keep people like me locked in at higher interest rates. This is a gross injustice and I wish some one file a class action lawsuit against this unfair mass rejection based on arbitrary reasons

Wells Fargo foreclosure process

Well thank God I stumbled onto this website, I now don't feel alone. The economy sucks, and we have had tough making the house payment. So we had seeked help with the Step Forward Program (hopefully get current and go forward) well, Wells Fargo told them it was to late. They foreclosed without notice, a sheriff sale without notice. Said they posted on our home notices, we have 4 entrances to our home NO NOTICES ON ANY ONE DOOR! And like posts listed here we have made many calls trying to get one straight answer about payoff...no call the foreclosure attorney, no we can't give you that amount you will have to call your lender. Called yesterday (after being in court for eviction notice) and they said our house was with a broker-courts didn't even know this?
My thoughts are kinda jumbled as this is very upsetting, sorry. As many of you, things get better husband has an income and I get a fulltime position so we set these funds aside to get caught up. No answer what we can pay, where, etc. I went to court yesterday with cash in hand hopeing to make an offer to get current, no luck. One phone call says this, and then refer you to another number or transfer you at least 5 times and still get a different answer.
I don't deny we have an obligation, just give me a number to settle up and let me keep my home is all I want, and they don't seem to want to do that. They even misled us on how to redeem our home-we were told to send in letter to redeem, then another said no you need a letter of recesion and it will take 7 to 10 days, then we follow up ..oh no it may take up to 30 days, within 1 or 2 days we are served to be in court because they want to evict us. Still fighting, no one should be treated like this.

Dear lillian
Your response (And apparently wells fargo) does not represent anything close to appreciating my time or my business. The customer service call took no less than 1 hour of my time and resulted in closing of the credit line (I was told this was closed on 7/30/13) and reimbursing me (Supposedly) for $25, which is completely unacceptable. Please consider this as a formal complaint against the welss fargo banking practices.

This charge was made to my account when I visited my home branch to review my services with well fargo (I do this each year to make sure that everything is set up appropriately. I was shocked to learn that I had been being charged a "fee" each year for a credit line since wells fargo had taken over wachovia (Apparently the credit line was initiated in 1983!). Not only was this charge was never disclosed, but the fee present on any bank statements or my on-line account.

I did agree to pay the fee and close the credit line during my meeting with the representative. But in hindsight, I feel taken advantage of and feel strongly that the fees should have been waived. I appreciate your re-consideration of this charge.

Wells Fargo computer glitch

I read reviews of WFB double charging or unauthorized funds taken. Well WFB just hit me up. WFB made record of an on-line transaction from my account. Transaction which I did not make. I contacted WFB and ended up talking with their Fraud Dept. and stated that the thief was WFB! Rep kindly stated we need to file claim and close all your accounts. I was just another claim to her and she was going thru the motions. I managed to confirm with the on-line banking dept that there was no web login/web activity under my account login for the day the transaction request was requested/processed. So how can WFB make a transaction on my account for a web/on-line banking request when their logs show that no activity for web login on that day! WFB has computer glitches or they are being hacked and don't know it! Appears I am now forced to close out my accounts. Might as well go elsewhere for my banking needs.

Wells Fargo gave drivers license to another person

Clerk at the drive up service accidently gave my Drivers License to an unknown customer. I was asked for Drivers License and Bank Card in order to cash a couple of checks, when the transaction was complete I recieved the money, and bank card but no Drivers License. After alerting the clerk of the missing license she looked on her desk and around her work place and said she must have given it back. NOT Then I was told that I never gave it to them in the first place. So now I have to drive 26 miles to the nearest Az Moter Vehicle Division to request my licence be canceled.

Wells Fargo bogus bank fees

I have been a long time Wells Fargo customer and regularly maintain 5-6 digits in the 6 accounts with WF. About a year ago I started getting charged a monthly service charge on my checking account. I called in and the customer service person advised me that WF changed the requirements for the free checking and now I had to setup a savings account and have an automatic transfer into a savings account. Ok...it was a pain but I set it up and all was fine. Now the service charge is back. Apparently WF changed the rules again and if my daily balance falls below $1500 in my checking for any single day they zing me $8. Nevermind that my average daily balance for the month is over $20k. This is ridiculous and I am done with Wells Fargo. As soon as I have all my automatic bill pays moved I am done with Wells FUgo. I hope this message gets out to more people than i think it will and there is a mass exotus from Wells Fargo...I would like nothing more than to see this bank go down.

Wells Fargo incompetent

I have never dealt with a more dysfunctional, incompetent, lying department group until now. You have to literally call them everyday and each time you do you get a different person with a different story that flat out lye to you to pass you on to someone else. I do not wish this experience on my worst enemy, this department and who ever trains their personnel have a special place in hell waiting for them they are pure evil.

My mortgage has constantly been raised by wells Fargo year after year. I am supposed to pay 354.84 and they keep raising it to "cover costs." Its a fixed rate 30 yr. The mortgage original payment was 179.54. after escrow account amount was added it was supposed to be 354.84. They bought my loan from lending solutions and then began raising my payment constantly. And to get an answer out of them is impossible . they have jacked me around for over 7 yrs now, I shouldn't have to pay 225,000.00 for a 53,500 home.

Where to begin... Called Wells Fargo when I learned how much money I would be receiving due to the flooding from Harvey. Spoke to a representative and she told me I could mail in my paperwork OR go to to any Wells Fargo Branch to complete it. THAT WAS A LIE. Went to the branch and found out I had to snail mail the check or overnight it to Wells Fargo Property Loss Department. Was told to wait two days to see if an "exception" would be approved for me to endorse the check at the branch... THAT WAS A LIE. I went back to the branch to ask one more time, I was told that I would received $40, 000.00 of my check when it was approved. THAT WAS A LIE. I was not approved, nor would I be because the amount of the check. I've sent in document after document to try and get some of my funds released. I've been put on hold for 40 minutes at a time, told to call back over and over. Who has time to be calling these people when we work to pay our mortgage! Every time I call, it's a different excuse or LIE as to why my funds have not been released. I really believe that Wells Fargo is holding my funds in order for me to run out of money completely so I can't afford my mortgage and then they will take my home, insurance funds, and resale my home for a profit. I've paid close to $20, 000 put of pocket for my repairs and the Wells Fargo doesn't give a [censor]. They are the worst bank in HISTORY. They have been on the news for opening fake bank accounts (twice), and the other time for making homeowners carry EXTRA flood insurance at their interest. All I want is MY money so that I can go back home! These people are something else... I will never have another mortgage in my life. Ever. I am debt free except the house, and now I want to be rid of that debt too.

I have been dealing with them, disfunctional, unprofessional.
I expect it was set up this way to frustrate the homeowner. Literally have to call every day, and speak to a different person, which will give a different story from the previous person. Cannot communicate through email, because they do not want any written proof of what they lied to you about the previous communication.
I will change my mortgage company, just because of these incompetent people.

Wells Fargo age discrimination

I have been banking with wellsfargo since 1957. I finally got up to speed on on-line banking and banking over the phone . One I started this service, they said I did not sound like a 77 year old woman. The fraud department put an alert on my wellsfargo credit banking card. Then sent me a letter asking me to call and confirm who I am or they were going to turn off my card. Then then next thing I went to my on line banking and the fraud department shut off my of line banking service. I called and asked what happened . They said the fraud department shut off my access. I needed to call then, I called them and they won't speak to me over the phone. I do not drive anymore. I no longer have access to my money. I said I never called for a fraud, the wellsfargo customer service said it was out of their hands. Now I have no money, my bill pay was turned off by wellsfargo. I am wondering what to do. They are way out of line, terrible customer service and discrimination against the elderly.

Wells Fargo collateral lien notification

After paying off my auto loan with wells fargo dealer services, I called customer service to request written confirmation that the collateral lein they put on my car as a condition of the loan is removed. They said they do not provide written proof that it is removed. "what?", I said. Asked for a supervisor, and was told the same thing. The supervisor said they report to the credit reporting agencies that the loan is paid in full and the lein is removed, but they do not write a statment to the customer to that effect. The supervisor said the credit reporting agencies have up to 90 days to update their records and said I could request that verification from them... The credit reporting agencies. I said, "what?" let me see, you, the lender, get payments for a car loan for 5 years, plus 7.9% interest, plus have my car as collateral, and report all this to the credit reporting agencies but when the loan is paid off the customer get's no confirmation the lein is removed.

This is just one more example of corporate greed and entitlement. Wells fargo dealer services recieved 3 times the annual growth rate on my little car loan, had a lein on the car for additional insurance, and now that I paid it off... I get nothing.
Wow — why do we keep giving these greedy, entitlement-oriented financial services business our money? I'm only going to bank with a local credit union from now on... Becu treats people with some humanity.

Wells Fargo froze my account

My boyfriend had a bank account with Wells Fargo for almost a year now. Last month he was charged a maintenance fee of $7.95 and didn't notice it. This was the first time his account was charged with any maintenance fee. His income tax refund was set to deposit in his account and because he didn't pay the maintenance fee Wells Fargo closed his account. We went in and talked with a banker and she advised us to open a joint checking account. She said that the money will be rerouted into our new account in 2 business days. 2 business days later, funds were not deposited. We called the 1800 number and they said our account faled a risk assessment test and loss prevention put a hold on it. The banker then told me that I need to open a single account to avoid this type of problem, like my boyfriend is a criminal or something. We then called the banker who opened our account and was conveniently on PTO (PAID TIME OFF)! We then just went to the branch and visited with another banker. He told us that the there was a hard hold on our account and the money is being sent back to IRS. We were fuming by then, we wrote a $500 check on the account for our rent. He also said that we need to call IRS to get a paper check mailed to us. I was very pissed by this time and just walked out of the bank. The next day, out of curiosity I checked the bank account and his tax refund was deposited in the account! Whew weren't we happy. We went to the ATM to withdrawal it and wouldn't you know, we couldn't access our account. We again called the 1 800 TO WELLS number and a found out that the account is still frozen and we need to go into a branch to talk with a banker. We are beyond fuming because they won't give us our money, it's not like we stole it, he worked hard for his money. SO MY ADVICE WOULD BE NOT TO OPEN ANY TYPE OF ACCOUNT WITH WELLS FARGO UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY TONS OF FEES AND ONE DAY WAKE UP WITH YOUR ACCOUNT FROZE! After I get this issue resolved, we are closing our account and I will forever advise people not to bank with WELLS FARGO!

Wells Fargo mortgage & other fees

We had a mortgage with another bank when wells fargo bought it out years ago, so for about 18years it has been with wells fargo.
About a year ago, all of a sudden, on our statement a new "box" showed up stating "other fees". We are being charged another $5.00 a month. We have contacted them several times but they have no answers for what that fee is for.
We have not refinanced or anything or gotten a line of credit. Nothing!
I have refused to pay it, so now it is up to $195.00
On top of that, even though our mortgage was/is a 30 yr. Fixed, our interest has not gone down as it was supposed to.
I hate this bank! If I was in any position to I would find another mortgage co.

Wells Fargo cash on demand account - late payment fees and over the limit fees

I accepted a $5000 Cash On Demand Account from Wells Fargo. The APR originally offered to me was not the same as the actual contract of 20.99%. However, at that time I was in a pinch and needed the funds. I took two advances at a total balance of $4600. The remainder of the time I just made payments. Sometimes I would pay one to four times a month. Wells Fargo Financial did not reflect those payments for two billing cycles later, and assessed me late fees. I called several times when I got my statements because my payments were not reported on their statement and yet a $39 late fee was reported. I started getting phone calls one right after another in the same day, hour, from Wells, informing me that I had not made a payment at all. I even got calls at work, and letters. I was very frustrated after weeks and months of this. Then ten months after I opened the account, Wells Fargo after hundreds of phone conversations about their reporting process, lowered my credit line to $0.45 under the existing balance, and began charging me over-the-limit fees along with late fees. So I had $76 in interest each month and $74 in fines, at total of $150 per month on a $4, 600 loan.

Wells Fargo johan manager and teller tanneshia

I have been a Wells Fargo customer for some time now and yesterday I experienced some of the most unprofessionalism I have ever experienced at a Wells Fargo.

The unprofessional-ism over at the Wells Fargo on 5699 Oakland Park BLVD was unbelievably bad, from the Teller I had name Tanneshia or Tannesha Wiggins to the Manager of the Bank name Johan

Check this out, I go in to withdraw money, give my information, temporary drivers license(cause I am waiting for my new one to get delivered to me), and my expired Temporary WF ATM card and before this Tanneshia or Tannesha even checks my account, she says " We dont accept this as ID ". Now this understand I dont run into this problem with other Wells Fargo, but her demeanor and attitude alone rubbed me the wrong way, but to dismiss me in the manner she did was unacceptable. I explained to her that the reason why my ATM card was expired was because I was waiting for Wells Fargo to send me the new one(there was a mix up with sending me the card and my temporary one expired in the process), but my temporary driver's license was more than good enough at all other Wells Fargo banks so what was the problem.

She rudely told me they dont accept my temp license as ID(which is not true but she this particular teller doesn't seem to know what she is doing) and handed it back to me. I asked to speak to a manager and she babble and tried to duck around it insinuating that the Manager wasn't available. I asked her, "ARE YOU TELLING ME THERE IS NO MANAGER HERE IN THIS BANK FOR ME TO SPEAK TO?" She initially said "YES SIR". When I pressed the situation she took my temp drivers license and walked around to some office with a clear window(This is where the Manager Johan comes into play). The Manager Johan was on the phone, but she was talking to him and another guy in the office, I couldn't hear them but she was showing them my license and I could see them chuckling about it.

This Johan character then went back to his desk, didn't have the courtesy to either walk up to me to explain the situation or point to me to have me come into the office to explain the situation at all. At the time I had no idea what was going on. Then this Tanneshia or Tannesha Wiggins teller leaves the office, goes into some other room and doesn't come back to address me or let me know whats going on for a 8-10 minutes. How Rude! What the heck is wrong with this people? They have my money, I am looking to withdraw it, and they act as if they are doing me a favor.

Finally the teller comes back to tell me that she just finished speaking to a female manager(she referred the manager as as a she so that is why I know she was female) in the back room and she said "no we can't help you". I asked to speak to this female manager and was told " she is out to lunch ". I said " how did you just speak to her if she is out to lunch? " She said "The Manager is in the back room having lunch and doesn't want to be disturbed"

CAN YOU BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE? I asked to speak to the Johan Manager and was left sitting there another 10-15 min. while he pretended I wasn't there and was joking around with someone on the phone(my girlfriend and I could see him laughing it up with someone on the phone) all the while some other guy who works at the bank kept telling me..."Johan is just finishing up with someone and will get to you soon". This guy must have come to tell me that about 3 times.

They are located at this address:
INVERRARY FALLS
5699 West OAKLAND PARK BLVD
LAUDERHILL, FL, 33313
Phone: [protected]

I left that location and went to another Wells Fargo where they clearly know what the heck they are doing. Told them about what happened to me at the Wells Fargo on 5699 W OAKLAND PARK BLVD and they were in shock. The whole experienced resulted in my gf and I being late for a function, and basically wasting gas since the function was close to the Wells Fargo on 5699 W OAKLAND PARK BLVD so I had to go to another one which was about 3-5 miles away and then drive the 3-5 miles back over.

These people at the INVERRARY FALLS Wells Fargo location were pathetic, unprofessional, and need to be retrained. I saw a whole bunch of other things there from some of the other tellers that I wasn't impressed with, but that would take up another 10 paragraphs. If you want to do your banking, and you are a Wells Fargo customer, DO NOT DO IT at the Inverrary Falls location on
5699 West OAKLAND PARK BLVD, LAUDERHILL, FL, 33313. They are ridiculous, pathetic, basically amateurs.

Wells Fargo won't refinance

I have been a Wells Fargo, for lack of a better word, "customer", since 1994. I have never missed a single payment. This is the 2nd time I've tried to lower my mortgage rate and they keep coming up with the biggest ### excuses to delay and deny my requests. This time, they want to know about a location where I lived 26 years ago. A location where I lived before I got my mortgage with them. Why is it a concern this time? This time, they want me to prove who I am by submitting: my driver's License or Paasport. Why wasn't that a concern in 1994? Although, I must have submitted it to them in 1994. My wife and I got the original mortgage when our combine income was around $50, 000. Now, it's around $150, 000 but, we're somehow a risk!

Wells Fargo apprasial refund

Submitted re-finance paperwork and during process was denied loan. However Wells Fargo had taken our Credit Card number for appraisal that was to be done “after loan acceptance/approval”. Wells Fargo on the next day extracted the $464.00 from our account and continued with processing the loan which as I stated was denied. The appraisal company never made any sort of contact nor performed any service. When denial was received we contacted the local mortgage representative we were using and his management and were promised the refund which as was told to us was to be “removed” from our representatives payroll due to mishandling of this transaction. At 40 plus days since refund was to be approved we have yet to receive refund. Local management (Trevor) is ineffective and has proven they do not care as long as they get their share of others money. Wells Fargo is quick to take away but reluctant to return monies owed to small families.

Wells Fargo loan re-fi

Stay away from Daniel Fish at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Santa Cruz. He processed my loan refinancing documents, didn't show up to Closing, I resolved all my questions with the Title Officer, I signed all the documents at the Title Company, then got a call from Dan's boss the next Monday that the documents were wrong and the loan couldn't be done. Lots of lame excuses. I was very concerned because I wanted to lock in my low interest rate. They promised me they would fix it. That was 2 months ago and I'm still getting the runaround from them. Daniel Fish has also lost key phone numbers I provided and had to re-ask me the most basic of questions, and now caused me late charges on my property taxes which I paid through my closing costs that did not go through. He has played with my money and my home like it's a Monopoly game, instead of my only home and my hard-earned cash. Save yourself time and money and do not go to Wells Fargo for your loan refi.

Try taking Fish & Wells Fargo to small claims court sounds like the have broke some laws maybe? File some legal complaints give them a headache right back, read online to see if they broke any lending laws or rules.

Wells Fargo late charge

I called AND wrote Wells Fargo a letter about my son last month because he is serving in Afghanistan US Air Force. and not by a computer very often. Two weeks after my son closed on his home he was deployed to Afghanistan. At the closing he gave them a blank check to begin automatically deducting the mortgage from his checking account because he knew he would be gone for 6 months. He discovered it was not done after the due date of course. A check was written and sent in with an explanation and a request to not charge a late fee. Well a late fee was charged... yes only $32.23 but it just made me mad. The Air Force does not pay all that much.
I just want to say they should be ashamed of themselves for not waving the late fee to someone serving their country, especially since it was their fault the payment was late. Someone did not do their job and use the check to start the appropriate deduction…. Just needed to vent!

Wells Fargo student loans

I agree 100%. They are unreasonable and unfair. They refused to send me a statement that actually showed that I owed them money (as I had never received one because they ignored my address change) and continued charging late fees (denying it was their fault).

One woman (who appears in charge of harassing me) asked me how much I could pay and I said about $200--she said, you have to pay $800. She refused to negotiate and literally said, "Aren't there people you can call for money?" No, there isn't! It's just me and I cannot afford this... I find it highly inappropriate that they suggest you call and harass and beg people for money--does she want me to go prostitute myself to pay them an unaffordable and absurd monthly fee?!

I am 100% up to date on all of my other student loans because they are REASONABLE and they will work with you to make sure you can afford payments. Is there anyway to get my loan taken away from Wells Fargo and given to CitiBank? Citibank is much more willing to work with you and always friendly on the phone--never threatening or harassing.

I can't believe Wells Fargo is still allowed to operate--especially student loans!

I'm currently on medical bed rest, in and out of the hospital, due to threats of preterm labor and recent cervical surgery. I am unable to work and have the medical paperwork to prove it. Wells Fargo is refusing to give me a deferment because I have had one in the past. I was told that there is no temporary disabilities program to offer their customers, which is beyond shocking to me. I've offered to pay whatever I can each month to keep them from selling my loan to a third party that according to them will start immediate legal action against me to garnish my cosigners wages as well as my future wages, but they are unwilling to accept anything but the full monthly payment. This payment is $600 a month and I have no idea where I can come up with this money. At this point my pregnancy (baby) is the most important thing on my mind. My husband and I are struggling to keep up with our regular bills with just his income. I'm not sure what to do. Please help! Advice? spread the word to encourage them to start a temporary disabilities program?

I co-signed a student loan for my daughter and paid if off in 2006. Or, so I thought. On June 25, 2013, Wells Fargo contacted me and said that I owed them $252.02 in late fees and interest on the unpaid amount from 2006! I was shocked and said but I paid that OFF in its entirety. The said I did not however I had made payments up to April 2013 with my $11, 843 payment made in 2006. I could not believe what they were telling me. According to Wells Fargo, there was a small unpaid balance after they quoted me a PAY OFF in June 2006 that was NOW DUE with interest. I was livid but agreed to pay $100 that day and three consecutive payments of $50 each in July, August and September on the 24th of each month and it would in no uncertain terms finally be paid in full. I agreed to this and my final $50 payment will be automatically withdrawn in 3 days. I called them today and they said I STILL OWE $148. We have come full circle from 7 years ago. I have demanded a full detailed report on this account going back to 2006. Apparently Nate and Jim lied to me about what I still owed when I spoke with them on June 25th and July 27th 2013. Apparently no one has correct information when they call demanding payment. This is a bunch of BS and is probably why I lost my house to Wells Fargo in 2009. I am sick of this company and anyone thinking of taking out student loans should go elsewhere. They will never leave you alone even when you have paid your debt. It will come back to bite you years later when you least expect it. They are unable to give a straight answer when you ask for your TOTAL PAYOFF. I am going to ask for a transcript of my 'RECORDED' phone call with Jim on July 25th when he told me 3 payments of $50 each would TOTALLY pay this off. What a joke on me.

Wells Fargo refinance

We have home mortgage with Wells Fargo. We sought refinance and contacted Wells Fargo. We thought that we would we get a good rate; however, the rate was high. Wells Fargo then treated the loan as a new loan, instead of modification, causing closing costs to increase unnecessarily. Wells Fargo had survey and lost it, and then demanded that we pay for new one. They refused to accept any responsibility for the situation.
