Planet fitness spells their slogan "judgement free zone" with the word "judgment" spelled incorrectly. I have called the corporate office and marketing division several times to no avail. I will never again pay for a membership at this gym as I am embarrassed just to walk through the door.

The common American spelling of "judgment" is without an "e" in the middle. Webster prefers this spelling as well. The Supreme Court, and the Courts of the fifty states issue "Judgments" and not "Judgements." I've always rolled my eyes when walking into Planet Fitness. It is a blatant error on their part. Even though the word "judgement" is acceptable and preferable by some foreign English speakers, in America, "judgment" is preferred not only by the majority of its speakers, but evidently law enforcement as well.

That, skamkiller, is "where" judgement is incorrect.

Judgement is correct. Is judgment the American spelling?

I suppose you wrote to the headquarters of Toys R Us complaining about the backward R.
Where does it say that "judgement" is incorrect?
