I went to a McDonalds tonight... I am soo upset. I ordered a double big mac combo, supersized it and got a mcchiken sandwich. I then said I wanted Diet coke. The guy says why are you ordering diet coke, that makes no sense... I was silent and felt so embarrassed... he waited my answer. So I said I like the taste better. Then he said well that makes no sense. I had to wait for him to give me a lecture on how bad diet coke is and that I should be ordering water. The whole time im holding my money ready to pay. Finally I say, can I just pay for my meal and he told me the total. I don't need a lecture from Mcdonalds employees implying that I am overweight and shouldn't be drinking pop. How dare he tell me I should order water instead. What can I do to get some justice? This isn't my first complaint with McDonalds because of service. Just a few days ago I paid with a $20 bill and she got upset saying that she didnt have the change for a $20... Shes like dont you have a $10... I can't take $20 bills. I responded by being upset and saying is this not a food chain, how can I not pay with a $20 bill... I get upset when my order is wrong, but I can see that happens... But honestly these things I will not keep dealing with. Oh and ask for the manager and she says I am the manager, what do you want me to do? The same "manager told me she was so upset that wendys was closed because then she has too much business and just wants to go home. Telling me I shouldn't go there because she has to work harder. Why am I expected to deal with this when I order a burger and fries?

I work in Customer service and I am always polite to others in the service too. I noramlly start out with "Morning/Afternoon, could I please get a..." and always finnish off with a "Thank you" even if I am having a bad day I do my best not to push my bad mood onto others.
I think Manners in this world have gone down the toilet. Other than the employee asking "Why would you want a diet coke" which really isn't that person's business and whatever happened to "the customer's always right?" it seems to have gone the way of the Dodo bird.
Heck even "Excuse me" is being ignored. I mean if there are people standing in a doorway or in the middle of the walking portion of the isle in a store you would think an "Excuse me" would be enough to get them to move or at least shift to one side.
I have had to say "Excuse me" in louder and louder tones until somone yells "What!" So I look at them like they are idiots and explain that I would like to get into the building or down the isle without hitting them.
Come on People it's no rocket sience! Manners!

Our McDonalds is undergoing renovations however the drive through is open which is great cuz I can slip in for a Coffee and Muffin before work. The muffins must have been made 2 weeks before because it was the most stale thing I have ever had in my life. A few days later I was hungry and I though, "oh lets give them another chance" so I ordered a McChicken meal... well the burger was dry and luke warm and the fries were cold. I don't plan on going back if their quality is going to be like that. I may as well have put the money straight into the garbage can.

@Hogwarts Student Zachary: That's not relevant -- yes, it's tough; yes there are bad customers, but it does NOT excuse treating any & all customers badly. It's a JOB they CHOOSE -- part of their job is to act professionally at all times. I've been in fast food. I had bad customers; I dealt with them, took their payments, & went on to serve thousands of other customers, unaffected. My job's to give you your crappy dietary choices, not to care about them!

Honestly, if you guys worked at McDonalds or any fast food restaurant you would understand what there going through. My daughter works there and she's always harassed, rude comments and had food thrown at her. Every person that works is either trying to make a living or just working for some extra cash. Everyone can agree on that. I don't understand why people agree on prices or why this sandwich isn't here or why there is no more stock? Honestly you can't complain to the workers - they just work there, they don't make up the prices. Many times I've seen people complain why is drive thru taking so long or why is it so busy? Its common sense, why is it so busy? They can't answer that - its you the customers that make it busy! Just be patient and understand there trying there best. They don't have magic ovens or grills to make everything super fast. Yes its fast food but things can get technical at times. If you see drive thru busy - don't go through it especially if your going to just complain. TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANTED TO BE TREATED. If you keep complaining about the place, either work there so you can put yourselves in there shoes OR don't go there at all. Its quiet simple. The more and more you complain - why not just close all McDonald down? That's not what you want, correct? So stop complaining. Give them a break. If you complained about your jobs because so and so did so and so and so and so happened that's exactly what McDonald workers experience too. Sometimes I see the customers that go to McDonalds, they treat the employee like there robots that they absolutely have to have things done perfectly. No they are not robots, people make mistakes.

reading some of the stories i can understand why this happens. Coprerations like mcdonalds hire only children unless ur applying for management position. In my exp: and I'm sure many can agree kids don't care how they handle food they don't care how clean a resuraunt needs to be and they don't care about hair nets or washing thier hands. The only way to prevent such neglect by these kids is to have someone follow them to the washroom and stand over top of them 24/7 . I think we should all boycot any resturaunt that hires children to work in the food industry force them to make changes. I know kids need jobs but go else where pluw a feild deliver parcels anything other then food.

mcdonalds on 152nd in white rock near the beach in BC Canada.. wow do i have stories to tell everyone! first off a girl going by the name of komal who rencently got hired as the manager? JOKE.. are u kidding me? mcdonalds logo is "put a smile on" .. the girl gives all her costomers attitude and dirty looks 24/7 ignorant young lady. The other manager named crystal? RACIST. Im am a caucasian who comes to that mcdonalds alot for breakfast, she is very nice up until a another nationality person walks thru the door, attitude, ignorance, just very impolite, I also heard from another mcdonalds customer that she had got a warning from a police officer about her behavior towards colored people.. and told the customer to apparently "suck her dick" unprofessional? very. I guess anyone can be a manager at mcdonalds these days, even if u cant reach a professional level.

We were on holidays in March 2011 and stopped at McDonald's 1803 IDYLWYLD DRIVE, NORTH SASKATOON, SK. We took the order to go and my daughter ordered a Southwest Chicken sandwich... as we drove off, she opened it up to find that the bun was moldy! We had to turn back and I went in and complained... I waited... and finally they handed me another one. Before leaving, I figured I better check it first... guess what... another moldy bun! I told them to throw that pack of buns out and open a fresh one. I waited... and waited... and finally got one that wasn't moldy. It woulda been nice if they offered to give me my money back or even if they would have said Sorry woulda been nice!

I live in the Okanagan valley and the only McDonald's i have been to in the last 10 years that has not ###ed up my order in one way or another is the little one in Walmart and I am assuming that is because I am watching them put my order together and correct them on the spot. I remember when they used to have timers at the drive threw's and if it took them longer than a few minutes your meal was free. Well after i got about 10 free ###ed up orders they took out the timers lol. Now if they don't get the order completely wrong I am completely amazed. Even if they get the order correct they do not put in condiments or napkins. Like come on i just came from there because my kids wanted happy meals and i thought i would order a couple McRibs while there. You would think that if you are putting food in a bag that is smothered in sauce and there is absolutely no way to eat it without dripping sauce everywhere that napkins would be as important as straws are for drinks. Oh wait they didn't give me any ###ing straws either. One of most funniest things about McDonalds is when you if you do call the place to complain it doesn't matter who you get on the phone that person is a manager. LoL every idiot in the place is some sort of manager. then you complain and they promise to send you some coupons that never do come. Oh well you would think i would learn by now, if I did not have kids McDonald's would never get another dime from me but they sorta got me over a barrel I guess.
### you McDonald's and the ###s that work there.

Does ANYONE have reading comprehension? The orginal poster ordered a diet pop not to try to be weight-conscious but because they LIKE THE TASTE BETTER!

You should've come to A&W when I workerd there -- I woulda sold you a Monster Burger (7 patties each bigger than Where'sthe-beef-McDicks, 7 pieces of bacon, 7 pieces of cheese(REAL cheese!), fresh lettuce+tomato+onions+pickles+condiments and a full LITRE of any pop you wanted!

What do I care? I was getting $5.25/hour(72-hour work week, no overtime, my choice) to make YOU happy you showed up there to eat! & not to leave having any regrets!

Some people ARE satisfied Mcdonalds "customers"; see the photo

If people made a point of NOT supporting McIncompetency, they'd change or die!

I'd've quit going years ago, but my family won't let me! :P

A&W is my first choice of fast food burger+fries, Wendy's is 2nd; McBarfy's doesn't even make the bottom of the list!

Hey there, as a Mcdonalds employee I will first say that I am sorry for anyone being treated badly customer or employee. To the person who was given grief over the diet coke, no one should be telling you what not to order you are the customer, and any business is only a successful business if it understands that.
To everyone who is upset over the kids working for McDonalds, they are just that kids, they are not given proper training nor are they treated with the respect any worker since the 30's .
To the person who feels normal decent family men don't work for McDonalds, I happen to be one, I worked for this company in my early twentys and it was a great job, the money was not good enough so i found something else and left, last year I was at a point i needed a midnight job and Mcdonalds was hiring so here I am, however it sadly has gone downhill. I can honestly say in 30 years of working this is the worst company Ive ever worked for in my life.
I realize it isn't so much McDonalds as it is the store owners, however i do believe if McDonalds wants to stay in business they'd best start to pay attention to what their store owners are doing. Employees have to stand up and stick together and tell head office over and over, its easy to wipe one or two people under a rug but not a handful from the same store.
The same goes for customers, if you are not happy get the managers name, call the restaurant and speak to the store manager, then go straight to head office if you are not treated properly.
I laugh when i see that mcdonalds is one of the top 10 employers in ontario its a joke.
Young kids are made to work at my restaurant with no breaks, they are also treated like high school in crowds whereby if you are liked you can get away with anything and if you are not you get fired or you get treated so badly you end up quiting.
The good people they hire are the ones who are disrespected the worst. Ive seen many yuck things that make my stomach turn since ive been back at mcdonalds, like forcing employees to work in knee deep feces and serve food through the drive through when we had a sewer leak, or mops that are used with dirty filthy greasy water thats been sitting for over 12 hrs, or tables not being cleaned, washrooms that are less than sanitary at any given time unless it is 530 am
food that is recooked reheated and should of been thrown out hours ago, standards have gone way downhill or the people who work at head office no longer care about customers
I have seen a lot in my time here and I do not eat at Mcdonalds anymore, I wonder what they would say if everyone stopped going to this fast food chain, would they change their standards? or blame the customers

just saying

Comment: My name is Professor Chandrakanth, teaching Agricultural Economics as Professor and Chair, at the Univ of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, India. I am submitting a proposal regarding nutrimillets from India for a Canadian research funding. As you are aware millets such as fox tail millet, little millet, kodo millet, proso milet are the most drought tolerant and organically grown by small farmers of India, and they do not apply agrochemicals. They are highly nutritious and antidiabetic due to low glycemic index. These millets can substantially influence North American life style including USA and Canada, which have increasing population suffering from obesity and diabetes. Accordingly the Director of the ISEC, a premier institute conducting research in consumer behaviour suggested me this morning, why not a consumer food chain like McDonald think of preparing McDonald Millet Burger and other products including millets and term them as HEALTH FOODS. This will not only improve the health of the people all over the world, but also provide opportunities for small and marginal farmers who are totally rainfed farmers to contribute their millets to the health of the world, a win - win situation. Kindly indicate your opinion. I am requesting Prof Mahadev Bhat of FIU, Miami to get in touch with you and have given his phone number.

I had the most frustrating embarrassing moment ever at MacDonalds today. I tried to place an order for my 10 year old. It was simple chicken nugget kids meal with root beer and sweet and sour sauce. 4 times I tried to place this order and was cut off half way through by some employee trying to take my order again. On the 4th attempt I told them there were too many chiefs in the kitchen and too many people trying to take orders. The girl got very rude with me and went on for 2 min about it being a mistake and that I didn't know what a mistake was. I then got very impatient and peeved off and called her a [censor]. She then refused to take my order (a very simple order). While I waited anotehr minute and listened to them take orders from the other speaker some guy behind me in a truck started calling me names and yelling at me and I told her to go f**k himself in turn he took a baseball bat and got out of his truck to come at me. I then took off and never did get my order! Talk about living the dangerous life at a family fast food restaurant called Macdonalds

Amazing. Obviously, as these restaurants are franchised, there is no quality control in the hiring of employees. Any idiot with the right amount of money can start one. Don't need any business sense, it's supposed to be all done for you. If the owner doesn't want to care, he doesn't have to. Just like any other business out there.
I'm glad some managers respond here, it makes it so much more balanced, less biased. I agree, not all employees are as rude, dishonest or stupid, restaurants as dirty and managers as negligent, everywhere. Neither are customers as pleasant, courteous or patient as everyone else.
I wish people knew how to spell properly. Maybe that's an indication of the kind of customer we're dealing with. Same for employees.
What people order at the restaurant is not any employee's business. Obviously, these employees have a problem with their own self perceptions. Any one of them making a comment about my order would definitely get my mind's opinion about their own shortcomings: How come you get a job at McD's?
I have sympathy for any one who works there. It's abusive and none too pleasant an environment. Often managers abuse labour laws at the expense of their employees (I've had a nephew work there, I have a lot of nightmare stories from him). Who could expect them to not get frustrated? I also have horror stories about other restaurants where the employees are left to themselves while the manager is out: it's a free for all of anything you can think of, whenever you let irresponsible kids unsupervised (they're not all irresponsible, but it only takes one). But then again, where the supervisor? Also important, how old is the supervisor?
Anyways, I've recently had my nightmare, but this was about the food, not the service. Again, for service, I tolerate a lot from these restaurants, seeing as how low these people get paid. I've never had this kind of service, so my beef (no pun intended) is with the management of the restaurant regarding food quality. I don't expect healthy, I expect at least edibility. That was not present.
In closing, any sort of food in moderation will not harm you. Abuse is what the real problem is: "Supersize Me". That movie should be taken with a proper amount of skepticism. I used to enjoy the fish. Now the portion is so small, why bother?
Also some wild claims have been made about the susceptibility of their foods to all kinds of diseases. Check your facts.

That is absolutely appalling that a McDonald's employee would say and do that! We went to a McDonald's on Friday, after taking our son for bloodwork, as a treat for doing the good job that he did. It took for a HandyDart bus operator to tell us it was "Take Out Only", after we began loading our son out of our vehicle (he uses a mobility device) from a non disabled person's parking stall (because there was a dumpster blocking the disabled person's parking stalls). There were NO SIGNS in the parking lot, letting customers know it is take out only! My husband went into the restaurant, there was no manager available to speak with him about the lack of signage, that would have been a courtesy to it's customers. Luckily for us there was on vacant table outside, to sit at. My son n' I sat at the table and waited for my husband to go get the food. There were 3 tables to sit at outside, one occupied by staff, how RUDE! Tables were layered very thick with dust n' dirt, obviously a non priority when it came to wiping them down, to staff! There must have been about 30 customers through the parking lot, after we arrived, who went in, to find out it was take out only, who all came out without food and left, many with small children!

We were just at McDonalds with my daughter and i ordered a Big Mac Combo, just for my daughter . I gave the 20 dollar bill to the cashier, and i didnt notice that the cahier didnt give me the correct amount of change. Instead of $12.67 change she gave me, $2.67 . My daughter found out that it wasnt the correct amount of change. And she only mentioned it to me when she was done her meal . But, when i went to complain about the change they said they counted the money but they said she gave me the right change . That makes me wonder what happened to the $10 that she is supposed to give to me . I would not lie for just $10 and i was telling the truth . I was kind of dissapointed the way the McDonalds on Rimrock dealed with my situation.

On my way home from work tonight I stopped off at McDonalds to grab something quick to eat. My order was simple, one grilled cheese kids meal with a coke, a mc chicken and a large coke (as the $1 for every size deal is currently available). The employee who took my order was friendly and patient. He took my order, confirmed it with me and took my money at the first window. However, the second employee (Oh, he was a real treat) was extremely rude and obnoxious. He first handed me my kids meal coke and then went to hand me a regular sized coke which was not what I ordered and had confirmed. When i told him this he proceded to argue with me that I did not order a large and that I was mistaken(so much for the cutomers always right). I then told him about how I had ordered a large and had it confirmed which threw him into a tizzy( Even though THEY ARE THE SAME PRICE). He took the regular size pop and chucked it out the window at my front car tires saying that "the other guy obviously got it wrong then". This obviously upset me because under no circumstance ( I dont care how little you are paid or how badly you are stressed you DO NOT vandalize someones vehicle) should he have thrown it out the window when a garbage was RIGHT BESIDE HIM! Then he grabbed the new pop thrust it into my hand while leaning his whole body out the window and nearly into my car (yes, this sounds overdramatic but yet very true) and said there you go GOODBYE and slammed the window. At this point I did not have my food so I tried tapping on the window while he was looking right at me then when he turned around i honked my horn. Finally he came back to the window and I asked if I could see his supervisor and he replied " you could if I knew where the **** he was". In the end I got my food, parked my car and went to walk inside while the same employee yelled out to me " if you want to complain I found my supervisor come on in" all while he had a new customer at his window. Furthermore, when I talked to the supervisor all he could say was sorry and looked very embaressed (i felt bad for HIM) I serve him at my work (Starbucks) quite often. . At this point I realise I am rambling on but I have never been treated so poorly by any other employees at any other food location EVER.

Clearly, Mc Donalds needs to take more care in their recruitment. Maybe people wouldn't have such a negative image of them and the" druggies, elderly and desperate" the hire if they actually gave a s*** who represented their name!

I AM NOT saying every mc donalds employee is bad because the are not but the male employee working at the Collingwood, ON location on August 4, 2010 certainly is and is in DESPERATE need of a reality check!

Stumbled across this complaint forum. Im a current employee of a McDonalds in Canada and we go out of our way to ensure the best service possible and follow proper procedures. If your order is inaccurate it is likely because it was confused for another customers order.
We run our $#$#$ off and at times are under staffed. We are more then just the people serving you...we are customers too and dont think for one minute that we dont have equally frustrating experiences on both sides of the counter. I regularily serve some very pleasant people but on occassion find myself dealing with someone who obviously has a chip on their shoulder. Dont let one rotten egg spoil the whole carton... by coming in with a negative attitude based on past experience.
Furthermore if you find yourself having issues with a specific location, dont hesitate to call in with your complaints so they can be documented and resolved

People have the right to eat and drink whatever they prefer, and are responsible for the health risks associated with their consumption...the employee has no right to express his oppinions or go as far as to question your choices. I prefer diet pepsi myself :)

Hi everyone, I have decided to stop eating any McDonald meal. This is due to the behavior of their store personnel. My recent experience with the McDonald store supervisor named Harjeet was very disappointing. This store is inside Walmart at Islington Ave. and Rexdale in Etobicoke area. Her attitude and rude behavior towards customers is quite common. Some other customers who were there ahead of me were also seen making complaints. For me, I have decided to boycott McDonald store as there are plenty of other stores who are really focusing on customer satisfaction.

As a MacDonald's Supervisor let me just say your complaints are way off the mark. We give good service, have excellent food, clean facilities, and support a large number of charities.

The problem is with the customer who thinking just because they have a few dollars in their pockets can dictate the way we run our operations. Honestly, there is nothing worse than a customer with attitude. I know on more than a few occasions I have had to tell a patron just shut up, and leave... go try Burger King with that mouth.

Your to blame.

[concerning Diet Coke] Wow. As a current employee of a McDonald's, I can say I'm utterly shocked at his behavior.

I'd say that you could complain to a manager, but said manager probably wouldn't care. But as for the healthy thing, he's right that Diet Coke isn't healthy, then again, why isn't he lecturing you on the health of the McDonald's food? And I'm sure you already know what's healthy; what isn't, and he doesn't have the right to tell you.

As for the $20 incident: She has no right to refuse a $20 bill. It's her job to keep her till full of 5's, so that change can be made. I can understand if you tried paying with a 50 or something and she didn't have change for that in her till, but even then she could go to the safe and make change.

Went to McD's tonight and ordered a Southwest Chicken sandwhich, and it had ketchup all over it. I gave it back to the girl at the window and told her there's ketchup all over, so she took it. She told the guy bagging the food behind her and he said, "Well, too damn bad." I was so sick of having messed up orders...I just yelled at the guy and said, "I pay good money for this food, it should at least be made right." Then they gave me my kids Happy Meals, and they were all mangled like someone in the back just grabbed all their food and crushed it all up! Like WTF they wanna mess with kids food for!?!? And for the guy who says be nice because we make your food, trust me...you'll get yours! I know this for a fact. Everything comes back on you, if not, it comes back on your children. Believe me, a girl I know bit another girl on the forehead above her eye...2 months later a dog attacked her little girl and bit her right on the same spot. Same night, the girls friend busted the victims window...early December over here, -52 with the windchill a drunk that they pissed off the night before came along and busted their huge living room window while their kids were home with a sitter.

McDonalds employs little ###in loser kids who like to ### with people's food...the amount of money I spend just to feed my little family is probably about 3 hours of what those little freaks call "work". I hate McDonalds and their garbage food!

For those that complain about not getting paid for 6 weeks or longer have 2 options. One you can sit around and ### about it or you could file a complaint with Employment Standards.

All businesses have to follow the same rules and can be severely penalized for breaking them and withholding pay by McDonald's wold not do them any favors.

As far as "Diet" drinks go, you have to weigh the difference between diet and regular. Diet drinks usually have aspartame or some other man made sugar in them. Aspartame has been linked to Alzheimer's, so you may have a few less calories, but over time you will forget about it anyways. I personally know of a few people who are just over 50 and are already showing signs of Alzheimer's.

Then there is regular pop. There is so much sugar in these (white sugar) it won't take long before you are taking a pill or pushing a needle because you now have diabetes. I was at a health seminar and a 3 piece KFC chicken meal with a 16oz fountain drink and a donut has so much fat they passed around a 12 oz cup full of butter as an example of what you are consuming. The pop alone has the equivalent of 1 cup(8 0z) of sugar in it.

I don't know what it is like in other province, but in Alberta, there was a huge labor shortage and McDonalds suffered in retaining older employees, so they hired allot of teens to fill the position. Allot for of these teens, it is usually their first job and allot of them are very nervous and mistakes will happen. Everyone has the same amount of time in each day and how you choose to use it is your choice, but having a little patience and not making a young child feel worse off by yelling at them goes a long way.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you don't like being treated like dirt, don't treat other that way. Unfortunately, with "fast" food comes mistakes. If you can't handle mistakes, don't go to fast food restaurants. I can be assured, that when anyone on this forum, when they were a teen made many mistakes and could have been crapped on by adults as well given the same situation. I as an adult and father would be ashamed of myself if I were to yell at a teen employee for any reason as it doesn't do anyone justice.

I believe children should respect their elders, but if their elders don't deserve it they should get it and it appears some of you have felt the consequences. Time to be an example to the kids, not a bully.

Oh man! I feel for you. Nothing worst then going to Mcdonalds and getting lectured by some person you don't even know. I don't think this person meant any harm, but he should watch what he/she says because they are still providing customer service. McDonalds' philosophy is, the customer is always right. If I were you, I would find that person's manager and complain. Then I would write a letter to the head office to tell them the nonsense that is going on within their business. On a more serious matter, that person is right, any diet drinks can be harmful to you because they contain aspartame. This may lead to cancer when excessively consumed. Another serious matter is... WHAT ARE YOU DOING ordering a double big mac combo, super-sized it and getting a Mcchiken sandwich as well. Are you crucifying yourself? Diet coke will not make you any more slimmer when you gorge that much calories in you mouth. It will be stored as fat if your body cannot get rid of it (i.e. exercise), especially if you have a low metabolic rate. It may also lead to high blood pressure, diabetes, heart attacks and low self esteem or depression, because people are constantly ridiculing you... The list goes on and on. But, it is up to you. If you keep it up, maybe you can apply to be a contestant in the BIGGEST LOSER and make some life changes. Good Luck.

I don't see the point to ask for a Diet coke while ordering a Supersized double big mac trio, but it is not the employee's job to bother you with his/her opinion. It is (badly) paid to take the order and put the food on the tray.

I agree that McDonald's is disappointing me. Maybe as Subway when you always gotta beg for veggies in your sub, if you want something else than salad. McDonald's is overpriced, fatty and everything, but they seem to not able to follow the pace with competitors.

Also, avoid the branch on Denison Street in Granby, QC. It is totally disgusting. The bathroom stinks and it is not clean. The manager is a total jerk and doesn't give a f*ck about anything, but her precious ***. I don't even want to see their kitchen. Even if I was stuck there and no other choice, but them, I walked out and waited a hour to eat elsewhere.

Another story, i went to Mcdonalds and paid with ten dollars, but the worker who barely spoke English gave me change like a gave her five dollars.

I tried to correct her, but she said I was wrong. She then went on to call me a liar. The strange part is that this woman could barely speak english, and i waited for her to figure out how to count the change.

I was very late so i asked her to check quickly. She said I was wrong, and now it was the principle, not the five dollars. i asked her for the manager, who backed the worker up without hearing my side of the story. i asked her to check the camera. she refused. She then took the drawer into another room, and came back five minutes later and said i was lying.

I was so angry that I called them a few names, but when I went to grab my coffee, I accifdently knocked it over. I apologized because it really was a mistake. I was angry and not thinking clearly when I went to grab the cup. The next thing I know they are all yelling at me and all the staff is escorting me out the door. I thought I was going to get hit.

I was victimized by McDonalds, and the manager was the worst of the bunch. If anyone cares, it was October 21, 2009 at 8am in vancouver by Thurlow and Davie. Another thing, i had well over 300 dollars in my wallet, so this was not some lame attempt to eat for free.

Shame on McDonalds!

Oct 03, 2009 @ 1800 hr. I purchased 2 kids meals and 2 #1 combos at Mcdonalds in St.Thomas ont. Once I returned home and openned one of the Big Mac container I found 2 bties had been eaten from the burger. upon returning to Mcdonalds, I showed the burger to the manager on duty. He looked at me as if to say whats wrong with the burger. I told him that when I openned the Bigmac container, the burger had been eaten by somebody w2orking in your kitchen. To which he replied " what do you want, another Bigmac" I replied " yes and what are you going to do about the eaten burger." The manager replied " I wuill give you 2 apple pies." The action and attitude of the manager on duty was vey unprofessional and undeserved. I am leaving this complaint with you to act upon in some way shape or form. I will follow up later to see if have done any about this incident.

If what you're saying is really true, that employee rocks.

Also, Diet Coke tastes horrific.

Uh...McDonalds is far from wealthy. They are actually on the brink of bankruptcy, which poses the question as to why they haven't stepped up their game and provide good customer service so that they actually can be around in 10 or 20 years?
