Chrysler review: 2015 dodge durango

Hello. My name is Andrew Adams. I have a 2015 Dodge Durango SXT. VIN 1C4RDHAGXFC937774.

On August 26 2023 I was driving from Las Vegas, Nevada to Apple Valley, California. I was going about 70 miles an hour and I noticed that my temperature indicator was all the way at high. I pulled over to let it cool down as I figured it was 107 outside even though there’s never happened before. When I got back on the freeway, the wa was multiple indication lights in my car shut off. My family and I sat in the desert for two hours in the heat, waiting for a tow. I got it towed into California to be looked at, and there was nothing they could do. I had to get it towed all the way back to Nevada and they said they have to rebuild the motor which is going to cost about $9800, I’ve had three text look at it and it’s all the same issue I have is that there’s only 58,000 miles on it. This is an issue that doesn’t normally show up till after 200,000 miles. I drive it to and from work, which is only about 3 miles each way. I don’t feel like I should have to pay $10,000 to rebuild a motor that only has 58,000 miles on it. Services have been kept up since I’ve had the vehicle. I need this vehicle for my family to be able to get around. It is currently stuck at a shop and there’s nothing I can do because I don’t have $10,000. I need to know that there’s something that can be done because this is such a low mild vehicle and this is not what you pay for and expect when you purchase a vehicle. No one should have a vehicle blow up on them with 58,000 miles on it.
