I've never had money disappear from my PayPal or Venmo. This is completely unacceptable. It's been about a month since filling a complaint. With all evidence provided. The customer service rep basically said he was sorry. There was nothing he could do except hand the complaint over to higher authority. Cash app has employees stealing money and no one is being reimbursed... Also, they have hidden my one star review on Google Play Store.

I basically purchased some brand new PlayStation 4 games that cost $46.67 in total through Walmart website on April 24, 2024 Since I’m a video game collector I decided to let the ps4 games stay unopened/sealed for a while, eventually I removed the sealed wrap and opened the ps4 games to only find out these games were not as described and defective the whole time. So obviously I have contacted Walmart customer support about this issue but unfortunately Walmart customer support told me they would not be able to give me a refund due to the ps4 games being purchased over 3 months ago and No, I can’t return the ps4 games back to my local Walmart due to Walmart not having any of the games available in my location. So Walmart customer support told me to dispute the transaction through my payment provider which is why I open a dispute claim on this transaction through my Cash App account for first time but unfortunately Cash App keeps closing my dispute claim 152405459 and won’t refund me the $46.67 despite me describing and providing all of the evidences as shown in the pictures.

Therefore, insist on the need for reviewing your case and if necessary, raise it to a higher level. Repeatedly keep pushing the question and request for an answer to why your case is routinely marked as closed.

Approximately 3 weeks ago I was told by cash app sales team, and also from reviewing their website, that I would be able to open a business account so long as I meet the requirements and upload formulating documents in order to verify my identity as well as the identity of the business. I did everything they asked for over the course of 4 days to the point of having a fully verified and functional personal account.
According to cash app I start with the personal account, and simply click a button and I will have a business account in seconds.
In reality what ended up happening was... I did everything they asked in the course of 4 days, and extra. My personal account had been verified within the first day or two, which includes verifying my identity. Cash app verified my identity through notice sent to the app, my phones, and to the email.
Everything is verified and good. When I try to upgrade to a business account the cash app is now refusing me the business account. When contacting them on the chat within the app (as they recommend) I have spoken to nearly 2 dozen agents, all but 2 were extremely rude, did not answer the questions and kept hanging up/leaving the chat. I then tried calling, Everybody except for the last agent I spoke with called me names, and hung up on me when trying to explain my situation.
I've spend near 20 hours on the line with them, and spoke to nearly 30 agents and have absolutely no progress, getting ZERO answers (in exception to copy and paste responses that are completely irrelevant). The responses are nonsense and childish. Despite being polite and cordial about this, I am currently blocked from costumer service; which appears to be retaliatory. All higher up refuse to speak with me.
So they promised me service, took my time money and resource, and then has been effectively dodging me without service for 3 weeks. Promising me a service under false pretense, and they are showing no concern for my situation, giving me the continue run around.
Because of the exchange it seems as if they are discriminating against my religious organization, and they are offering no reason as to why. They have clearly violated few federal laws, and because they are making a mockery of me and the situation, I am now considering legal action as the next step. The ONLY response I've gotten so far (besides 'I don't know') is "We DON'T service your Non profit because we ONLY service nonprofits "and so that's where we are. Again, this company is a nightmare, stay away from these people if you value yourself or your money.
Despite the horrible treatment from these people, I have been extremely cordial, and polite. It has been two weeks, I have no answers, no progress. Nothing. Through all of this, I spoke to 2 agents, the very first agent, and the very last agent, who wasn't rude, but did seem like they tried to honest help.
They also failed. Again, 3 weeks later I am left with nothing. I have multiple cases up, and they are nearly 3 weeks old, and nobody has contacted me as promised.
The company has a terrible rating, and I can see why. From the terrible history of reviews publicly available, and from their behavior I experienced first hand; its clear they don't care about you as a person or a customer.
The employees show up for a check and that's it! From talking with supervisors, it seems this attitude is one that is not only exhibited from management, but is also celebrated.
If you value your Humanity, your time, and your money, I would recommend trying to find a different group to do business with. Don't be fooled.

First of all I want to say.I had no money in my Cash App.So I am not asking for any sort of reimbursement.

My account had been verified by scanning in the front and back of my driver's license and also doing a facial scan.
To me it seems like you would be able to use that verification information to verify who the correct owner of the account is.

CASHAPP is 100% useless app! They allow scammers to proliferate, even when they have been told about a scammer. I was scammed by user $aribaybe01 for almost $1000. I reported and tried to retrieve the money. Cashapp was useless, so I figured it was a dead deal, that they would close the account and possibly ban the user from their TOS as they state. Just yesterday (after posting on many sites where this person(s) might advertise again), he/she was found again, attempting further scams. He/she is using the EXACT SAME user name and contact. Once again I reached out to Cashapp to report this criminal activity and had hoped they would then take it further THIS TIME, since they absolutely dropped the ball the first time. WELL, as expected...first the robot with the exact same script each and every time, then supposedly an actual human, reading off of the SAME script, who could not help nor would escalate this to a higher level.
IMHO, CASHAPP is nothing more than a platform for criminals and also IMHO are just as bad as the criminals they allow to proliferate and cause harm to their users.
Hopefully anyone thinking about using CASHAPP for any purpose, will think twice and not give this platform a chance to assist criminals in stealing your hard earned money from you. They hide behind the "peer to peer" statement and yet will not even take a look at a KNOWN scammer. I have made another police report and am including CASHAPP in it as an accessory in the hopes that they will change their TOS and policies to assist their users.
I implore those using CASHAPP to cease using their services until they own up to their ridiculous policies and actually assist their users who become victims of fraud, theft and effectively shut down the scammers once they are known, instead of putting the responsibility on their users. I want my money, an explanation for their mishandling of it
Cash app sent me an email confirming a $100 payment made to me, including specific details (from, to, amount, transaction #), but my account shows no transaction history, and a $0 balance. They refuse to tell me what happened to my money or to even investigate it, even though I have proof of the transaction (their email, and the sending banks transaction number identifying cash app as the recipient). Several advocates communicated with... all were unresponsive and dismissive to the issues I raised, and very blunt about their unwillingness to do anything to resolve the missing funds. The worst support people, by far, that I have ever experienced. They informed me I could file a report with my local law enforcement if I wished, knowing full well that they would just tell me it is a civil matter and that there was nothing they could do. Strongly suggests to me that there is a criminal intent on this company's part... they took the money and have no intention of giving it back! I strongly advise everyone to avoid using their service (racket). My next step is to see if a class action suit has been initiated against these mobsters.

I’ve submitted the details about several fraudulent transactions done to my account. Having submittted an itemized list of each transaction date and time and amount I was rudely astonished that my response was simply that my accoujt was closed and no further information was available. Having done more research into the issue I realized I needed to veriffy my account which I did and received notification of such action. I then resubmitted all the same information not once twice but 4 times. I was told i would receive letter regarding my issue. With nothing ever sent. I can't verify my identity on my cash app account
I can't verify my identity on my cash app account, I basically can't do anything until I verify my identity like (spending/receiving bitcoin, getting the cash app debit card, increasing my sending/ receiving cash limit, etc). So I put in my legal name, date of birth, and full social security number. But after I took a very crystal clear picture of my passport id and a very crystal clear face picture of myself for photo id, cash app says (as shown in the screenshot) “couldn't verify your identity this may affect your ability to use some features in the app”. No matter what I do, I can't seem to fix this issue. I made sure all the information I put in was correct, and I even tried to make a new account only for the same exact issue to occur again.

Disability withdrawn by multiple people
My disability card was stolen and used to withdraw money ($2400) via Cash App. We called B of A and checked with them. The bank gave us names and the transactions made. Customer service would not even take down the names those transactions were made and asked us to contact the bank. The customer service is weak and not supportive, nor do they want to make the initiative to improve their service quality by preventing fraudulent transaction.

I have been a Cash App customer for many years now, and I’ve always had good service until today. I had received a deposit for rent from a tenant on the cash app. Normally I wait for two days and on the second day, exactly 48 hours later, money shows up in the back. However, my debit card had expired and I had to replace it. The system didn’t notify me until I tried to make the deposit, which I totally understand. I immediately went in and updated with the new card in the system. Cash App wanted to charge me or make me wait two additional days for a total of four days.
When I contacted customer service, they were totally diss interested in helping at all… No help, whatsoever. They couldn’t seem to find out any information on what had went wrong or anything. They kept blaming my bank. That is not true! I am going to discontinue my service, but my money is still missing. It’s not in their account and it’s not in my account. Worst service ever! My advice is to quit them immediately, which is exactly what I’m going to do when my money finally does show up.

We are a non-profit church with an active account established with "Cash App".
We utilize this service to receive and send funds on behalf of our church organization.
On September 20, 2023, we, the church account received a $250.00 donation. sent properly to our account from Julius Walls. Upon receipt of the funds, we have tried relentless to 'cash out' without success.
We have made four (4) unsuccessful in our attempts to 'cash out' the $250.00, sent by Julius Walls. Even as of this message date. We placed several calls "Cash App" Customer Support and have been unable to obtain the proper assistance or solution to rectifying the problem. Each time we have tapped "accept" it did not release the funds, nor would it process. The calls were made to [protected] and [protected] on September 20, 2023, I personally spoke with three difference customer support reps, David, Henrico, and a very argumentative young lady with no resolution, and all three seem to be complete inept in how to handle and resolve the issue. When I asked for a supervisor or manager neither would allow me to speak either manager, or supervisor. The argumentative young lady stated a manager refused to speak with me. Need I say this absolutely poor, very poor customer service.
We have simply given up our effort of trying to 'cash out' the $250.00. We will no longer use "cash app" as a vehicle to receive and send funds. We will register our church account with a more reputable, friendly and helpful company with excellent, helpful and knowable customer service representatives, who are well trained in resolving issues and complaints.
We have notified by mail "Cash App" headquarters (1955 Broadway, Suite 600 Oakland, CA 94612) with a detail letter of our plight with their "Tech Support", our dissatisfaction with the very, very poor service, unhelpful and untrained employees. Cashapp sucks and should be shut down. They also closed my account for no reason and used them for years and always was able to talk to whoever when something was wrong with no problems. I hope they get banned from ever being able to do this kind of business ever again. Chime and SoFi are so much better.
CashApp taxes
I filed my 2022 taxes with cashapp because they did them for free. It ended up costing me $260. Not only did they do it wrong and I never got my refund, when I reached out to their customer service every single time I got an e mail from them saying "we are not tax experts...", then maybe they shouldn't be doing people's taxes! I had to go to my state and amend my return, Cashapp has no clue about taxes or customer service.

In June I was charged for a subscription to a company that I have no idea what it was. It’s called instacheckmate I called the company and they deactivated the account because it was not made money. Cash App refunded me and then they reversed it and they refused to give it back the company tonight refund me because it was considered a chargeback, and when they attempted to refund it was in dispute so it was unable to be refunded, so Cash App is awesome only responsible for that. They have denied my dispute 20 times without telling me why and my money is being held up and refunds have been given to them also it has nothing but fraud. I have all the evidence against CASHAPP and its employees. CASHAPP has made fake transactions in my acct and stole the money. When trying to get help it is impossible with CASHAPPS support team. They are incompetent and deceiving. They hang up on you. Today spoke with someone in corporate support. I could not even get a word out she kept speaking over me because she knew I knew what they have been doing. She was supposed to email me her proof. It never came because she knows she was lying just to get me off the phone. 2 months down a rabbit hole trying to get my stolen money back from CASHAPP. CASHAPP stole my money. Anyone who reads this. Check your transaction history and anyone you know who uses CASHAPP let them be warned about CASHAPPS fake transactions. I’m ready to get the FBI involved due to CASHAPPS inability to resolve an issue that they have caused.
