Starbucks Awful customer service

Sometime in Dec of 2023 I went into the Starbucks in SouthCoast market place in Fall River Ma. I did my mobile order as I always do for my coffee on this day however my coffee was awful I asked the barista Riley if she kindly remake it as it didn’t taste right that maybe something was wrong with the machine or something. I didn’t want her to feel as if I was complaining about her making my coffee as I did a mobile order and had no idea who made it anyways she picked my drink up looked at it and assured me that it was correct …I was very shocked by her response i assured her that something was of with it that I drank one everyday. She did remake it and it was great I went to leave and she rudely shouts your welcome! As I was leaving i was very confused on why she was so upset with me asking her to remake my coffee (only time I have ever asked a barista at Starbucks to remake my coffee) I never complained about Riley and the incident I let it go fast forward to 1-7-24 @10:46 a.m. I get my usual mobile order and on this day my children asked me for cake pops I went to the counter and asked the barista at the counter for my cake pops and guess who it is that’s right! Riley well I guess she remembered me because what happens next left me more confused than anything after taking my order she takes the next customer behind me proceeded to take his order (not an issue) once she was done taking his order she than walks over to the barista who is now making the gentleman’s coffee that was behind me. Here’s where I got very confused and angry although I said nothing I do not understand why she went to make someone’s coffee who was already being served instead of grabbing my cake pops which were literally right behind her when I first placed my order. Now once the gentleman who was behind me had his coffee and was on his way is when a barista went and grabbed my order. Now I’m not trying to be that nagging person but I don’t understand what I did to the barista to have her be this unprofessional to a paying customer I will no longer go to that Starbucks which is a shame as it is less than a mile from home but my fear now is that I’m actually complaining about Riley and her unprofessional service is she going to spit in my coffee or worse next?

Starbucks Fraud offer on app

Starbucks advertised on their app that if you purchase a gift card for $25, you receive a $5 credit. I never received the $5 credit so I emailed. They are not honoring the deal saying that only so many people could get it. That should have been stated on the advertisement or they should have taken down the offer when it was no longer available. This is fraud! I have a completely different perspective of Starbucks now. Very disappointing.

Starbucks Hot chocolate

I purchased 10 hot chocolate pods for $12.99 at Shaws. Price was high compared to other brands. I paid the price because i thought the taste would be worth it. MY MISTAKE.
Followed the directions 8 Oz of water. It was not at all rich indulgence. It was a weak taste of chocolate and diluted using 8 Oz of water. I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED. It also left an aftertaste of sweeter.

Claimed loss: $11.99 price pd.

Starbucks Service

Stopped by my local starbucks today to get my wife her favorite frapp. I get in the drivethru, order, wait in line, get to the window to pay. I hand them a $50 bill and they say they cant change that. A multi million dollar company and a meager $50 bill shuts them down. Needless to say I left with no frapp. The least they could have done was let me have it, would 1 free frapp throw yall into bankruptcy? It was already made so I guess one of them enjoyed it or either they poured it down the drain.

I went to Starbucks for a birthday drink on November 23. I ordered a venti caramel macchiato hot and had app downloaded on my phone and they denied it saying I needed to have had app on my phone longer. On app it does not say that. So I had to pay out of pocket. But that was a bummer because everyone says you can get a drink with app on birthday. I feel like that was negligence and false advertisement.

Starbucks Store closed when I got there

I went to pick up my bag tonight at 7pm and the store was closed and in total darkness when I got there so I havent received any food at all. £3.59 paid.

Starbucks my free birthday drink

I have a gold card since 2010 and I am always getting a drink from Starbucks. Well both last year and this year I never got my birthday drink. I sent them a email and this morning I received a reply with a mistake my name is Maria and they said dear Kate. They said that I need to purchase a drink before my birthday and I did that the Tuesday and Friday before November 6th ( my birthday) and they hope that I will get my drink next year and also they want my 16-digit number from my gold card to check the number is [protected].

Starbucks Rude and racist service from baristas

I have never experienced such rude and racially discriminatory customer service from teenagers before.

A white teenage girl at the counter, Emilie, was extremely unfriendly and blunt while taking the order. I wanted to order hot tea. When she asked what kind, I asked for Pink tea from the menu board that says TEA and paid $4.75 and waited.

My order didn't come out for a long time, so the girl making the drinks asked what I had ordered. I said I ordered a pink hot tea, but she kept asking me again. I told her to ask the girl at the counter where I placed my order. I've always received fast service from at any starbucks , because normally my order goes directly to the person making it, so I didn't understand why it was taking so long for a simple hot tea.

After a while, she told me that pink tea is not hot tea; it's only available cold and said there are only three types of hot tea.

I clearly asked what types of hot tea were available at the counter, and a girl named Emilie, who seemed bothered, just told me to order from menu so I naturally chose Pink tea.

It seems Manager doesnt properly train their staff on the menu at this location.

I waited after ordering a peach hot tea, but I went to the counter as I thought the price might be different. A girl named Leya (also looks like a teenager) said the price was different, so she would refund me and recharged it for $2.95.

These girls, who made me wait with a wrong order, go through a refund and recharge, didn't apologize once but giggled among themselves. I have never received such rude customer service, and it was unpleasant to see the very immature and impolite behavior of these teenagers.

Please educate your staff, especially the girl at the counter, on the menu and basic customer service etiquette! And I found emilie was very friendly to Caucasian customers , so I felt racially discriminated by very immature teenager girl at the counter. I have never experienced such poorly managed service in my life at any other starbucks location.

Desired outcome: I would like an apology and proper customer service and menu education to employees !

Starbucks Holiday cups

It’s wrong to see you have these cups available and not be able to order them.

I went to Starbucks here in Leavenworth Ks in Sep and was told they sold out. Yet I see online they are selling them for hundreds of dollars. I was looking forward to getting the 2023, nightmare before Christmas just one for me to enjoy. Yet ever time I asks they say they sold out never once saw them on the floor. There has to be a solution where it’s not only certain people buy them all and charge triple the amount on the internet . You can say it’s first come first serve but something or someone is taking them all .

Maybe figure out we’re we can pre-order just one that would be fair.

Starbucks eliminating raspberry syrup and chocolate covered grahamcracker cookies

I have been a customer for several years and this is the second time you have

discontinued these items, why? The hot chocolate is bland without an added flavor. I have tried other flavors and they do not give the drink a pleasant taste. Please consister bring them back. I do not drink coffee, so hot chocolate is my only choice. So many people enjoyed this syrup and the cookies. I hope you have gotten many complaints about this issue, so you will reconsider your decision soon.

Starbucks Staff discrimination against customers

On September 22nd 2023, I went into the Starbucks located at :

2095 Golden Centre Lane in Gold River California 95670. After making my purchase with two other gentlemen that accompanied me, I went outside to wait for my number to be called. When the number was called we all went back in to pick up the order. Upon approaching the counter to get the beverages, the store manager said to one of the gentlemen I was with, That he could not come in the store because he had been harassing patrons. I explained to the manager as best I could that the person she was speaking to and about had recently come to this country and was from Russia and did not speak English.

She was adamant that this was the individual who was harassing patrons. After minutes of intense exchange in front of customers regarding the situation, while feeling embarrassment and confusion we began to walk out. We were approached by an officer who was called by the management of the Starbucks. The officer informed us that he had been summoned and stated that we were trespassing.

We informed the officer that the individual that she had accused of starting trouble did not speak English and had recently come to America. We explained to him our story and verified that the story was in fact accurate. He then gave us a notice of trespass and explained to us that because someone had called, he had to carry out his duty but that he believed us and didn't want the situation to escalate so he cited us as “Notice of Trespass.” Upon leaving the premises we received dark stares and cold gestures from customers as well as individuals outside the Starbucks. We were told that we cannot go back to Starbucks because of the discomfort we caused the other customers. The false allegations made by the supervisor caused me and the two gentlemen with me to be ethnically discriminated against for our limited ability to speak English. We are candidates for political asylum and this infraction is an obstacle to being granted citizenship.

We did nothing wrong but have been victims of discrimination. I would like to speak with senior management regarding this matter.

Starbucks Grady Hospital location, Atlanta Ga.

I order on the app ahead of time here at the hospital. Today, again my order was trashed. no refund, no nothing. This is unacceptable. This is about the 5th time this has happened.

Will you please get the folks there to stop throwing our orders in the trash because we don't always get there in 30 mins. Many of us are busy seeing patients and get bogged down at times. To then go to the counter to find out your order has been trashed is really a humiliating kick in one's crotch. They don't even give the orders to hungry homeless people nearby. I could accept that.

But no! You send it directly to the garbage. I have probably spent thousands of dollars with your company and today is the last day I will spend another red dime with you.

Desired outcome: You need to adjust your policy. You need to send me a card with unlimited potential. Lastly you need to issue an apology whether it truly insincere or not, make the effort. As it stands I won't be back.
