After depositing $10.55 into my Skrill account, I am unable to withdraw it. To help you better understand what kind of trick they use to prevent you from withdrawing your money, they simply set a withdrawal limit below what you deposited and a maximum amount above what you have, making it impossible to withdraw. Although I have verified my identity on the account using the required documents and been approved by the Skrill team, as well as sent an email complaining about what happened, the situation remains the same. I was told my account was permanently closed for no reason. I deposited $100 and they said they will transfer my funds once I give them my bank details and proof of deposit so I did and then I was told it was not the correct statement and yet that's the only way to give proof from my bank. Cannot close account - customer services not responding
While ago I made an account with Skrill to do ONE SINGLE online payment which I couldn't do by other means. Now months later I got an email from them that within a few weeks, they will start to "charge" me money each month for having an account, unless I make another purchase/payment once every six months.
Of course, I did not know this and do not want this, I do not even need Skrill account anymore, but after attempting dozens of times to close the account, I am still unsuccessful. My password is forgotten and every time I request a password change, by the time I get the email, it is expired. So I cannot change my password and cannot login to close the account.
Worst thing of this horrible experience is that Skrill themselves apparently do not even respond, even after several tickets and emails to them about this issue.
I want to make it VERY CLEAR TO THEM that I will NOT agree with this SCAM-like operation they are running, and I WILL file a complaint with the international consumer board if this is not resolved by them soon. I already spoke to my attorney and it is possible to take necessary legal steps if necessary. They MUST make sure their services work as advertized, and if not, they are legally responsible for any issues caused by their failing and lacking services.

Then, today on 9. 21. 22, I got another email from Customer Service and it said that Law Enforcement could reach out to them but not by email. I asked for the phone number, but they responded by saying they have their own way to reach us. What kind of company is this?
I even went to the Oakland County Sheriff's Department to try and get some help, but they had no idea how to contact them as no one in the office today has any idea what this company is. They have never heard of it. They literally Googled it while I was in the office!
It seems to me like this company is in on the scams with scammers. There is no way a reputable company operates by email only but lists a phone number that no one can get through on. If anyone knows another avenue that I can use to contact them please share!

It felt like they were stealing from me, and I noticed that they were doing this to many customers from other countries. Skrill seems to be afraid of messing with countries that could easily sue them, which is why customers from America, England, and Europe are not experiencing these issues.
When I researched Skrill's history, I discovered that they started as a gambling company. It's not surprising that they have poor customer service and are not trustworthy. I would not recommend Skrill to anyone, especially if you are from a different country.
