Skrill Skrill Review: Suspended Account, Administration Fee, and No Service - A Costly Lesson Learned

So, I gotta tell you about my experience with Skrill. I signed up back in September 2019 and paid in ?50. They asked for some KYC AML details to verify my account, which is pretty standard stuff. I sent in my deets and waited for them to activate my account. But then, they left my account in a suspended state! I couldn't even withdraw the money I had just paid in. I was pretty ticked off, to say the least.

Fast forward to July 2020, and I finally got an email saying my account had been verified. But then, just a few days later, I got another email saying they wanted to end our "business relationship" and that they were going to deduct a ?50 administration fee. They called it a Repair Fee, but let's be real, it was just a way to take my money. They suspended my account for over 9 months, verified it, and then immediately closed it and took all my money. I never even got to use their service once!

So now I'm out ?50 for opening an account that took forever to verify, and then they charged me to close it. It's a pretty expensive lesson, and I feel like they played me dirty. I wouldn't recommend Skrill to anyone after this experience.

Skrill Skrill Review: Stole My Money and Closed My Account Without Warning

I recently signed up for Skrill, hoping to have a secure wallet for my money. However, I had a terrible experience with them. I made a big mistake by trusting them with my money. They ended up stealing my money and banning my account for no apparent reason. I was devastated, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal.

I read reviews from other people who had the same problem as me. Skrill stole their money and closed their account for no reason. It's quite frustrating to see that they can get away with such fraudulent activities. I wouldn't advise anyone to trust them with their money.

Here's my story. I registered with Skrill, and for a week, everything was going smoothly. I did some transactions with small amounts, and there were no issues. However, when I put a high amount on my account, things took a turn for the worse. I received an email from Skrill stating that my account had been permanently closed. They didn't give me any reason for the closure, nor did they warn me so that I could withdraw my funds before they closed my account.

I tried every possible way to log in to my account, but it was all in vain. My money was gone, and there was no way to get it back. I felt cheated and betrayed by Skrill. They stole my money and closed my account without any explanation.

I would advise anyone looking for a secure wallet for their money to stay away from Skrill. They are not trustworthy, and they will steal your money without any warning. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Skrill Skrill Review: A Horrible Place to Keep Your Money - Not Recommended!

Skrill, in my opinion, is not a service that I would recommend to anyone. I am not sure why people continue to use it, including myself. However, I have an account with them, but I am having a hard time trying to get my money. It seems like they are making it impossible for me to use my own money. Skrill is not accepted in almost any of the most secure and top visited online stores, so you can't spend your money either. If you can't spend or withdraw your money with Skrill, what can you do with this service? You can buy crypto, but I would advise you to NEVER EVER use Skrill to buy crypto. The system will prevent you from selling when you want to make a profit or buying when you feel like it. They also retain all rights to rob you off your crypto in case they decide to remove it or in case they decide that you are violating the policy. What is their policy anyway? I think no one ever knows for sure because they constantly change it.

HEY SKRILL, if you are reading this, NO ONE WANTS TO HAVE THEIR MONEY MISHANDLED. It's money for the love of god, and we spend time earning it, not to let some stupid service prevent us from using our money. Skrill is a $#*!head service, with awfully idle support and a truly horrible place to keep your money. I would give Skrill one star if I could.

In conclusion, I would advise anyone who is thinking of using Skrill to think twice. It is not a reliable service, and they make it hard for you to use your own money. They are not accepted in most online stores, and their crypto service is a complete disaster. If you want to keep your money safe and secure, I would suggest using a different service. Skrill is not worth the hassle.

Skrill Disappointing Response from Skrill Customer Service Regarding Fraudulent Activity

I had a really bad experience with Skrill recently. I was the victim of fraud and I reported it to the company, but I was really disappointed with their response. All they said was "The matter has been handled by our security department accordingly." I called their customer service to try and get more information, but the person I spoke to wasn't very helpful. I asked a simple question - whether the person who defrauded me was blocked from using their system - but they just kept giving me vague answers. It was really frustrating because I just wanted a straight answer. As someone who has been the victim of fraud, I think it's really important to know whether the person who did it is still able to harm other people. Losing money is bad enough, but feeling like the company you trusted isn't taking your concerns seriously is even worse. Skrill is supposed to be a company that you can trust, but my experience has left me feeling really disappointed. I even sent them an email asking for a clear answer, but I never heard back from them. I wouldn't recommend using Skrill to anyone.

Skrill Skrill Review: Poor Customer Service and Suspicious Account Restrictions

So, I recently had an experience with Skrill and let me tell you, it was not a good one. I woke up to a whopping 5 emails from them stating that my account had been restricted and that I needed to send in my ID to have it unlocked. Now, I don't know about you, but that seemed a bit fishy to me. I mean, I had never even heard of this company before, let alone opened an account with them.

So, I did what any normal person would do and googled their phone number to try and get in touch with their Fraud Department. But, to my dismay, no one answered for the last 5 days! Can you believe that? I was starting to get really frustrated and worried about what was going on.

Finally, I decided to send them an email and to my surprise, I actually got a response. I asked them if they could send me the contact information so that I could file a Police report due to this not being my account. But, the emails said that my card number was linked which is not any card that I have.

Then, today on 9. 21. 22, I got another email from Customer Service and it said that Law Enforcement could reach out to them but not by email. I asked for the phone number, but they responded by saying they have their own way to reach us. What kind of company is this?

I even went to the Oakland County Sheriff's Department to try and get some help, but they had no idea how to contact them as no one in the office today has any idea what this company is. They have never heard of it. They literally Googled it while I was in the office!

It seems to me like this company is in on the scams with scammers. There is no way a reputable company operates by email only but lists a phone number that no one can get through on. If anyone knows another avenue that I can use to contact them please share!

I just want to make it clear that I have never opened or tried to open anything with these people. It's really frustrating to be dealing with something like this and not be able to get any help. I hope that Skrill can get their act together and start providing better customer service.

Skrill Negative balance on Skrill account due to old transaction - Unacceptable Customer Support

I've been using Skrill for a long time now, mainly during my travels as a safety measure to avoid using my regular cards. However, I haven't been using it much lately since I got Revolut, which is much more convenient. I even received a new card from Skrill, but I never activated it.

Everything was going well until one day, I noticed that my account had a negative balance. I was surprised and confused since I hadn't activated my new card, and I had no money in my account. I contacted Skrill's customer support to ask how this could be possible. They replied that the charge was from something I bought a couple of years ago, and the merchant decided to claim the money now.

I was shocked and frustrated by this response. How could I remember a transaction from two years ago? Moreover, a merchant cannot just claim money whenever they want. They have a specific time frame to do so, which is usually around 10 days. Skrill was asking me to pay for a transaction that I couldn't even remember, and the inactive card had a negative balance, which shouldn't have been possible since it's a debit card.

In summary, Skrill was asking me to pay for a transaction that may have happened two years ago, and the inactive card had a negative balance. This experience was unacceptable, and I decided to close my account. I hope Skrill improves its customer support and policies to avoid similar situations in the future.

Skrill Skrill Review: Poor Customer Service and Untrustworthy Practices for International Customers

I started using Skrill towards the end of 2020 as a freelancer who receives online payments. At first, I was hesitant to share my Skrill link to receive payments, but after three months of testing it out, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, as soon as I received my first payment and shared my email, Skrill restricted my account.

I tried to resolve the issue by uploading my government-issued national identification module, but Skrill rejected it multiple times. I suggested that they only needed my identity number, and with access from the government, they could verify my identity. However, Skrill continued to reject my identification.

From December 2020 to July 2021, I tried to upload another state ID with my picture, date of birth, address, and state of origin. However, Skrill rejected it again, claiming that they could not verify if it was a government-issued ID.

Their excuse was ridiculous, and I was frustrated with their lack of customer service. I requested a refund to my PayPal email address and the closure of my Skrill account. Although they closed my account, they refused to refund my money or reply back to me.

It felt like they were stealing from me, and I noticed that they were doing this to many customers from other countries. Skrill seems to be afraid of messing with countries that could easily sue them, which is why customers from America, England, and Europe are not experiencing these issues.

When I researched Skrill's history, I discovered that they started as a gambling company. It's not surprising that they have poor customer service and are not trustworthy. I would not recommend Skrill to anyone, especially if you are from a different country.

Skrill Skrill's Poor Customer Service and Account Suspension: A Disappointing Experience

I've been using Skrill for a long time, like 15 years or so. I've spent a lot of money with them, but recently I had a problem. I made a payment that was charged back by my bank, which put my Skrill account in the negative. As soon as I found out, I made a payment to bring my account back into credit. But then my account got suspended and I've been trying to fix it for almost a week now. I've sent three support requests, but no one has bothered to reply. It's really disappointing and unacceptable to me. I just wanted to close my account and withdraw my balance, but I can't even do that now. It's not fair that I'm being punished for trying to cover a negative balance as soon as I found out about it.

I've been promised a response from Skrill for two weeks now, but they still haven't gotten back to me. It's really frustrating and I don't think it's fair that they're treating me this way. I've been a loyal customer for so long and this is how they treat me? It's just not right.

I'll keep everyone updated on my situation and make sure others know about the way Skrill has treated me. I don't want anyone else to go through this nightmare. My ticket number is #***, but I doubt anyone at Skrill even cares.

Overall, I'm really disappointed with Skrill and I don't think I'll be using their services again in the future. It's just not worth the hassle and stress.

Skrill Skrill Review: High Fees and Shady Practices

I've been using Skrill for about a year now and I gotta say, it's been a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, the fees to convert and withdraw money are pretty high, but I figured that was just the cost of doing business. However, my opinion of Skrill took a nosedive last September when I tried to move a few hundred dollars from my Skrill account to my bank.

At first, everything seemed fine - the transfer went through without a hitch. But when I checked my bank account, the money was nowhere to be found. Naturally, I contacted Skrill customer service to see what was up. They told me to wait 10 days, which I did, but still no money. So I contacted them again, and this time they told me there was an issue with my bank.

Now, here's the thing - I'd had the same banking info saved on Skrill's website for a while, with no changes. But when I went to check it again, I noticed that Skrill had deleted my bank info. What's more, they'd put most of the money back into my Skrill account, minus a $70 fee. When I asked them about it, they said it was because of the issue with my bank. But when I contacted my bank, they said they had no record of any Skrill interactions on the day in question.

To me, it seems like Skrill deleted my bank info to cover their tracks and avoid any responsibility for the missing money. And when I looked into it further, I found out that they'd done this to a lot of other people too, and charged them fees for the privilege. It's pretty shady if you ask me.

Anyway, I immediately cashed out with my newly entered banking info and closed my Skrill account. I'd advise anyone else thinking of using Skrill to do their research first and read some customer comments. You might be surprised at what you find.

Skrill International money transfer

I used skrill to make an international money transfer on April 5th may 2023.
I transferred the money to the account they provided which Is private safe solutions limited.
After 3 days my transfer was cancelled and I was told in an email the money will reach within 2-5 working days. And it's been 20 days since then every day I make a call to the customer services and they ask for the samr details after providing they say they will get back but the money never returned.
It's a huge sum but nobody from Skrill team seem to care. Even after providing all the documents they still don't seem to understand where the money is! All the incidents are resolved without any resolutions.

Desired outcome: I want the resolution ASAP. I need my money transferred back to my account.

Skrill skrill is a scam company

My wife’s Skrill had it closed for no reason a few years ago, because the account was created while my wife was still alive. Because of this reason, my wife unfortunately died of the new crown. I contacted Skrill to withdraw funds from my personal account, but I was refused to provide Only my wife’s personal bank account can be withdrawn. Now I found my wife’s bank account and provided it to Skrill to withdraw funds from the account. I have sent emails for more than ten days in a row, but I have not received any reply from Skrill. With help, Skrill is a real scam company, I hope its regulators can shut down such a scam company and ask it to return my wife's legitimate funds!

Skrill restricted my account for no reason and without any notice and has not given me to use my balance for more than 2 years! I have been working as an affiliate generating traffic from my websites, i have invoices for every commission that i received. I had a small company in Russia that was ruined by skrill, I couldn't pay salaries to employees and freelancers for the service, and I accumulated a lot of debt, I started to have serious financial problems, loans from banks, large debts in credit companies, divorce from my wife, fled the country etc. I want to note that none of the Skrill representatives ever contact me or provide any information or reason why my account is restricted. I turned to the financial ombudsman and she told me that Skrill is ready to return the money to me (suddenly skrill started replying to messages almost every day), Skrill clarified that they can transfer my money only to another Skrill account that is registered outside of Russia, the same notification (by email) was sent to me by Skrill. I sent to Skrill my friend's account to transfer the funds, Skrill confirmed that they can transfer my balance to the provided account.

My friend added the European bank account, but Skrill disappeared again and for more than 17 days no one from Skrill has contacted me, they didn't transfer my funds to the provided and confirmed Skrill account. They just keep ignoring all my appeals to them from December 16!

To be honest, I think that Skrill is a scammer, they once again deceived me! These are heartless people, they destroy families!

Anyone please if you can help me contact me by email/phone or send me a message, I will be very grateful to you!

Desired outcome: I want my money (full amount of $ 158,737 ) to be transferred to my friend's Skrill account which was confirmed by Skrill or to my bank account IMMEDIATELY!!!

Skrill Integrity Issue - they closed my account and took my money

I have moved to UK for work on the 4th of October 2022.

I would like to make a complaint against a financial services provider called Skrill (www.Skrill.com).

Case summary:

I was approaching their customers services team professionally by email requesting them to change my address to my new address in the UK. I have provided them several proof of address documents (three bank statements from three different UK banks) as requested.

Later they sent me email telling me that my account has been closed permanently (without provide a specific reason) and they took all the balance in my account there as admiration fee (I don’t understand what is admin fees for?!).

The balance I have in my account there is very small and that is not a big issue for me. What does not seem right to me are:

1. Their attitudes by keeping requesting me a proof of address. Every time I provide them with a bank statement that shows my address, they come back to me requesting another proof. This happened three times and in each time I provided them with bank statement (the three bank statements provided are from Lloyds bank, Starling bank and Halifax bank).

2. One of accepting proof of address in their list is a bank statement. And when I provided with that, they did not accepted.

3. They suddenly closed my account without notice.

4. They took the money in my account.

In my last email to them, I told them that if they want to close my account that is ok with me but they have to send all balance in my account to me. They have no right to take that money even though the amount is very small.

As I didn’t get support from them in this regard, I have decided to approach you to get the support.

Desired outcome: 1. I need them to send the funds in my account to me.2. Get my account with them back

Skrill Unreasonable Account Restriction by Skrill Staff

I have been using Skrill for many years and I was sattisfied, however after many years of satisfaction, Desislava threw everything into water. The reasons:

1. Highly unprofessional behavior. I am asking her questions, she is responding shortly, inaccurate and closing the ticket as Resolved even she didnt try to help me. Than I need to reopen a ticket and wait at least 48 hours in order to get another unprofessional quick answer which will again be closed as "Resolved".

2. She locked my account by claiming that my account was created when I was underage! Now I am 31 years old. I am asking her when my account was created, she refuses to respond me and telling me to check my emails when I have created my account. If she knows that I was underage when I have opened my account, this means she knows the exact date when I created the Account however instead of giving me an answer, she tells me to check my email and find and email before many many many years.

3. Lets assume that I was underage when I created my account, why they accepted the account creation? There was ID Card Verification since ever. Didnt they see that I am underage that time? How they did such a huge mistake!? Also another absurd thing is that I am 31 Years old! According to their Terms and Conditions, people under 18 cant use their services, i am +13 from 18. If I created account and got verified before 18, this is not my mistake, this is their mistake so I shouldnt be the one punished after decade, the person who allowed this creation should be punished.

4. I have done dozens of transactions via Skrill, since it was Moneybooker. Maybe Desislava that time was learning how to read letters and now comes and restricts my account. Shame on you.

Skrill Withdrawal issue with Skrill since 2nd June 2022

I am facing issue with skrill since 2nd June 2 transactions was processed and should reflect in bank account within 4-5 working days but till now no news where funds goes.

Specially customer services are so pathetic and they are very much in time wasting, they even don't care how important time is and to give response to the consumers after chasing them 2-3 times they responded with robotic response they will get back after 24-48 hours and got a response after 72 hours whiles again chasing them just with one transaction 2nd transaction still they required more 24-48 hours.

So after sending them ticket got another bonce from them to give verification of account even account was fully verified so far till yesterday.

Skrill I dont get my balance back for 1month

I paid 2 times first transaction is 133.08euro and45.58euro on 16may and that is refunded and i dont get my refund for 1month.. Please check it good and add my funds back!

Skrill Payment not received

my skrill account was closed due to verification, they request for National ID card & Bank statement, i provided the both documents, but they rejected the bank statement without mention the actual reason, (we cannot accept), i again send the other bank statement again they didn't accept without any reason.

although i have received withdraw from skrill many times on my same bank account that i provide in the document on first verification.

so anyone can ask Skrill team what they are doing & why they are doing wrong?

i already call many times to International landline number, but no solution provided.

can you help me in this regard?

looking forward for quick positive response.

Desired outcome: Please refund my amount.

Skrill Unauthorized transaction was told provisional credit was added and it has not been

I filed unauthorized transaction dispute March 6,22 for the amount of 153.46 Walmart as my previous Skrill card was stolen . received an email March 31,22 saying they credited my account with provisional credit of 153.46 while they finish the investigation but they never added the credit now they keep saying they are having technical issues that is preventing this credit from being added.

Desired outcome: Credit my account as promised
