I wasn't only duped, I was accosted and assaulted. This was probably the worst experience I've had in recent memory. Honestly, I still can't believe what happened. 2 years ago I had the transmission in my F150 rebuilt at this shop. At the time, I was debating whether to do the work or just trade it in. The salesman who is also the manager, Vince, convinced me to do the work and promised that I would not have any problems after the work was done and a great warranty if I did. He claimed that he had 3 F150's and he knew exactly how to fix it. Under 2 years and only 9000 miles later...

I gave them my '1993 Christler New Yorker that was not shifting into some of the gears in which I was charged and paid in full the amount ask which was approximately $1, 300.00 with a ninety day warranty that the car would shift properly. and I have had the car broke down before I ever got it home the first time and it's been towed at my expense a total of four times in less than those 90 days that were warranted. He has refused to give me my money back. So I had my attorney Mark Erdberg call him due to his illegitament practices.. My wife as the only bread winner has lost her job due...

My wife & I just spent over $6000 for transmission repairs @ your Bear, DE shop. She picked up the vehicle on 9/19. While driving back to work she stopped at a store & the vehicle would not turn off. She immediately called the shop & was told some one would call her back. She never received a call. The vehicle eventually turned off by itself.
I called the shop @ 0815 on 9/20 & was told by Larry he never received a call. He said he would arrange to have the vehicle towed.
My wife then called to finalize the arrangements & was told by Larry since I turned down the option of having a...

Took vehicle in transmission gone 6/1/11. Did a complete rebuild for $2495.00. Picked up car 6/17/11 Didn't get 10 miles up I95 and transmission went bad again. Yesterday 7/10/11 transmission blew seal and was so hot it set vehicle on fire. Had to call fire department. Service was totally worthless. Now have to pay to rebuild transmission again and repair fire damage. Call me 864-886-8469. Of course I was stuck on the highway in the middle of a long distance trip and didn't have the advantage of being able to ask for referrals and wasn't familiar with any other transmission businesses...

AAMCO - Washington, Olympia - The worst service in car repair

I had a transmission service in AAMCO, Olympia on Nov 11, 2011. After 4 months, I found its leaking. I went back to them on April 17, 2012. The store manager said it was not their responsibilities. After checking records, I found the mileage AMMCO put on my transmission service was wrong. So It looks like my car ran 110, 000 miles in 4 months. Later, the manager said my has a 'small leak' and the technician had tied the gasket for me. But in fact, they did not fix the problem. In 2 days, the transmission fluid dropped from 3 qtr to 2 qtr (small leak?) Today I had to spend $120 to ask another...

On 12/8/2011 I had my 1999 Mazda 626 towed to AAMCO in Roslindale, MA using the free towing and diagnostic test that was offered, to have the transmission rebuilt. I went over to AAMCO and spoke to Ted who said he would look at it and call me back later that day. Before leaving I asked how long the work would take Ted told me I would have the car back before the end of the following week. Ted did not call me back that day, so I called Ted 12/9/2011, to find out what was going on, how much it was going to cost. When we spoke over the phone Ted told me the work was coming along good, and I should...

Bringing my car into this AAMCO was the worst experience with any business that I have ever had. I spoke withthe owner Vijay last week and told him my situation. My speedometer stopped working and the day it stopped working I noticed my check engine light would go on about ten minutes into driving and shut off everytime I turned the car off. AAMCO advertisment states that they will check and diagnose the "check engine light for free promotion." After speaking with Vjay many times on whn to bring the car in I took a day off and brought it in. I called about two hours before to make sure he remembered...

AAMCO - Don't deal with this company

The transmission on my 2008 Ford Focus was damaged by my son trying to pull my car out of the mud. He was not covered under my insurance so therefore I was stuck paying out of pocket. Ford quoted me 5, 000 to get my car repaired, because of my financial situation I shopped around. I located a company on the internet by the name of TranmissionCiti.com. They assured me that there was a lifetime guarantee on their work, and that they could rebuild my transmission for 2991.00. That included everything. I was so desperate that I neither did research on this company, nor did I shop further. I just wanted...

I had a transmission issue and took it to the shop on Golf Links. They would not give me any estimate. Could be something minor, they told me. They claimed they had to take out the transmission and inspect it though which was five hundred bucks, before they could tell me anything even though they are the "transmission experts". The five hundred was not to actually fix anything, just to sneak a peek. I was desperate so I agreed to it. Then they come back and tell me oh geez, it will be three thousand dollars. But don't worry - if you don't want to pay we will put it back in your car and...

I am very disappointed in the service that this "so called business" provided or did not provide in that matter. On July 2, 2011 which was a Saturday I called this location to see if I can get an estimate or idea to see roughly how much a repair to a transmission would run. I spoke to Jose. He stated that he could not provide a price over the phone and that he would like for me to come in and bring the vehicle so he can see what the issue with the transmission is. We brought the car in on Tuesday July 6th at 8am like he asked. Jose said that he would not charge us to look at the vehicle and he would...

AAMCO - Florida, Fort Walton Beach - Avoid this shop

Beware of the Aamco transmission shop in FWB! This place is a full fledged scam that will make up repairs that your vehicle is in need of and then make excuses for why the original problem still exists all the while still expecting payment for the unnecessary fix.

We brought in our Expedition for rear end clunking, our warranty company told us that Aamco will except the warranty company's payment amount. So we think great no out of pocket costs...think again. Aamco said that the rear end needed to be rebuilt and received approval from our warranty company for the work($1200)....

I called Aamco because they were the only transmission shop within 60 miles of my residence. I spoke with a guy over the phone who asked what my car was doing. I told him that the vehicle was driving normal, had never had any transmission issues whatsoever, the fluid was normal level and suddenly the overdrive light started blinking, about 30 seconds later the vehicle began to rev up, jump and shift into the next gear everytime it would shift. As I said I had no prior warning of this happening because my car hasn't had problems. The Aamco employee told me that it sounded like my car (98 Ford...

AAMCO - Better stay away from Aamco

I had taken my car to Aamco to have the transmission replaced in July. They gave me a quote that seemed a little high and I couldn’t afford it at the time, so I bought a transmission with a 101 day warranty and took it to them to install. They told me it would take about a week till they could get around to it.

I was fine with that except I called everyday and they kept telling me it would be done tomorrow. After a week and a half, the guy tells me that transmission wouldn’t work, because it was $1, 100 and a 30 day warranty but they wouldn’t put it in writing.
