Got myself a pair of earrings from By Alona through Farfetch.com. Gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the quality. The back pin is so small and weak that it broke off after just a few wears. It feels like it's made from really cheap materials.

So, I just got my choker from By Alona and I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out. I was really looking forward to it, but when I opened the package, it looked like something I could've picked up at a bargain bin for a couple of bucks. The quality is just not there, and for the price I paid, I expected a lot more.

To make matters worse, the return policy is pretty bad. I don't think I'll be able to get my money back, which is really frustrating. I definitely won't be buying from this shop again.

Overall, I would say that if you're looking for quality jewelry, you should probably look elsewhere. By Alona just doesn't cut it.

So, I bought a necklace from By Alona (byalona.com) a few months ago and it tarnished pretty quickly, even though I barely wore it. I tried to get in touch with them through chat, but they ignored me for months. Finally, when I was able to speak to someone, they told me that I would have to pay to get it fixed, which is ridiculous considering how little I wore it.

Honestly, I've used a lot of cheap affordable jewellery online brands, and By Alona is by far the worst. I've even bought from more expensive websites, and they were better than this. It's totally ridiculous that I spent so much money on a necklace that I only got a few wears out of. The gold plating is clearly cheap, and the communication was non-existent through chat. If you have any issues, make sure to email them instead.

Overall, I would not recommend By Alona to anyone. Save your money and buy from a more reputable brand.

I recently got myself a pair of the Nakai Earrings in Gold from By Alona's website. When the package arrived, I was a bit concerned about how heavy they were. I've had big earrings before, and they usually have a hollow metal part to make them lighter. I decided to email the company to ask if this was normal, and they replied saying that they hadn't had any issues with the weight before.

I wore the earrings only four times, and each time I had problems with them. They were so heavy that they pulled my piercing down, leaving a slit where the hole should be. The fastenings were also very stiff, and they hurt and bled when I tried to remove the backs of the studs to take off the earrings.

To make matters worse, the earrings turned my piercings and the studs themselves green. They made my ears puffy and green every time I wore them, and the last time they even gave me an infection in my right ear's piercing. The infection left a scar on the back of my ear when it healed. When I took them to my jeweler, he said that the gold plating must have been mixed with something else or not gold at all to cause them to turn green with contact with my skin. I have many gold-plated earrings that don't cause me any issues at all.

On top of all these issues, the stone star at the bottom of the earrings wasn't cut properly. The person who cut them went too far and took a nick out of the bottom, as you can see in the first photo.

I complained to By Alona, but they didn't investigate or ask to see the earrings, and I didn't get a return. Now I realize that I could have disputed this with PayPal. It's such a waste of money for such cheap tat.
