Ordering item 212418
The wrong peice was charged. The search showed a price of $51.60. I was charged $64.50. The website allowed me to order a size that they did not have. They charged me for the two sizes that I ordered, even though they were out of one size and only sent one dress. I called to straighten ths out and was left on hold for over 40 minutes. I am done with Avenue.
Desired outcome: Company fix their wesote: Correct price, realtime inventory, customer service by phone with no more than a 5 minute wait. If they can not do those things, then my desired outcome is Avenue goes out of business.
Returned items december 2020 waiting on refund
Return 2 coats late December 2020. Called the beginning of January 2021 to check status of return. Was told package was still in transit and almost to return location. Called the next week and was told package was lost in transit, but I will still be receiving a refund I should be getting a email within a couple of days. A week later I'm told its being escalated. Called today 1/26/2021 and was told I have to wait 3 more weeks for my refund. Can't speak to a manager no one answers emails. They owe me $126.00 and I need my money. I dont understand why it take so long to process my refund when you can take my order and money swiftly. I will never ever shop with the Avenue again.

Winter jacket
Purchased winter jacket early November 2020. Left arm was sewn together. Could not get my arm through. Called November 13th. Waited 42 minutes for someone to answer. Was told by Alejandra that because it was a faulty item, I would not have to wait the typical 6 weeks for my return of item. Two weeks b4 Christmas spoke with a gentleman. Again waited an extremely long wait for someone to pickup call. Alejandra had failed to put through the replacement. I would get new jacket b4 Christmas or a little after. Called a third time, January 12tb. This fine time got through fairly quickly. Rebecca apologized, but replacement was never ordered. No reason why I never got the item nor a refund. Just an apology and that I would get a refund asap. If I hadn't called a third time. They would just kept my money and no jacket. The worst service. At a time when businesses are strongly working hard to keep the business they do have, Avenue just does not care about good customer service.

Order never received
I had placed an order for a pair of boots at www.avenue.com November 29th, a Christmas present for my best friend. today is December 25th and I never received my order. When I reach out to their customer service, via Facebook messenger im told by Mikayla, the responder, that there was a technical error. But they took my $ just fine, no tech error there. All I get are excuses! I want to know when they will ship my order. This is nuts.

I ordered a pair of boots and coat on November 17, 2020. I never received my order and tried calling the customer service number several times for weeks and I haven't been able to talk to anyone about my order. The number is always busy. I have sent an email also and they never responded. This is very poor customer service and I will never shop with this customer again.
pricing incorrect online
I called the customer service number because when I went to order online on Saturday the shoes were on sale for 17.99 and they showed 34.99 at checkout. Something must have been going on with the online pricing. When I called the customer service the rep told me it was nothing that they could do and o would have to pay the price it is today which is still on sale. I'm just upset because it wasn't my fault that they finally fixed there website as of today to show the actual sale price at the end of check out. At this point it's the principal of it all and I will never shop here every again not even for my bras and I will tell my husband not to shop here either and he usually spends a heck of a lot of money in this store every Christmas for me. I just recently got a credit card from here and that one little thing made me not ever want to shop here again or they couldn't even honor that one little thing then, I don't even want to deal with them ever again. Great customer service is key they knew there systems weren't correct but why should the customer have to suffer for it. Your website should be on point all the time. That was a bad glitch that shouldn't of happened and if it does own up to the glitch and give great customer service.
return policy
I purchased pants 7/29/19 at full price. The receipt clearly states returns/exchanges are gladly excepted within 60 days of original date of purchase. On 8/29/19 I return to find out the stores are closing and I cannot exchange my pants. I didn't ask for money back which should be granted because I purchased before this company decided to close it's store...

I prefer to stay anonymous, I am a employee with Avenue district 47 the district manager something isn't right about her . Never have I felt belittle I know we aren't supposed to discuss our pay with other associates but honestly people talk and the pay that she gives black associates compared to white isn't right . I'm just saying this isn't right and justice will win in the end. She's a racist and it's probably something you should definitely look into
chloe love story perfume
Hello, I purchased your product off Groupon and it arrived defective. It did not have a sprayer! I purchased this for an event that I had coming up so I had to go and repurchase this perfume at a different store. I would like a full refund, I can return your defective product. Thank you. I spent twice the money that I originally wanted to and now I am stuck with all this perfume. I do not wish to keep the defective bottle. It also smells differently than the one I purchased from the mall. Is it possible that it is expired as well?

I was at the Avenue in Torrance California off of 190th in Anza when a store employee Had to look me up so she need at the phone She asked another employee E who was on the phone if she could use it and the employee who was on the phone I believe her name is Ellen Was very rude came and threw the phone as I was there and told the girl that was helping me you should have got the phone yourself this was very unprofessional for her to be throwing a phone at 1 of her coworkers well I am standing there It was a very Unprofessional and I don't think I wanna be there or go shopping there if that employee is working on that day

Purchased several outfits online and never recieved them. They could not tell me where my Items were. Customer service is horrrible. They are lazy at best !
Charged me for items I never recieved. Once I spoke to corporate, they assumed no responsibility. I found out they shipped them to a store ( when I wanted them shipped to my home). I go to the store and the did not give me my items. I feel totally mistreated. I have canceled my card with them and will not order again. I will never recommend this store on line or physical buildings.
online sales - advertise free shipping, then charge for shipping
I made an international purchase to Canada on September 30. Website advertised free shipping on orders to Canada over $170. My purchase was over $190. I expected the site to correct the shipping charge ($51.40) before sale was completed. The correction was never made and the sale was completed including the shipping charge. I immediately contacted the company via email to request the refund of the shipping charge, or the cancellation of my order. I phoned the customer service line on October 2. I was advised that my concern had been forwarded for follow-up and I should hear back with some resolution in 7-10 business days. I have sent emails on October 8 and October 24. The only response I have received is that I shoul hear back within 7-10 or 10-15 business days, and that the delay is due to a "systems update". I received the order that I asked to cancelled in mid October. Avenue has done nothing to address their false advertising and resulting fraudulent sale in 23 business days.

Ordered some things on line. Picked them up in store. When I checked the items, one of the items was too big. Tried to return it while I was there. The girl that was helping me at first was nice. Then the manager came out from the back room. And started smarting off. That I need to send them back, that she was not returning them. Then started about some items I was purchasing off the clearance rack. That they were final sale. I asked where it said final sale. And she said I don't have to post it, it's final sale because I said so. The. Young girl that was helping at first apologized as we were leaving the store. Won't shop there again. unethical practices
I purchased several items online and the DAY after I received both orders (they were shipped separately), I had to return most of the items because they did not fit. I went to the store in Centereach NY to do the return. I absolutely LOVED 3 of the tops I bought, but they were just too big and I didn't think I could shrink them to fit me. Online, I paid $10 EACH for them, for a total of $30. After I got my refund, I decided to shop and found ONE of the same tops I just returned; mind you, I had NOT EVEN LEFT THE STORE YET after having returned items! When I got to the register, I was told this top scanned at $20. I told her I JUST RETURNED 3 of these for $10 each! How can you now charge me $20? It was the SAME EXACT TOP! She replied, "I'm sorry, but this store policy, not mine!" I was FUMING! SO...check it out: I paid a total of $30 ONLINE for the same 3 tops (different colors), and they PLACED THEM BACK ON THE RACK at $20 a piece: DOUBLE THE PRICE I PAID FOR THEM ONLINE. She told me they were "on sale with 25% off." I DID buy the shirt--for 5 dollars MORE than I spent a week before! I told her that this company is filled with scam artists. I left, and I won't be returning. NOT EVER! And I used to order a heck of a lot from them. I know where I'm shopping from here on in and it WILL NOT be at Avenue!
shoes/customer service
On July 20th I purchased a pair of black Mae sandals, I wore them twice and the strap broke from the front. I paid $25.00 for these, I should have been able to wear them more than twice for them to have broken already. No biggie..I bought a new pair yesterday August 10th, wore them the same night and surprise..same thing happened..the first time I wore them! At that point I knew it was the way the shoes were made. I had both receipts and took the shoes back to the store I purchased them from today August 11th and they refused to refund both pairs because the first pair showed "signs of wear" after I had already told her I wore them and the second time I wore them they broke. If I bought 2 pairs of the same shoes and both of them broke there is a problem with how they are made. I should be able to get my money back because this isnt a return because I "changed my mind" I returned them because they broke. I understand that there is a policy on returning items but if you are at fault for why I'm returning them..then you should take the loss not me. I will never shop at avenue again and I will make sure everyone I know who shops there knows this too.
return scam - refused refund
On April 5, 2017, I contacted Avenue because I had mailed a return to them but didn’t get notice of delivery. Upon asking, they confirmed that the return arrived at the warehouse but hadn’t been processed yet. They told me to wait a few weeks and call back if I didn’t hear anything. I waited a full month and called back on May 5, 2017. I was floored when they told me they would not be giving me a refund because my order “didn’t meet return criteria.” When I asked why, they said they had photos from the warehouse showing that all five pairs of black dress pants were “visibly dirty” and had “animal hair” all over them. ALL 5 pair! I asked to see the photos and was told that isn’t possible due to their security policies. When I asked her to describe this “dirt, ” she said she could see smudges and smears in the photo. Those clothes were returned with tags still on and totally unworn. Three pair weren’t even tried on because they were the wrong sizes! And there are no animals in our household! So I knew it NONE of this was true so I pushed the point. They were adamant and said I had two choices: 1. Donate the clothes to charity or 2. Pay $8.96 to have them returned to me. I instantly chose having them returned to me- because I told them I would need to see this “dirt” for myself.
I have a video of me opening the package once it arrived in the mail and, sure enough, ALL 5 PAIR are in pristine, new, still creased, visibly clean, no pet hair condition. Video is attached.
After I got off the phone on April 5, I googled their name and discovered several sites with pages & pages of complaints—practically ALL of them about their absurd return policy and most used the word SCAM to describe how they blatantly tell people the clothes arrived “dirty” or “worn” or “covered in pet hair.” It’s unbelieveable. They are hard to find on the BBB site but once you do, there are MANY complaints about this ongoing return scam.
I want a full refund as requested. But, more importantly, I wish we could bring this company to the attention of some agency that could put a stop to what they are doing. They are blatantly refusing refunds to hundreds and hundreds of customers- customers who feel they have no way to fight them.

Literally, the most rude and passive aggressive employees I have ever dealt with! They treated my mother with such disrespect when she tried to return an item that she bought online. When I called in the employee I spoke with was rude and disrespectful. They weren't helpful nor willing to work with me. I will make a point to let everyone I come in contact with that Avenue isn't the store they should be shopping at!
no refund!
I have ordered a shirt from www.avenue.com and the one arrived was way too small so I contacted customer service and asked for a refund. Later they sent me a return label and I shipped the shirt back.
About two weeks later someone from Avenue finally contacted me and said they received the shirt and promised I'll get my money back within few days. Two days passed and I contacted Avenue about my refund and they said that I will be given a credit store instead of refund. I demanded some explanation but they did not reply! I'm so disappointed with this store!
stolen identity
I started receiving magazines in September, that I never signed up for. I called People magazine and discovered that a Avenue store apparently signed me up and also stole my credit card information, which then proceeded to set up fraudulent charges on my other credit cards. DO NOT SHOP IN AVENUE, they will rob you and steal your identity.
When calling customer service, they tell you they can do nothing and place you on hold indefinitely.
