I'm a 70 year old physician and very familiar with custom made suits. This was not a custom made sport coat, just a 39L garment that wasn’t even made to their own 39L measurements stated on their web site, much less to my specifications.

They refuse to take the garment back and trade it for another, even if I pay all the shipping costs.

At this point I just want to get a refund. Stay away from this company, poor quality and horrible customer service.

Do not use this company for anything.

I went with this site as a quick look online showed good reviews, since receiving my suit i have looked deeper and i think a lot of reviews are falsified as when you go to forums etc you find a lot of people saying the same thing as i experienced.

The overall fit of the suit is awful! It has been made to measurement but because they do not ask for enough measurements it looks like it was crafted by a 7 year old. The "tailor" must not have any experience at all as when you look at the product you would ask yourself "How does this fit someone? How are they shaped like this?"

I emailed support, they offer a lousy IN STORE credit to cover alterations by others. The $50 isnt going to cover the fuel and parking to go to another tailor but this suit is beyond fixable. My remaining order i have told them just to refund. They agreed but since than no refund has been issued.

The tailor i have taken the suit too has told me it is terrible quality, i am currently getting this in writing to put a request into my credit card provider for a refund.

Sorry for the caps-lock, there. Just wanted to impact the important info, before getting into this long review.

I ordered this suit for my wedding, and was very excited based on the photo. I've had many suits built for me, in my line of work, and I have never had any issues, beyond simple adjustments to the waist and whatnot. I understand that bespoke suits might need small adjustments, but this suit is kind of hilarious in how poorly built it is. I would assume I had made a huge mistake in my measurements, if I hadn't had them professionally taken and had a suit perfectly built for me from those same measurements. I’m very sad to say this is one of the worst suits I've ever worn, let alone had custom made. The workmanship is horrendous and the return policy/guarantee/customer service was equally disappointing.

The workmanship:

- One arm is 1/2 an inch shorter than the other arm (which was not in the measurements I sent of course)

- The lapel of the suit is floppy and without any structure. I’ve never heard of a suit not having a structured mesh or something inside the lapel to keep it structured and firm.

- The back collar of the suit is unevenly finished, revealing the dark backing of the collar. (Picture attached)

- The pants are baggy and puffy in the crotch and not all to measurement.

- The buttons on the front of the jacket are in the wrong spots which cause the jacket to puff out at the chest.

- The back is not fitted at all, and essentially a square

I had to take this suit to a Tailor, who is essentially rebuilding the suit and said in his professional opinion this might be one of the worst finished suits he's had to work on. These alterations/rebuild will cost me $294 CAD, for a suit I paid $330 CAD to have custom made. The attached photo is of the poorly finished collar (the only photo I thought to take unfortunately).

When I wrote to StudioSuits, I was quoted their regular talking points about "maintaining multi-level quality-checking departments to ensure the thorough inspection of every garment before shipping to our valued customers" and that the suit was "processed according to the measurements you provided", which was very disappointing as it doesn't explain or take and responsibility for how bad this suit is.

I'll wager they will comment on this review with a similar defence of their "quality checks" and deferral of responsibility that it was "made to the measurements you provided". Again, if I hadn't had them professionally taken as well as had suits made very nicely from those same measurements, I would assume I'd provided the wrong numbers somehow.

In the end, they were "pleased" to offer me a $75 gift certificate for alteration *credit*, which I can redeem in a future order. Obviously this is no consolation, considering I will never be using this company again and highly advise against others using it. You will very likely have to pay the same in tailoring as you paid this company to make the suit.

Do yourself a favor and explore the plethora of other bespoke suit companies, online, especially one with a better guarantee of their work. The company starting with "Indo" has an amazing satisfaction guarantee. I regret trying somewhere else.

Sorry to say I made the mistake of ordering from Studiosuits. I wish I would have read reviews before I ordered. All my pants are 32" and my suit coats are 40L, so that's what I ordered. I can't even begin to zip my pants, and the sleeves of the coat are so tight I can't bend my arms. I have been emailing them for 2 weeks, and they just keep delaying asking for photos and videos and explaining that every manufacturer uses different sizes. All they will offer is $75 credit on a $300+ order. At this point I don't want to reorder because I don't trust them at all.

I ordered a corduroy blazer. The tailoring was incompetent and the material was cheap. The entire jacket is a wrinkled mess that will not self-straighten at all because the corduroy is so thin. It was fuzzy and worn in spots as well. I didn’t bother ordering a replacement because the material is so cheap it wouldn’t matter. I would never wear it.

Inside my shipping box was a note saying my jacket was inspected before shipping. If true, then shoddy workmanship is acceptable. My jacket had one sleeve folded over and sewn with excess material poking out. The jacket was too short. They left out customizations and still charged for it. It was too tight at the shoulder blades and boxy at the pits. So, the person who sewed my blazer didn’t care and neither did the inspector. The poor workmanship on this jacket proves that whoever sewed this jacket had no idea what they were doing.

Studio suits did not publish my detailed 1 star review. What does that tell you?

StudioSuits is Mickey Mouse in all respects. They want your money - that is all.

Do not buy from here! We bought 2 suits on the same order for two different people. Same person measured both people. One suit fits fine. The other suit coat is so tight it can't be worn. Response from customer service was "oh well!". Td me they'd give me a $50 gift certificate to co.pensate me for the altering I now need to pay for. Well a $50 gift certificate to Studio Sujts sure won't pay for my alteration at a local seamstress. $300 for theses suits is way overpriced, especially given our experience. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere.

This suit is a disaster! I was so excited to receive my Thomas Shelby Gray Tweed Suit from Studiosuits, but when I opened the package, I was shocked to see that nothing was symmetrical. I mean, seriously, take a look at the pictures I've included. It's a mess!

I ordered a custom suit with very specific measurements. I triple-checked everything with three different tailors to make sure I got it right. I even filled out all the fields on the custom ordering part of the website with precise measurements. I have screenshots of everything, and some of the measurements are even listed on my receipts. But when I received the suit in the mail, I was devastated to see that 50% of the measurements were completely wrong! Some were off by as little as .25 of an inch, while others were off by over three inches! This is unacceptable!

I tried to resolve the issue with the company, but they were not helpful at all. They kept telling me that these are custom hand-made garments and that they use more hand-made techniques, so there may be some differences. But nowhere on their website does it say that! I even took screenshots to prove it. They were not willing to rectify the situation and only offered me $25 for tailoring, which is not even close to covering the cost of fixing this mess. I have all the emails saved, and it's clear that they don't care about their customers.

I'm so disappointed with Studiosuits. The suit I ordered and the one I received are not even close to being the same. It's completely unusable, and they are refusing to do anything about it. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

I recently purchased a custom suit from Studiosuits for my upcoming wedding. The customer service team reached out to me and suggested that I purchase a trial suit to ensure that the measurements were correct. I was happy to do so, even though it was non-refundable and cost $100. I informed them that the suit was for my wedding and that my groomsmen would also be purchasing suits from them.

I followed the measurement instructions as accurately as possible, but when the trial suit arrived, it was smaller than expected. I sent updated measurements and my suit was eventually delivered after about three months of intermittent communication with customer service. However, when I went to purchase matching jackets for my groomsmen, I was informed that the material had been discontinued and the suit was no longer available.

I was disappointed that customer service did not warn me about the low supplies or prompt me to check the supplies for the group before constructing the suit. I had invested over $800 into a suit that I could not use for my wedding. Unfortunately, their refund/return policy is non-negotiable and they did not accept any responsibility for the situation. Their only suggestion was for me to purchase a new suit for myself and my groomsmen in a single order, without offering any discounts or expedited services.

Although the suit I received was of nice quality, I cannot use it for my wedding. I am giving a one-star review because the measurement instructions were not helpful, their refund policy is non-compromising for special circumstances, and customer service can take days to respond. I am surprised to see so many positive reviews for customer satisfaction, as my experience was not satisfactory.

The quality of the fabric of my suit was absolutely stunning as well. I ordered the Roman light pink linen, and I was blown away by the beautiful texture and feel of the material. Despite the high quality and craftsmanship of the suit, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the cost was quite reasonable. In fact, I'm confident that I would have paid three times the price at a traditional retail store for a suit of this quality and build.

I recently ordered a tweed overcoat from StudioSuits and while the delivery was prompt and the coat was made according to my measurements, unfortunately, that's where the positive aspects of my experience ended. I must admit, the lesson I learned with this purchase is that you really do get what you pay for, something that potential customers of Studio Suits should take into consideration.

I cannot help but notice that the coat looks very cheap and that it hangs in a shapeless and baggy manner on my body. I believe the lack of tailored shape is a result of the quality of the cloth. Although it is labelled and described as Donegal Tweed, it has none of the rich texture you would expect from this material. It's quite thin, to be honest.

Furthermore, the lighter orange flecking in the brown that caught my attention in the StudioSuits advertising turned out to be much less vibrant in reality. The overall impression is a rather dull, thin, and shapeless brown coat, which my wife described as a janitor's coat – and I can't say I disagree.

Having said that, I will still wear the coat since I don't have any grounds to return it, but it definitely doesn't meet the high standards I was hoping for. This experience has taught me that you do get what you pay for and, based on that, I can't say I would necessarily recommend StudioSuits.

I am deeply disappointed in the service and product I received from Studiosuits. I have always been a positive reviewer and it pains me to have to leave a negative review, but in this case, it is necessary. There were many issues with my order that left me feeling incredibly unsatisfied. Firstly, the blazer was far too big around the waist. We measured it and it was off by eight inches which is a significant error. Additionally, the sleeves were not slim fit as promised - in fact, they were quite roomy despite me having big arms. Furthermore, the coat was three inches too long and the sleeves were two and a half inches too short. To compound the problems, the color of the suit was completely off. Rather than the plain grey I had ordered, I received a suit in a charcoal or Glasgow grey which was far too dark for my liking.

My disappointment only deepened when I reached out for assistance from customer service. Instead of helpful solutions, I was essentially told that it was all my own fault that the suit did not match what I had been promised. As someone who wears suits daily, I was truly hoping to become a long-term customer of Studiosuits. As an avid James Bond fan, I was thrilled to hear that the iconic corduroy Massimo D'Alba Sloop suit as worn by Daniel Craig in the early scenes of the latest Bond film, "No Time To Die," was available for purchase. But, being the practical person that I am, I couldn't justify spending almost ?1000 for an outfit, no matter how stylish and suave it looked.

That's where Studio Suits saved the day. Their website was easy to navigate, and I was pleased to find almost all of the options I was looking for, including natural shoulders, horn buttons, and a ticket pocket. I opted for a mix of measurement taken from my own body and garments that fit comfortably and looked similar to what I wanted.

When my shipment arrived in just under three weeks, I was pleasantly surprised by how well packaged everything was, and the quality of the finished garments. The jacket was expertly made, incorporating wider lapels and functioning cuffs. Although a little boxy for my liking, it can easily be altered to fit perfectly. The pick stitch on the jacket is even more incredible in person than it was on the website. However, I was a bit disappointed to see that the trouser bottoms had been finished like jeans, without any material left to let down if needed due to shortness. Perhaps it's because of the corduroy material utilized, but it was unexpected.

Overall, I'm delighted with my purchase and will certainly be ordering from Studio Suits again. While communication could have been a tad bit more consistent throughout the process, the final product more than makes up for it. I had high expectations when I placed my order for a coat from Studiosuits.com in March, but my experience with this company left me feeling extremely disappointed. The price of the coat was steep at ?185, but the photo on the website caught my attention, and I felt that this was exactly the coat I was looking for. Unfortunately, after waiting for four months to receive my order, I was extremely let down by what I received.

Firstly, one of the measurements that they asked for did not apply to the coat that I was ordering, so I left a note on my order. I requested that they contact me before making my item, but I never heard from them. When the coat finally arrived, it looked and felt like a long jacket rather than a coat. The back half-belt was placed under my bum, which was bizarre. The front pockets were in the wrong place and way too low. The buttons were placed around my pelvis instead of the chest, and the general styling of the coat was poorly executed.

On the website, the coat had a retro/classic design with wide, peaked lapels. However, the coat I received did not have the same lapels, which was a significant letdown. I recently purchased a suit from Studiosuits and unfortunately, I had a less than desirable experience. My suit was made and shipped from India, and upon arrival, I was hit with an unexpected customs fee. The value declared for customs was only $45, which I later discovered was far less than I actually paid for my jacket. This seemed like an unfair profit margin to me.

While I understand that customs fees are a part of this type of transaction, I was even more frustrated to learn that DHL, the shipping company used by Studiosuits, had added their own charges to the customs fee. Ultimately, the fees from DHL were over three times the cost of the actual customs fee!

As the recipient of the package, I decided not to pay these added fees as I felt they were not justified. However, this led to a long and frustrating process with their customer service team. I found their customer service to be quite unhelpful, with auto-generated emails being the norm. It felt like I was constantly starting from scratch and trying to explain my situation, without any progress. Additionally, I found their scripted responses to be meaningless and did not address my issues.

In the end, I did eventually find someone who seemed to take my issue seriously, but it took several attempts and a few days before I got any update. Unfortunately, the lack of communication and response from the customer service team was a major downside to my experience with Studio Suits.

Overall, I think Studiosuits could do better in terms of their customer service and shipping processes. I had high hopes for the suit itself, and while the fit was great, the whole process left a sour taste in my mouth. I would only give Studiosuits two stars and would hesitate to order from them again.

I recently had a very frustrating experience with StudioSuits. I ordered a custom suit on July 26th for my wedding on September 12th, with plenty of time to spare for production and shipping. However, after a few weeks of no updates on my account page and no communication from the company, I reached out to inquire about the delay.

To my surprise, StudioSuits informed me that they had sent an email to my junk folder requesting that I purchase an additional suit for $99 to ensure that my measurements were correct. This seemed like an unnecessary step, especially since it would only prolong the production and shipping process. What's worse, nowhere in the email did it state that my order would not begin production until I responded to this offer.

Upon further investigation, I discovered that my entire suit's delivery was contingent on this one email, which is unacceptable. Moreover, the company's communication was very vague, and they did not make it clear how delayed my order was. They told me the suit was "into production" and that they had contacted their factory, but when I reached out again, they told me they had just ordered the fabric from Italy.

This delay, combined with the fact that my entire order was contingent on an email that ended up in my junk folder, was unacceptable. Thankfully, StudioSuits did offer a refund, but it was still a frustrating and disappointing experience overall.

If I hadn't reached out, I wonder if my suit would have ever been delivered, which is a concerning thought. It's disappointing that a company that specializes in custom suits can't manage their production and communication better. As a result, I now need to find a new suit that fits my needs within three weeks, during COVID-19, which is a challenging task.

In summary, I cannot recommend StudioSuits based on my experience. Their communication and production processes need significant improvement to provide a better customer experience.

I recently purchased a pea coat from Studiosuits and unfortunately, the specific measurements I provided didn't quite work for me. The coat ended up being too short and fitting awkwardly in the chest. Despite following all the instructions and even measuring coats of my own, the fit still didn't work out.

As a customer who recently ordered a Chino suit for my husband from Studiosuits, I must say that I was disappointed with my purchase. Upon receiving the product, I noticed that the suit looked nothing like the advertisement photo. The Jacket and Pant were mismatched in tone, which was not what I was expecting. Additionally, the Pant hem was poorly done, and the sleeves were longer than they should be.

I reached out to the company via email to raise my concerns and requested them to send a return shipping label to allow me to return the suit for a proper remake. Despite their promise to get back to me, they failed to do so for almost ten days even after sending them ten different photos of the suit in various lighting conditions as they had requested. I was feeling frustrated and aggrieved about their lack of commitment to addressing my concerns.

Fortunately, I had used PayPal to make my purchase, and I decided to seek their assistance in resolving the issue since the company was not willing to honor their policy or respond to my emails. Thanks to PayPal, I have since been issued with a refund, although the cost of shipping the suit back almost matches its price!

It seems they do not accept returns or honor their "guaranteed fit" remake policy, and that is quite bewildering. When I first stumbled upon Studiosuits and their website, I was very excited about the opportunity to create a tailor-made jacket that would fit me perfectly. However, after placing my order for 2 jackets, I quickly noticed that there were a number of issues that needed to be addressed. While the jackets were beautiful, the arm holes were unfortunately too small, and I also needed the waist let out. Additionally, I had requested that my monogram be in cursive, but unfortunately, it was not.

Despite these issues, I was still willing to give Studiosuits another chance, and I placed a second order. This time, I made sure to be very clear in my instructions, but much to my disappointment, once again none of my requests were followed. I received two standard jackets, with no alterations made whatsoever. When I reached out to their customer service team, I was met with what appeared to be a professional response, but they claimed that my instructions had been followed, which couldn't have been further from the truth.

In the end, I had to pay an additional tailor to make the necessary adjustments to my jackets, which really defeats the purpose of ordering made-to-measure garments online in the first place. To add insult to injury, when I measured my jackets, it was clear that no alterations had been made at all. I'm incredibly disappointed in the blatant dishonesty of Studiosuits, and unfortunately, I won't be returning to them for further orders. I am a frequent orderer of clothes but, in this instance, Studiosuits has lost a customer for life.

As someone who wanted a special Halloween costume, I decided to order a corduroy 2-piece off-the-rack suit from Studiosuits. Although I originally had plans to purchase a fancier and more expensive suit, I opted for this option because it offered the earliest shipping date, and I must say that I wasn't disappointed! The suit arrived right on time, and the packaging was quite impressive. I loved the color of the suit, and I even got it tailored to fit me better, hoping that I'd also be able to wear it more than once.

However, there were a few issues with the quality of the suit. The construction is somewhat flimsy, and the stitching in the pocket gave out on the first day. Hence, it's clear that the suit is not made to last. I'd hesitate to recommend this suit for someone if they're looking for something of high quality. However, if you're willing to invest more money, then it might be worthwhile to consider purchasing a high-quality suit custom-made by a master tailor, or to look for something from a reputable brand such as Indochino or J Crew.

When it comes to Studiosuits, I have mixed feelings about my recent purchase. I recently had a less than satisfactory experience with Studiosuits (studiosuits.com). Unfortunately, I cannot give them a high rating, and if I could give them a zero, I would. The customer service I received was some of the worst I have ever encountered. I had ordered a waistcoat with tuxedo buttons, and had even confirmed with the company before and after my order to ensure that it would be made correctly. Even after an extra payment was required, I confirmed once more. However, when the waistcoat arrived, there were no tuxedo buttons to be found.

I immediately tried to contact customer service, but there was no phone number to call, making communication more difficult. After two weeks of emails and no solution, they informed me that the buttons could be found in the waistcoat pocket, and that it was my responsibility to have them added to the waistcoat. Unfortunately, the buttons were not present in the pockets.

At this point, I had lost hope in receiving any help from the company, and had no choice but to accept that this purchase was a loss. Studiosuits refused to offer any refund, repair, or even a suitable solution. I then decided to move on to another custom vendor for my waistcoat needs.

I suggest avoiding Studiosuits if possible. While they may be good if everything goes as requested, my experience was a complete nightmare. In the end, I lost two hundred dollars and received no help or support from Studiosuits.

Apart from that slight hiccup, I have nothing but praise for Studiosuits. With an impressive range of stylish outfits to choose from, I was spoilt for choice when selecting the perfect look for my birthday gathering. And boy, did they deliver! Within less than a week, my suit arrived and it was absolutely flawless. Quality was not compromised in the slightest and I was thrilled with how well it fit me.

While I do appreciate their efforts to ensure that I was happy with my order, I do think that multiple sizing charts would be an excellent addition to the website. This would make the ordering process a lot smoother for those who are not familiar with sizing conventions in other countries. For this reason, I knocked off one star from an otherwise perfect experience.

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with Studiosuits and will certainly be ordering from them again. Their commitment to quality and excellent customer service is truly remarkable. If you are looking for a stylish and well-fitting outfit for any occasion, I highly recommend checking them out!

While the delivery process was smooth and I received my jackets in a timely manner via DHL, I was caught off guard when I received an email from DHL informing me of additional charges for customs processing. I was required to pay a $5.00 CAD duty fee for the items I purchased, and an additional $19.00 CAD service charge for a DHL agent to process the transaction through customs.

I could not believe the additional "ransom fee" I was being charged for simply receiving my order. This was absolutely not fair and should never have been charged. While the jackets themselves were of good quality and fit well, the additional charges were a turn-off for me and left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of.

Moreover, I was disappointed that Studiosuits.com did not make it clear that additional charges could apply when delivering to Canada. Customers should be made aware of any additional fees prior to purchasing items, so as to avoid surprises later. This lack of transparency was disheartening and made me feel like I couldn't trust this company.

Overall, I do not think I will be using Studiosuits.com again. The additional fees charged by DHL, combined with the lack of transparency from Studiosuits.com, has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. While the jackets were good quality and fit well, the additional charges and lack of transparency are simply not worth it.

The Vintage Rope Weave Black Tweed Suit from Studiosuits has not lived up to our expectations. We had hoped to receive a high-quality suit that resembled the picture on the website, but unfortunately, the material was quite shoddy and did not live up to the tweed standard. In fact, we noticed many pulled threads on the suit, which is concerning, as they will only continue to worsen with each wear.

We reached out to the Studiosuits staff to inquire about a replacement for this disappointing suit, but were met with an unsatisfactory response. Rather than offering a solution that would involve a better quality suit, we were advised to simply cut the pulled threads. This solution was far from satisfactory, as we did not want to wear a subpar suit that would easily fray and fall apart.

We then suggested that we could return the suit for credit and pay for a better quality suit instead, but were met with the same response to cut the threads. This lack of customer care was disheartening, as we expected more from a company that claims to offer high-quality, custom-made suits. It is clear to us that the folks at Studiosuits either lack taste, or are not willing to take the necessary steps to keep their customers satisfied. We hope that they will consider more reasonable solutions in the future, so that we can continue to support their business with confidence.

If you are thinking about purchasing from Studiosuits, I would suggest taking a few precautions. Personally, my experience with them was less than satisfactory.
