On Dec 22, 2022, I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. At the time of contract signing, a service contract was included in the transaction and charged $2471.00 to me. On February 6, 2023, I informed the company, Warrantech, that per the conditions of the agreement, I could cancel and be reimbursed if done within 60 days of purchase. I was well within that window to cancel. I contacted Autohaus and informed them that I was cancelling the contract; I was told by Warrantech that the monies would be sent back to the dealership. After many phone calls and voicemails, Mr Shawn Zohaib told me the money hadn't reached him as of March 15, 2023 (approx). Today, I called again and left a voicemail, as it's very problematic to have my calls answered from this dealership, and informed him I would be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division as well as the DHSMV, and the BBB. I feel because I am an elderly (73) year old woman, I am being treated deceptively and unfairly by this company. I am on a fixed income and need my money returned to cover costs of repairs needed on my vehicle in question. I would appreciate any help or assistance your office can provide to resolve this issue.
