My husband and I received dentures from Aspen Dental Plant City. We were advised to have implants for our lower dentures. I received nerve damage from my surgery. My husband has had nothing but problems with his dentures. He received his dentures approximately 1/15/2020. Since then, his upper denture has broken three times, 11/2023, 12/2023 and 4/2024. The doctor told my husband it's due to the implants (that was recommended by the doctor). My upper denture was repaired once at the office in Lakeland. My lower denture is cracked at the implant area. The doctor in Lakeland did not want to repair it because it was at the implant. The Plant City office gave my husband a quote for $1672.50 for a new denture. This is wrong. We should not have to pay due to bad workmanship. This is either a design flaw or bad material. I understand the dentures have a seven-year warranty, but this is ridiculous. What happens when the warranty runs out? My last dentures lasted 12 years and they only cost $680.00. I feel Aspen should remake my husband's upper denture. Perhaps the mold was not made correctly the first time.
Claimed loss: 1,672.50
Desired outcome: New upper denture.
