I've seen this kind of thing happen a lot with appliance companies, especially ones that are run by Asian management. What they do is they put up these ads with really low prices that catch your eye, and then when you go ahead and give them your money, they just hold onto it for a couple of weeks. After that, they come back at you saying that the product you wanted is suddenly out of stock. And before you know it, they're pushing you to buy something that's a lot more expensive. It's pretty much the same old story you hear about with some of those sketchy used car dealerships.

Seriously, you should steer clear of this company. They're not playing fair, and they're definitely pulling a bait and switch on their customers. It's false advertising, plain and simple.

They really ought to be looked into by the authorities or something because it's not right what they're doing.

And get this, I've got a picture of an oven they're advertising at this super low price, but guess what? You can't actually buy it. They've got it listed even though they know full well that it's not even being made anymore. But there it is, still up on their site, just to lure people in.

I recently came across this website called America Best Appliance, and I gotta say, there's a bunch of things that just don't sit right with me. First off, the name of the site is missing an apostrophe – it should be America's Best Appliances, but that's just the start. They've got some financing options that are way out there, like something called Katapult? I've never even heard of them before, and I'm pretty sure most folks haven't either.

Then there's the issue with the lack of details on the appliances themselves. You know, stuff like voltage compatibility, energy consumption rates – the kind of things your handyman might need to know before installing anything. But this info isn't easy to find or it's just not there. They do have some in-home warranty options, but they're through a company called CPS, and I can't find much about them either. It all seems a bit shady to me.

They say they only ship within the US, which is fine, but the only familiar payment method they accept is PayPal. And there's this warning on PayPal's site about not sending money to people you don't know well, which makes me wonder about the safety of buying from this site.

The reviews are another thing. They've got this one five-star review from someone named 'Bon', but that's not exactly reassuring. Then they mention having 95 five-star reviews on Shopper Approved, but those reviews are super vague. They don't really talk about the actual shopping experience or mention any of the staff members who helped them out.

I tried to look up their showroom in the town they claim to be located in, and all I found was a Best Value inn, nothing about America's Best Appliances. Plus, the website's registration seems fishy – it apparently expired back in January 2022, on the 18th. That makes me think this site might not be around much longer. Worst case scenario, they could take your money, disappear, and you'd be left with nothing – no appliances, no contact, nothing.

So, my advice? Be super careful with this one. Maybe get someone you trust to take a closer look or just find a different place to buy your appliances. I wouldn't recommend this site; it just doesn't seem trustworthy at all.
