ABW Appliances is a good place to buy appliances. They have a wide selection and the staff is helpful. Sometimes their ads can be annoying, but overall they are a reliable company.

This place is a joke, I swear. I wouldn't even give it a star, but I gotta click something to post this review. I ordered something in February and it's still not done! Does anyone even know who runs this place?

Had Brian C come to fix our dryer that was having issues. He was great! Showed up on time, knew what was wrong, and explained it to us. He had to climb on top of the dryer which is in a small closet to fix it but went above and beyond to try and make sure he could get everything done in one trip and not have to come back with an extra person to help. He was friendly and worked quickly. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is having issues with their washer/dryer.

This place is a bit of a mess! Last time I had an appointment from 11am - 4pm, but they didn't show up until almost 5pm. My dishwasher was busted, so I was pretty annoyed. Today, they were supposed to come between 9am - 12pm, but I got a text saying I was the 3rd delivery. I've tried emailing, calling, and texting, but they never get back to me. I had to cancel a work event at 12:30 because I can't keep waiting around for them to show up. If you have all day to wait and don't mind the lack of communication, then go for it.

We got a Bosch fridge from ABW and it stopped working 10 months after we got it. It's been 2 months since it broke and it's still there. ABW said Bosch didn't want to change it and ordered parts to fix it. The parts took a few weeks to come. Technicians tried to fix it but it didn't work. Getting ABW to do the right thing and change the fridge has been hard and we've had trouble communicating. I wouldn't tell anyone to use this company. We spent $3,500 on a Bosch fridge and less than a year later it looks like we'll have to write it off and get a new one. We won't use ABW again. Be careful.

ABW was a bad experience for us. They ruined our kitchen and our home. I suggest you avoid them for the following reasons: we had a broken dishwasher and despite their expensive service, we trusted them because of their good reviews. The technician did a bad job and forgot to check the water connections. We ran the dishwasher and the next day, the kitchen and hardwood floor were wet. There was a big leak that caused water damage. We called them and their service rep said, "Oh man! That sucks!" He didn't give us any instructions on what to do. We googled it and dried the water as much as possible. A few days later, mold started growing and there was a disgusting smell. We called them again and they said mold removal wasn't their job. We called a mold removing company and they helped us. They had to tear up the drywall to get the air flow in. Now that most of the moisture is gone, we need to fix the drywall, cabinets, and hardwood floor. We called the "Client Advocate Manager" and he told us to get a quote and send it to him. It took a week to get a quote and he didn't answer his phone. Two days later, he emailed us and said they would send a contractor to fix it. It's been three weeks and our kitchen is still destroyed. Please stay away from ABW!

I got my kitchen remodeled and ABW put in 4 new appliances. They took out the old fridge but didn't clear the water line and water leaked into my ceiling. I asked them to fix it but they haven't done anything. The install for my downdraft was also a problem. It took a lot of phone calls to get it scheduled and the installers had trouble getting it in even though the opening was the right size. They fixed the install but I asked for a discount and they haven't given me one. I emailed them twice but they just say someone will call me back and no one does.

Me and my wife told the boss we don't wanna buy and want our money back. The guy who sold us said we'd get our stuff in 10 days, but that was a lie. They said it would come in February . They took our money right away, but when we asked for it back, they're taking forever. The company is taking way too long to give us our money back on our credit card. We told the boss and he said he'd call us back in 24 hours, but it's been over a week and he hasn't. We left him a message, but he hasn't called us back. It's not cool that they can't give us our money back fast.

We bought a fridge from ABW Appliances Clearance outlet in Kensington, MD. It came on January 9th, 2022, but it wasn't working right. The freezer and cold storage drawers were okay, but the main part of the fridge wasn't. ABW sent technicians to our house 6 times to check it out, but each time they didn't seem to know what was going on. One guy said it needed a new control panel, but the next guy said it needed a sensor that wasn't even for this fridge. It's been 5 months and we still don't have a working fridge for our family of four. We've been waiting a reasonable amount of time for them to fix it, but they haven't. Also, the feet on the fridge are messed up and they were supposed to fix that too, but they haven't.

I bought a fridge from ABW Appliances on September 9th for $14,711.96. I had several phone calls and video conferences with their installation team to make sure I was getting a standalone fridge with stainless steel on all sides. However, when the fridge was delivered on September 17th, it had no stainless steel on the left and right sides and the lights inside didn't work. The installation team left without saying anything about it. I contacted Matthew S about the issues and he told me to use the fridge as is and that the issues would be resolved soon. I emailed him on September 22nd for an update but got no response. When I called on September 24th, a representative told me that this was a common error and that the lights would have to be repaired by a separate service company. ABW Service dept emailed me on September 30th stating that they are not an authorized service provider and gave me contact info for a service company. When I called the service company, they said that the fridge would have to be dismantled and a new light system installed, but they didn't have the parts in stock. I left messages with ABW over the next few weeks to find out how they were going to resolve the issue, but nobody called or emailed me back. I spoke to a lady on a final call in early October who said she would refer to a manager to call me back, but nobody did. On October 23rd, I received a voicemail stating that the parts were ready. I have paid in full for a product that was delivered with missing side panels and a defective interior light system. I want it removed from my house and all my money returned. I didn't pay over $14,000 to have a broken fridge delivered without side panels and then have to wait for someone to come fix it.

I bought my kitchen appliances from ABW when I was building my new home in Falls Church, VA. I got a fancy dual fuel free standing range, dual wall oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher. When I finally got to use the range and oven, I noticed some scratches and improper installation. I put it on the punch list with the builder and ABW came out to fix it. They ordered the wrong parts and were slow to respond to our inquiries. Eventually, they said the whole unit needed to be replaced and told me to deal with KitchenAid directly. I paid full price for new appliances and they didn't deliver. ABW and KitchenAid are now refusing to make good on the damage. It's not fair.
