On a thursday I reported with pics to walmart corporate that stacking 25lb bags of kitty litter 12 bags high was dangerously unstable and 300Lbs falling over could kill a child. I was told the matter would be adressed.
Friday 4pm I stopped back in and found a managers meeting at the now fixed pile of kitty litter and spoke with store managers.
Later at 10 pm I stopped in and found more safety stacking issues and took pics as I told corporate and the managers i would. I was told by security no photos and I told them I had spoken to corporate who asked for information on any safety issues I might find. We were then followed to our car by security but nothing more was said.
Saturday I stopped in and found 225lb stacked kitty litter and took a photo and after approchong the customer service desk and asking to have a manager look at the kitty litter stacking we left and as I sat in my car we were surrounded by police. I was searchedm and my car was searched and my girlfriend was questioned about "Drugs" and I was told that loss prevention had called The Union police saying I was taking photos of tools and had been banned fron the store the previous day and told not to return which had never happenned.
I am now looking for a Lawyer after being told by police that I would be arrested for trespassing if I returned to the Union NJ Walmart store. I even showed the police the photo of the dangerous pile I observed. Any Lawyer intrested in speaking with me can contact me at [protected]@yahoo.com

Just to Expand on my previous Posting and the responders:
WalMart was contacted at both the Local WalMart Store Management Level and the WalMart
Corporate Level Customer Service rep was concerned enough about their shoppers safety to provide
Me with information about and directed me to contact The WalMart District Manager for that store
which I have.

My only concern was in WalMarts uncoordinated effort to have someone who had just spoken with a
WalMart Store Customer Service Desk Member asking to speak again with The WalMart Store Manager
over this situation which been corrected and then re stacked in a 225Lb vertical stack without bags
being secured from cross-stacking each level and more evenly distributing the weight in a wider
footprint to lessen any potential danger to our neighbors immature children.

Never heard of a Stack Fall Issue?
These Parents will never forget theirs:
Abilene, TX, 1996 - A small child was killed when a wardrobe fell over at a Sam's Club.
Virginia Beach, VA, 1997 - A 2-year-old girl died of injuries received when a 100-pound
television set fell on her in a Wal-Mart.
Mount Laurel, NJ, 1997 - Boxes of vinyl siding fell at a Home Depot and struck 3-year-old Brandon
Ryan on the head. The chain agreed to pay his parents $500, 000.

As far as the uneducated simplification and comments related to a previously considered action on
12 counts of Malicious Prosecution against Those who have received multiple well documented
convictions for Harassment and Ordered to be supervised by the Probation Department for a year
along with Their having to submit to Court Ordered Psychiatric testing and any Ordered
Treatment I have to find it a bit disturbing that the focus is turned to the car I drive and a single sign.
I thought this board is here to report problems/safety issues which as you can see by the photos
I provided show a Reasonable and valid concern unrelated and not mentioned by me in trying to bring a valid safety
concern to the Attention of WalMart Before this becomes another Preventable Tragedy.

As far as Litigation against WalMart where a Manager really seemed to be concerned and asked that
he be made aware of any such issues and then the following day (I live near and always liked The
Union NJ WalMart Store, so sue me) it was the inappropriate reaction of WalMart Claiming that
while speaking to the Store Manager that previous day I was "Trespassed" out of the store and told
not to return by the Police which were not present the previous day and then while picking up a
couple items to have the Police called (I have the Call from WalMart to Union NJ Police where they
tell the dispatcher that the police "Trespassed" Me out of the store and I was back and took a
photo) even though it was only on my last visit that I was asked not to take any photos in the store
which their own security tapes will verify.

This isn't a case of who stole the Kishka, it comes down to being retaliated against for voicing
concern reasonably inside the store and has nothing to do with Heritage, net worth or My Stunning
Good Looks and Hot Girlfriend as we "Shop".

Seems that its easy to simplify and remark without all the facts about My Presence on line and by
giving my email and name I am showing that I stand by my comments and have no reason to hide
behind some anonymous screen name and spout half truths.

OSHA was contacted as part of the concerns over safety and not by me and they found the situation
to be a valid concern and contacted WalMart themselves directing that the situation be corrected.
So, My issue still is the retaliation against me for expressing a safety issue agreed to be valid by OSHA
who directed The Union WalMart store to fix the aforementioned stacks immediatly.

And for this I was Banned for Life? Why wouldn't I want to talk to an attourney?

I'm comfortable in what I presented here is sharing the truth and I give My Name without fearing the
Kitty Litter Lawyers coming and Litigating all my worldly posessions in order to kill the truth.
If I keep one child from injury then my Karma is set and it would take a much higer authority to prosecute that and they are busy with the Hebrew National Hotdog Quality of product.

Thank You for listening and voicing your concerns.

God Bless America!

This reminds me of when a local squirrel stacked his acorns too high in the oak tree in my backyard.

To danielinnj, the original poster of this thread,
Here´s one for you...We were at a Walmart some months ago and had watched the evening news before going over. Once there we were shopping and as things go we have to go to and fro to find things thereby passing the same people time and time again. It´s my husband´s method of shopping not mine, lol. We take turns pushing the cart while the other goes on search of an item alone. At the end of this trip we met at the front and my husband asked if I saw the man with all the kids and the one he kept calling ´peanut´. I asked if he saw them and when he did I said yep, that´s the one I saw that was calling this girl peanut. I asked if she looked like the one on the news that was abducted and he said she looked like her but was a bit older for sure. We went home to search the net for this missing girl´s pic. It was clearly the same girl so we returned to the Walmart to tell the manager so she could call the police about it. Oh, we can´t that it´s store policy. I said I´d call them but they´d need to look at the store tape so she should pull it and keep it safe for them. They are after all a 24 hr. store. We called the police and met them there but they couldn´t look at the tape without the store manager´s permission and she said she couldn´t give it according to store rules. The child´s life was in danger and she couldn´t allow an officer of the law to look at this tape? To top it all off she said she didn´t have access to the equipment that recorded store activity and they wouldn´t be available until the day shift! I asked her to call them but she said she couldn´t authorize that because they´d have to be paid for it. I asked her to call the person who could authorize this. She said she wasn´t willing to do that because she didn´t want to jeopardize her job for a report that might not prove to be right. The next day we called the police and they said they couldn´t find the girl on the tapes and that there was too much tape to look over anyway! Yes, you gotta love our local cops, worthless! The lives of missing and abducted children are in the hands of people like this. The Walmart manager said that security wasn´t on the premises after 6 p.m on any day. My husband said we weren´t shopping there anymore unless security was there because it wasn´t safe. He was being sarcastic to make a point with her because she said it out loud for all the customers to hear and the store was full of people. My husband made sure he said what he said loudly too! Then we left in disgust. We shop there only if we have to and do it before 6 pm.

behzadnazari, BBB, Better Business Bureau has proven not to be trusted in many instances. If Walmart complaints are all over the evening local news, national news, world news, etc then when can be expect them to sit up and pay attention? Never is my answer. The proof is right there for all of us to see. It does absolutely no good to complain about Walmart anymore because we´ve all done it for many many years and nothing has changed! It´s time to just quit shopping there!

Instead of a site called ´´The People of Walmart`` which shows people looking too goofy for words why not a site with pics of safety issues in Walmart with...each lawsuit they´ve lost because someone was hurt or killed by these same issues. It would seem that those who´ve posted here to say that this man has been stupid, a law-breaker, or worse should be working for Walmart...oh wait! You probably do! Anyone with common sense enough to spot this stacking problem as a safety issue should report it for those who either don´t care or aren´t aware that it is a safety issue. Not everyone notices, not everyone knows it´s a danger. My husband and I do home inspections and you would not believe the things we´ve seen where people are living. Now, if the house was being inspected as a new build they´d not let anyone occupy the place until the safety issue is fixed. Why allow Walmart to let people around things that are clearly safety issues? Think about this...if you were standing next to one of those piles of dogfood and didn´t see them shifting towards you would you be able to act fast enough to get out of the way? Probably not and it would cause you to either be jerked sideways or fall. Anyone, man, woman, child, disabled, slow, fast, or distracted...could be hurt by these things or killed in the instance of a small child. Should people have to keep all children under a certain height in shopping carts, what about adults who qualify as little people? Quit thinking about just yourselves for one moment and think of others too.

I agree with this man and have seen my own fair share of these stacking issues in local stores...in Ohio! It´s a safety and health issue! Standing or sitting, short or tall, a big bag of dog food hitting you from the side when you don´t expect it could lead to a serious injury. It´s just that simple. Yes, I´d have reported this if I´d seen it too but by the time I saw it in our local store there was a store manager, with a clerk and the customer who reported it to them, all there fixing this problem! It gets reported alot which means that the store managers aren´t always doing their jobs to protect the public! Any criminal lawyer would have a field day with this sort of willful neglect because you can literally see it in any Walmart store across the nation. It happens that much. Why is it nagging if you yourself see an accident waiting to happen in a short time. Things stacked like that don´t stay put for much longer than hours, especially when people stop to lean on them, bump into them with their carts, etc. So, yes he did a good thing. He did an even better thing by getting the evidence of it on camera. Anyone seen the site about the shoppers of Walmart? They aren´t going to stop anyone from taking pics in Walmart as long as cell phone with cameras are around. Why don´t we all start a site to show the dangers of Walmart such as the stacking issues to prove how prevalent it is. This should grab national media attention to force Walmart to safegard their customers.

All you people who complain about Walmart. Email your complains to BBB at bbb.com. I see thousands of complains in sites that Walmart could not care less about and one complain to BBB WILL be answered. Regardless on how big the company is, ther credit rating in bbb effects their credibility. Hit this small business killer where it hurts.
Their credit rating is A+ and this is the same company that used the slogan " We buy American, We sell American" for years. Remember that?

All your complains WILL be answered only if you submit to BBB. Walmart executives are not stupit, they have been counting on the normal Joe's stupidity for years.
Complain to BBB.com and get response faster that you think

Classy. Not that you had any credibility in the first place, but you managed to sink even lower, if possible.

I hope you have gone into every other store that does this daniel and harassed them until they fix it. Because if you have only taken your case against Wal-Mart, then you clearly have other motives.

The link that I provided is where he was looking for a lawyer to sue his neighbor who he doesnt get along with. I originally thought he had a valid point with Walmart until I researched it and found out who he was and that he had posted on another site that his neighbor had money and he was looking to sue him for $350K over a stupid sign that he didnt like. Daniel, just a hint, dont use the same screenname on every site you visit since it was easy to find out your name, address, what kind of car you have, where you used to work and what you look like.

I agree with the other stating that you need to find something better to do with your time. By the way, many stores do this and I've never heard of a child getting crushed to death.

The internet is a wonderful thing:
Just saw that you were looking for a lawyer to sue someone recently for $350, 000. http://pulse.yahoo.com/_XMLZU65XN2M7ANQQMWGMT43F6Q/blog Guess you should start chasing after some ambulances and seeing if you can meet up with some slimeball lawyers. But then again it your neighbor thinks that you are a police informant and you also drive a car that has the police package so shouldnt the cops be your friends, ..ROTFLOL...
Mr. Beyrent, I think your neighbor was right when he said "You really must be a f*** g Pollack."

Sorry but sounds like you're just looking for some quick cash. I would hardly call this situation "deadly." Why get so sensitive about a situation such as this? Seriously brush it off and move on. I'm quite certain Walmart has procedures and safety regulations on how their merchandise is to be displayed. What Walmart did was within legal rights, in addition for you to sue the company would be a huge waste of time. What quack lawyer would take a case like this? Walmart is one of the largest retailers in the US and I'm betting their lawyers know how to deal with people like you. And eli5 shame on you! I can not believe you are advising the guy to commit FRAUD! People like you are whats wrong with the country butthurt and always looking for a quick buck. I bet your one of these people who would sue the city for bumping into a pole.

Darn, I just noticed that you went to Walmart 4 times in 3 days and twice in one day! They probably think you are stealing stuff since you keep going in there all the time. You really need to find something better to do with your time than hang out there :)

Contact Walmart headquarters and tell them what happenned when you tried to document this and have them contact the manager of the store. They probably thought you were casing the joint and taking pictures and called the cops or maybe they mistook you for someone else that was taking pictures . Is this the one on Rt 22 in Union next to Home Depot? My brother works at the Home Depot and knows all of the cops and a lot of people try ripping stuff off all the time, so they are really proactive. I will ask him if he knows if the town has an inspector that unsafe conditions can be reported too, or maybe you should call OSHA and report te store. Or even better, have two friends go in and have one bump into the pile, knock it over onto the other and then sue them!
