I had an accident January 7th, 2024in my 2023 Nissan Sentra. When the local Nissan Dealership called me to discuss, they said that USAA farmed out my claim to another company, and they would only cover used or non-OEM parts... They also informed me that using these parts would void my factory (3 year, 36,000 mile) bumper to bumper warranty, and if I didn't want it voided, I would have to come out of pocket over $3,500 extra. I called my adjuster at USAA and she told me because it was 2024, and my car was a 2023, they would not cover OEM parts. I then asked her to have her supervisor call me back and he told me the same policy. That is just ridiculous to me, Not only have I never heard such a thing, but I have also been a loyal USAA customer for over 18 years. If this does not get fixed by USAA, I will be filing complaints here daily, along with as many bad reviews I can file and a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I am also seriously considering changing my insurance company to an organization that actually cares for and reveres our military veterans.

Claimed loss: $3,570.41

Desired outcome: Full compensation with factory parts so I do not void my warranty.
