so I had some sketchy stuff go down with my Piermont Bank card. Like, I saw some charges on there that I didn't make, all for Uber Eats. I only used the card to put money on it with Cash App, so I know it wasn't me. I tried to get help from the customer service peeps at Purpose Banking, but they didn't do squat. I just want my money back, man.

They told me they couldn't or won't move forward with my dispute unless I show proof of contacting the companies where my card was used. The company told me to file a dispute with my bank. This is ridiculous that a person that has been victimized has to go through this.

Me and my buds invest in buildings in *** and we heard about Piermont Bank from a mortgage guy at *** Advisor. We wanted to refinance a loan on a place we own in *** and we met with the bank before they did the underwriting. We told them that most of our money is overseas and they said it was cool. They even gave us a letter saying they would give us the loan. But then the underwriting took forever because they wanted a bunch of stuff from us that was hard to get, like bank statements from our home country in English and personal info on the three main guys who own the building. They also wanted us to give them $15K for the underwriting costs. We found out later that the bank couldn't give us the loan even though they said they could. They didn't believe that we had the money we said we did and they blamed us for the long process. We told them they were making it hard for us to give them what they wanted and they said we had to talk to the CEO. When we asked how much money we needed to show them, they didn't say anything. They never told us they weren't giving us the loan but they kept the $15K and didn't give us any of it back.
