UPS No human customer service representatives....

Evidently UPS does not employee human beings as customer service representatives.

I shipped a package and requested that it be held at location if the recipients were not available at the time of delivery because of their very busy schedule. Instead, UPS made 3 delivery attempts and then notified me that the shipment was being immediately returned to me.

I attempted to call their customer service to see if there was something that could be done but found that UPS does everything it can to avoid any type of human interaction with its customers. Instead of employing humans as customer service reps, UPS only provides artificial intelligence with limited capabilities and provides no means of requesting to be connected to an actual human.

I will never ship with UPS again...NEVER!

UPS Bad Customer Service

Went to this store September 23, 2021 @ 11 a.m. was not greeted when I entered the store was not acknowledge by any of the employees until one person was finsh taping up her box she was not cordial, after I told the clerk the reason for my visit was to return some packages to Amazon, I advised her I had the return labels on my phone, she advised me that in order for me to do returns I needed to know what was in each box that I was returning to match the return labels, she was very nonchalant and also had a cosigner in the back talking, didn't make my visit easy, I left and went to another store and had excellent professional service . These people do not need to work with the public.

UPS Shipping and Customs fees suspected to be a scam

On the 8th of September a package was shipped with UPS and the sender paid for both shipping and customs fees which was 4, 103.94 ZAR from the US. We were never informed about any additional charges. It was exported as a gift so we obviously knew that no additional fees needed to be paid. As I was tracking the package, it was set to be delivered on the 15th of September and on that day, it was never delivered. I checked the site again and it said the package was in clearance and I waited a week for it. I then called the Kempton Park office to ask about the package and they told me that it might be delayed because I need to pay a fee and that they'd send me an email with an invoice and the bill. The bill came through and it was the same charges the sender of the package paid, 4, 103.94 ZAR. They told us SARS was involved and that the package is being taxed because of the items in it (which are a gift and it doesn't make sense that we're being taxed on that). We also communicated with SARS and they know nothing about the fees we're being charged. They told us we need to pay the ridiculous fees or they're sending the package away. We'd like to know why we need to pay fees SARS knows nothing about and why I can't get my package and get this over and done with because I've waited 3 weeks for my package and I can't wait any longer.

Desired outcome: To get my package without paying ridiculous fees that no one told us about

UPS Package delivery

UPS South Africa is charging my sister R4000 claiming that SARS is the one that's invoicing that. When I check that link there's no sign of SARS or SARS logo meaning they just want to scam her. When I sent the package I declared it as a gift so it doesn't have any problem with customs. Which it didn't. But UPS wants to charge us when customs already cleared the package.

Desired outcome: Send the package to the person it is intended to

UPS Package not received

To Whom It May Concern,

I would like to share my experience with UPS delivery. There should be zero stars option for reviews. I have had plenty of bad experiences with UPS and I let them all slide, but now I am tired.
There should be zero stars option! UPS is horrible. I do not know why companies still choose UPS as a shipping option. 8.5/10 you will never get your package. I have several stories to share. I ordered a sports bra from Nike.com last fall and it did not make it to me by the delivery date. It was delivered to someone else. I made 4 phone calls and spoke with several reps and a mgr. They didn't seem surprised at all. Anyway, I started a claim and called Nike to inform them of the debacle. Nike was very apologetic and refunded me my money. But I would like to say that it's not always about receiving the refund if you really needed the item. The bra finally arrived 2 weeks after the fact, but it had been opened and resealed! Fast forward to this year.
I ordered a rug from Amazon and who is it being delivered by? You guessed it, ol half-... UPS. The rug never made it to me because it stopped off in TN to rest a bit. I called Amazon and they refunded me my money. Again, I needed the rug.
So, Sept. 7, 2021, I ordered a handbag for my birthday, cute I might add. Sept 9th it was shipped, and arrival date should have been Sept 14th... As of today, Sept 17th I have no handbag. The tracker continues to say it's on the way like it always does when packages go missing/ (Stolen).. The automated system is set up to say the same thing the online tracker says. Live agents aren't available or probably tired of hearing the complaints. I filed yet another claim.. yaddi yaddi yada. I went to the distribution center to ask about my package and was told by the girl at the counter that it was last scanned in TN, but tracking information shows Bham, AL. I don't believe any of it. The package should have made it to me with no problems. It sounds like a scam and everyone is in on it.
I am surprised that companies are still using UPS after all the complaints and horrible reviews. What would it take? The ratings are horrible but, yet the representatives (when you can reach one) have the nerve to talk like someone has done something to them and companies are still using UPS… It's a joke! I believe UPS should be investigated -the entire company. There is no way that packages should always come up "missing". Put cameras in those trucks! Figure out why packages completely stop moving once they get to TENNESSE.. What's the deal? You don't find that strange? What is happening in Tennessee and why does it seem like it's ok. I know that UPS knows that more times than not companies are going to refund the customer's money, and someone gets off free with merchandise they didn't pay for. I am not believing that all these packages just disappear. What good does tracking the package do if you can't get answers when your packages comes up missing? Nobody knows anything, just a bunch of worthless apologies. If I had a choice, I would vote to remove UPS as a delivery option and take my chance with a man riding a donkey..

UPS Recieving my package

For the past week almost two weeks, UPS has had my package and is refusing to deliver it. I paid for delivery service not pick up service. The answer I keep getting is there are no drivers. So are you saying in a multi-billion company UPS has Zero drivers and even though I paid for shipping to my address? I have to pick up my package as suggested by your customer service agent. Due to lack of or in the representative words, there are no drivers to make delvieries. I need my package shipped immediately. Tacking number [protected]

UPS Charged me $10 for storage when it was/is free

I demand a refund of $10 back to my card per receipt 12109132363A002172 back to my card from UPS Store 2363

Having gotten notice on Friday afternoon that my package was in I looked up if there was a charge and how long UPS holds it. It said Ups holds it for free 7 days. I picked it up Monday and I was charged $10.
I want that $10 refunded to my card now, today!

Ups typically loses my house even though they have delivered there and I was going to have it sent to a friends house that is why it had "ww" on it but then told the shipper belt to use my billing address but do not send it there but let me pick it up at UPS.
You people would not know what goodwill is if it sat next to you.
As stated I looked to see if their were any charges before and after I picked it up and it said it was free for 7 days. $10 for Friday to the first time I could pick it up on Monday, what CROOKS! The girl said it was for protecting it, what BULL!

UPS Shipping of a package from Quebec Canada to Reno Nevada USA

Yes hello I am complaining about a package tracking number
# 1ZK403TC6825657820
That was sent by a UPS shipping store in Quebec Canada on 29 August it was scanned into the system on the 30th Canadas system And it hasn't been seen or heard from since!
I received two bogus emails from you from UPS, I'm the recipient of the package stating that it was shipped and another one stating that it would arrive on September 7 all of this was phony information and it confused me so on the 10th I believe I contacted UPS in America they couldn't tell me anything much
They finally after many misleading comments by your employees in America, that it hadn't even left Canada yet and last Tuesday is when I talked to them and they said a manager from the lost department would contact me,
nobody EVER CALLED me BACK not from Canada and not from the United States, I feel I am doing this investigation, your work for you !
I would like to know why I wasn't contacted, why you guys didn't catch this in almost 3 weeks, why I have to do your work for you, why I have to call you to track a package that you lost and why my aunt Jeannette who sent the package and I have not had 1 ounce of communication from you in almost 3 weeks!
This is very very bad business that your customer should have to get in touch with your Company over & over to find out where THE package is!
Until I called your Co. over and over there was not an investigation started or anything and if I hadn't called nothing would still be happening!
BAD BUSINESS!
Your Co. NOT contacting us and telling us what was going on is completely unacceptable!
Today after four phone calls taking about 45 minutes more of MT time on the phone with your company, they are now starting an eight day investigation so now I have to wait eight more days, I told your people in Canada that I want updates every single day of what Exactly what is going on!
instead of totally being ignored like my aunt Jeanette the sender and me the recipient have been by your company!
I don't think I will ever use UPS again!
Especially when every person I've talked to except for the last guy in Canada have been pretty much dismissive and like I should just handle it sorry! Sorry these things happen! and that's exactly how I feel I've been treated by your company and your employees in Canada and America especially!

UPS driver didn't even try ringing.

Whole day waiting for my package, and just got email that package couldn't be delivered. BS. I was home all day, so I know that's not possible. The driver didn't even ring my door bell to try to deliver the package or even the notice slip of being unable to reach me

UPS Access Point Delivery

Access Point Delivery is a scam that allows UPS to avoid delivering packages to the recipient's home. All the driver has to do is state that the recipient was not at home...which may or may not be true and does not matter unless a signature is required...and then it's up to the recipient to hunt down which of the 50 or so "Access Points" the package was delivered to. Furthermore, I have actual video proof that during the time the delivery attempt was supposedly made absolutely no UPS truck was seen on my street. Meanwhile I have been provided no direct information from UPS...no attempted delivery slip...no address of the Access Point...no help whatsoever. This is outrageous.

Desired outcome: Deliver my package as you were paid to do by the shipper. Discontinue your fraudulent Access Point Delivery system at once.

I shipped 4 packages from this store to my home in Florida on 07/10/2021. One of the packages was damaged, along with the ceramic piece enclosed. I filed a damage complaint for $95 and that claim was approved. A check for $95 was issued to the UPS store (#0466) and they were to arrange sending that settlement to me. Now this store has closed, and when I try...

UPS Damaged delivery

I had two vintage receivers to ship. Used huntington ups store based on their website stating that they "will package electronics perfectly" for shipping. I also bought their "insurance" on each package. The cost: $45 each to provide the packaging and pack "expertly", they cost $218 each each to ship to california, they cost $32 each to insure for $2400 value each. Total cost: $526... Delivered august 17, both damaged... Ups driver in california noted that both boxes were damaged. Opened both boxes and the stereo receiver wood cabinets were broken, electronics wouldn't function.

Desired outcome: REIMBUSED for $5500 LOSS

UPS Left my package at a CVS instead of my door

Despite the fact that I've had multiple orders delivered to my front door before, UPS decided it was a nice idea to leave a recent amazon order of mine at a CVS instead of my apartment. I live in a townhouse, and the front door is on the ground floor. There is no reason for a driver to leave my package halfway across town instead of at my apartment. I tried to call customer service, but their evil robot phone answering system refused to give me a customer service representative.

Desired outcome: Deliver to my house.

I had a similar experience. Although I was home and have video evidence that no UPS truck came near my house during the "attempted delivery period", my package was left at one of the 40 or so Access Points in our city. No attempted delivery notice (to prove they actually came by my house)...no direct notification of what had happened...no hint as to which of the Access Points the package resides. My shipment is lost. This is a complete scam by UPS to reduce delivery costs and boost profits. I will change to FedEx and refuse to deal with any vendors who use UPS.

UPS delivered at the wrong address

I missed my delivery on Friday. I agreed to pick up the package at a UPS location. But they delivered the package at the wrong address the same day. How can the delivery guy be so irresponsible because the label had the different address and the person's name on it.

We called UPS waited on phone to speak with the Supervisor, after a long wait she comes on the phone and the line gets disconnected. They have our call back number but they don't even show us the courtesy of calling us back.

The package had the medication, my dad was not supposed to meet. UPS is very negligent

UPS No package - claimed package was delivered

Part of my order was to be delivered by UPS. It morphed into SurePost but I got an email saying "exception" and my package would be delivered by UPS. At 1PM that day I received phone message that my package "was delivered". I go outside and no package. I check my driveway, side yards, neighbor's yards, front porches, no package whatsoever. I took a picture at about 1:05 PM of my front porch with my address showing NO PACKAGE. First I call the seller to report this. Then I make the fatal mistake of contacting UPS customer service via email. First email they want me to verify my address. I did this and uploaded a copy of my front home with no package. Next email they want me to contact the seller. I explain I did this. Next email they tell me this "because the package was Surepost we cannot by contract file a claim". Wait. Did I sign up for this? Did I authorize UPS to deliver it instead of the Post office? They could not blame me for the "lost package because I had all the evidence, tracking number, correct address (I did double check with seller and they ONLY have my correct address as UPS was inferring it was their fault). and most of all a time stamped Picture of my home, driveway, front porch with NO PACKAGE. They refused to help. I explained I wanted to report this and they continued to blame me, the seller, etc. I told them at all efforts I intend to avoid doing business with sellers who use UPS since I am stuck with their policies and lack of responsibility.

Desired outcome: Acknowledgment they lost the package and effort to prevent future losses.
