In February 2009 Paul Damiano at United Housing Relief (UHR) responded to my on-line request for information concerning mortgage loan modification. He said that UHR could work with my mortgage company and secure a modified mortgage (after saying that I pre-qualified based on my financial information that we went over on the telephone in that initial conversation). He said they by-pass the Servicer, and go directly to the investor and that their services were money back guaranteed if they were unable to successfully secure a fixed rate, lower monthly payment mortgage that would, of course, be in my benefit.
He said this would cost me $1, 595. I paid this in 2 payments. Needless to say, they were not able to work anything out. Once this was clear, after confirming with my mortgage company, I contacted UHR several times via email and telephone and they do not respond.
I would not recommend anyone using this company as I have heard from at least 2 other people who have tried working with them that they have had the same experience with them. They are scam artists.
ALLANnWAYNE - I am the person who began with the initial complaint about UHR. UHR was not able to secure a modification for me. This fact was confirmed with my mortgage servicer. I was pre-qualified by P. Damiano. I made sure they received my information in a timely manner. I made sure the lines of communication were open because I was the one who kept them open. I was the one who contacted Tina via email and telephone to let them know when I would be out of the office and they could contact me at my home number. I was the one who contacted them when too much time had passed and I felt that it would be good to have an update. Eventually I would hear from UHR, but I was the one who initiated the contact.
At this point, my papers can not be resubmitted, because I filed Chapter 13 to save my property because the servicer was moving forward with foreclosure plans. I am due a full refund of $1, 595. I could not care less who is responsible for what at UHR. The Florida BBB/Southeast Region list Wayne Kriesberg as the owner of UHR. If, as you say in one of the previous posts, UHR had hundreds of satisfied clients, then there should be money available to refund the few of us who are overdue.

These guys need to be in the cell next to Madoff! They use the same principle--take from people--use to support their lifestyle--leave you high and dry.
My heart and prayers go out to you Momzor. I feel like you do--a certified check in the mail would stop me. So since it looks like that is not going to happen, I am moving along with filing my complaints with the proper authorities.
I wonder if Wayne and the others have lost their homes and/or jobs the way many others have. I wonder if they have consciences that make them think about how people trusted them with their most valuable asset--their homes--and how UHR knowingly scammed people and in many cases took them from being late to Chapter 13 or foreclosure and displacement of families. Do they realize or even care that they are part of the problem instead being part of the solution?
They better make sure they wear the best fire repellant outfits at the Time of Reckoning because right now they are headed to Hell with gasoline drawers on.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

A lady that has had her son in the Army pass away and than days after your company was paid 2500$ to complete a service and 7 months later your still twiddling your thumbs and have done nothing for her? But shes not a normal person? That makes alot of sense and just shows the type of idiotic and selfish person that UHR has workng for them on the remaining files. Luckily I ended up saving my home my self after I realised I was taken by your scam. But honestly I would feel very confident if I had Uhr and Kristi (a very intellegent and kind girl) working on saving my home.) I have paid this company 1700.00. I started with Richard, then he "left" and I was working wth only Tina, then someone named Tony started calling me but only to take the payments. Then I was told Tina was no longer with the company and was working with Ashley. Then Ashley was out with sick kids and never came back and I started with Christie. Christie called me over a week ago and said that their phone service had to be changed and she would call me back in a couple of days and give me the new number. Surprise ! Surprise ! no one has called me back and now it is a non working number. I called the number on this sight for Wayne by the way and a Wayne answers the phone but claims to have never heard of UHR. . Although I wasnt always happy with the job they were doing I really did believe they were helping. They did accomplish things with the mortgage company that I wasnt able to. I am sorry to hear what happened thats why I entrusted in a law firm to get my Modification done. I recently did a loan Modification with the Al Verdi Law Group. They walked me through every step of the process from start to finish, I was very fortunate to find such a wonderful company to work with. If I may recommend any company to do your loan modification I would give them a call, they did my entire loan modification in exactly 47 days and anytime I had a question they were very responsive in getting right back to me. Its unfortunate there are so many bad company's out there, If anyone comes across any other bad companies please post because no one deserves to get there house taken from them. Funny how Wayne and Allen say they had nothing to do with it then someone else say they owe a Loan Mod. company I never worked there but know people who is and Wayne and Allen both make threatening phone calls to those people to say they were the ones to talk to. Funny how that works they are ### who screw people over and once the get there money the run. Paul is the legit person in this I dont even know him. Like I said I never worked there I just know people who did.

WOW!... I was just filing my complaint with the BBB when I Googled - United Housing Relief and found this website! I'm not the only one who's had problems with these people! Don't do business with them! My problem started after Tina left! Listen to this... United Housing Relief did modify my loan. BUT... the loan modification they did took my house payment from $2000 a month to $3000 a month! What kind of modification is this? And Wayne, as a business man, the first thing you should do is get a new office staff. What a bunch of unprofessional employees you have! They don't even know how to correctly put customers on hold. Your customers get to hear every curse word they use. Example: Your receptionist calls her co-worker Mike a F***ing D***! Unbelievable the customer service I rec'd. But, I've given up trying to get a refund and dealing with United Housing. I believe what goes around, comes around and I'm not going to waste any more time with this.
And to all of you other people complaining, I'll check this website every so often and if you all hire an attorney and file a lawsuit, put the information on here and I'll help too. Thank you and God Bless.

ALLANnWayne, you know what I do own a business. When a tech that works for me does something wrong at a clients, I have to refund the labor charge and make it right. SO THE ANSWER IS YES, I DO WORK FOR FREE WHEN I HAVE TO.
This is not the right way to handle customer complaints. You do not demean someone when your company has done them wrong, excuses of employees mishandling it is not a reason to take an attitude and it is a shame that you have chosen to attack me as I was willing to work with you, then you made your snide comments. I see someone knows you and has given me information to take this one step further.
Don't give me the crap that you have been trying to get a hold of me, you have my file at your office, and that was updated on May 20th after the employees in question left the company, it has all my phone contact and email information in it. Why are you deliberately trying to goat me and the others that paid your company for a service that was not done?

I just need to clairfy that I paid $2, 495.00 back in Feb 2009, for a loan modification. So if you are offering to do the job I paid you to do for FREE, then again when can I expect a check?

Yes, if you gave your word that you would refund the money, then what is the problem? Why are you not keeping your word? OH! so you won't keep your word on refunding the money, but we are suppose to trust that you will do the loan modification, that has not been done yet. Hummm, that is crazy.

Notice point B on page 3...How many of these laws did you break Wayne? It's not a civil matter when your breaking the law...and this is in your own state...California, Maryland, north carolina, illinois, Nevada, Alabama, all have similar laws to Florida's. When you rip enough people off it will come back to you. No one wants to here you cry about how much work you've done on these files..You wouldn't have so many complaints if you did so much work..When someone calls your office and no one answers that's usually not a good sign for someone who put their trust in your company to save their most prized possesion their home. You can at least have the decencey to refund our money not kick us when we;re down and take us for 2 grand and we're going to lose our home? Stop bickering with your prior employees and pointing blame. You were the investor or owner so be a man and if you can't get the modification done..Give these people their hard earned money back.
AllannWayne, I am not happy with the way you are treating this mess, with your responses. I just want my money back. I am calling my mortgage company on Monday and getting the full story from them about what all has been done. It has been 5 months now. When I signed with this company this was thier statement:

If you ever had the drive enough to invest in a business or own one yourself, you would know that you can't make everyone happy...and that there are always a few rotton apples who spoil the bunch. The great thing about this country is that NORMAL people understand that a few complaints out of hundreds of statisfied customers is pretty damn good. Being that you are now an expert in the field of the FTC, mortgages, and loan modificatons...you must already know that this is a civil matter. Their own lender calls the shots...we work on behalf of the client to get the best possible deal for them. While we get great deals for some people, other people are in much worse situations. They either are much further behind on their mortgage or whatever the case may be. If the client is not happy with the modification that we get for them, that is not our problem anymore. We are hired to obtain a modification...nothing more...nothing less. Everyone needs to get their expections in perspective and stop crying wolf. As we said in previous posts, if anyone is unhappy with the job done, we will retry to get them a modification for FREE. I do not know how much more we can do for unreasonable people. We have been closed for 3 months and are willing to re-do anyone who is unsatisfied for Free. If we were running away...believe me...we would have already been gone...###!

That is exactly what we are doing...fixing the mess we were left from Damiano and Tina. The computers that were stolen, were stolen by Damiano. Unfortunatly, your complaints to the police department (completely absurd)...they do not even handle issues such as these. This is a civil matter, as they must have told you, and complaints to the Attorney General cause unecessary issues for the people trying to do the right thing on files such as yours, and cause delays becuase then we have to spend hours repsonding to complaints which take time off of working on files. AllannWayne, when I called on May 20th I asked them why noone called me, the person at the office told me that the files and computers were stolen in March and nothing had been done on the file and that I needed to resend all current stuff to them as they had no file on me. I am just stating what I was told.
When I first signed up with this company, I did receive a notice from my lender 6 weeks later, that they received the auth for this company to talk with them about my account. Then I heard nothing.
If that is what people are saying, then someone must have told them like they told me. This is not time for a pissing match, on who said what, it is time to fix this mess.
MomZor---I can tell you this...many hours of work go into each and every file and I highly doubt that nothing was done on your file at all. Quite frankly, I am a little bit tired of people saying that nothing was done on their file when we have full files with proof of everything that was done including a conversation log with your lender. So please, when you say nothing was done on your file, make sure you know what you are talking about. I will have someone call you on Monday.
My name is Christina and I spoke with someone at your office on the 20th, I sent over a new set of my files and they were never processed. I was not denied, nothing was done at all. My son died Jan 23rd he was in the Army. Pauls girlfriend died just days later. It was all so very sad. I paid $2, 495.00 in full and nothing was done on my loan. ALLANWAYNE, I just need to know did Paul Damiano's girlfriend die in Janurary of 2009? Just days after my son died, Paul said that his girlfriend overdosed. Is this true? I felt a kindred towards him and trusted him. I just want to know if this is true.
Also, the only people I dealt with were Paul Damiano, Tina and DaniAnn. Were they not the employees? I own my own business, my employees do not have access to my company bank accounts, I don't believe that any employer would just allow any employee access to the bank accounts.
I spoke with Paul Damiano since, this company ripped me off. He seemed perplexed, said that the owners fired everone, one day in March (I think), and they all lost 2 weeks of their salary. Then they filed a police report saying that a computer the company gave him was stolen. He returned it to the police upon this accusation, however no files or client information was stolen at all. If he really stole anything, he would have been in Jail, right? The new company he works for probably would not have hired him? I am confused.
I just want my money back. This pissing match between all of the people involved is getting out of hand. Who had access to the bank accounts that the money was deposited in? That is the only thing that matters really right now. Who is the owner? And is Elite grouop LLC? Does this owner own Elite Group LLC? Whomever is the owner and whomever signed the employees checks, had access to the bank accounts is the one that will be responsible. Who is that?
I have filed with the Attorney General [protected]. I filed a police report with the Police [protected] report # 09-4373. I am not going to just let this go. I want answers.

Wayne Kriesberg is a saint. He is a great guy. He never has ###ed over anyone. He always ran legit companies like mortgages, warranties, Loan Modifcations and a pain clinic. Every1 that knows wayne Kriesberg will say that he never screwed any1 over. I truly don't understand this.
I also got taken in Feb of 2009 for $1995 and nobody from this office is doing a damn thing. The only person I can get a hold of at this place is some bimbo named Mel or Christie. I finally contacted my lender since I could not get a hold of anyone at UHR and my lender said that UHR has done nothing and has not had any communication with them regarding my loan. In my opinion Paul, Diamano, this damned Tina chick and the two investors are all pieces of ###! They all preyed on all of the us--the homeowners just trying to save our homes. I am also very worried that all of my financial information is out ther in the hands of these ###. I don't know about all of you, but I intend to bring the Feds down on all four of these ### and won't let up until they all get what they deserve. On a possitive note, I was able to work with my lender and THEY are processing a loan mod for me. If you haven't already tried, you should try. Also, if you are looking for a loan mod company, make sure they are attorneys. Good luck to my fellow victims.
The true mastermind behind United Housing Relief is Paul Damiano. He set the whole place up, he trained everyone to sell the way he wants to. He also reviewed every deal that was done at UHR. He was responsable for every deal that took place. Paul made almost all of the money at UHR and bank records would prove that. He was the silent genius of UHR while Wayne and Allan were just the monetary investors, who lost theirs shirts trying to do the right thing while Paul made a fortune. He worked hand in hand with Tina LoCicero. Tina was paid per deal upfront to make sure she did all of the modifications. Paul Damiano and Tina fled and left all the files and clients behind while the made off with all the money they pocketed. They are both ### and are now ripping people off at C AND R LOAN MODIFCATIONS. Their new number is [protected]. I was told that regulators are currently watching C and R by a credible source. While Paul and Tina fled, Wayne and Allan kept the place going...paying out of their own pocket to make sure that the loan modifications get done. UHR has not taken any new deals in about 3 months are are filing for bankruptcy since Paul and Tina left them high and dry...although, all files will be finished out and hopfully modified. Everyone can thank Paul and Tina for any grief suffered.
wayne kriesberg is the biggest piece of ### I have ever met. He will not refund anyone money. He is the the mastermind behind this ### company called United Housing Relief. I was called by a girl Kristina from uhr and said she could help me with my mortgage. 2 month later there out of business and now nobody anwers the phone except this ### black guy rodney. I hope the ftc puts the owner in jail for many years to come.
I also paid 2300.00 to this company. This payment was made in March and nothing has been done and my mortgage company keeps calling. I am also upset at all of the financial information that was submitted to this company. I will be calling the Attorney generals office in Florida because this has affected my credit and my family.
