I recently quit the Spirit Halloween I was working at. I was looking forward to the job but my first day on the floor my manager decided she didn't like me. Her and other employees talked to me like I'm stupid. She made any coworker keep an eye on me my entire shift. I am not stupid I heard what they would say about me and I saw it. I tried to stay until the end of the season but I do not want to work somewhere with an environment like this. I felt like I was getting bullied at work and it was upsetting and demeaning. I've had plenty of jobs requiring actual skill or knowledge so for me to be treated this way at a seasonal halloween store isn't okay. Employees and management had extremely inappropriate conversations in front of me my first day and customers. Any task I would be assigned she would immediately take it away without even letting me do anything. If i needed a manager I would call on the walkie and would just be ignored. My last shift i called twice because I wasn't sure if she heard me and she yelled at me across the store in front of the customers and had an attitude with me for the rest of the day. As I was finishing my new hire employee training I realized everything in the video about shrinkage and employee theft were being done at my store by management. She essentially implied while I was employed there that I have nothing to offer as an employee thats why she kept moving me around the way she did. I really do not like being singled out or talked down to and I would never do that to anyone else regardless of context. I'm sure this is pointless and might not ever be seen but if anyone else was treated this way they might see this and feel encouraged to stand up and say something. I was also the only hispanic employee they had. Any person that came into the store would come up to me for help instead of anyone else there because of how they were treated and spoken to by the other employees. So this is not only just an issue of how I was treated because customers were treated the same way. Regardless of what I look like I shouldn't be judged solely on my hair, piercings, clothing etc. I shouldn't have to hide things about me for a job to give me a chance and treat me with respect. I was really excited about working at spirit its something I've always wanted to do and for it to end up like this is upsetting and I feel stupid for ever applying in the first place. And lastly I was never paid for any of my shifts and I couldn't figure out how to get in touch with corporate about this either which is why I am submitting this now.

Desired outcome: I would hope this would help other employees experiencing the same thing and I would like to get the money i worked for during my employment.
