Shipt Shipt Review: Great at First, but Now a Disappointment

Shipt was like a breath of fresh air when I first started using it. The shoppers were always on time, funny, and just all-around great people. But lately, I've been having some serious issues with them. For the third time in a row, my shopper has been over an hour late with my delivery. It's frustrating because I have things to do and I can't just sit around waiting for them to show up.

To make matters worse, I spent a lot of time finding substitutions for items that weren't available. But when my shopper arrived, he asked me if he should just skip those items altogether. UMMMMM, no! I picked substitutions for a reason! And then, to top it all off, he told me he was headed to the wrong store to pick up my order. When I corrected him, he just said "ooops, sorry I just woke up." What kind of excuse is that? My order was due at a specific time, and he just woke up? Come on, man.

Honestly, I'm starting to think that Shipt has gone WAY downhill. I used to love using them, but now I'm better off just shopping for myself. And I'm definitely canceling my subscription with them once this current one expires. It's just not worth the hassle anymore.

Shipt Disappointed with Shipt: Missing Groceries and Inconsistent Delivery Times

So, I gotta say, I've been using Shipt for a while now to get my groceries delivered from Jewel-Osco. And let me tell you, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride.

The first time I ever heard of them, they sent me an email saying my delivery might not come until 3pm, even though it was scheduled for 9am. I was like, "What the heck, Shipt? I need my groceries!" So I called the store and got it all sorted out, but it was still a bit of a hassle.

But then, just the other day, I got a text saying my groceries had been delivered at 8am. I was like, "Sweet, I can start making breakfast!" But when I went to check, there were no groceries to be found. I was so confused and frustrated. I mean, I'm a disabled senior who depends on grocery delivery, and now my food was nowhere to be found.

I called the store and they said they would resend my order with a different delivery service, but I was still pretty upset. I mean, Shipt stole my groceries! And to make matters worse, I never even got the normal email telling me what I was receiving, or a text saying they were on the way. It was like my food just disappeared into thin air.

And now I'm out almost $200 for food I never even received. I wish I could send them proof of purchase, but I never got the email saying what I was getting, and there's nothing to take a picture of since nothing was delivered.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with Shipt. I mean, I appreciate the convenience of having my groceries delivered, but if they can't even get it right, what's the point? I'll probably try a different service next time.

Shipt Shipt Delivery Service Review: Terrible Customer Service and Communication

This delivery service is the worst I've ever experienced! The customer service is a complete joke. I placed an order with Target through Shipt, and it was supposed to be delivered between 2-3 pm. I kept tracking my order online, and it kept saying that it was 'on its way' for hours. I thought maybe they were just busy, so I waited until 6 pm to call and check on my order. When I finally called Shipt, they told me that my order was canceled due to a 'processing' error, but they didn't provide any further details. I was so frustrated because there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION about my order being canceled!

Shipt told me to call Target and tell them what happened to get a refund. I called Target, and they told me to call Shipt again. I called Shipt again, and they told me that they would refund my order. However, I ended up getting a refund FOR ONLY PART OF MY ORDER THAT THEY CANCELED! I was so angry and confused. I am on my 7th phone call to try to find out why I am still being charged for part of my order. Every time I call, I have to wait on hold for what feels like an eternity, and now, after just a few minutes on 'hold,' the phone just disconnects. It's so frustrating!

I have called multiple numbers for both Target and Shipt, but it seems like no one can help me. Keep in mind that Target is the parent company of Shipt, so I expected better service from them. I am so DONE WITH BOTH OF THEM! I will never use Shipt or Target again. This experience has been a complete nightmare, and I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.

Shipt Frustrating Experience with Shipt Gift Card: No Balance Check & Overcharged

So, me and my wife got a gift card from our friends while she was going through cancer treatments. We were really grateful for it and decided to use it to order some groceries from Shipt. But, we couldn't find a way to check the balance on the gift card. We placed an order and it arrived, but we still didn't know how much was left on the card. So, we tried to place a second order to see if there was any funds remaining. The order got placed, but it never got delivered because the shopper couldn't find our address. And, to make matters worse, we ended up going over the gift card balance by $4 because we couldn't see the balance.

We were really frustrated with the whole experience. We had to purchase a second monthly membership just to be able to use the remaining funds on the gift card. It felt like there was no understanding of customer service at all. It seemed like Shipt was just trying to scam people out of their money.

We originally signed up for a trial membership, but we cancelled it after the second order because we don't have Shipt service locally. We were only using it while we were on vacation to celebrate my wife's recovery.

Overall, we would definitely avoid using Shipt again. They really need to improve their process for dealing with gift cards. They should show the balance and allow a cancelled membership to stay active until the through date, like every other service does. It was just a really frustrating experience and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Shipt Shipt Review: Good Service, But Room for Improvement

Shopping through the Target app with Shipt is definitely more helpful than going to the store yourself. However, I'm starting to get more stressed about the inability of Shipt to be a mediator. It seems like some issues are still not improving, like communication about any issue with the Shipt service. There is no real legitimate way to explain any issue, and the rating system isn't good for much. I can't even choose priority shoppers either.

I shouldn't be paying a bulk of the wages for the shopper plus all other expenses. Shipt is making a profit and should be sharing it with the shopper. They have expenses and have to pay their own stuff. It feels like it's dumping on me, the customer, in a tip (I pay tips every time). I also have to pay the yearly subscription, which is not cheap. On top of that, the prices online are higher, and there are less available quality items online.

If there are issues, I have to go through Target. Shipt needs to train properly, like they would a Target employee, or places they can watch videos or something. This includes all aspects of the job, like general proper "uniform" meaning no real offending stuff, safe shoes, clean car where you put people's food and groceries, and clean hands. Shopping isn't the hard part, except when you put impossible constraints that make it hard for anyone to deliver.

As a customer who is already dealing with enough problems, I shouldn't have to try and figure out ways to make sure my order isn't damaged, spoiled, unsanitary, or anything like that. Shipt needs to step up their game and make sure that their shoppers are properly trained and equipped to handle any situation that may arise. Overall, Shipt is a good service, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Shipt Terrible Experience with Shipt: Unprofessional and Disappointing Service

I recently had a terrible experience with Shipt. I was feeling under the weather after a long day of teaching elementary school kids, so I decided to order some essentials from Target using the Shipt app. I opted for delivery instead of pickup, thinking it would be more convenient. However, things quickly went downhill from there.

The delivery window was supposed to be between 8-9pm EST, and I received confirmation of my order at 6:18pm. However, the delivery never came. I kept checking my phone, but I didn't hear anything from Shipt. After 9pm, I tried to get in touch with their customer service, but the hold time was ridiculous. I was on hold for over an hour, even though the recorded message promised a wait time of under 50 minutes.

When I finally got through, I was told to call Target customer service directly for assistance. I did so, but the representative told me that they couldn't help me because Shipt is a third-party company. I went back to my confirmation link from Target and tried to chat with a representative named "Hugh". However, he was unhelpful and kept insisting that I wait another hour or two for the delivery to arrive. I asked him to confirm that the order had been shopped and that it would arrive that day, but he wouldn't give me a clear answer. He just kept telling me to wait.

I tried to contact Shipt support through email and phone, but I couldn't get through. I even tried chatting with a representative through my Target confirmation link, but she couldn't see any of my information and told me to wait for the Shipt team to come in. I was frustrated and upset that nobody was willing to help me or offer a refund or cancellation until the next day.

The lack of care from both Target and Shipt was a huge red flag for me. I've always loved Target, but I think they made a mistake by acquiring this company. I finally received a response to my email at 4:46am the next day, saying that they couldn't make the delivery window and had rescheduled for the following morning. I was so disappointed and frustrated that I had to take time off work to receive the delivery.

Overall, my experience with Shipt was unprofessional and disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone, and I hope that Target takes a closer look at their partnership with this company.

Shipt Shipt Review: Low Pay, Unsafe Driving, and Entitled Customers

Shipt is a grocery delivery service that allows you to shop for customers and deliver their groceries to their doorstep. It sounds like a great way to make some extra cash, but let me tell you, it's not as easy as it seems.

First of all, the pay is not great. You might see a job that pays $6, but that doesn't mean you'll actually make $6. You have to factor in the time it takes to get to the store, shop for the order, and drive to the customer's house. And let's not forget about the wear and tear on your car. You're using your own vehicle, which means you have to pay for gas and put miles on your car. Gas prices are through the roof these days, and it can really eat into your earnings.

And speaking of driving, it's not always safe. I was in an accident while doing a Shipt run. I was stopped at a red light, and a teenage girl who was texting while driving hit me. My insurance company cancelled me because they didn't want the liability. And to top it off, the customer didn't even tip me, even though they knew I was in an accident and was late delivering their groceries.

But even if you don't get into an accident, the pay can still be really pathetic. Customers don't always tip, and when they do, it's usually just a few dollars. And Shipt takes a cut of your earnings when you cash out, so you're not even getting the full amount you earned.

And let's not forget about the customers themselves. Some of them are really rude and entitled. They expect you to do everything for them, and they don't appreciate the work you're doing. And sometimes they add items to their list at the last minute, which can be really frustrating.

And then there's the issue of finding jobs. Sometimes you'll go days without seeing any jobs in your area. And when you do find a job, it might be in a different city, which means you have to drive even farther.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Shipt as a way to make money. It's just not worth the hassle and the low pay. If you're looking for a side gig, there are better options out there.

Shipt Shipt Review: Not Worth the Hassle - Frustrating Delivery Experience and Poor Customer Service

I gotta say, I was pretty darn frustrated with my recent experiences trying to get groceries delivered. I mean, come on, isn't the whole point of delivery to save time and hassle? But no, my previous order from Randalls was missing several items with no warning, so I decided to try out Shipt instead.

Now, I'm no stranger to the delivery nightmare, so I was skeptical. Shipt seemed a lot like Instacart, which has its own set of issues. But I decided to give it a shot, and I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised at first. Signing up as a Shipt Monthly member was a breeze, and I was able to link it to my Google account with no problem. I placed an $80 order and chose a delivery time of 4:00 p.m.

The delivery window seemed almost too good to be true - could they really get here in an hour? I didn't want to stress out my shopper, so I chose a later delivery time. But then the problems started. 4:00 p.m. came and went, and my order hadn't even been started yet.

I decided to contact Shipt through their Live Chat option, but I ended up waiting for what felt like an eternity. When I finally got a CSR online, they apologized and asked me to wait some more. I was getting pretty frustrated at this point, so I decided to call Shipt instead.

I got a guy named Brett on the phone, and he was pretty condescending from the get-go. He couldn't even find my account because it was under my Google name, not my real name. He then proceeded to lecture me about what Shipt is and how I could have found out more about it through Google. I mean, come on, dude, I just want my groceries!

I finally got him to cancel my membership and refund my fee, but I was still pretty peeved. Shipt seems to be built on a shaky foundation - relying on random people to pick up and deliver orders is just asking for trouble. Unless they're paying these shoppers a lot more than it seems like they are, there are going to be a lot of unclaimed orders and frustrated customers.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend Shipt. It's just not worth the hassle.

Shipt Frustrating Experience with Shipt: Lack of Communication and Technical Issues

I really like shopping at Target, it's my go-to store for most of my needs. However, due to my illness, I've been housebound for quite some time now, and it's become increasingly difficult for me to go out and do my own shopping. That's why I decided to give Shipt a try, especially since they offer a free trial. Unfortunately, my experience with Shipt has been quite frustrating, to say the least.

One of the biggest issues I've had with Shipt is their lack of communication. Whenever I've had a problem with an order, I've tried to contact them through their live chat, but I've never been able to get through to anyone. I've waited and waited, but nobody ever came on to help me. I've also sent them emails, but it takes them a long time to reply, which is not ideal when you have an urgent question about an order.

Another problem I've encountered with Shipt is that they seem to have merged with Target's website, which has caused all sorts of issues. For example, when I tried to place an order, the dates were all mixed up, and I couldn't figure out what was going on. I tried to contact Shipt to get some help, but I couldn't get through to anyone. Eventually, I had to take a chance and guess, which was not ideal. On another occasion, I tried to place an order twice, but both times the delivery time changed suddenly after I clicked on "place order," and there was no way to change it. Cancelling the first order resulted in some items not being available on the second attempt. It was a frustrating experience, to say the least.

Despite all these issues, I did manage to get one delivery from Shipt, and it wasn't too bad. The shopper arrived earlier than expected, which was great, but they got me the wrong size of an item, and I was charged for the larger size. It took me two phone calls and half an hour of wasted time to resolve the issue with Target.

Overall, my experience with Shipt has not been great, and I don't think I'll be continuing with the free trial. Amazon Fresh has provided a much better experience for me, even though I don't like Amazon very much.

Update - I decided to give Shipt one more try before giving up on it completely. Unfortunately, the same issues persisted. The delivery window changed suddenly, and I couldn't get through to anyone on live chat or email. The shopper delivered the shopping in order pickup bags, which made me wonder if they had even followed my instructions. When I checked the Target website after the delivery, the items I hadn't received but had been partly substituted were still there in the quantities I had ordered and not received. It was a frustrating experience, and I don't think I'll be using Shipt again.

Update - Even though I sent them an email before the end of the free trial to cancel, Shipt still charged me for an annual subscription. Their customer service is non-existent, and they don't seem to care about their customers. I sent them another email and tried to contact them through live chat, but I had to wait for over 40 minutes, and nobody ever came on to help me. As much as Target has improved their online shopping experience, Shipt is still a mess, and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Update - For the past month, I haven't been able to use my Target Redcard because of a mistake made by Shipt. They ignored my email cancellation before the end of my free trial, and Target has been blocking me from using my Redcard, saying I owe them $99. I sent them a cheque for the amount, but they haven't presented it to the bank yet, and they keep blaming it on the post office or me. It's been a frustrating experience, and I don't know if I even want to continue being a customer of Target's.

Shipt Unfair Deactivation: My Experience as a Shipt Shopper

I used to work for Shipt as a Shopper and I did a total of 165 deliveries. I was only rated 58 times, but most of those ratings were from when I first started. I even got a $100 tip on one of my deliveries! However, the next day I was deactivated for having a low rating. It doesn't make any sense to me because all of my stats were 100%. I always delivered on time and made sure the customers were happy. It's so harsh that they just throw people off like that without any warning or explanation. It's really frustrating because I enjoyed working for Shipt and I was making good money. I wish they would give people a second chance instead of just kicking them to the curb.

Shipt Disappointing Experience with Shipt Delivery Service: Lack of Communication and Delays

Shipt Shipt Delivery Fail: False Information and Disappointing Experience

So, I had a package coming from Best Buy and I used Shipt to get it delivered. The driver told me that she left it with the security guard, but when I went to pick it up, the guard told me that they aren't allowed to accept packages. I mean, come on, the gate is open 24 hours for deliveries, so why would the driver lie about this? I was really disappointed and frustrated with this experience. I don't think I can trust this company anymore.

Shipt Disappointed with Shipt: No Time Slots and Crazy Prices

So, I've been using Shipt for a while now and I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed. I mean, what's the point of filling up your cart with all the stuff you need if there's no time slot available for you to check out? It's been happening to me for over a month now and it's really frustrating. And don't even get me started on the prices - they're just crazy expensive.

I get it, times are tough and all that, but the least they could do is inform people that there are no time slots available before they spend an hour filling up their cart. It's just a waste of time and energy. And to top it all off, the prices are just ridiculous. I mean, I understand that they need to make a profit, but come on, give us a break.

Overall, I'm just really disappointed with Shipt. I thought it would be a great way to save time and money, but it's turned out to be the complete opposite. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, unless you're willing to pay a premium for the convenience.

Shipt Shipt Review: Buyer Beware of Marked-Up Prices and Extra Fees

I gotta say, I was pretty excited to try out Shipt. I mean, who wouldn't want to have their groceries delivered right to their door, am I right? But man, was I in for a shock when I got my bill. I thought it was gonna be a little high, but when I looked through it, almost every single item was marked up by at least 30%! I mean, come on, that's just ridiculous.

And don't even get me started on the extra fees. They say you might pay an extra $5 on a $35 order, but let me tell you, it's more like $10-15. That's an extra $30 or so on top of everything else, plus sales tax, plus the tip, plus their membership fee. It's like they're trying to squeeze every last penny out of you.

Honestly, I feel like I've been ripped off. I'm definitely gonna be letting the Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau know about this. I don't want anyone else to fall for this scam. Buyer beware, folks.

Shipt Disappointing Experience with Shipt: No Tips Received and Frustrating Customer Service

Shipt is not a good company to work for if you're looking to make some extra cash. I've been using their delivery service for a few days now to help pay some bills, but I've completed 11 orders and haven't received a single tip from any of the customers. It's really disappointing because I rely on those tips to make ends meet. I shouldn't have to wait for customers to tip me, it should be a given. I think I'm going to switch over to Instacart instead. Every time I call Shipt, I get a different story and it's just frustrating. Overall, I would not recommend Shipt to anyone looking to make some extra money. They're the worst company ever!

Shipt Shipt Review: Frustrating Expectations and Customer Fraud, Unresponsive Support, and Rating Challenges

Shipt is a service that allows you to order groceries and other household items online and have them delivered to your door. While the concept is great, the culture at Shipt can be unreasonable at times. As a shopper, you are expected to deliver large items like furniture and space heaters within a projected 1 hour time frame. This can be difficult and stressful, especially if you are not a moving company.

One of the biggest issues with Shipt is the CEO, Kelly Caruso. Many shoppers feel that she promotes intolerance and unrealistic expectations. This can make it difficult to work for the company and can lead to a lot of frustration.

Another issue with Shipt is customer fraud. Some customers will claim that items are missing from their order, even when there is proof of delivery. Unfortunately, Shipt does not address this issue and it can be frustrating for shoppers who are trying to do their job.

If you have any issues with Shipt, your only contact method is email "support". Unfortunately, this support is not very responsive and it can be difficult to get the help you need.

In order to maintain your job as a shopper, you must maintain a 4.7 rating. However, the platform itself cannot keep a rating over 4.0 elsewhere. This can be frustrating for shoppers who are doing their best but are still struggling to maintain a high rating.

Another issue with Shipt is that the pay does not include travel time to order pickup. This means that shoppers are not compensated for the time it takes to get to the store and pick up the items they need to deliver.

Finally, "Rating Forgiveness" is a joke. It seems to be automated and arbitrary, which can be frustrating for shoppers who are trying to improve their rating.

Overall, while Shipt can be a great service for customers, it can be a frustrating and difficult job for shoppers. The data usage is also very high, which can lead to crashes and other issues. If you are considering working for Shipt, be prepared for a challenging experience.

Shipt Beware of Hidden Charges: My Experience with Shipt Delivery Service

Shipt is a company that provides a service to deliver groceries and other household items straight to your doorstep. Shipt Terrible Customer Service and Frustration: My Experience with Shipt

I had a really bad experience with Shipt. My shopper did everything right and completed my order at Target for $186. She was ready to leave the store when there was some kind of error on their computer system and they canceled the order! She called me while she was on hold and I was so frustrated. I called Shipt and all they could say was "Sorry" and that it would take 10 DAYS to refund my money. They also said that the entire order would have to be placed again and re-shopped. I couldn't believe it! My bank card was charged within 30 seconds of the order being placed from Target, so why would it take 10 days to refund my money? It just didn't make any sense to me.

I was so disappointed with the terrible customer service on both ends. It was such a waste of my time, the shopper's time, and everyone else involved. I was really upset with Target for just canceling the order and not doing anything to help me. And I was even more upset with Shipt for doing absolutely nothing! They didn't offer any solutions or try to make things right. It was just a big mess.

I don't think I'll ever use Shipt again after this experience. It was just too frustrating and not worth the hassle. I hope they can improve their customer service and make things right for their customers in the future. But for now, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. If you're thinking about using Shipt, I would definitely think twice before doing so. It's just not worth the risk.

This is regarding a transaction through the Shipt app on March 4. Included in that order was one pack of chicken filets. The Shipt shopper charged me for a quantity of 16 and also delivered chicken tenders. Due to the error in quantity, my total was $102.41 (which includes a 10-cent bag fee). The chicken that was delivered was marked $12.14 vs. the $82.62 chicken line item I was charged. After three emails to the ***@shipt.com account, each time being tossed to different individuals (including someone who called me ***-not my name), I was repeatedly told I'd be refunded $52.23. $102.41-$82.62+$12.14=$31.93. My bank account showed a charge of $47.27. I explained this and also sent a picture of the incorrect item delivered to me with the price and the incorrect refund amount, but was ignored. I filed a dispute with my bank rather than continue repeating the same story and not having it comprehended. Shipt then suspended my membership without my knowing until I attempted to place a new order. I was told they did this because I disputed their error, thereby prohibiting me from using a service I paid an annual fee for in January. After a phone call and live chat March 17 about the freezing of my account in which I was told I'd hear back from someone at ***@shipt.com same day, I've heard nothing about the dispute. I sent another email March 18 and still nothing. So, five emails, one phone call and one live chat later, I'm asking for the membership fee to be refunded since I didn't buy the membership thinking this company would punitively suspend a service I already paid for because they didn't like the fact that I had opened a dispute with my bank due to their own error. They're happy to take my money and then pull the service, be completely incompetent in customer service and also continue having me in auto-renewal for a membership I currently can't even use. Bad behavior all around. What a disappointment from such a large company.

I placed a order on s*** this is probably a second order I've had with them... I did not receive the goods I ordered from ***'s have to order was missing in half the order was spoiled or damaged items it's been going on a week now and I have got no response from the payments team this is the only money I had in my account to order food for me and my daughter now I am steady waiting and borrowing money to get by this is ridiculousness... Then even the associate said the management team doesn't even want to put a time frame on the response because they don't know when they're respond this is really poor business stay far away from shipt... The drivers are not communicating and they are thieves and. Shipt takes right up for them trying to hold on to people's money knowing that kind of me that we live in. Shameful

I ordered a dyson heater fan from Best Buy for $846. They contracted Shipt to get it to me on the same day. Shipt pushed the same day delivery to the next day (forgivable), however the next morning I got notification that the package had been delivered but there was no package at my house or any of my neighbors. I called Shipt and after investigating they said the driver claimed that after he picked up the item he had car troubles so he returned the item to the store. But I was notified that it was delivered to me via text from Shipt. I asked the customer service at ***, if I hadn't called would I have been informed of this in anyway and she essentially said no. So I paid nearly $900 for a fan that the delivery driver "returned" to the store after suddenly having "car troubles" after picking it up. Their business model enables their drivers to steal products such as my Dyson fan that have already been paid for by the customer, WITH NO RECOURSE.

On November 25, 2022 I placed an order with Shipt. The order number was ***. I did not receive the correct order and there was no communication from the shopper. I spoke with Shipt and was told I would receive a credit for $157.86. I never received the refund and contacted Shipt. They told me to contact the bank in which I did after the waiting period of 10 days. My bank told me to file a dispute against Shipt to get a refund as they never received the refund. I followed the process from Shipt and my Bank. Now Shipt has locked my account because I filed a dispute. After several calls and emails still no resolution.

Hey I ordered 2 iPad Pro from Best Buy in October and never received them so I contacted them tryin to get my refund back but they say I cant because Im the information its says it been shipping I never got aint thing I just want my money for something I never got
