Popeyes review: Awful tasting chicken

I was passing thru Shorter, AL and as always when leaving the casino, I stopped at Popeyes. Immediately, I noticed that there were four employees outside in a huddle. When I was at the drive thru, no one came to the speaker but there was one lady struggle alone at the drive thru window, so we went inside and placed our order to go. In the car and back on the highway, we noticed that our order was a complete mess, but it was too late too far to turn around. We did not get the spicy chicken. And the chicken we did get was crispy on the outside but filled with raw batter on the inside! This was unusual for this restaurant because they always have the best chicken. This chicken was awful, wet, tough and tasted days old. I guess this was why they were huddled together outside. I just can't believe they actually served it. It actually made me nauseous.
