On the 24th of August my profile on meetme was permanently banned.I don't understand why. I received no warning but was banned immedietly. I was a loyal meetme customer for two years. I favorited streamers that became my friend and gifted them very well. I didn't expect anything in return from my favorite streamers or meetme in itself. Can someone please let me know what rules I violated be ause I don't know what happened. I was on the app alot and really liked it. Was al.ost a level forty one. I woul like my app restored to the way it was before I got banned. If I don't get an answer I won't contact customer service any longer. Thank you for your assistance.

They don't investigate any cases of scam, they do nothing to deter scammers from signing up. This site is very miserable compared to AdultsFun.club

- I know what I pay for there: the overall higher caliber of women and absence of scammers. It's real and safe. I know that it's real because I went on dates through them. The women don't play stupid and don't ask me for money. I could not find at least one genuine woman with good looks on MeetMe - just a bunch of scammers. Be very cautious with this site, it's better to avoid it!

I witness tons of actual nudity on MeetMe EVERYDAY and these users don’t get banned. I see men shirtless ALL the time.

I was wearing appropriate attire when sleeping on my couch and I was banned. I was NOT naked or sexually suggestive. THIS IS Ridiculous! That I received a 2 week ban for NO NUDITY. And this happened right before payout. It is not fair that I’m banned until July 1.

I even have witness in my stream email you . This is not the first time I was “banned in error”.

Get ready for a long review. MyYearbook used to be a great alternative to Facebook and allowed you to meet *new* people, not just those you already know. It was later renamed to MeetMe and it went downhill from there.

MeetMe was then purchased by an investment firm. Like all corporations, profit is more important than user satisfaction. There's very little moderation (despite a prominent "Report Abuse" link in the upper-right corner of the desktop website), allowing sexual predators and other people you'd never want to meet in real life to sign up.

Due to people leaving the platform in droves, MeetMe had to do something to make their user statistics look good for their shareholders, hence the fake profiles. This is securities fraud BTW, but the government doesn't care.

MeetMe tried to minimize the number of fake profiles by randomly flagging new accounts for "verification" via text message, but nothing changed.

The desktop website has been abandoned (redesigned and stripped of features) in favor of the mobile app. It's been in a perpetual beta state since (meetme.com redirects to beta.meetme.com, although traces of the old website remain).

Other features have been removed over the years. The most popular was "Discuss", a feed consisting of photos and status updates from people in your area. It's been replaced with "Live", a live video streaming feature where viewers can spend real money on "coins" as gifts for the streamers. After a certain number of coins have been collected, streamers can cash them in for real money. MeetMe is known for deleting streamers' accounts for no reason and pocketing the money.

Since Live was introduced, the majority of users are attention-seekers with no intention of meeting anyone in person (MeetMe's original purpose).

The final nail in the coffin is face verification, which replaced the former text message verification. This requires an Android or iOS device with a front-facing camera. You must accept the TOS (which allows MeetMe to sell your biometric data to third parties), place your face in a small oval, then tap an "I'm Ready" button. The oval enlarges, requiring you to move closer.

This rarely works correctly; it may require a clearer image or to "hold steady" for several seconds. If it does succeed, you may receive the following error:

"You have verified the maximum number of accounts. Please delete any previously verified accounts and try again".

You'll be locked out of your account and cannot proceed further. MeetMe does have the option of contacting their support team ([protected]@meetme.com) to request account verification. You'll need to provide your full name, country, and the e-mail address of the account in question.

Just for kicks, I created a MeetMe account (for the last time) earlier today. I prefer desktop over mobile, but it's no longer possible to sign up using the desktop website (only sign in). This is due to the face verification requirement.

I successfully signed up using the iOS app; it didn't even ask me to verify. All was well until I signed into the desktop website and received a "Verify your account - Download MeetMe" message. I switched back to the app and successfully scanned my face, but then received the dreaded "too many accounts" error despite not having any other accounts.

I e-mailed MeetMe Support and they manually verified my account and asked me to sign in again. I did so (using the desktop website) and guess what? Same "Verify your account - Download MeetMe" message. I let them know it's asking to verify again and they manually verified my account a second time. I went straight into the app and deleted my account ASAP.

MeetMe had great potential, only to be ruined by corporate greed. I no longer recommend this app to anyone.

I was cyber bullied and cyber stalked people messed with my head by rude behavior and wouldn't stop accusing me of stuff I didn't do I don't stalked anyone one I quit social media 3 months ago a gov name was given to me by a streamer I was cyber stalk cyber buiied for a year off 4 4 apps and told to kill my self and ppl said they staged it 3 months ago and forced off social media because I didn't want to deal with it I long time ago when we report it nothing happens to their ACCTS they just make new ones

Facial recognition not working in a positive manner you need to change it to a personal pin number to login a lot easier because my head's about to explode over this nonsense my name is Alfonz Lallave and I've been with the website meetme.com and the sister site Scout for a little while and it used to be easy to log in but no longer fix this please

I have contacted meet me by email 17 times over a friend of mine being catfished on this site . They stole her pictures and the information of where she lives . Uploaded her pictures and slandered her name right on the site . I have emailed meet me on various occasions 17 times in fact to get the profile removed as it’s slandering her name and her life . Meet me replies are it doesn’t go against our standards. Which surely is false as there inpersonating a person giving false information about that person and now the person is poorly and in hospital. They have recieved all the emails proof and still the profiles are still on the site . Today I got another email stating that my friend needs to send a picture of herself to the email address to confirm her identity. She isn’t on the meet me site she as a husband . The. They disclose they cannot fine the profiles yet 5 mins ago the 2 profiles where active . Bullying and harassment as come into force where people can be now jailed yet meet me suggests it okay for a person to impersonate another person online and keep the profile this site need to be either shut down or someone needs to seriously tackle this problem . No way should someone be allowed to upload a fake picture and attack a persons life business and also fraud people and meet me is allowed to keep them profiles up . This is vile and shocking

My name is Valeisha Moore. Someone has copied my facebook information and created an account on MeetMe. Within the past week, 6 strange guys have come to my door looking for me because they were supposedly chatting with me on MeetMe. I have never considered creating any kind of account because I have been happily married for 19 years with with 3 little girls. When a guy comes to my door asking for me when I have 3 kids there as well, that is f*cking dangerous and very scary! When I tell the guys that someone has stolen my identity, they call me a f*cking [censored] and leave. One guy even sat out in my driveway for 30 minutes before coming to the door. Luckily my husband had pulled in the driveway and told the man to leave. I don't know who is doing this but there is a girl named Lisa Back, could be a fake name, has sent me horrible emails, texts, tiktoks, and phone calls saying that my husband is cheating on me. He denies it all. This person has also sent texts, messages, and tiktoks to all 3 of my children and my sister. I am getting really scared. I have sent multiple complaints on my phone to Meet Me; yet nothing has been done. I know this because another guy just showed up at my door as I am typing this.

I have tried logging into meetme and it said password invalid when I have not changed it. I deleted the app the. Reinstalled it and still it won't login. I have done forgot password and it won't send a link or anything to my email. I have contacted support and still nothing. I have done the forget password multiple times and still I have not received one email or assistance with this.

I was banned for nudity and I was never nude. No one was on my stream naked and I was wearing sweatpants and a sweater. Meetme banned me for three days and I have no way to call customer service to remove this misunderstanding. This app
Is terrible when it comes up to updates and knowing if someone is really naked or not. This is ridiculous that I get banned while I'm trending. Took me hours to stream and get to where I was at to be banned for nothing.

meetme profile account closed advised it violated their terms of service. no reason given for the violation.

not sure what I did wrong exactly. so disappointed not able to use it any more.

The verification function is not working properly I had done it thousand time to verify my account. My account is very old and I don't want to change it. After completing the verifying task the msg come again and again unable to verify, I have attached the screenshot of it. The same issue is happening to many streamers who are clean and happy to use your app but they have to change the platform because of that idiot way that you have to verify people, whoever purpose that must be a spy or agent of any other app, who want your app user to go down like hell

I am a single mother, who is also in lockdown. Meetme banned me for 2 weeks for something so minor. I have asked to have this comprised as I didn't deserve a 2 week ban. I asked for it to be escalated yet they ignored that also. I stream for both mental health and also to gain extra money on the side. I begged them to lift the ban sooner yet they didn't care and I am appalled at this. You would think they would have a duty of care. My live stream has bought them a good amount of money. I always do the right thing yet they ban me for 2 weeks and won't even compromise with me when I apologised and was unaware of me stepping the line

You guys are asking for verification photos when I took it and now it's saying I have to tame more then I take them and it said the scans didn't match, make this make sense, July 28 I believe was the first time I did it why am i getting flagged, spare those details .

Account varification broken... fix it

I need my account to be verified and you guys will not respond to me I am really upset because I am a top streamer and I make a lot of money for you guys in this account and then you guys take my cash out from me so I made you guys over $600 and I can't even get my 200

I keep receiving an invalid email error and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, along with resetting my router, checking to make sure my proxy setting haven't been changed and have reached out to support 3 times in the last 3 days... I still have not received any support regarding the issue. This is not the first time I have dealt with this reoccurring issue... What's the point of being a MeetMe + member when I can't even use the app?

Meetme is still verifying me and nobody is doing anything I've tried getting some help but nobody wants to do anything
