MDG MDG.com Review: F Rating for Terrible Customer Service and Unreliable Promises

This website, mdg.com, caught my eye with their tempting prices for their products. So, I went ahead and decided to order an 82-inch TV. Boy, was that a mistake! My experience with this company was a disaster. The process of buying the TV was the worst time-consuming process I have ever encountered. The customer agent, Sergio, was unable to handle my request efficiently, and I had to send in my information about five times. It was a frustrating experience, to say the least.

After weeks of paperwork, I finally verified my information and was ready for my TV to be shipped. But, alas! I received a call from Sergio with some bad news - the TV was no longer available. Instead, he suggested I get a 75-inch TV. I was so angry after all the back and forth issues I had to go through. If I wanted a 75-inch TV, I would have ordered it. To add to the frustration, Sergio said that there were no other 82-inch TV's available anytime soon.

I requested to speak to the supervisor of the company, but to no avail. Sergio did not even know the names of his supervisors - talk about incompetence! Every time I called, I spoke to Sergio, who was no help at all. This company is not trustworthy. They show you things that they cannot promise after the verification process; unacceptable!

The customer service of this company was terrible. They did not deliver what I ordered. And even after messing up, they wanted to push something I did not want. Beware of this company, and do not do business with them unless you enjoy the chaos. I wish I could give them a zero rating! If it sounds too good to be true, it likely is. I am giving them an F rating for customer service and following through their commitment to correct any wrong they have done. This company needs to work on their ethics and be responsible for their actions. I am one angry customer!

MDG Review of mdg.com: Delayed Delivery and Poor Customer Service

I recently ordered a 65" TV from mdg.com and was approved for credit when no one else would give me a chance. The condition was to make six payments of $33 each before the item would ship. Not a bad deal, I thought.

The six weeks went by and payments were taken out of my account as promised. However, after the last payment came out, I expected to hear from my account rep about scheduling delivery. Four days passed, but I didn't receive any call. I contacted customer service and they told me that it usually takes a few days to finalize the order and that I should get a call shortly. Two more days went by and still there was no call, so I called customer service again.

This time, they informed me that I still owed a balance of $4.70 before the item could be shipped. I was confused because I had made the agreed-upon pre-payments. Also, my account rep never called me. They reluctantly agreed to take out the payment, but I told them I expected an immediate call for scheduling delivery. But the next day came and still no call.

I left two messages on my rep's answering machine and sent messages via Facebook, but no one contacted me. I called again the following day and ask to speak with the manager, who stated that there was a hold on my order for $4.70, and he released the hold. He also told me that someone from finance would call me to finalize delivery.

Later that day, I got an email to call the finance department to finalize the order. But when I called, I was given the third-degree, with questions about phone numbers from five years ago that were on my credit report. Finally, after 30 more minutes on the phone, the woman said someone would call me to schedule delivery.

I finally got an email confirming that my item was shipped and someone would contact me. But when the item reached the local warehouse, I didn't receive a call. When I tried calling the company delivering the item, Ceva Logistics, no one answered the phone. I finally sent an email to the company and got a phone number to call.

I am scheduled to receive the delivery this Friday, three weeks after my final pre-payment. It has been a time-consuming and tedious process, and I had to do a lot of legwork myself because their employees seemed to be not on the ball at all.

If you plan to order from mdg.com, be prepared to wait for a long time and to be persistent in getting updates about your order. Although they provide credit, they seem to have a disorganized system.

MDG MDG.com Review: Frustrating Process and Poor Customer Service - Would Not Recommend

I ordered something from mdg.com back on December 10th, and boy has it been a wild ride. They took my downpayment on December 21st, and I confirmed the amount they took out on December 22nd. Then, on December 26th, I received a phone call from the verification department to confirm my order. The representative told me I would receive a tracking number on December 28th, but I still haven't received it yet.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings about this company. If I were to recommend them, I'm not sure what I would say. I still haven't received a tracking number, and they have already received two payments from me. If I don't receive the tracking number by the end of today (December 28th), I might just cancel the whole thing and buy the product myself.

It's frustrating because I decided to use mdg.com because the payments were convenient and fit my budget. Despite my almost 700 credit score, they are charging me 30% APR on my purchase - that's insane! And with such a long and annoying process, I have to wonder if it was even worth it.

I plan on updating this review as things progress, but as of right now, I would recommend that if you have the cash to go buy something, do that instead of using mdg.com.

December 28th Update:*** This is beyond annoying. I contacted customer service to ask about my tracking number, and they told me my order won't ship until January 2nd due to the holidays. What a load of BS! I just ordered two packages from a company in Ontario that have already shipped. Why can't they ship my order?

At this point, I would not recommend using mdg.com. I tried contacting customer service again to see if they could ship my item today (December 31st), but I haven't received a response. It seems like they don't care about my business because if I had paid full price at Amazon, I wouldn't be treated like [censored]. They want me to pay almost double for a product over time, but they can't even help me get my product before school starts? Ugh.

Another Update:*** I can't believe this company. On January 2nd, I was told that my item would ship with a tracking number, but here we are, and I still haven't received anything. The website says "Preparing to ship order", but it's been three weeks. The next payment comes out on Friday, and I still don't have my item. I am beyond pissed off at this point. They won't return my emails or phone calls, and it seems like they're completely ignoring me.

Overall, this has not been worth it. I'm really glad that my experience has gotten 1,500 views because this is such a shady company. I would not recommend using mdg.com.

MDG MDG.com Review: Cracked 85" Samsung TV Received, Poor Customer Service

So I bought this huge-[censored] 85" TV from mdg.com cuz my basement was gettin' a sweet remodelin'. Of course, the reno ended up takin' way longer than I thought - like, three weeks - and the TV arrived 16 days late. But hey, no biggie, right? I couldn't use it yet anyway. So I left it in the box in my foyer until I could finally bust it out for some sweet, sweet movie watchin'.

Except when I did finally unpack it all, I found out the screen was cracked! What the frick?! MDG said sorry, but I was already past my 30-day return window. I wasn't even ASKIN' for a return, I just wanted a replacement! But they said that still counted as a return. So I was screwed. I couldn't use a $1700 TV that had a busted screen. That's not fair.

So MDG gave me a phone number for a Samsung repair shop up in Canada. Like, what?! I live in Georgia, y'all. That's a long way to send a TV for repairs. When I called them again, they told me to find my own repair shop. Seriously?! That's some crap customer service right there if ya ask me. So I called Sears instead.

When the Sears tech came to look at the TV, he saw right away that somethin' was fishy. The TV was still in the box, with all the original packing and everything. And there was no clear shatter-resistant film on the screen like there shoulda been. That's some sketchy stuff, man. The tech said he wasn't even gonna touch it. He could tell just from lookin' that it was shipped to me in that condition. And there was no damage to the box or Styrofoam, so what gives?

I called MDG a third time and finally talked to someone who seemed like they were gonna help. They promised to forward my stuff to the top dogs and call me back the next day. But they never did. So I called 'em a fourth time, and they gave me that same no-returns crap again. What am I supposed to do with this broken TV, huh?!

So now I got this huge-[censored] TV still in the box in my brand-new basement. Thanks a lot, MDG. But I ain't takin' this crap lyin' down. I got two licensed and certified Samsung techs to back me up in court. I hope MDG knows they messed with the wrong dude. And I stopped their authorized payments, too. They got one more week to contact me before I toss this junk in the trash. Thanks for nothin', MDG. Maybe Samsung oughta watch who they sell their stuff to, huh?

MDG MDG Review: Killer Products, Amazing Service & Best Prices!

Man, let me tell you about my experience with MDG. I recently got myself a PS4Pro, a Polk Sigma sound bar, and a QLED Samsung TV, and I couldn't be happier with Nathan's service! He really went the extra mile to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase. It's so refreshing to deal with a professional who is also personable, you know what I mean?

Anyway, the TV took a little longer than I expected to arrive, but everything else went really smoothly. And boy, let me tell you, the picture on that QLED TV is absolutely fantastic! I swear it's like I'm not even watching TV, it's so sharp and clear. You really get what you pay for with a QLED TV - it's definitely the best picture out there.

The sound bar is equally amazing - it's like sitting in a movie theater! My only quibble is that it could go a bit louder, but the bass is great and you can adjust all of the settings with the remote. One feature I really love is the voice setting, which makes speech clearer and easier to understand. When I'm watching NASCAR, for example, I can hear every single word the drivers say over their radios. It's awesome!

And don't even get me started on the PS4Pro. It blows my old PS3 out of the water in terms of graphics. Seriously, games like Spider-Man look like they're from another world - it's mind-blowing. I also bought a sniper game set in WW1 Italy and it's like I'm actually there! The graphics are fantastic, and I love how seamless the gameplay is. No more waiting around for things to load - it's all so smooth!

Now, before I bought through MDG, I checked out a bunch of other stores. Walmart, you name it. But MDG's prices were way lower than any of the others - even with my other credit cards, MDG had them beat. And you know what? I'm actually using MDG to help rebuild my credit. It's a win-win situation for me!

Overall, I can't recommend MDG highly enough. Great prices, amazing service, and killer products. Thanks Nathan, thanks MDG, and you bet I'll be back for more upgrades in the future!

MDG Beware of MDG: Unreliable and Dishonest Company

I started my journey with MDG with a lot of excitement. Victor, my agent at MDG was trying his best to help me out. However, it seems that the company he works for has no idea how to treat its customers. I was happy when I was approved for a little less than the maximum amount and gave Victor a list of items I wanted to purchase along with all the information he requested. He even asked for my bank info to conduct an IBV. But, as things moved forward, it became quite complicated.

First, I was told to pay a deposit equivalent to the first payment which was mentioned late in the process. I thought it was odd but went along with it. They asked me to leave the money in my account for a few days until the payment passed and then they would ship my items. Soon after, they asked me to provide a copy of my bank transactions for the past month. I was confused as they had already conducted an IBV, but I had to go to the bank again and get prints to send them. When the deposit passed in my account, they asked me to confirm the exact amount withdrawn, and the decimals were randomly selected for confirmation. Then, I was told we had to wait until the money was in their account which could take a few more days. This was pushing the timeline to almost 2 weeks which was not what was advertised.

I was getting impatient and asked why they had to wait when I had already provided the right amount withdrawn. However, I was told to go back to the bank again or wait for 3 more business days. By this time, we had signed a contract, and I wanted to get it done and shipped before the weekend. I went to the bank and got the prints they asked for, which showed exactly what they wanted to see. However, I was then told that I had to add another $160 in the deposit or they wouldn't send my stuff. I was shocked and almost certain it was a fraud.

We had made a deal, signed a contract, and they took my money. But then, they demanded more money or else I wouldn't get anything. I decided to pay me back because I had had enough. After negotiations, the company agreed to a partial payment, but I still had to pay more deposit and wait for my items to arrive. All this trouble and drama for just a tablet and 2 hard drives!

I deeply regret dealing with MDG. It started off well, but it only got worse from there. The company had not been honest with me, demanded more money at every turn, and delayed my order more than they had advertised. I would advise anyone to be cautious when dealing with this company and not be fooled by their offers. I am attaching two photos to show the confirmation they sent after taking my money and changing their mind, and what I received was a lot less in materials than what I was cleared for.

MDG Buyer Beware: Shady Business Practices and False Advertising at mdg.com

I'll tell ya what, I had a real doozy of a time with mdg.com this week. I was in the market for a new laptop, specifically an Asus ROG Strix Scar. They had it listed for a sweet discounted price of $1399, which was like $300 cheaper than other sites, until July 11th. So I went through the whole process of applying for credit, giving 'em all my bank info, and even uploading a bill to verify my address. It all seemed a little excessive to me, but hey, my credit is in the pooper, so what's a guy to do?

Anyway, I finally made it to the last step where they debit your account to verify it, and I decided to double-check the specs on the laptop I was buying. Lo and behold, the specs listed were not what I had agreed to when I made the purchase. Instead of the i7 8750H, 144Hz ips 17.3" display, GTX 1070 GPU, 16GB RAM, and 256GB M. 2 SSD w/ 1TB Firecuda SSHD, it now said I was getting a GTX 1050 with a 120Hz display. That's a huge downgrade, like not even in the same ballpark.

So I called their customer service and spoke to a lady who sounded like she was straight outta Moscow or somethin'. She kept askin' me what specs I wanted, even though I had already told her multiple times, and insisted that what I had agreed to was what was advertised. Luckily, I had taken a screenshot of the original specs, so I sent it to her and she was like, "Oh, that one's out of stock, we have this one instead." And that was that. They were just gonna send me an inferior product and not say a word.

I was not happy about this at all, let me tell ya. I talked to my account manager, Milos, who basically told me the same thing. He did offer to check with marketing to see if there had been a mistake, but he was pretty sure that what I had ordered was what they had in stock. Long story short, I cancelled my order and took my business elsewhere. Ain't nobody got time for shady business practices like that.

If you do decide to shop at mdg.com, just be aware that they might try to pull a fast one on ya. And their customer service reps all sound like they're speaking a foreign language, which is fine, but it did make me a little uneasy about handing over all my personal info. So ya might wanna invest in some identity fraud protection just in case.

MDG Disappointing Delay & Poor Customer Service Experience with MDG Computer Purchase

We recently placed an order for a computer on mdg.com and were disappointed with the delay in shipment. We were given a delivery date of March 22nd, so we took the day off to wait for the shipment. However, at around 3pm on that day, we called UPS and were informed that there was no shipment. We reached out to MDG customer service to inquire about the status of our order since UPS had already notified us that we would be receiving it. It turned out that "parts" were missing from our order.

After speaking with a supervisor who was supposed to call us back on Friday, we received no response. Instead, we woke up on Saturday morning to an email indicating that our order would be shipped out on Monday. Unfortunately, we were once again disappointed as the shipment did not go out until Tuesday. Had our order gone out on Monday, we would have received it on Thursday. However, due to the delay, we had to wait until Monday, April 2nd, which was inconvenient as we were away for the weekend. We won't receive our order until Tuesday, April 3rd, which is frustrating.

Adding to our frustration, the first payment for our order was already taken out, even though we had not yet received it. Additionally, two of the agents we spoke with undermined the service of UPS by saying that overnight delivery was not recommended as parcels are not handled with care and that sometimes UPS forgets to scan in palettes of orders. However, after speaking with UPS, we learned that palettes are not scanned in until they reach the shipping docks and are unpacked. Our customer service experience was less than satisfactory, with some agents being uninformed about the relationship between UPS and MDG.

Furthermore, when we expressed our dissatisfaction with the delay, one agent told us hundreds of orders go out all the time, which felt dismissive and devaluing. Although we have been loyal customers for years, paying off a bed, a laptop, and recently purchasing furniture and a new computer, we were still treated as insignificant.

We understand that issues can happen, but there was no communication to inform us that our order would be delayed, which required us to initiate contact with MDG to find out what was going on. Based on our experience, we feel like we were doing someone else's job. As customers, we order, pay, and expect to be happy. Educating their agents about their relationship with their shipping partner, UPS, would be a big step in improving customer experience and avoiding similar incidents in the future.

We believe that our feedback is valuable and hope that this review will be considered and lead to improvements within the company. To help rectify the situation, we were offered a $50 credit on our bill, but we feel that this does not adequately compensate for the inconvenience and frustration we experienced. We had hoped for more, such as a second tablet, especially since the first was offered for free.

Overall, we stand by our opinion that our customer experience with MDG was less than impressive. We hope that in the future, the company can do better by their valued customers.

MDG MDG - A Great Way to Build Credit and Get Financing!

My first time dealing with MDG was a bit nerve-wracking because of all the mixed reviews I had read. However, I decided to take a chance and I'm glad I did. The laptop I received on a payment plan wasn't the newest model, but it's still a great product for all my needs. Plus, I appreciate that it's upgradeable so I can add more power and speed as needed.

The payment plan they offered was very affordable and I was even able to double my payments to pay off my loan faster without any penalties. Most companies try to squeeze every penny out of customers, but MDG seemed genuinely interested in helping me own my laptop. They sent me emails for a long time before I finally decided to do a credit check. Surprisingly, I was approved for more credit than I expected, and I had enough for my laptop plus a few other items. I decided to get just the laptop and a bag, which I wanted to be more feminine.

However, the process of getting my laptop was a bit tedious. Each time my order was reviewed or changed departments, they needed me to send in more paperwork. It would have been nice to know everything they needed up front, but I'm happy I stuck with it because my laptop is amazing! MDG staff have also been so helpful, from doing the credit check to arranging an easy payment plan. They even shipped my laptop for free.

One of the best things about MDG is that they report to the credit companies, helping customers build credit with on-time payments. This is a great way to improve credit scores, which is something everyone needs nowadays. I've read some bad reviews about MDG, but most of them seem to come from people who had unrealistic expectations or just didn't want to wait for the process. It takes a little patience, but it's worth it to get financing for items you might not have been able to afford otherwise.

Overall, I'm very happy with my experience with MDG. They have been so helpful, kind, and genuine throughout the entire process. I'm definitely going to be a customer for life! Thank you, MDG!

MDG Terrible Experience with MDG Finance: Unreliable Shipping and Poor Customer Service

This company (MDG Finance) is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I bought a TV and when it arrived it was damaged. I called MDG right away and told them about the damage. They said to take pictures and email them to the person I was talking to. They said that they would email me a shipping label after that. I did what they told me to do. Several hours passed and I still didn't get a shipping label, so I called them back. I asked to speak with the person I emailed the photos to, but they weren't there. I had to explain the situation to someone else. They asked me to email the photos to them and they would send me a shipping label. I did that, but several hours passed and I still didn't get a shipping label.

I called MDG back and got the same person I talked to earlier. I asked them to send me a shipping label, but they said they didn't get the photos. I checked my email sent box and both emails had been sent. I asked if they could send the photos to me via text message, but they said no. I was getting very upset at this point and demanded that they send me a shipping label while I was on the phone. I finally got the shipping label.

What if I didn't want the TV and just wanted to send it back? I would not have had photos because I was just sending it back. Would I not get a shipping label? I was told that once the TV was returned to UPS and was scanned into the system, they would send me a new TV. 24 hours passed and I still hadn't received an email that they had shipped a new TV to me. I saw on my UPS app that UPS had received the TV at 5:30 pm that day. I called MDG back and was told they would ship it out by the end of the day or first thing in the morning.

I waited until late afternoon the next day and still no email about shipping the TV. I called them again, and the operator asked me to verify my address before they could ship another TV. I told her that I had already done that. If I hadn't done that, I would never have gotten the TV they shipped to me. The lady insisted I upload a new document with proof of address. I explained again that I already did this and a TV was shipped to me. The lady asked who I sent the document to, and after looking through ALL of my deleted emails, I found the email with my proof of address and gave her the name.

She said that this person was not qualified to ask or except this document and I needed to send her another one. I was really upset by this time and forwarded that email with the document and she told me my old address was on that document. I couldn't read the document because the print was too small, but I know my new address was on there. She insisted that I send another document with proof of my address and I was not going to do that again. I asked to speak with a supervisor, but was told there wasn't a supervisor available. I asked for a refund and the operator told me I had to return the HDMI cable I ordered or I would be charged for it. I told her I never got it, but she didn't believe me.

Eventually, I just told MDG to forget the TV and refund my money. The next day, I got an email saying a TV had already been shipped and was on its way. I guess the operator wasn't aware of it when I spoke to her. I'm really upset with this company and I'm disappointed that nobody apologized for the inconvenience they caused me.

MDG I feel like they lie and mislead people.

I signed up for their service. I filled out all the paperwork. They took payments. After multiple payments were taken I contacted them looking for my phone. I was then informed that I would have to make 6 payments before they would send my phone. By then the phone would be 75% paid for. That's not credit. I was told I had $1900.00 in credit. But that's not what I got. I'm still waiting for my refund from canceling.

Desired outcome: A full refund of my "down payment".

MDG Captivating and Heartfelt: A Review of [Book/Film/TV Show]

We bought a washer and dryer from these people. At the end of Sept 2021. We started paying for the washer/dryer on Sept 30 was our first payment. We do not have a washer and dryer here in the house so every time we need to do laundry it costs upwards of 708$ they gave us a couple $50 credits but really... that is a joke compared to what we are spending on the laundromat. MDG told us the machines are coming from the brick. We happen to have one of the best run Bricks in all of Canada. The man there is very nice, has helped us with another matter in the past, whole process was painless. Now the laundry team... the man from the brick went thru the entire inventory that the brick has, he found 40 sets of machines that are equivalent to the set we bought, sitting in a warehouse less than an hour from where we are. I emailed a Steve Stikovic and an Ivana V. (whose name shows up in MDG's bad reviews,). But Steve and Ivana are not responding to me at all. We are paying for this set of washer and dryer since Sept 30 twice a month with delivery date that keeps getting pushed. First it was 2 weeks, then 3, then 5, then 9, now they are telling us we won't have them until the 3rd week of January 2022. We paid for express shipping which I think they refunded I'm not sure because this is taking so long. We pay at least 70$ a week at the laundromat sometimes more depending on IF we have the money to spare. They are saying these machines won't be here until 3rd week of January. How many times have you washed your clothes since September 27th? I have added the order number in the space provided and took a screenshot so you can't say I didn't include it to prolong this nightmare any longer. All we have for proof is loads of emails back and forth.

MDG MDG.com Review: Don't Waste Your Time and Money - Use Progressive Leasing

So there's this site called mdg.com, and u can get "approved" real easy, but once u try to checkout- that's when the party starts. They want ur banking info and stuff, which is kinda weird, but who cares, amirite?

Anyway, my wife and I have been banking at the same place for 7 years, and we never overdraft or anything. We even had thousands in deposits in the last 2 months, but when we sent them our bank statements, they jacked up our down payment from 32 bucks to 161 bucks! Like wtf, right? And we live in Arkansas, where everything is cheap, so we got a brand new house with a 2 car garage for only 1000 a month.

Their excuse was that our "daily ending balances were low," but duh, my wife keeps everything in savings until we gotta pay for something. Plus, it makes it harder for people to steal our money and stuff. Did they ask why our balances were low? Nope. They just multiplied the down payment by six, and that was that.

Plus, the reps were rude and acted like I shoulda known they would pull that stuff! So forget them, and use Progressive leasing instead. It only took me like 15 mins to get approved, and I was on my way to Best Buy to buy all my stuff that same day.

Oh, and did I mention the shipping was like 150 bucks for an Xbox One S, a Switch Lite, and a kitchen mixer - and that was just regular ground shipping, not even special or anything! Like, seriously, how do these guys even know what criteria to use?

So yeah, don't waste ur time with mdg.com. Go use Progressive leasing, or just find something else altogether. Trust me, it ain't worth the hassle.

MDG Disappointed with MDG.com's Verification Process: Changed Payment Date & No Show Delivery

I gotta say, it's been a real struggle from the start with mdg.com. At first, it was easy peasy to talk to somebody when I wanted to buy a new laptop. But when I called back a few times to go over something called "verification process," it was a whole different story. I was told somebody would call me back but they never did. Even though I called again and again!

When I finally went through the verification process, the verifier asked me when I wanted to make my payment and I said Thursday. Everything was fine... until they told me that my payment due date had to be on the day I get my paycheck, which is Tuesdays. Why can't they just stick to what they said in the beginning? It's not fair that they can change the rules like that!

Sometimes I don't get paid on time, which is why I picked Thursday in the first place. But now I have to work around their new schedule, which is totally inconvenient for me. And I didn't appreciate the sneakiness of it all. Also, they sent a UPS to my house without any warning! I had to take the day off work and prepare my dogs for a stranger, and then nobody even showed up. What a waste of my time!

Honestly, I'm very disappointed in this whole process. I usually don't bother leaving reviews online, but I really feel like I need to speak to somebody about this.

MDG Frustrating experience with MDG - Will not purchase from again!

So I just got my hands on my third computer from MDG, and let me tell you, it's gonna be my last. The whole process was just frustrating. They took my payment and approved my documents, but then they started with the 20 questions. They even called my employer twice! Who does that? It's just not right. And I had to talk to their shipping agent twice too. Like, come on guys, get it together.

The first time I called back, they did the whole 20 questions thing all over again. I was told that my computer would be shipped out the next Wednesday by UPS, and that I needed to sign for it on Thursday or Friday. I made arrangements for someone to sign for it, and I thought everything was sorted. But then I got a call on Monday asking me the exact same questions again. They even called my employer AGAIN! It made me look so stupid. I was told it would take a week to 10 days to complete the order.

I was so frustrated at this point. I had already gone through all of this information with the first person I talked to. I had already jumped through all of their hoops. I told the second person that I had already given them all of this information, and that if my computer wasn't there within 5 business days, I would seek legal remedies. They had already accepted my payment and documents, already told me a date of delivery, and now they were changing everything. It's not acceptable.

Eventually, I did get my computer. But it took 3 business days, and the 'complimentary free camera' came a day after that. This whole experience has left me so bitter and upset. No matter how I tried to explain things to the person in shipping/customer service (or whatever their title is), they just didn't want to listen. It wasn't until I threatened legal action that suddenly, magically, my computer appeared in 3 days.

I won't be buying from MDG again. I'll be going back to Dell. I buy 1-2 laptops a year for myself and my employees, so they're really losing out here. It's just not a great way to treat returning customers.

MDG Issue with MDG.com's Delivery: TV Not Delivered Despite Estimated Delivery Date & Attempts to Contact Me

I finally got my free camera from mdg.com today, which is a plus. But the real problem is they didn't deliver my TV, which is what I paid for. I was confused and went to their website to check my order and get information on where my TV was. To my surprise, I found out that my TV has been in San Diego for a couple of days now, according to their notes. However, the courier claimed that they had attempted to contact me on two separate occasions, which was strange since I am at home almost all the time, and my phone is always with me. I guess they must have contacted someone else and not me. The reason this is such a big issue for me is because I have people waiting to install the mounts in my room and in my wife's room; we've already rescheduled twice, and they have already been paid, but still no TV.

I'm a retired person, and my cellphone number is ***823, so they can call anytime day or night as I am always here. To add to that, they worked on my order on May 11th and gave me an estimated delivery date of May 17th, but now it's already past May 17th, and I'm yet to receive my TV. It is quite frustrating, and I hope they rectify the situation soon.

Looking at the driver's notes, my waybill number is MDG2180547, and the ship date is May 11th, with an estimated delivery date of May 17th, which they did not fulfill. The service level was 5-Day Economy, and the delivery type was Threshold Service. They also used a third party billing for their freight terms.

I noticed a few spelling and grammar errors in the driver's notes as well, but that's something that I wouldn't expect to be perfect. I'm still waiting for my TV, and hopefully, this will be resolved soon.

Here's hoping that they deliver my TV as soon as possible.

MDG MDG.com: A Nightmare Experience with Cancelled Order & Fraudulent Activity

I have written a review about mdg.com and my experience with ordering from them. First off, I must say that I have had previous orders with them and always made payments on time. However, my most recent experience was not a good one.

I ordered two tablets that I didn't really want, but was pressured by the salesperson to go with them. Within 24 hours, I cancelled the order and wanted a different item that I actually thought about before making the purchase. This is where things got fishy. Even though I cancelled my order, I was informed that I am no longer eligible to order anything else.

The lady who approved my cancellation and assured me that there would be no problems actually hung up on me during the conversation. Later on, she flagged my account saying that there was fraudulent activity on my account, even though I have never engaged in any such activity. She then denied being responsible for doing so.

As a result of this incident, my credit limit was removed, and I am now unable to purchase anything from mdg.com. I have spent countless hours on the phone in circles with them, trying to resolve the issue, but to no avail. This experience has been a complete nightmare, and I have given up on trying to purchase anything from them.

The problem with mdg.com is that they offer you a loan to buy their products, and it is up to them to decide whether you get accepted or approved. This situation was made worse by the fact that if you cancel an order within a reasonable time, it becomes your worst nightmare if you ever want to order anything else from them.

In conclusion, I am disappointed with mdg.com's service, and it is their loss as I have saved by not ordering other items from them. They need to learn to treat their customers with dignity and respect. They should focus on creating long-lasting relationships with their customers instead of treating them poorly.

MDG MDG.com Review: Horrible Customer Service, Lengthy Verification Process, and Overpriced Products

I put my order in on March 15th, 2019 for mdg.com on my trusty ol' Apple IPhone 7. The first problem I encountered was that the website didn't even have the listing for my bank. Ugh! I thought, I tried uploading my bank statements which felt like it took forever, by the way, since the site only allows you to upload one document at a time, then had no choice but to email it in. Well, that's annoying, but what can you do?

Weeks passed and Nick B sent me an email asking for verification of my address, claiming they needed to hear from the utility company. I provided legal and legitimate proof that I have power at my new place of living, but this company refused to take the proof. Seriously? I couldn't believe it! After a long debate, I finally provide the information they demanded. Whew, that was a hassle!

Next, Nick told me I had to call the verification department to set up future payments, even though I wasn't given any other option. The initial payment and my first payment came out of my bank account on April 12th, 2019, but there's just one issue - I hadn't received my product yet! Okay, cool, no problem, I thought. I'll just check for updates via tracking. However, nothing changed on their website.

Finally, on April 22nd, 2019, I decided to call the company and ask about it. Well, let me tell you, folks, the guy who answered was so incredibly rude and hung up on me! I couldn't believe it! I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and call back, but I still had no updates and was getting more and more frustrated. Finally, I had enough and called again. It turned out my order had been updated to "On Hold" and needed further verification with financing. Hours went by with still no updates, so I called back again, and finally, my product was picked up for shipping.

This entire process was unreasonably drawn out! As I was browsing their website, I couldn't help but notice that the product I had ordered was now $50 cheaper! How ridiculous! I spoke with them and thankfully, they honored the price match, but at the end of the day, I'm spending $500 more for a product that's selling for $475 right now. If I didn't need to rebuild my credit, I would have gone to the store and picked it up myself. What a waste of time!

After one month and one week, I am extremely dissatisfied with this entire process. On their website, my order updated as "On Hold" and after calling multiple times, I still had no updates or answers. Customer service reps are incredibly rude and don't know how to handle frustrated customers like myself. They seriously need to do better! MDG sucks!

MDG Deceptive Practices: MDG.com Requires 6 Weekly Payments for Downpayment and Won't Ship Until All Payments Are Made

So, I came across this website called mdg.com. I had to give my information and SSN, which made me a bit uneasy, but they approved me for $1900, which was nice. I found a laptop I liked, and everything seemed fine. I went through the whole checkout process and agreed to everything, but then at the very end, they told me I had to make a larger downpayment than what they initially disclosed. It wasn't much more, so I was okay with it.

But then I hit another roadblock. They said I could ONLY make the downpayment in 6 weekly payments, and only after I made all 6 payments would they ship the item to me. I didn't understand why they needed to see proof of consistent payment frequency when I was willing to pay the entire downpayment upfront. It just didn't make sense to me.

I reached out to their customer service line, but they refused to accept the full downpayment upfront, saying they wanted to make sure I was consistent with my payments. But I had just signed contracts with them! It was so frustrating to hear that they were refusing to ship the product until I made 6 weekly payments.

Honestly, this company's practices are so deceptive. I can't believe that they would disclose AFTER the fact that they won't ship the product until I make 6 weekly payments. This just feels like fraud. They were risking the same amount whether I paid the $250 over 6 weeks or upfront. It just didn't make sense to me.

I urge you to avoid this company. I have never heard of any finance company refuse to accept the full downpayment upfront. It just doesn't make sense. By the time you've made 6 payments, you've already spent several hundred into your payment plan, and there's no guarantee they will ship your product or that your product will still be available.

MDG.com's practices are just too shady for my liking. I hope this review helps everyone out there looking to make a purchase on this website.

MDG MDG.com Review: Read their purchasing policies before buying

I got approved for a purchase on mdg.com and I have to say, I was a bit confused about their buying process. I decided to reach out to try and get some clarity and even asked to speak to a supervisor. They allowed me to speak to one, but unfortunately, he couldn't assist me with ordering what I wanted. So, they just referred me back to their website, which was a bit frustrating. If you're looking to buy from this company, it's important to read all the policies carefully before you make a purchase. I highly recommend reading through all the reviews too. Before I started the buying process, I read lots of reviews claiming that they weren't able to return items. Naturally, I went to the MDG website to look up their review policy.

Upon reading their policy, I was relieved that I did so. Here's the policy that they wrote on their site:

"Return Policy
All sales are bound to be final. Unless the law requires us to do so, there are no returns, refunds, or exchanges of any kind. However, we may choose to accept a return, pending our sole and absolute discretion. We finalize our discretion based on many things, like the time from purchase date passing and the previous condition of the goods that were returned. If you return an item for exchange, you'll have to mail it back in the exact manner in which it came. That means it must be the unused item, in its original packaging, with all the registration cards, disks, accessories, packing materials, and more. It must arrive within 30 days of the invoice date. We hold the right to refuse a return or to charge a 20% restocking fee of the current balance. We don't accept returns that are without an RA number issued by MDG or in the event of a manufacturer or distributor's policy superseding ours. If we authorize an exchange, refund, or merchandise credit, it will be given to you. Due to the volatility in the computer prices, we'll only refund or credit items at the current pricing. We also reserve the right to increase the restocking fee for special circumstances like damaged packaging or missing CDs. We're unable to accept physically damaged products."

After examining this policy, I just can't take the risk to buy anything from them. Please, if you're interested in making a purchase with this company, read all their policies first. Don't let yourself become a victim to their inability to back their products up.

MDG Mixed Experience with MDG: Delivery Nightmare & Lack of Policy Transparency

My experience with MDG was mostly positive, but there were a few issues with their policies and delivery. The customer service representatives were friendly, but I do wish that MDG was more transparent about their policies and shipping. I had to call in to verify my information and payment, which ended up being a larger down payment than what was originally stated. This wasn't a deal breaker for me, but it would have been nice to have been informed beforehand.

The biggest issue I had was with the shipping. MDG promoted free shipping for purchases of $1500 or more, but when my order of a new TV and surround sound reached over $1500, I was charged over $300 for shipping and handling. When I reached out to customer service about it, I was told that my product didn't qualify for the free shipping promotion and that it was company policy. It was disappointing to pay so much for shipping and then have to wait over 2 weeks to receive my products.

CEVA logistics, the company that MDG uses for moving large items, was also a nightmare to deal with. It was challenging to track my package, and when it finally arrived in my area, I received an automated phone call to schedule my delivery. However, the delivery date was over 2 weeks away, so I had to call CEVA several times just to reach the right person to reschedule my delivery for the next day.

Unfortunately, even after all that trouble, the delivery still didn't arrive on time. I paid over $300 for shipping, expecting it to be free as advertised, and waited at home all day for the delivery. When I called CEVA again, I was told they were busy with a "white glove" delivery and that they would get to me when they could. CEVA logistics should reconsider calling themselves logistics because their service is horrible.

Overall, MDG needs to find a better delivery service than CEVA, and they need to be more transparent with their policies and shipping charges. The customer service representatives were friendly, but that doesn't make up for the frustration of dealing with all these issues. I hope MDG will take steps to improve their service in the future.

MDG Desktop Computer

Less than 1 year ago I took MDG up on their financing offer for a gaming desktop computer.Advertised as a Thermaltake Ryzen 3600x system with MSI motherboard etc. WHat I got was a barebones base econo system when I unpacked and installed it. I ran the system specs to find that the grpahics card and processor in it were all bare minimum to run even the base games of today and this system was not at all what they billed it in the advertising. I paid in financing almsot 1800 in total. I was given a pure piece of crap graphics card,a Sapphire Radeon 350 8gig that has since started making fan noises and has crashed repeatedly on me. 3 months in. I emailed them 5 times about this,to replace it,they repeatedly said to contact Sapphire and Radeon, yet THEY were the ones who bought the card and installe dit in this package,I have no warranty card for this POS.,so now I have a paperweight because I cannot afford a card replacement to run this machine now.

Desired outcome: Very least, get them to replace the video card

MDG Gaming PC and 3 Year Warranty Not being honored

2 years ago I leased to own a low tier gaming pc from MDG Canada, Having used them in the past we KNEW a warranty was needed as there has ALWAYS been something wrong with the hardware they use to build their pcs. Within six months of receiving the pc it had to be sent back because of a graphics card issue, We are now 8 months since we sent it in and received it back and again there is another graphics card issue. We called support to explain the tearing in the screen, the extreme heat and the PC freezing completely because of the graphic card failing. They asked for a picture of the front / back/ top of the pc and the screen and said there is nothing visible wrong with the product and refused to honor warranty. I then took pictures of the event logs and the screen when the tearing was happening and they still said there is nothing wrong with the product. I took pictures of more event logs (6 to be exact) two of the pc crashing because of unexpected issues, to an event log of the graphics card crashing where they said it was a 3rd party program and wasn't covered under the warranty. The Adrenalin driver is what AMD uses to identify your hardware and any issues that the driver is having issues of to insure that a clean install and repair can be done.

MDG upper management have refused to honor their agreement and the warranty we have purchased because they no longer carry the pc I purchased and dont offer the parts in any of the newer models meaning they have no more of the parts needed to honor said warranty. I am already paying 3x the price of the pc over a 3 year plan and still have 30 payments they are expecting as they refuse to allow me to send the pc back for repairs. This is a formal complaint so anyone else looking to use them for services are aware of them offering warranties and not honoring them and sending you faulty products while refusing to take responsibility when it arrives faulty.

Desired outcome: Them replace the full pc , with a brand new one of the same model or ending our contract with them completely as I are prepared to seek legal representation.

MDG fraud/ stealing customers money

This company needs to be investigated through the BBB, because they put all this interest rate on their products making it unbearable for anyone to payoff the amount. This will cause not an increase for credit, but putting your credit in a bad condition. They don't live up to their policy on the paperwork, and I think an Attorney, or someone with business authority need to address this company robbing and stealing form the people, Period!

Thanks from a customer that has been caught under this company un-loyal commitments.

I'm having the same issue, I've been paying on this now for 6 months, and the price never goes down only goes up. After asking for explanation I didn't really get one. I even did the math for them. Based on my calculations this will never go away. I've already paid at least $210 on the $1,110.00 I agreed to pay. Yet, I'm still owing $1295.00? How is that possible. Like I get interest, but how does the amount I owe go UP, effectively upping my credit utilization, every month.

Most installment loans are like, okay these payments go to interest (which u agree to pay upfront) then after so many payments this amount goes to principal and this amount goes to interest, and after and after a while the principal amount goes up, this effectively starts paying off your amount after so many payments, but it seems like this amount never goes down and it has been 8 months since I made the purchase and has never gone down but only ever gone up. And they pull money out of the account a day early to ensure you don't have it so they can tack on two outrageous fees. Which they are happy to waive because they know they are in the wrong, but I agreed to pay on Fridays for a reason, not Thursdays, the amount should not be removed until then. Etc.

The other account I have I agreed to pay 645$ and I've barely got it to go back under 695$ after paying already $310. I should be at least 1/4th of the way paid off, even with an outrageous interest rate. But nope, I still owe more than what I agreed to pay. This really needs to be investigated, and I wish I knew how to get out of this debt. Already for both products I agreed to pay double what it costs in retail normally. But it seems like it is never going down.
