The Mckeown folks did what I simply didnt have the knowledge or will to do myself. Having no desire to go through a lengthy, burdensome, frustrating, and I thought, futile process, I reached out to McKeown after a referral from a friend. I say this because I know there are veterans out there, just like me, who dont want to go through ittrust me, you owe it to yourself to reach out to them. It started with an email drone me to them, a follow up phone call, from them to me, and the process was started. They do all the heavy lifting. You just attend your exams and state your case. Simple as that. The McKeown firm is with you every step of the way, and, after! I cant thank them enough for their professionalism and advocacy. Its an overused word but they truly are, amazing! Thankful for the McKeown firm and the friend who gave me the referral!

I am beyond thankful for Andrew and his team. Their hard work, knowledge and tenacity resulted in my current 90% rating with several other claims still in progress. My experience dealing with McKeown Law, LLP has been outstanding. Their professionalism and care made the process of applying and processing my VA disability claim smooth and painless. Their understanding of the bureaucracy and the complex process necessary to file and manage a claim is singularly responsible for the positive outcome of my claim. Team McKeown was awesome and explained everything. I heard about these guys through another retired vet, and it was as advertised. I'm pretty sure I could have gotten myself to about 70% on my own. However, you get what you pay for. What I mean by that is Team McKeown understood the laws and current rules to ensure that I filed for all the thinks available to give me my best, most accurate review. Many of the items filed for were a problem for me, but I would never have known to file for them on my own or be successful at it. He provides a video for each item and walks you through what matters and what doesn't. The team was able to help me get 100%. Let me be clear. At first, I thought that was way out of reach. The best Veteran Legal representation that you will find. Mr. McKeown Law (call him McKeown. lol) is a straight up, no nonsense legal professional, who clearly cares for Veterans. He and his team of professionals kept me informed throughout the process. I felt I had a pretty solid case, and once I presented it to him, he agreed. In fact, he said I could probably do it myself. So, he was basically turning down potential business for an easy claim. This made me totally comfortable and I hired him anyway. Andrew has represented me for several years now and I will say this to my fellow Veterans, do not waste your time researching and trying to go it alone. I also had experience with one Veterans Organization that represents Veterans for free. In either case above you have one good shot to get your claim approved. A denial means waiting years for the appeal process (used loosely here) to run its course. Andrew knows what he is doing and rest assured your claim will be taken care of with him. I struggled for years limping with my back and once I decided to start the process of getting my 10% rating for an increase for my "Back Strain" which was actually disc problems I realized how complex the system was. Andrew took great care of me and I am now rated with not only my back correctly but other disabilities as well. This will be the best money you will ever spend I will guarantee you that! Andrew and his team did a fantastic job helping me achieve the rating I deserved to have all of these years. McKeown Law and his team far exceeded my expectations! I was referred to McKeown Law by a fellow military veteran a few years ago and I'm glad that conversation happened. After letting life get in the way for far too long, I finally initiated my claim about seven years after exiting the military. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect at the start, but McKeown Law and team made the process as simple as it could possibly be. Andrew and Team provided me expedited and successful service in which I was awarded 80% of disability benefits of which I was entitled, but was too unmotivated to pursue because I didn't think it would be worth my time. Boy was I wrong! Andrew McKeown's name had been floating periodically throughout our organization for several years that is highly saturated with Veterans. After asking, he was highly recommended by at least 8 people within my organization that had used his service to help them understand their entitlements and increase their disability benefits. After many years of trying to resolve my claims with the VA, I'd given up. I decided it wasn't worth my sanity to keep fighting the VA by myself. I just moved on with my life. McKeown LAW is a highly professional and reliable law firm thus far, as the VA deferred my cases after only working on the service connected increases. I went up 10% but still have 13 other reviews, but that's not what is to be commended. I have to give much gratitude and appreciation for allowing me to pay what was received, which was my fault for not updating my marital status and dependent information. I have not ever been on the VA website and after seeking assistance from McKeown LAW, I went to navigate the site. I noticed the information was old and I updated my information. Which triggered some backpay, which I did not know. I was originally was awarded a certain amount for the increase but only received a different amount. Mr.Mckeown worked with me and allowed me to pay the amount I did receive. He could of went a different route and charged me what I should of got, but he was understanding and compassionate of the unknown mistake during the process of increase, that I made. I highly recommend his firm. He walks you through the whole process and even provides videos so you actually understand what you are up against. In the time that I got out the Army, nobody guides you through the things that should be said or even know. Most soldiers are trained differently in how to handle pain and mental illness.
