Pool liners
I bought a pool liner from Linerworld in 2021. Part of the liner faded horribly- that there was a white patch through my pool. I got a replacement from them in December of 2023. Just installed it and it is 2, noticeably different, shades of blue. I had to pay $300 for the new liner - even though this was a manufacturing defect. I’m paying to have the liner installed. You can’t pull the liner out of the box and inspect it prior to installation with a 30’ pool liner. Very dissatisfied
Claimed loss: $1200 for first liner $300 for second liner $1000 installation fee for second liner
Desired outcome: Should be reimbursed at least the cost of the 2 liners I bought - $1500

Unless you are paying me the $2000 in installation fees, it is not financially feasible to rip out the liner to receive $309 from you. You are a joke! I’ve noticed you like to offer solutions that you know aren’t feasible to people so you make yourself look like you are offering solutions. Joke!
Funny how I reply back and my comment disappears. They want to reimburse me for the replacement liner I just had installed in my pool, not the original liner. Their solution is for me to cut a piece of the new liner I just had installed and send it back to them to get refunded the $309 I paid for the replacement liner. Now let’s keep in mind I had to pay to have both liners installed ($2000) so they’ll give me back $309. Must be the new math to think that adds up. Plus, I’m out the original $1200 for the first liner. They said they’d refund me for the faded liner and all of a sudden that becomes the one with 2 colors. That liner is not faded but they used 2 different colors of blue. Don’t buy from them!

Liner too small for pool
This was filed with the BBB and they closed the case as unresolved. After researching, I see that I am not the only one to receive a liner that does not fit.
Purchased 24’ liner. Day of install it was 88 outside. Followed their installation instructions step by step. The liner would in no way reach 8 points to clamp. The liner was too small. This is not the first liner we have installed. Every other liner folded over the wall with ease. After the 5th point, it was trying to pull my wall in. It was a Friday afternoon and there were storms moving in Saturday morning. We needed the overlap in order to hook the ship vac but couldn’t get that far. I was afraid the storms would cave my pool so I started adding water thinking it would stretch enough across the bottom. After getting an inch across the bottom of the pool it was clear the liner was intact too small. The seam should be half way up the cove and it was anywhere from 2”-4” in front of the cove. I stopped adding water and called them Saturday. The told me to take pictures and send to them. I did. They told me I did not follow their instructions because there was water on the pool. I told them I could not follow their instructions because the liner would not reach all the way around the pool. IT WAS TOO SMALL. They continued to tell me how to do it. I kept repeating it would not work. They told me the ladder shouldn’t be in there- well I had to get out. It was not in there during the install. They told me the rails should not be on at the time. Of course not, we had to add them to keep the pool from caving in where the liner was SO tight. They would not send me another one or refund me the $328 for the liner. After that, I started to do some research and it’s clear their customer service is a joke and it’s a joke of a business that sells poor quality liners. I am not one to complain about business. I typically chalk my loss up to lessons learned, but this $328 and the fact they wouldn’t fix the problem, another storm has now caved my pool in. At the very minimum, I want my money back.

Hello - While we do sympathize with how frustrating installing a pool liner can be, we provide detailed installation instructions in the box with your liner and on our website so installation can be done correctly. You did not follow any of our provided instructions - you added water to the pool without properly securing your liner to your pool wall, you did not reinstall your top rails or metal on top of your liner and coping (this holds the liner on while filling), and you also have your pool ladder in the pool which is weighing down the liner. These are crucial mistakes and not following our installation guide is the sole reason your liner is not installed in your pool. The liner you received from us is the correct size, and nothing is wrong with the liner. You simply did not install the liner properly. We are more than happy to walk you through installation, but we are not able to refund or replace this liner, as there is nothing wrong with it.
From me on Tuesday, August 1, 2023
I am rejecting this response because: I am not sure how much more clear I need to be when I say the liner will not fit per your installation. Liner replacement is not frustrating, provided you have the correct size liner. I will repeat myself again...this is not the first liner I have installed. This is, however, the first liner that I have installed that did not fit my pool. There is NO way that liner is made for a 24' pool. I will repeat myself again...I DID follow your instructions. I attached north, south, east, and west. When I went to attach the 5th spot, the liner barely made it to the wall of the pool. When I went to the sixth spot, it was trying to cave my wall in. There was NO way I was attaching in 8 spots, much less adding the top rails over it. IT WOULD NOT FOLD OVER THE WALLS COMPLETELY. I told you all that at that point, yes I did add water in attempt to keep my walls from caving since there was a thunderstorm coming. I do not need to be walked through the installation. I know exactly how to install a liner. The liner IS the incorrect size as you cannot even make the liner reach the wall for points 6-8, much less fold over to add the coping. Once again, the ladder was NOT in the pool during the installation. I had to add the steps to get out of the pool. I am 43 years old. I have never been a liar, nor a thief. I never make complaints. In this instance, I am because the liner you sent me IS the wrong size. It is too small for my pool. I have installed several liners step by step just like in your instructions. Never once have I ever not been able to fold the liner over the rail and add the coping without ease. This liner will not fit my pool.
From the Business on Tuesday, August 1, 2023
Yes, this liner will fit if OUR installation instructions are followed, which we can clearly see they were not followed based on your photos.
We understand you may have installed other liners in the past, but we manufacturer these liners and our instructions MUST be followed in order for it to fit. You missed many steps in our installation guide.
Please confirm - is this liner damaged since receiving or have any holes been cut in the liner?
From the me on Wednesday, August 2, 2023
I did NOT miss any steps in your installation guide UNTIL the liner would not fit. Again, the photos represent the ladder in the pool so I could get out and the water being added AFTER the liner would not secure all around the pool. After talking to a representative from there for the 3rd time telling me that I didn't follow the guide and I should try again. I removed the steps, drained the pool and the liner STILL would NOT go all the way around the pool wall. IT WILL NOT FIT. So, with nothing holding the walls up, my pool caved during the next day in a thunderstorm. To answer the question, to my knowledge, there is no damage to the liner, but again the pool wall has fell over on it.
Desired outcome: I am only asking for a full refund.
I emailed you 3 days ago. Typical… no response.
I have sent ANOTHER email per your request. However, the phone calls, prior emails, and my complaint with the BBB has not resulted in a resolution thus far. I will NOT stop until I get a refund.

Liner
Ordered liner had to wait 2 months for person from pool company to come install. We had doughboy pool liner in for 10 years previously. Had installed filled with water the next 2 days water leaked out had person come back and fix holes, they kept leaking for a week and then grass come up, I never even got my foot wet. Husband sent pictures and they refused to replace or warranty it. I will never recommend this company to anyone.
Desired outcome: would like a replacement even if I have to spend more money for a better quality
I have already contacted Liner world with the Compliant They did not offer anything but 20% off on a new liner so nothing was resolved.

Liner purchase
I purchased a 15/30 overlap liner and after installation the seam tore and all my dreams were washed away.
The warranty is a glorified return policy. It does not cover any cost associated with their faulty product.
How can you tell if there is a damage to the product without filling it with water.
There isn't hole in the liner from the installers the seams came apart. The material gauge is thin (25)
Ive looked and the pool size of this liner has had issues before, because not many people buy a pool of this size.
Desired outcome: Linerworld to pay for cost of a new install or have their company Diggers install a new liner. The cost of a replacement liner is nothing as their liner is almost 50% cheaper then a quality liner.

27 foot beaded liner
Purchased liner in late October 2021 to install in the spring. I installed the liner on June 10th 2022. Last weekend July 23rd. Notice liner us separating from the bead. Today I sent photos to linerworld and was told it was a manufacturing defect. But my warranty was only from 90 days of purchase not installation. I could replace it at a prorated price of 431 dollars. I paid 830 dollars for it on November. The liner was only in use for 6 weeks. This is not effective way to conduct long term clients. My concern is if I get a new liner from them what quality will it be? As well as being out 431 dollars.
Desired outcome: Full refund or a replacement liner at no cost.

Defective pool liner
I ordered a pool liner on 6/16/22 and it was delivered on 6/19/22. I had the liner installed on 6/24/22. I have a 15x30 oval pool. The pool was filled with water by the evening of 6/25/22. On the morning of 6/26/22 at about 9 am I noticed the pool was leaking. My husband inspected the pool and found a hole in the liner. I called the installer to come and check it out. He was not available right away. By 3pm on the 6/26 water began gushing out of the pool. Over 13,000 gallons of water gone in a matter of seconds right into my neighbors yard. Once the water was out we noticed a huge hole in the liner. I emailed [protected]@linerworld.com yesterday evening and have yet to hear from them. I have been trying to call all day today but the wait time is extremely long. Today I got an independent pool specialist to come and check out my pool. He told me the liner was 100% defective. This is completely unacceptable, costly and dangerous. Luckily none of my neighbors property was damaged and no one got hurt. I paid $580 for the liner, $700 to have it installed. I also pay for water on a quarterly basis. I am going to be charged between $500 to $700 for the wasted water. Linerworld is 100% at fault for selling defective liners. I would like this issue resolved immediately. I have an 11yr old autistic child who loves to swim in the pool. I absolutely cannot afford another liner and installation charge. My order number is [protected].
Desired outcome: I would like Linerworld to have a new liner installed at their expense.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
A resolution is not the replacement cost of your faulty product, what about the money that will have to be spent to have a new liner installed the damage to my neighbors property, water, chemical, ground, etc.
Be sure to read the warranty carefully. Buyers beware. Don’t watch your dreams and hard work go down the drain.
Nothing that would result in the need for a new liner is covered under the warranty. The warranty as written is a fancy return policy.
Although clearly a seam tear is a result of poor/faulty quality. You would have to have water in the pool to identify if the seams were not properly sewn. You would have to have water in the pool to identify any damage, you certainly would have to fill it to identify if the damage is at the top of the liner.
It's the buyer's responsibility to complete a thorough inspection before adding water to the pool liner. If a seam issue occurs after water has been added, it is deemed a faulty installation and, therefore, not covered under warranty.
Wrong size liner and will not refund
We purchased a 27’ liner for our 27’ matrix pool. The day it was installed I had 3 men working on it in 100 degree weather. The liner ended up being too big by three feet! The men said that this liner was in fact not for our pool and was too big. I contacted support and she wanted me to take photos of the pool liner and the “extra material”. We did just that. According to brittany, it wasn’t good enough. Brittany wanted us to remove the liner, exposing my pool to the elements, take photos of the seam and send them. I stated maybe the wrong size liner was put into the 27’ liner box. She said “oh no, that would never happen!” - in the process of asking to return the liner, brittany interrupted and said ”we dont offer refunds for those who order the wrong size” before I could finish my sentence of wanting a replacement. She said I should have ordered a 26’ liner since my pool measured at 26.6’ - I explained to her there was no such thing! She was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said that she was the highest person I could talk to. I refused to have any more words with her. We spent over $1,000 and it just went down the drain because “brittany said so”… I refuse to let this go considering we put a lot of time and effort. I ended up ordering a 27’ liner from royal swimming pools and it fits like a glove and we had zero installation issues. I sent an email to solutions to demand a refund for the liner and a return label to send this piece of junk back to them! We work hard for our money and I had 3 guys sweating their butts off to not only install but uninstall this liner.
Desired outcome: Full refund and no replacement.
LinerWorld has agreed to refund my money for the Liner and have sent a paid shipping label to send back to them. This has been resolved.
Won't ever purchase from them again even though we purchased our 2 previous liners from them with no issue. The liner was too small, I wish I would have taken video trying to install it because the last section of the pool, we had to really stretch it to get it to fit. We even looked at the box to make sure it said the correct size, which it did. When we cut out the skimmer, 2 days later it tore and Brittany said it was our fault. This is the 3rd liner we installed and we've never had an issue. The best they would do is a 35% discount on a new liner. I wasn't giving them another dime of my money. Bought a new liner from another company and it is the correct size. Cut the skimmer out the same way and gee, this one didn't tear. Must have been because we were given the correct size. AND after we patched around the skimmer we found a dozen holes in the side of the pool with filler in them and one lost the patch and was leaking. They won't admit anything is their fault. They already got your money. Won't EVER buy ANYTHING from them again.
Huh, that sounds like our experience. The liner was too small, I wish I would have taken video trying to install it because the last section of the pool, we had to really stretch it to get it to fit. Purchased a 27 ft liner, looked as if it was the right size when installing, when the water company came to fill, then said it looks to small. Not even a foot of water in the pool and the line pulled in and ripped. I have contacted them several times with no resolve. They said it was because we installed in when it was too cold. It was 70° and sunny. My installer has been installing pool liners the last 2 months in 60° weather with no issue. He says that story is BS. I want a refund or a RIGHT size liner.
Pool liner
Liner was purchased in January 2022 and was installed on 03/11/2022 after two days of filling it up with we discovered a hole in the liner. No one has been in the pool to cause a hole. I contacted linerworld and the company that installed the liner. The company who installed the liner came out and checked it and told us it’s a defect in the liner. Linerworld told me to send pictures and send the so I Fedex and emailed pictures. Linerworld told me the warranty does not cover the hole. With no one getting into the pool to cause the hole and a company with over 30 years experience installing the liner ( and will reinstall a new one at no cost to me) why won’t linerworld stand behind their product. I’m not asking for money to refunded just give me a liner without holes in it.
Desired outcome: Just replace the liner with one without holes

Pool liner
Complaint number two. Linerworld not only does not stand by their defective products they LIE and say the conflict was resolved and to contact their solution center only to continually ignore you. This company is no good. They sell defective liners and after you are inconvenienced with one they want to sell you another defective liner for a slightly discounted price. Companies like this is what makes consumers so distrusting and disgusted. Do a better job, don't just pretend to to try and fix your bad ratings !
Lets sue them into the ground who has David Phelps contact info that horrid con needs to go broke and rot in prison same for Britney the thieving liar they got their bar room pals to write 5 star ratings this company MUST BE DESTROYED AND BRITTNEY NEEDS A HOSPITAL BED TO LIVE IN FOR A LONG PAINFUL TIME
Yep, that was my exact experience this year. Don't buy from them.
Pool liner
I ordered a pool liner in April of this year. Now in September the liner is 4 different colors and looks like a 10 year old trashy liner. I was offered a replacement for an additional charge of almost what I paid for the liner originally. They admitted when I sent pictures that it is defective yet still want me to purchase again citing its past the 90 days. Have barely used the pool for 4 months before the liner went to hell. I should at least be guaranteed a season before it looks like this!
Desired outcome: A liner replacement at no charge

Defective Pool Liner
I needed a new liner for my above ground pool. I looked and looked for one. Everyone was out of stock. I was excited when I found one at LinerWorld. I ordered it at the end of the season (2020), not knowing if there would be one available in May (2021). I scheduled the installation team. They came out the week before Memorial Day (2021). When they began to install the liner, they found a manufacturer's defect. There was a four inch part of the seam that was not sealed properly. I reached out to LinerWorld (multiple times). They said that since the purchase date was past ninety days, they would not refund my money. I explained that it had just been unboxed, never had water in it and that they sold it to me at the end of the season. Logically, it would not be installed right away. The best they could do was to prorate a purchase of a new liner. The interesting part of this is that they would not have a liner until July. Another interesting part of the story is that the cost of liner had increased by 233%. I realize that retail locations need to have a return policy, I get it, but I would have hoped due the situation that Covid has caused and the timing, that an exception would have been made to keep their customers loyal. Reading recent reviews it seems that LinerWorld is knowingly sold defective liners. Order # [protected]
Desired outcome: At this point I purchased another liner locally. I would like my purchase price returned.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Same situation! They are thieves. Tried to sell me another one as well with their 90 day nonsense
Above ground pool liner
Above ground pool liner.
In the last two years I've purchased two liners from liner world the first one lasted two months the last one came out of the box with not one scene but two seams defective both times I had to pay for installation because the installers were there and set up ready for the defective liner. I ask for reimbursement for the $1400 I have spent for installation and no pool to show for it because I do not have a solid liner. Not to mention my two days of salary that I've lost getting my liners that were defective installed.
Desired outcome: I would like to be reimbursed the installation fees of $1400 for the defective liners. One lasted two months one came out of the box and the seam started coming apart as they were installing it.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Pool cover
The liner I purchased August of 2019 and it has a huge tear all of a sudden and several holes. It was a 24' round winter pool cover, Rhinoguard Technology, order #111084. From the information I read prior to the purchase, this was supposed to be a very good cover that would last a long time. I always cover my pool during off season and have never had a cover go bad so quickly. My pool is green slush now. I asked for a replacement but they replied it is out of the 90-day warranty period. So, they sell crap and know it will be out of warranty by the time you realize it is no good. I'm pretty sure they KNOW the covers won't last long.
Desired outcome: I would like a replacement because this one must have been defective
Good news. They actually did respond and are trying to make it right. I will give an update if things change.
They responded and have tried to make things right. I am satisfied with the result. Thanks.
Liner
I installed my liner Sunday when the temperature was 82° and bright sunshine, fill the liner about halfway up and then turn the water off. Tuesday I went out to finish filling it and noticed a rip at the top where the liner folds over, this rip was not there Sunday at installation time it was not there Monday. To me it looks like a stretch tear, I am now...

Pool liner has multiple holes all over. Some are very precise as though they already existed. Have had the liner for less than a year and they refuse to do anything about it. Claiming it was something we did. It isn't under any trees, no ladder close to the holes. Nothing in the pool that would have damaged it. They say it's not a manufacturer defect. I beg to differ. It seems as though the liner is super thin and not as durable and they advertised

Same exact thing happened with my pool. Terrible product this company sells.
Pool liner
Bought a pool liner lasted maybe 2 seasons and was completely faded contacted them and was told to much chlorine, i have dozen of records of water getting tested by a local pool place that uses a 2000$ digital tester not droplets method. Pool water was always fine, was told to bad so sad and offered a simple blue liner at a small discount. 5 year Warranty should be that and yup we all use chlorine so it should be resistant to fade.
Desired outcome: Replacement

Linerworld sold me a "25" gauge liner last year in july. It ripped at the seam in less than two weeks. They sent a new liner... I asked what happens if the new liner does the same, because honestly to have taken the liner out we would have lost most of the rest of our swimming season last year. I was told that if it happened again within a year we would...
