I had a refrigerator delivered on Dec 11, 2023, it would not fit in the door so the delivery people called me and offered to take it back and I said no we would take it in. once we got it in I realized I measured it wrong (My fault) and tried to contact our Home Depot to schedule a return, within an hour, because the delivery men said I had 48 hours to return it. the manager said they would not take it back because there was nothing wrong with it, they would have to put it on the floor as a scratch and dent. altho nothing was wrong with it. losing 25% because of the return. I just wanted to let you know since my house fire we have spent well over 40,000 in our local store, so the manager is going to lose alot more than the 25% of a 2,000 refrigerator. Myself, or my contractor will never step foot in there again. I realize it was my fault, I would have paid the return fee, I just wanted a smaller refrigerator. thank you for your time, I just wanted to let you know sometimes bending a little and being just a little compassionate would definitely pay off in the future. Desired outcome: just to let you know

Hi Sharon.

Please understand how sorry we are over your unfortunate difficulties.

Although management may be reluctant to bring a, now used, refrigerator back, it does not mean they are unsympathetic and do not want to assist. Whereas you need a different size of fridge, contact your local Home Depot with a proper selection. You'll likely find they'll discount the second fridge so you are not stuck paying full price for both appliances.

Sincerely, PLEASE let us know if that doesn't resolve the issue.

Easy as done.
