I ordered the platinum package from HitchSwitch, but I'm still waiting for my order. They claim it's been shipped, but there's no tracking number provided. Customer service is completely unresponsive, ignoring my emails and messages. This feels like a scam and I'm worried about identity theft. I strongly advise against using this service.

Exellent service to assist those of us who got married during the crazy year of 2020. I was not sure how to start this process while being stuck at home, and received the recommendation of hitchswitch from a bridesmaid - well not actually a bridesmaid because we never actually had a wedding reception ;). The support team was so helpful. They answered all of my questions quickly, and knew a lot about the entire process - all of the ins and outs. Thank you!

I don't usually do reviews, but I gotta say, I was super let down by HitchSwitch, LLC. It took them forever to even get my order going, and that was a big problem 'cause I needed my name changed ASAP. We shot 'em an email asking for a refund, but they straight up ignored us. It took like another week and a half for the stuff to show up, and honestly, it wasn't even that useful. I could've just printed out the forms myself with a quick Google search. Total waste of money, and I feel like they totally lied about what they offer.

I received HitchSwitch as a wedding gift and I'm really disappointed because it turned out to be a complete waste of money. I opted for the platinum package, which supposedly includes a "concierge" service. I sent an email to my designated contact person, but I haven't heard back from them even after a whole week. I also reached out to their customer service via email, but they haven't responded either. Just like other people have mentioned, they do provide forms and "pre-addressed" stamps, but they still advise you to track your mail, which means you still have to make a trip to the post office. It's such a waste of money, honestly. All I want is a refund so I can handle everything on my own.

I shelled out for the "Platinum" service, but let me tell you, it was a total waste. I had a name change situation that they claimed to have handled in the past, but whenever I reached out for information, I got zilch for months. They wanted my marriage certificate to review, and I sent it to them not once, but twice, and still no one bothered to answer my questions. I did my own research and realized that I didn't even need their services. I specifically asked about my situation at the start, and they promised they could assist, but clearly, that was a load of baloney.

I would give zero stars if possible. I ordered my "name change" about a month ago. Their customer service is non-existent. I have called at least 4 times. No one has EVER even answered. Left two voicemails weeks apart with no call backs. I have e-mailed their "customer service" which according to their website is the best way to get ahold of them. No response to any of the 4 e-mails I've sent either. DO NOT waste your money or your time. I am so upset about the money I spent and the hassle this has been when I could have done what their "service" advertises myself and had it taken care of already. So frustrating.

This biz feels like a scam. I submited my app and payment almost 2 weeks ago and I havent heard back. I tried messagin them usin live chat but they never online. Whats the point of havin live chat? I also sent an email and still havent heard back. Additionally, there was no way to review my payment. I entered my credit card number and hit "submit" or "next" and that was it. No email receipt or anythin, although the payment posted on my bank account. I purchased the platinum package. This is so disapointin. I understand if they are overwhelemed at the moment. I just wanted more transparency.

So, let me start by saying that HitchSwitch, LLC only gives you a few forms (like social security, passport, driver's license), which you can easily find online for free. The problem is, a lot of the information they provide is wrong or outdated. They do give you a couple of stamped envelopes, but then they suggest using trackable postage, which means you still have to go to the post office. And once you're done with those forms, you're pretty much on your own for everything else. They don't offer any help or advice for the million other changes you'll have to make, like dealing with bank accounts, insurance, credit cards, utility companies, 401k, mortgage/lease, doctors, subscription services, and so on. So basically, they only do about 3% of the work for you, and they don't even do that part well. And good luck trying to reach their "concierge" for assistance. I really regret wasting my money on this.

I bought their top-tier package, which included concierge assistance, but I was never able to get in touch with anyone. In the end, I managed to change my name on my own with much less trouble.

Like many others have mentioned, this company has a so-called 'platinum package' that supposedly includes a personal concierge service and ready-to-use legal papers. However, we haven't received any of these promised benefits. No one ever picks up the phone or bothers to return our calls. They claim to have sent the documents, but we never received them. The concierge service is practically non-existent. To put it simply, we paid for something they advertised, but they haven't fulfilled any part of their promise.

My dad ordered the $99 package with the forms to change my name as a wedding gift. But, we still haven't received the package. They said it would be sent via email, but neither me nor my dad got any email. My dad ordered it for my wedding on September 9, 2022. I've tried contacting the company many times through email and phone, but no luck. I just want to get what we paid for, or they should give my dad his money back.

I paid money to HitchSwitch to have a problem-free name change after getting married. I never got the documents. I wrote them many times and a rep said that even though the tracking number they gave was totally fake, it would come in the mail about 5 days ago. There was no new tracking, nothing. Now they won't even reply to the emails I sent. I'm gonna get my full payment back from my credit card company and post reviews on all the sites to warn others not to use this service.

We paid for the Platinum package, order Reference *** on August 2nd, but we made a mistake with the email address and noticed it right after we submitted the order. Since then, we've been trying to contact them. We've sent emails to the customer service email, filled out the contact form, used the chat feature (but no one is ever online), reached out over ***, and even called the phone number and left multiple voicemails to fix the email address on the order. It's been more than 10 days of daily attempts to reach out, but we haven't received any replies or responses. We don't know the status of our order or how to get in touch because no one seems to reply.

On 4/29, I bought HitchSwitch, a name change service, with my credit card. I got the $33.99 package that needs me to print forms at home. But I never got any link or info on how to get those forms. I emailed their customer service three times, and they took forever to reply. They told me to check my junk email, which I did, but found nothing from HitchSwitch. They mentioned resetting my password, but I never had a password with them. It's now 6/4, and I still haven't received any links or info on how to get the forms I paid for.

I bought the fancy platinum service from HitchSwitch, LLC with the Reference #***. I got my first package and used it sometimes, but my main problem is with the passport photo. That's why I got the top package, 'cause they give you the photo for free. I've emailed them a bunch of times about this issue over the past year. I first sent my photo on the app in October 20 and they said it didn't meet the requirements. I tried to send it again through the app, but it didn't work. I tried emailing the app, but no luck, so I started contacting HitchSwitch. I've sent lots of emails and they keep saying they'll send me a new one. I've even sent two follow-ups in the past few weeks, but the company hasn't responded at all. I asked for my photo or a refund, but I haven't gotten either.

I paid for HitchSwitch's name change service on 9/29 to make changing my name after getting married easier. I chose the platinum package for $99.99, which was supposed to have a processing time of 2-3 days with standard shipping. I gave them my information to complete the forms on the same day I purchased the service. On 10/5, I emailed the company because I noticed that my forms were not being processed through the customer dashboard. I waited for 2 days without a reply, even though I was supposed to have "priority email support". On 10/7, I sent another inquiry and finally received a reply on 10/8 (see attached screenshot). They had promised to expedite my documents, but they didn't ship them until I sent another email on 10/19. In that email, I mentioned that I should receive a partial refund because I had to get the documents printed by FedEx to meet a specific timeline for adding myself to my husband's insurance. This company is not delivering what they promise to consumers. I believe I should receive a refund that reflects a lower package.

I paid this company to make my name change after marriage easier. They were supposed to provide me with forms filled out with my information for the name change process and instructions on how to complete each step. However, they initially gave me the wrong state forms for voter registration, even though I clearly stated that I live in ***, not ***. I've never lived in ***. I had to email them to point out the mistake, and they eventually sent me the correct state form, but it was not filled out and had no instructions. I had to email them again to resolve this issue.

The instructions they provided for the drivers license were also incorrect. It's not easy for me to take time off work for a *** appointment. When I went for the appointment, they told me that I didn't have the correct documents, even though I followed the instructions given by HitchSwitch. As a result, I had to do my own research to find out what documents are actually required and reschedule my *** appointment almost two months later. When I complained about this issue, HitchSwitch did not respond.

Overall, HitchSwitch has made the name change process more difficult and stressful by giving me incorrect information on forms. Their service is supposed to provide accurate information, so I shouldn't have to pay for incorrect information. I've had to do my own research to correct their mistakes, which defeats the purpose of using their service. I would like a full refund.
