I bought a second-hand car from a local car dealer who assured me that I was getting a good deal. He basically guaranteed that ALL his cars were in tip-top shape with very little maintenance needed after purchasing. He named many happy customers and as he is an established name in the community, I trusted him. What a disappointment. To date, the car has cost me R3000 with a further R3000 necessary just to make it roadworthy and safe to drive. What a con he turned out to be, but more so, what a fool I was to trust a car dealer!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I bought a car from Gerald Painter Motors years ago and found him to be an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is honest, straight forward and always more than happy to help where possible. I have sent many of my friends his was with confidence and have never had any negative feedback - nice to know there are still some honest people out there!
