Frigidaire Freezer

My freezer broke two days before the one year warranty expired. They sent out a technician to repair it. It worked for two months. I have had technicians here at least 5 times since then. and My freezer still doesn't work. You can't get a hold of anyone, Unless you call customer service and they can't do anything. I had been waiting for a door for over a month. It finally gets here, Frigidaire says they are sending someone Today 8/22. No one has come and I have called customer support 5 times today and each person has a different answer for me. Last 4 visits they used a service here in Minnesota because they said they had no Frigidaire technicians in this area. Today and when they set up the appoint they said they were sending their own technician. I asked where he was coming from and they said North Carolina and he would be here today. I had to take the day off again for the repair technician.

Desired outcome: I would like my money back since I have not been able to use the freezer correctly for over a year and a half

Frigidaire Frigidaire Refrigerator FFTR1835VS S.N BA31410929

I have bought this unit on June 3, 2023 from dealer Teletime 51 Montainash RD Brampton ON, Canada. Fridge did not work even for 10 days. There was not cooling in main compartment. I have called the dealers so many time no reply and finally I have been told we can not help talk to Warranty personals. Than I have talked to their REP. Their technician reported them that it was major manufacturing defect doors have to be replaced. I told them to replaced the unit

why should I accepted the repair of new Fridge. I have talked to them so many time almost one month is gone unit was not replaced so for. So I need new unit or refund soon.

Frigidaire French door refrigerator

Purchased new home from Clayton Homes. Doors on refrigerant are uneven by a good "1 1/2". The refrigerator leans 2" to the right. Clayton Homes sent a serviceman who was not able to repair and told us that's just the way it is.

We hired another repair company to come out to see what they could do. At least they tried to resolve the uneven door issue and the leveling of the fridge.

He was unable to bring it to resolution.

When you purchase a new home with new appliances, your expect maybe a nick or dent somewhere, but not damage that cannot be repaired, and no one taking responsibility for the damage.

Desired outcome: A new refrigerator replacement refrigerator or a full price refund so we can purchase another refrigerator

Frigidaire New range - burners not working

I just recently purchased my new home which included a range, refrigerator, a microwave oven and a dishwasher. I sent in the registration form to Frigidaire and they sent me back a form to register my products. I called them on the phone when I got it in the mail and the lady took down my information and registered 3 of the 4 of my products. After using the range today, I noticed that several of the burners did not work, so I called them up to have a representative come out to fix them. The person I spoke with told me that I would have to wait till October 8th - 60 days, which I was not informed of when I gave them my credit card on the phone for the extended warranty. They said they could send someone out to fix my problem but I would have to pay for it now. This should not be as I am under their warranty. The man told me if I didn't want to wait that he could cancel out my warranty that I just took out. I told him no that I didn't want to do that and I hung up with him. This is not right that Frigidaire tells you that you are under a warranty but never informs you that you have to wait 60 days till it kicks in. This is very deceptive on their part. I give them an F for customer dissatisfaction and the way that this whole situation was handled.

Desired outcome: I would like for Frigidaire to come out to my new home now and fix the few burners that are not working on my brand new range in brand new home.

Frigidaire Frigidaire refrigerator!!

bought a frigeidaire Refrigerator stainless stell new from Lowes a year interest free.. the refrigerator came with twelve month waranty, with in months the freezer stor working,i called refrigeidare because it was still under factory warranty, they send a third party contractor e appliance they add freeon, two weeks later the bottom where produces are stoored started freezing as well by this time the warranty ran out and the refridgerator was only one year old, I contact Lowes and add a warranty they came to service the refridgerator, and said the third party contractor who came out that Frigeridare sent did not no what they were doing, added to much freeon and the reffrigerator can not be repaired .. The warranty that i purchased through Lowes denied the claim, because the refridgerator was damage by the third party contractors that refrigedaire sent.. refrgedaire will not replace it.. I had it for 15months and it gave me trouble from the begining >> is a piece of crap product now is leaking water all over my floor,, And rrigeidaire wont replace it, and it was their fought from the begaining, I have no money to replace the refridgerator, and I should not have too, What a awful way to treat your coustoer, to fatten your own pockets, on the customers dime! they are a piece of crap, customer!Dont ever purchase from this company are this brand!

Frigidaire Frigidaire gallery refrigerator

Purchased 8/22, installed 9/22, stopped working 6/23. Called for warranty service, after several no shows, on 7/11/23 local tech said freon issue, sealed system, timely and difficult to repair - good luck. Have called Frigidaire over 12 times, but only placed on hold or they hang up on me. Several have assured me will resolve "escalate to back room for replacement" after no techs available "in network" nor "out of network" but no resolution. Over 7 weeks without my $2400 appliance. Lowes won't help stating must deal with manufacturer. Last called on 8/9/23 and told denied as I didn't submit details but they kept assuring me I would get an email or phone call with info on how I provide this. They give me the run around trying to exasperate me. Lost all food in fridge/freezer, feeding family of 5 using dorm size. Need help!

Desired outcome: Would like a new refrigerator as no one in my area will fix and Frigidaire couldn't find anyone outside my area.

Frigidaire refrigerator hasn't worked since 7/3/2023 purchased 5/20/2023

I purchased my refrigerator on May 20th 2023 from lowes.. The refrigerator worked for 5 weeks and then stopped. The message from the fridge says HI on both fridge and freezer and makes an aweful noise, like a motor boat running that can be heard 3 rooms away. I contacted Frigerdaire numberous times, they sent a technician to repair it but didn't that was on July 9th. The fridge was still making an aweful noise and the HI message when he left. I called them back and they sent another company North East repair. He took the back of the freezer off found the sealed cooling system has failed it was covered with ice as well as the fan. The ice machine in the fridge is leaking, the freezer door gasket is not sealing and the light by the water dispenser doesn't work because according to the last technician that came here it's rusting away so that whole unit has to be replaced.

Now you want to send a third technician to my house, the same company that came the first time back again. I said no, I don't want them back again so they are sending it off to their escalation department again to try to send someone here. I have been without a fridge this whole time. Though I want my money back because your company is horrible to deal with, I was informed they will replace it if they deem it necessary. WELL I WANT A WORKING FRIDGE NOW! I have had enough of this game with your company.

Desired outcome: I want my money back so I can purchase another fridge and I want to be compensated for the stress and aggravation you have caused me along with over $800.00 of groceries

We're extremely sorry to hear of your frustration.

Whereas your purchase wasn't with Frigidaire directly, a refund would have to be processed through the retailer, in this case Lowe's. If problems with your appliance appear within 48 hours, they are allow to accept the unit back.

At this point, it's important that Frigidaire has ample opportunity to service the fridge.

I have exactly the same problem and exactly the same experience. This company used to be good. I think it's time for a class action lawsuit not only against them but the company that does the customer service.

Frigidaire Refrigerator continuing to leak after repairman said it was fixed

on 7/28 23 a repairman under work order [protected] came to fix a leak, He indicated that the work was completed and leak was fixed,

On8/2/23 I called [protected] to indicate that the refrigerator was leaking. Your employee by the name of Jason (talked to him at 3:02 pm) indicted that he had scheduled an appointment for today 8/8/23 from 8-12. I Waited today until after 1 pm to call the 855 number. it took 45 minutes to get another appointment. As of 2:05 pm i have NOT received the appointment information that i was told was being forwarded to my phone..

I was also informed that i had to accept another appointment as refunds were not available.

I have had 2 days of disruption of my life. I have had to pay others to do things that i usually do.

Desired outcome: Please Fix the leak or refund my payment. i have kept my end of this transaction.

Frigidaire Defective Appliance

I have a five month old refrigerator that has been freezing food since day one. I have spent hours on the line with their customer service just to have them follow their policy which doesn't allow a replacement, even after having a technician in my home four times already. They tell me on the phone there is nothing they can do but send another technician out. A different one, apparently who they hired the first time wasn't good enough. They are a mess.

Desired outcome: A replacement since the refrigerator I purchased from them is a lemon.

I have attached photo of invoice . It has all detail of product date bought every thing.

It did not work even 12 days. It has ice build up in side freezer all over. I have asked the help from dealer Teletime but I have been told to deal with the Frigdaire company and Teletime denied to replace the unit or refund.

Then have dealt with cosumer.[protected]@electolux.com

I have attached all my e-mails back and forth. Again I been denied to get replaced or refund.

Desired outcome: Ether replace with new unit or refund. I won't accept repair

Frigidaire Refrigerator service from customer service and technician sent to house

I have been trying to resolve an issue with my french door refrigerator for 2 months now with no results. There is terrible condensation inside the refrigerator as well as ice all over the back wall. The service man has been out here 3 times with no results. He will now not even answer my calls or texts. I've had no luck with your customer service as well. The refrigerator was under the one year warranty when I first called, and the last time I called I was informed that it was no longer under warranty and would have to pay for any work. After a slight argument with the rep she finally reluctantly agreed that because it was an ongoing situation that started under warranty she would "extend" it.

I have had to throw out food because of the flooding on the shelves as well as the freezing. The service man was going to call a frigidaire tech for help. That was almost 2 weeks ago.

I have been on the phone with customer service 4 times and corporate once.

I have about had it. Food is too expensive to be destroyed by a faulty refrigerator. I would like a replacement.

Frigidaire Extended service warranty

In 2019, I paid for a 5 year replacement warranty for my room ac.
On June 27, 2023 I received a replacement. The replacement is so noisy that no one could sleep in the same room when it is on.
On 7-3-2023, I called the service number and I was told I would receive another unit in 7 to 10 business days. I called 3 times and still don't have a unit. Please help me resolve this problem

Frigidaire Induction range

The Frigidaire induction range elements do not properly heat and the markings on the surface are deceiving. The markings on the top of the range show 10, 9, 9, and 6 inch elements, these are actually only 8, 6, 6 and 4 inch elements. Our range the 8 inch element will only heat 5 to 6 inches, the 6 inch elements only heat ~ 4 inches and the 4 inch element only heats 3 inches. This means the elements are only heating 50% of the advertised area! We have had 4 service calls and they say its the pan! We have tried cast iron and carbon steel both recommended in the manual with the same result and response. We need this unit to either work or we want our money back so that we can get a functioning induction range.

We have been trying to get this resolved for the last few months, currently 8-1-23.

Desired outcome: Fix it or return our money.

Frigidaire Customer service in your sales department.

I am a loyal customer of Frigidaire. My first home had a Frigidaire with the coils on the top. I expect Frigidaire to be loyal back to me.

Last week I bought a Frigidaire Dehumidifier. I am not good with the computer, so I had a man help me with the order, He helped me. I placed the order. #420876. I was told I would have to wait 3 -5 business days. I waited until today, July 28, 2023, and was told the order is still in the cart and we have to do it all over again. We did it all over again and now I'm told I have to wait another 3 -5 business days. The new order # is [protected].

Don't you think that your company should have the courtesy to ship it a little faster to me? It was delayed due to your error. I'd like to get it as quickly as possible, and your customer service says it can't be done.

Frigidaire Dehumidifier

I originally purchased a Frigidaire 70 pt. dehumidifier. I purchased an extended warranty program. When the unit failed, they sent me a 50 pt unit. Originally, they then said they identified the error and would pick up the 50 pt and replace it with a 70 pt. Nothing happened. I called again and they said it was going to be delivered in two days. Nothing happened. Calling again they said the case was closed out because they sent a unit, and they were done.

Frigidaire Frigidaire refrigerator

I ordered a 13.9 cubic ft Frigidaire refrigerator from Home Depot online. A delivery date was scheduled for 6/28/2023. The refrigerator was delivered and within 24 hours started leaking water onto my floor. I tried to call Home Depot on 6/30/2023, however they were closed for the weekend. I reached them on 7/3/2023 and told them about the leak. They sent a person on 7/5/2023 to look at it. He said they couldn't fix it and that I should ask for a new refrigerator. I called Home Depot the next day and asked for a new refrigerator, and they scheduled a repair person from Frigidaire (Electrolux) to look at it. The repair person came out and said that the drip pan was missing. He said they would order the part to be delivered to my address and that I should call when it arrived. An appointment was set up for 7/25/2023. Two days before the appointment I received a text that the delivery had been delayed and that my appointment was cancelled. They said I should call when the part arrives, but gave no indication on how long that would be. I called their repair number today and the representative said that they don't know when it will arrive. She said that I can call again if it doesn't arrive this week. I have been waiting since 6/28/2023 for this, and meanwhile my kitchen floor is getting soaked every day for almost a month now.

Desired outcome: Immediate repair or a new refrigerator.

We're sorry to hear of you recent frustration.

Per Home Depot's policy posted within each location as well as the website,

"DEFECTIVE OR DAMAGED MAJOR APPLIANCES – Before a customer either accepts a delivery or takes an order home from the store, major appliance products (including refrigeration appliances, washers, dryers, ranges, dishwashers and some microwaves) should be inspected for defects or damage. Once the delivery is accepted, the product may only be returned if it is found to be damaged or defective. For home deliveries, you must call [protected] to report the damage or defect within 48 hours of delivery. If the item was picked up in the store, please contact the store to report any damage or defect WITHIN 48 HOURS. Orders picked up in store will need to be returned to the store. Home Depot will not come to pick up returns."

By contact, Home Depot is required to follow this policy in order to receive any form of return authorization on the appliance.

Thankfully, your unit is still under the manufacturer's warranty. Hopefully, the missing piece is something Frigidaire will cover. In the meantime, a simple cookie sheet should do the job nicely.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Model #FFHB2940PS

This refrigerator has a design flaw that routinely causes the automatic icemaker/dispenser to stop working. Ice builds up at the back of the unit that causes the fan to freeze and that renders it useless. Most of the time, we have been able to return it to working condition by using a handheld hairdryer, spending about twenty minutes, to defrost the area around the fan in and around the back of the unit. Then we would cross our fingers and wait. After an inconsistent amount of time has passed, it might begin working again. But this shouldn't be something one should have to do on a weekly basis. (For quite a long period of time, I had to use a countertop icemaker to replace the one in my refrigerator that didn't work.) It is once again not working and this time, we have not been able to use this tweak to get it running again. There are hundreds of complaints to be found online about chronic problems with the icemakers on this model. Yet Frigidaire has done nothing to remedy the problem. The company should either replace these refrigerators or come up with a way to retrofit them with a proper icemaker.

Frigidaire freezer

Purchased Frigidaire freezer 11/2/16 and the dealer's tech has been here 8 times with the same problem ie. leaks water all over the floor. He has called the factory on many occasions and was told what to do to fix the problem but to no avail.The cooperation we are receiving from the dealer leaves alot to desire. The mfg. no. is fffu14f2qwg, Any help would be appreciated.

Frigidaire Dishwasher

This is the WORST dishwasher I have EVER owned. If the dishes aren't spotless when you put them in, it won't get them clean. You have to hand wash the dishes BEFORE and AFTER you wash them in this worthless appliance. It can't even clean fresh damp coffee film on a coffee cup. Put a coffee cup lined with damp film or filmy flatware in and wash it. When it's done, the film is baked on from the dry cycle. Don't even THINK about putting anything in the middle of the bottom rack. This useless dishwasher won't even TOUCH it! There are NO jets covering the middle section of the bottom rack. So, anything put there will be untouched and will come out as dirty as when you put it in.

This junk dishwasher is completely worthless! It's less work just washing the dishes by hand!

Desired outcome: I only want people to know what useless garbage Frigidaire dishwashers are.

Frigidaire FFUE2022AW6 freezer

We made a purchase from home Depot, a up right freezer 10 months ago and it quit working. Took a half of a day to find some one to talk to, after making a trip to Home Depot and talking to a manager that called this company and on the phone for 35 minutes a repair person was notified to come in 4 days. We lost a freezer full of meat that cost over a thousand dollars. This company could care less. Asked for a refund they refused. The Freezer quit working after 10 months and paid nearly 1000. The company only said they were sorry, but no compensation for our loss due to their freezer under warranty. They only wanted to sell a extended warranty. Dont buy their products they suck.

I'm sorry to hear of your frustration.

Warranty is a guarantee to service, not to necessary replace. Although some warranties can cover food loss, others do not.

Under contract with many manufacturers, a product is not automatically replaceable from the retailer after nearly a year of use.

Please, let us know if the unit is not serviced properly.
