Etsy Withholding funds for no reason

ETSY placed my shop on "reserve status" even though I did nothing wrong.

I am a five-star seller, ship my product fast, free and trackable via USPS Priority mail.

I am not a new shop, have not had a great increase in sales, nor broken any policy. In fact, I have been awarded a "Star Seller" multiple times.

They will now withhold (steal) any funds from sales for 45 days before release.

They stated after I contacted them and escalated my claim, that they would contact me in 24 hours, and then ignored me, which says that THEY have misleading communication and terrible customer service, not me!

Desired outcome: I want them to take my shop off of "reserve" status and apologize to me.

Etsy Payments to sellers

My last two orders which were couple weeks ago the package arrived and they said they’re enacted like that package heading arrived and they didn’t send me any money and then by the time it was it was there I never still never got any money I sold two more Simpson items and they still got 49 or something dollars of mine on hold And they haven’t released yet and I am having a hard time shipping. What I’m selling now because they haven’t paid me. They are the worst at paying the sellers were the last ones to be taken care of and I spend money shipping and of course there’s my items that I’m out and they take care of themselves and everybody else and take care of us last I despise it see if there’s some place else I could go, I would.

Desired outcome: I’d be happy if they don’t pay me what they owe me that would make me happy like fast

Etsy Etsy staff member and Dealer: BESTSALESBUYS

Long story short, last week I ordered a couple of decals for my truck and car. One order was cancelled because the ETSY associate didn't like me questioning him about an overcharge. That order was refunded after several abusive emails from this associate. Of course, when I filled out a harassment form, nothing was done. I then ordered a second decal from BESTSALES BUYS, located in Coconut Creek, FL. The package came today but there was nothing in it except a small piece of cardboard. Upon my email to this Dealer, he had the Gaul to accuse of lying to him, threatening me with lawsuits and refusing to refund my account completely after several request to do so. Etsy has been contacted and they have not responded. I assure you; I do not take this kind of treatment lightly and am gathering all info for possible litigating against Etsy and their Associate and Dealer mentioned above. If you really care about helping your customers, then I please respond to me ASAP. Thank you.

Desired outcome: A COMPLETE REFUND to my account and termination of Mr. Ben Lanson and Dealer 'AL" Poppi. These are the two abusive characters stated in this matter above.

This seller sent me his other website to sell seeds , and KI refused so he gtrenthened to burn my home down to the ground and have his tec's gain controll of mt PC , I reported it ti etsy and they were sorry and still let him sell on ther site , this cost me a lot of money as he got into my Amazon prime acount andn cost me well ovwr a thousand dollars . I feel since etsy did nothinf=g and still lets him sell . I want etsy to pay for my loses with hight intrest as I am also 67 , elderly abuse , as etsy is aided and abiding a deth threat, here is a copy and it still exsist on etsy : John...I just read the what you just left

Etsy Withholding my payment due and refusing to provide service that I've paid for without refunding my payments

I had been a seller on Etsy since 2014, and according to their guidelines, I was considered one of their “Star Sellers”. I always shipped on time with tracking information, and I had over a 4.8 rating from customers who had purchased from me, along with many repeat buyers.

In November of 2022, I had listed two items, which were deactivated by Etsy, as they were deemed offensive. I asked for further explanation as I had listed similar items in the past with no issue, but I was only referred to a basic rule that was subjective, and I never received a response.

On February 24th, I listed five separate items. Once again, one of them was deemed demeaning by Etsy, and because of this Etsy closed my entire store down. No person gave an actual review of my store, and no one has given me any type of explanation as to what exactly was demeaning about my item.

As a result, my approximately 190 other listings were deactivated, including the 4 other listings that I had posted that same day. Etsy is now refusing to refund me for the listings that I paid for that they refuse to list. They are also holding what money is due to me from previous sales, and I was informed that they would not pay me what is due to me until late August. At this point in time, all previous sales have been delivered. If any issues arise, Etsy has my credit card information that they can be used if needed; there is no reason that they should be withholding my payment due. As far as I know, they don’t pay interest on my money either. Unfortunately, I cannot find this out as they will not answer any of my questions.

Desired outcome: I deserve to be reimbursed for payment for listings that they refuse to honor, and I deserve to receive my money that is owed to me for my sales.

Etsy Verify bank account

I have been trying for weeks to Varify my bank account with my online Bank statement ,I have spoken to several Robots in customer services,I am a 59 year old man my Pc skills are basic ,I can copy and paste but when it comes to different files not got a clue ,not one person who has replied has helped they do not read the problem I am having ,they don't care I am just another number extremely disappointed,in fact disgusted ,your company is quick to take money but not paying it out I have removed every selling post of my account,I asked for another way to supply a copy of my bank statement,is there a way money is tight and you have £130 of my money and you will not put it in my account ,why I have had payments from Etsy I have done the deposit nearly 7 years ago so it's blatant obvious it's my bank account ,if you can send me a email so I can send a copy of my bank statement that would be great if not just transfer the money and you can close my account

Etsy Incorrect design / bad customer service / consent of image

Hello,

I would like to issue a formal complaint to the shop I purchased from on the 29th November 'Cartoonize Me Into'.

Quick time line of what has occurred:

- Brought digital image on 29th November was told image would be 5 working days

- Chased 10th December (11 days later)

- Image received 10th December however image was incorrect, gave benefit of the doubt and asked to just move a butterfly tattoo from neck to chest (ignored the rest even though the detail wasn't as i'd originally asked for)

- 11th December told this would take a further 10 days on average. The change wasn't a request made after the purchase therefore was surprised how long this would take due to only asking to move the butterfly. This was a christmas present, due to only being the digital print I needed to print this onto canvas which would result in not being here in time.

- 11th December opened a case with Etsy and asked for a replacement. Apologised for having to do so as i didn't want to.

- 12th December replacement received along with a message 'Order revised although you jumped in line before all of our other customers' i then replied 'Wouldn't of had to if you got it right in the first place'

- 19th February left a 1 star review, there was no apology and were rude therefore i felt this was fair.

- 25th February i had a reply stating that i was apparently told in advance with how long the order would take (apparently longer due to detail) and offered a refund which is incorrect. They have also used the link to my digital purchase without my consent to see what others view in regards to the image when actually my review was based on their customer service.

- 2nd March I opened another case due to false accusations.

- 3rd March Etsy support mediation team closed the case and issued me a refund.

- 4th March I again received rude messages from Etsy Seller which is completely unnecessary. (messages will be in images below for everything including my responses).

I have already received a refund however i wish to prevent other customers experiencing the same customer service as myself. Please take down the digital image of myself and partner as I do not give consent for this to be shown. The Etsy Seller needs to amend their reply to the truth / apologise.

Etsy Select Your Fashion - Katerina Alum

Good Evening

On Friday 9th December 2022 I placed an order for 2 x Cable Knit Cardigans from the above mentioned company.

I have been in contact with the owner Katarina Alum, I stated that I had never received my order.

Her response was that it had been delivered long ago.

Which it had not.

I have been to the Post Office and I have a photo from the clerk proving that the parcel in question had been lost in the post over the Christmas period.

I have communicated this to Katerina and asked for a full refund, she has not bothered to reply.

Please can you explain to me where I stand with this claim, as Katerina is no longer answering me.

Etsy Items returned

Regarding order # [protected]

I ordered 37 Brushed Brass cabinet handles from Forge Hardware Studio. I received them on 2/7/2023. They were all individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve and stuffed into a very small box. We removed 1 from its plastic to see how it looked mounted. I realized that the handles were way too long when I mounted it vertically. So I wrote the seller to say I was sending them back. We sent it back in the same box they came in. The seller received them and said 18 out of the 37 were scratched or damaged and would not refund me that money. She only refunded me for 19 handles ($494.81) that were undamaged. The total for all handles was $1204.48. Each handle was $29.90. I feel that I am being accused of damaging the other handles when they were never removed so they could have been damaged in transit or before we received them.

I feel we should be refunded a reasonable amount following their return policy.

Desired outcome: We should get a full refund minus the sellers return policy. My email address is [protected]@gmail.com

Etsy Non-receipt or notification of purchased item from ShariRoseShop

Purchased a headband from ShariRoseShop ([protected]) on February 2, 2023 for $14.00 with tax came to $15.09. My American Express credit card was charged for the amount of $15.09 on February 2, 2023. I contacted ShariRoseShop by email with a concern that my order might not be received in time for a birthday celebration and asked for advice if I should continue with the order or cancel. No reply was ever received!

The confirmation number on the order is: [protected]

I tried to select the link in the email from ShariRoseShop and when I do, this message pops up: "Uh oh! Sorry, the page you were looking for was not found." I have tried to contact this site, but to no avail.

My credit card was charged and no product received nor has there been any communication from this company regarding the status (in process, delayed, back-ordered, cancelled, etc.). This has been the most unprofessional company I have engaged with. Will not do business with them in the future.

Desired outcome: 1. Reimbursement for the charge on my credit card with no intent to deliver a product to me.2. An apology! This left me hanging. A response to my message would have been useful so that I could know how to move forward.

Etsy Etsy is allowing buyers to fraud me and file illegal chargebacks

The issue that I have experienced was: Etsy suspended my account out of no where. This is a common problem that other sellers have described in complaints as well. Then they have been refunding buyers immediately even though the tracking is showing that the items have already been delivered or are close to being delivered. Buyers have started to scam me and other sellers by waiting until their item is getting close and then requesting a refund.

I have proof but since there are PII on them I will not blur them out but provide to Etsy once the contact me to protect privacy.

Desired outcome: I would like all of the funds that Etsy refunded to be returned to me since the buyers got the item

Etsy My 2 listings have been deactivated

I have been on Etsy since 2013. This is the 3rd time this year that I find my Best Selling Eczema Cream has been deactivated without any communication. My Facial Oil is now also deactivated. I have reached out to Etsy since 02/06. Called every day. Still waiting on a response. I'm pissed and upset.

Just tell me what I need to do and I will do it

Etsy Did not receive product

I ordered decorative pillowcases. When they were not received, I contacted FED EX, where I got poor customer service, but learned the tracking number was "fake" and that they have seen this before-essentially they described this as a SCAM.

The tracking number provided indicated the package was delivered, but because the tracking number is fake, there is no package. We looked high and low, but no box, and of course, there would not be one because it was a scam and the tracking number was not actual. I was unable to open a case because the seller would respond to my messages saying the package was delivered and it requires 48 hours for a seller not to respond for opening a case. Therefore, even if the seller says they aren't going to help you because they are a scammer, they have responded to your message and you cannot open a case until they are unresponsive for 48 hours.

In other words, you have been scammed and you will not get help from ETSY. this will be my last ETSY transaction.

User's recommendation: buy from amazon prime where you at least have recourse if a package is not delivered.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Etsy Pros: Unique items on etsy.

Etsy Cons: No recourse if you are scammed.

Etsy Shady policies

I do not believe that it is any secret now that Etsy's business practices are more than unfair.

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with Etsy's recent actions regarding my shop. Without warning, my shop was banned by Etsy and they also refunded buyers even though I had already shipped the product to them. This has caused me significant financial loss and damage to my reputation as a seller.

I have been an active and compliant seller on Etsy and have never received any negative feedback or violations of Etsy's policies. The sudden ban and refunding of buyers without proper investigation and communication with me is unacceptable and has caused me significant harm.

Desired outcome: I would like Etsy to lift the ban on my shop, reinstate my sales, and compensate me for the financial loss and damage to my reputation caused by their actions.

Etsy I am an Etsy seller and are not receiving my payments even though they keep verifying my bank account

I have had an Etsy account since 2020 however I have not used it until April 2022. I have been selling my product well since then however I have never received any payments.

I have two issues - 1/ I am receiving no payments for my sales

2/ Esty claims they have paid me twice but I have not received these and they are not looking into this.

I have uploaded my bank account well over 20 times. I have had it manually verified many times. I have tried two accounts Worldfirst and Payoneer. Both these banks have verified these accounts are correct, plus I have been receiving money into these accounts for over two years on other platforms. I have noticed that sometimes a payment gets paid but then it is returned. I have checked with both my banks and they can't see any reason for this.

I have opened several cases with Etsy and yet these have not been resolved even though I have been told it has been escalated. I filed my last case in December and have been following up by phone since then. Still nothing.

To date, I am owed $11,701.78 AUD (including the two payments Etsy claim to have paid, as below.)

Esty says they made two payments to my World first account in August but I have never received these. The two payments total $1440.62. I got a letter from Worldfirst to say I didn't get the funds and have submitted this also. Still nothing

I would like to continue selling on Etsy as I have good ratings and am a recommended seller.

I no longer know what to do.

Desired outcome: I would like to receive my funds and for Etsy to sort out why I am not getting paid so I can continue to sell. At the very least I would like my payment and then close my account. I enjoy selling on Etsy but need to be paid.

Etsy Order 275971 boot bling

I ordered this item $15.00 thinking at that price I was getting a pair. Because you wear boots as a pair. Know where in the ad did it state they are sold as one single item, I ordered 3 of them and much to my disappointment I receive 3 single ones of different color.
I called the seller and left a message, expressing my concerns, I have sent several messages for help with no reply from anyone. I have always ordered and paid
So why can I get help?

The sony cassette deck I purchased from Etsy doesn't work! The "PLAY", "FAST FORWARD" and "REWIND" all do nothing! It might as well be turned off! My order number is [protected]. Etsy I am complaining about the delivery of transaction ID: [protected], order# [protected].

The order for above item was placed on 3 November 2022 and after almost three months, the item was not received. Kerem of meerschaumUK was contacted several times but a replay was never received as well. It appears that this transaction went horribly wrong.
Considering Etsy's honesty and integrity, some action is urgently needed.
Please do not ignore this message like Kerem did and I wish to hear from you soon in regards.
