Etsy My Shop being Unfairly Shut down due to identity fraud

My account was permanently suspended for someone stealing my identity

I've reached out multiple times and Etsy will not even consider helping me and says because of association with a suspended account I can no longer use the platform I was living with a tenant of mine at the time who used my information without consent to run his store which supposedly violated etsys rules

If my report request are not acknowledged and fully read I want to file lawsuit against this platform and their injust democratic operations that do not reflect any fairness to the shop owners or have the shop owners best interest at heart

Etsy is a hypocritical platform that suspends innocent people and allows shops wracking in the money to continue to bend the rules

Desired outcome: My wrongfully closed store back Etsy to run a fair platform that looks out for genuine sellers best interest and not letting big money makers break the rules while banning people not breaking any cause they don't rack in the cash

Etsy Unfair case sided

I am an Etsy Seller and have recently found out my account is going to be suspended. This I have accepted and can move on from. However certain customers have picked up on this and have opened cases.

On 3rd July a customer called Emma filed a case stating her products were damaged. This is incorrect bearing in mind she received her order over 8 weeks ago and I have a strict returns policy. Anyway Etsy gave me 3minutes to respond to the case which is highly unfair and discriminatory of me as a seller and sided with the customer and provided her with a full refund and advised her to keep the items.

I had already sent a courier to collect the items she wanted to return and she refused to give them to the courier. I have now tried to contact the customers and she is refusing to give me the items back now she has received her full refund. She is still going to use the furniture and have her money back which is leaving me and my team out of pocket by £150.

Etsy are disgusting for treating me like this

Desired outcome: I want a refund back for the items my customer has refused to return to me or I want my items back. I also want an apology from Etsy for treating me like a criminal

Etsy Figold....

Ring, order [protected]. This has been going on since Jun 10, when it arrived it was too small so I requested a larger size.

They informed me first it would be an additional $60 to remake.

I said No. I wanted a Refund.

Then they said they would do a remake for $20.

I said NO. I want a Refund

THEN They said no Refund on Discounted items. Nowhere does it say that in their advertisement.

So I am saying AGAIN please give me their mailing address so that I can RETURN the ring for a REFUND.

Desired outcome: Please Refund.

Etsy 3D model Avatar

I contacted the shop for a repair or replacement, they gave me attitude, threatened me and mocked me, for no reason other than they felt their work had been disrespected. It needed repairs they were happy to oblige at first but then argued because they did not want to do the work, I had to request a refund from my bank. The shop in question is witchywomanapothecary formerly known as Faerie_lites.They have been passive aggressive, rude and unprofessional. They noticed the issues yet sold me the product anyway. They threatened defamation against my character to their artist frriends, even though I have done nothing wrong. I am a 52 year old vulnerable disabled woman, who only wished for my 3D avatar to look the way i desired and paid the money for, they were rude and said i was the problem, i then accepted the product for a quiet life but they still kept coming after me, and verbally attacking me. The model is basic functional, not fully functional for intended purpose, nor of good quality, or as listed by the seller under the consumer rights act. There are tears and rips on the jacket, front and back, tears and rips on the skirt, and the underwear does not cover the models bits under the skirt. I suggested perhaps shorts would be a good fix instead, then i said perhaps keep the short skirt if it can be fixed and the panties adjusted accordingly, then for a quiet life i said well i can use the model without the jacket, but i wanted to use the model with the jacket and I couldn`t so it has been a very strressful experience. They were rude and unprofessional. I requested a refund from the bank and I should be able to keep it without the seller lying to their bank about the whole drama, they should have repaired or replaced it, they did neither they said it did not need fixing. They threaten me, and cause me distress. They should allow me to keep the refund, the model does not function fully as it should nor is it of good quality as you can see from the video.

Desired outcome: They should not be allowed to sell the item in their shop as they cannot fix the issues without changing the design, it is my creative content.

Etsy Etsy putting reserve on my shop for no reason

I have had my etsy store almost a decade. My ratings are mostly 5* (i have 4.8* overall over 9 years).

For some reason etsy placed a reserve on my account, are holding 75% of my funds AND they take their greedy fees from my portion (the 25%) which leaves me with about 12% of revenue. This will apparently continue for 90 days.

I have emailed 6 times, and received 6 generic replies which do not help in the slightest.

One email said "we want to ensure you we have the technical framework in place to uphold the reserve". What is that?!

Desired outcome: Lift the reserve

Etsy Etsy Shop

I am reaching out today to share an unsettling experience I've had with the Etsy platform. My hope is to shed light on the situation and seek advice from those who may have faced similar issues.

Recently, my Etsy account was abruptly suspended. The reason provided was a purported violation of Etsy's terms of service, but no specific infraction was pointed out, leaving me utterly perplexed and concerned.

Adding to my frustration, I noticed that several Etsy vendors continue to sell products identical to mine, even after my account has been suspended for supposedly selling items that did not comply with Etsy's guidelines. This glaring inconsistency in enforcement leaves me questioning the fairness and transparency of Etsy's policies.

What adds further insult to injury is the issue of my retained earnings. Etsy is withholding the money I've earned from my recent sales. I am genuinely shocked and find it bewildering that the funds I earned through fair transactions could be seized without a clear explanation.

I am seeking:

A thorough explanation of the alleged violations that led to my account suspension.

A clarification on why my products were flagged, while identical products continue to be sold by other vendors on Etsy.

Immediate action regarding the retained funds from my recent sales, which I believe should be rightfully returned to me.

I share this experience with a sense of disappointment, as I had always respected Etsy as a platform that encourages creativity and small businesses. I genuinely hope this is a singular occurrence rather than a reflection of their standard practices.

If anyone has faced similar issues or has any advice on how to effectively address this situation, your input would be greatly appreciated. I am open to constructive dialogue and sincerely hope that Etsy will do what is right for its community of sellers, who invest considerable time, effort, and creativity into making the platform a dynamic marketplace.

Thank you for reading and looking forward to your valuable insights.

Desired outcome: I would like for them to provide me with my money

Same thing happened to me. Taken off the platform, no explanation as to why, refunds given to customers who still have the goods, unable to withdraw funds ( assuming they haven't given it all away ).

Etsy terms and conditions say they have two weeks to investigate. They have had five weeks and have heard nothing, despite repeatedly emailing.

If you go on the chat and ask for a supervisor they want to know chapter and verse before they do anything, then they decide it's not worthy of their time and cut you off.

Repeat and repeat the above for hours and hours

Can't sell anything, can't get at funds, no reason as to what I've supposedly done wrong, no chance to resolve - thats the Etsy way !

Advice appreciated.

Etsy Etsy has been holding $8k in my revenue for no reason

I've been an etsy seller for over a decade and about a month ago they put a hold on my account 'because I've had more sales than normal' They are holding 75% of my revenue off of sales that have shipped and have been delivered. This is ridiculous and I can't believe it's legal. There is no reliable way to get ahold of anyone at etsy to resolve the problem and my emails to 'seller support' have not been answered.

Desired outcome: etsy to go up in flames

It seems they're targeting successful stores for their reserve. I have also had this happen and had a couple of other etsy sellers confirm it has happened to them too. I don't understand how they have the audacity to do this to their sellers? I hope it gets resolved for you. X

Etsy Terrible Experience with ETSY: Unfair Rules, Poor Customer Service, and Blocked Communication #ETSYSUCKS

I recently had a terrible experience with ETSY. I tried to open a case against a shop owner who had a long list of rules that were constantly changing to suit her narrative. She didn't even bother to have a conversation with me. I was not allowed to write a 1-2 star review and had to like the item. I had to ask permission to return an item and there were no cancellations allowed. I had to get the item first and then return it after asking permission. This was 100% BS.

The shop owner could talk to ETSY anytime, but I had to wait for 2 weeks and now I'm blocked. I sent the bracelet back, paid $5.00 to ship it with tracking, and paid for her to ship it 8 days after ordering. The bracelets I bought with free shipping arrived the day she shipped. I ordered all the bracelets the same day from various sellers, but there were no issues with the others. I am a repeat buyer for one order.

When I ordered, her rule was to ship within 3-5 days. I ordered on June 28, so the ship date should have been July 2, 2021. However, she waited until the following Tuesday, July 6, 2021. Once I received it, I noticed the tassel on the bracelet was too long and it would get caught on things. That was my reason for returning it. I actually wanted to like it, so I wouldn't spend $10.00 on shipping to get nothing. That is exactly what happened because I can't open a case.

The leather on the bracelet isn't a true brown. It's more like baby-poop from breast-fed babies, brown. Elizabeth contradicted her own rules, and ETSY does not understand that I called her names to get her to get them involved, and it worked. They are involved, but it's all one-sided. There is no link for me, and 2 weeks went by, so now why can't I open a case? She told her side, and they blocked my messaging. They demanded I reply to the email they sent me, and I did.

I shipped it back the day it arrived, put the tracking in the email, and ETSY refuses to respond to it after ordering me to deal with them via email. I spent $10.00 on this BS, and now they are balking on giving me a refund of $27.10. BTW: Beth added a "shop discount code" to make it be on sale as a tactic to not allow me to send it back. I sent it back. Guess what? Every state has a "3 day contract cancellation" rule, and Elizabeth has no authority to override it. Nor does ETSY.

Now, crickets from ETSY, so I am telling my case on every review website I'm able to. It's very unfair since I was on ETSY for 2 decades, and I never had any issues with sellers. Elizabeth from Arizona is a narcissist/control freak. 0 customer service, and I'm giving her a 0-star review without asking her permission. #ETSYSUCKS.

Etsy Etsy Shipping to Germany: A Cautionary Tale

I gotta say, my experience with Etsy / JFJones and shipping to Germany was not exactly a walk in the park. I'm writing this review to give y'all a heads up if you're thinking of sending a gift to someone in Europe - make sure you know what you're getting into. Long story short, my friend had to cough up $60 in taxes and spend over 2 hours retrieving the package. Plus, it took over a month to arrive, and if they hadn't been home, it would've been shipped back to the US. Not exactly the smoothest process.

So, here's what happened. I ordered a big ol' mobile on November 30, 2017. The item listing said VAT was included (if applicable), and shipping within the US was free, but not to Germany. After I made the purchase, I got a receipt that said "Additional duties and taxes may apply" (check out the link below). I marked it as a gift.

I got a notification that it had shipped on December 12, 2017, with three-day priority mail. Another note said it would arrive in 6-10 days. The tracking (USPS via Etsy) showed that customs clearance was complete on December 23, and that it was delivered on December 30. But my friend hadn't received it.

On January 4, 2018, they got a letter from customs saying that if they didn't pick up the package within 10 days, they'd be charged a holding fee. And if they didn't pick it up within 14 days (from December 30), it would be sent back. There was no warning about this in the tracker, so if they'd been on vacation or something, they could've missed the window.

Customs officials said that the package didn't have the right documentation to prove it was a gift, so they stopped delivery and demanded a tax payment. Even when I gave them the documentation I got from Etsy, it wasn't enough. But honestly, I think the cost ($225, plus $42 for shipping) was probably the main reason for the tax of about 50 Euros.

Now, the sales page did say VAT was included (if applicable), but if you dig deeper into Etsy, you'll find a disclaimer (and the receipt I got after purchasing also said "Additional duties and taxes may apply"). Here's the link: https://www.etsy.com/help/article/502. It says that when you ship internationally, the package might be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges will usually be due when the goods arrive in the destination country. Some countries might require certain documentation before the items are sent, and if you don't provide it, there might be delays. Most sellers on Etsy can't predict which fees will be applied, and Etsy doesn't expect them to calculate or collect these fees or taxes. This should be explained in the seller's shop policies.

All that being said, the mobile itself is really nice. Just be aware that it might come with a higher price tag and more hassle for the recipient.

Etsy Buyer Beware: My Experience with Etsy Sellers and Tips for Safe Shopping

Etsy is a great place to find unique handmade items and support artisans, but be careful of some sellers. I've had some bad experiences with mystery purchases and items not being as described. Some sellers charge outrageous shipping fees for lightweight items, and I've been ripped off a few times. For example, I asked for high waist jeans with 1" cuffs, but received a pair with 0.5" cuffs and the cut-off area kept showing. I also received a vintage sweater that was supposed to be black, but was actually a dark navy blue and very scratchy.

I've also purchased items that were supposed to be handmade, but were actually mass produced products from Asia. It was only obvious after I saw multiple sellers selling the exact same item. I've also had issues with sellers taking forever to reply to my messages and giving me attitude. It's important to research the item you want to purchase and double check with the seller before buying.

I've also tried selling on Etsy, but unfortunately didn't make any sales. However, their fees are reasonable compared to eBay. It's important to be a reasonable buyer and respect no-return policies, but also not be tempted to buy trash or pay retail price for clothing that's decades old. Some sellers also charge ridiculous shipping fees for lightweight items, which is frustrating.

Overall, Etsy is a great platform for finding unique handmade items and supporting artisans, but be careful of some sellers and do your research before buying.

Etsy Etsy: A Disappointing Platform for Handmade Items and Small Businesses

Etsy is a website that has been around since 2005. It used to be a great place to shop for handmade items, but things have changed. Many people have had their shops shut down or their accounts deactivated without any warning or explanation. Etsy claims to send emails regarding copyright issues, but many sellers never receive them. Even if they do, Etsy doesn't seem to care about what the seller has to say. They allow over 30,000 items to be sold on their website that are the same as what they accuse others of copyright infringement. The reason for this is that most of these sellers are resellers who make a lot of sales by reselling items from China, India, Asia, and other places. The more sales these resellers make, the more money Etsy makes. This is a problem because Etsy is supposed to be for handmade items, not reselling.

If you have a problem with Etsy, good luck trying to get in touch with them. There is a phone number on their website, but it's just a recording. You can leave as many messages as you want, but they won't return your calls. The only way to contact them is through email, but they take forever to respond. You can even email their CEO, Chad $#*!erson, but you won't get a reply. He only seems to care about interviews and doesn't care about his customers at all.

If you're thinking about opening a shop on Etsy, don't. You never know when they will shut you down for no reason. They don't care if this is your only job and your only source of income. They will just shut you off without any warning or explanation. Etsy is the worst website company in the world. Don't buy or sell there, or you will regret it forever.

If your shop gets shut down, you can't even buy from Etsy anymore. They really don't want customers at all. If you sell on Etsy, you can't even say anything bad about them on their forum. They will mute you or shut down your shop to shut you off. You can't even have your own opinion.

If you search for "Etsy complaints" on Google, you will find many articles about them. You can report shops that violate Etsy policies, but if they are power sellers, Etsy won't care. They are only in it for the money.

If you have a complaint about Etsy, you can file it with the Attorney General in New York or with the Better Business Bureau. Etsy is not BBB accredited, so be careful when buying or selling on their website.

Etsy Etsy Review: Low Expectations for Sellers in 2021

Been sellin' on Etsy since early '09. It was pretty great back then, a decent alternative to eBay. But it always bothered me that they had limits on what you could sell. I used to sell high end couture and vintage fashion on eBay, but on Etsy, they wouldn't let me sell anything newer than 20 years old. That's always been a drawback. They should allow the high end couture items, 'cause they're unique pieces and it's recycled fashion, which is always good to reuse and reduce waste. Plus, these pieces aren't mass-produced, which is what Etsy is all about. That rule still exists today, but now they allow mass-produced items and resale items younger than 20 years old are still not allowed.

Etsy has slowly changed in the way they treat sellers too. Fees are still pretty low, but sellers can't leave feedback for buyers, not even positive feedback. And buyers can't leave feedback for sellers until weeks after they buy the item. By then, most forget about feedback and move on. Most sales never receive feedback. They also keep changing the look of the item pages, and it's never for the better. Seems like they waste a lot of effort/money/time "improving" things on the site that don't need improvement while other things are never even considered for improvement but do need it.

The forums are also highly censored. That part is only getting worse. And the punishments are handed down pretty arbitrarily. The threads used to be pretty fun to participate in, even though it sometimes became heated, at least it was real. They've really taken the reality out of it. Also, you have the regular forum visitors that are in constant defense of Etsy's unnecessary and lame changes. It just seems like the whole vibe there is going toward censorship, corporatocracy, cookie cutter and plain lameness.

Also, the site is now over saturated thanks to the influx of sellers offering mass-produced items, and views have really plummeted, causing sales to plummet as well. Selling used to be relatively easy. You just listed and the item sold a few days later usually. Now, because of a relevancy-based search instead of a chronological one, you can't just relist your item to return it to a higher place in search. You have to constantly re-tweak your SEO to remain relevant. It's so much work for literally a few dollars in profit. The revenue Etsy generates for the average seller is a fraction of what you'd receive at an easy part-time minimum wage job. The amount of work the maintenance required to sell a $12 item in an Etsy shop turns out to pay the seller a few cents per hour. It really has just become overall not worth bothering with for most people. It probably works well for the people who are always featured and re-featured on the main page, i.e., the favorites, which is a whole additional issue.

A lot of little things adding up with this site, I'm sure I failed to mention some. If you want to open a shop there, just have low expectations.

Etsy Etsy's Corporate Greed: How Rising Fees and Global Manufacturers are Hurting Small Business Owners

I've been keeping an eye on Etsy for a few years now, trying to decide if it's the right place for me to sell my merchandise. At first, I was impressed with how responsive they were to the needs of sellers. But then they went public and everything changed. As soon as they hit the stock market, I knew they would become more focused on investors than on buyers and sellers.

And that's exactly what happened. Etsy started raising their fees left and right. First, they raised selling fees. Then they started taking a cut of shipping fees and passing the cost on to sellers. They also increased transaction fees, advertising fees, and venue fees. And if that wasn't enough, they started forcing people to advertise and deducting the money from their accounts whether they agreed to it or not.

All of these fees add up, and it's the small business owners who suffer. Many of the sellers on Etsy are stay-at-home moms or otherwise unemployed, and they rely on their Etsy shops to make ends meet. But with all of these rising costs, it's becoming harder and harder for them to turn a profit. They have to keep raising their prices, and eventually, customers stop buying.

To make matters worse, Etsy started inviting in global manufacturers, including huge factories in China. These manufacturers have large advertising budgets, which means they can outcompete individual sellers. Etsy's search program also went to the highest bidder, which meant that small shops were pitted against each other and the little shops lost out.

Now Etsy's latest thing is forcing people to offer free shipping or risk losing priority placement. But the truth is, there's no one-size-fits-all formula for shipping costs. Items are mailed by weight and distance, and it's impossible to come up with a single cost that works for everyone.

I've watched talented sellers drop out of Etsy one by one. It's heartbreaking to see how corporate greed has taken over and how Etsy has sold out its original mission. They no longer care about their sellers or buyers. Customer service is virtually non-existent, and they've even taken away the in-listing way to report violations of Truth In Advertising.

Some sellers are claiming that their items are authentic or vintage when they're really just reproductions. But Etsy doesn't care as long as they're making money. It's up to buyers to look out for themselves and ask pointed questions.

For most people with small owner-run shops on Etsy, they make less than minimum wage no matter how hard they work. It's just not worth it anymore.

Etsy My Love-Hate Relationship with Etsy: A Seller's Story

I gotta say, I had a real love-hate relationship with Etsy. At first, I was totally stoked to be a seller on there. I mean, who wouldn't be? It's like a dream come true for crafty folks like me. I made all my own products from scratch and had nothing but 5-star reviews and happy customers. But then, out of nowhere, they shut my shop down. Can you believe that? They said my products didn't fit in with their "hand made" theme. What a load of crap.

So I did what any reasonable person would do and sent them like 30 emails telling them that I absolutely make my own products. But they weren't having it. They said I needed to send them receipts and photos of all my supplies. Like, are you kidding me? That was a huge pain in the butt, but I did it anyway. And then I waited. And waited. And waited some more. And you know what? I never heard back from them. Not a peep.

It's like they didn't care at all about all the hard work I put into my shop. And the worst part is that there were tons of other shops on there selling products that were clearly not hand made. I mean, come on. It's like they were just picking on me for no reason.

And then, to add insult to injury, they suspended me from even shopping on Etsy. Like, what did I do wrong? It's not like I was causing any trouble or anything. It's just ridiculous.

But you know what? As much as I hate Etsy, there really isn't any other site that compares. I mean, yeah, there are other options out there, but none of them have the same kind of community or customer base. It's a real shame.

So here's my advice to anyone thinking about selling on Etsy: don't put all your eggs in one basket. Seriously. It's just a matter of time before they screw you over. And when they do, there's nothing you can do about it. They don't care about you or your business. They just want to make money.

And to all the buyers out there, I say this: use PayPal. It's not perfect, but at least you have some recourse if you don't get what you paid for. And don't forget to check out reviews before you buy anything. It's the best way to protect yourself.

Anyway, that's my two cents. Take it or leave it.

Etsy Etsy: A Nightmare for Sellers - Lack of Protection, Stolen Content, and Punitive Actions

I've been using Etsy for a while now, and I have to say, it's not what it used to be. When I first started, it was a great place to sell handmade items and connect with customers. But now, it's become a nightmare for sellers like me.

One of the biggest problems I've encountered is that Etsy doesn't seem to care about protecting sellers from copycats. I had a seller steal my designs and sell them as their own, and when I tried to get Etsy to intervene, they basically told me that they encourage this kind of behavior. It's frustrating to see someone else profit off of your hard work, and Etsy doesn't seem to care.

Another issue I've had is with their front page sellers. One of them stole my pictures and descriptions for their own item, and when I asked Etsy to intervene, they didn't do anything. I had to fight for weeks to get the seller to remove the stolen content, and even then, Etsy didn't link the item back to my store.

The final straw for me was when a jewelry company stole one of my designs and copyrighted it. Etsy's legal team sent me a threatening email telling me not to relist the item, and they removed it from my store along with all of the past transactions. It was like they were punishing me for something that wasn't my fault.

But those aren't the only issues with Etsy. They allow factory-made items to be sold as handmade, and they don't seem to care about fake locations or slave labor. And when a customer tried to blackmail me for a refund, Etsy refused to help and even locked my account. It's ridiculous that one negative review can bring down an entire store, and Etsy doesn't seem to care about the impact it has on small businesses.

To make matters worse, even after I closed my store, Etsy was still using my business name, products, and descriptions to lure customers to their site. It's like they don't care about the people who actually create the products they sell.

Overall, I would not recommend using Etsy for buying or selling. They don't seem to care about their sellers, and they're more interested in making a profit than protecting the people who use their platform. It's a shame, because it used to be a great place to connect with customers and sell handmade items. But now, it's just a bunch of misleading thieves.

Etsy Disappointing Experience with Etsy: Unfair Refund Policy and Poor Customer Service

I've been using Etsy for a good 3 years now and I must say, it's been a pretty smooth ride. The shops on the platform are quite generous with freebies and they always leave kind notes. Plus, the products are always accurately described. However, I recently had an odd experience that left me feeling quite disappointed.

You see, I took a risk and broke a rule that I never break - "don't buy items that cost less than your s&h". I've always had bad luck with this and that's just my opinion. I ordered a scented product and to my surprise, it smelled like p! Ss! Straight up. It was as if someone's pet had done something to it before it got shipped over. That bad. I wasn't going to say anything until I noticed just how strange the system is to refund it. It took almost a month of wheeling and dealing towards this. I had to argue my case because they allow shop owners to have a policy that basically disallows any refunds, returns or exchanges. I mean, unless what you're selling is edible or underwear. Even then, it's ridiculous.

I had to 'present my case' to Etsy and hope they "rule in my favor." Can anyone think of just one website that does this? It's not because of individual sellers. Ebay has that, poshmark has that. So why does Etsy favor shop owners? Why would this process be so difficult unless it wasn't for profit on behalf of Etsy? If purchased products are too difficult to refund, a customer is going to give up. The shop owner and Etsy share profit - the end. Yup!

As I wrote my review after receiving a refund, I expected an outrageous reply from the shop owner. And of course, that's exactly what I got. The owner used all caps, exclamations and the most high school tone I've ever seen. What I didn't expect was for the owner to spread lies. Everything from the fact that Etsy disagreed with me but I got a refund soo? To she filed the case and escalated it? Um. No again. To my friends and family have concentrated on her shop and we all ban together to leave her bad reviews... yup. Oh and one more thing, I verbally abused her staff... I wish there was proof of it. I reported it and it was ignored ofc. No guidelines were violated according to Etsy which has all the info in their system to prove that these are lies. To be able to accuse a customer of abuse is "within their policy."

If your review is less than 3 stars out of 5, Etsy will not allow you to respond to the reply. Most replies you see on reviews are pre-written apologies. On this shop owners reviews, you can see the owner constantly berating the customer in the reply to the reviews.

Why did I do this? It was not for money; it was sheer morbid curiosity for the rumours I've heard against Etsy. Is this really how their system works? Is there really this odd community of witches there who get away with quite a bit? It's all true folks.

I am quite an avid shopper. There isn't a single website I've ever been on that makes a customer do this when they are unsatisfied. Take your chances and be suspicious - If Etsy doesn't have your back, I encourage you to use social media and spread awareness of this nasty bs.

P.s. I don't want to mention what the shop is because I'm almost positive the witch will stalk this and complain, I can't be bothered! If you see an Etsy store preaching their ever-precious tumbled gemstones (some the size of miniature gravel) and handmade incense marked down to as little as $2-3 then you probably found the shop.

Oh, and good luck with tracking your item. Shop owners and Etsy have the right to apparently hide tracking information! I currently have to contact the post office to find out about $50+ worth of products purchased in Nov-Dec 2018. I'm obviously going to avoid going through Etsy to resolve this, just go to your bank for corrupt, desperate businesses like this.

I am sorry this is so long but these business practices are bizarre and I don't understand how it's even legal.

Etsy Permanent suspension no email, no explanation

I have had my shop, Velvet Sensations for many years, and recently joined Etsy again. Things move really slow in my shop, I’ve even did marketing through Etsy and the few sales barely covered the marketing costs. I started making candles to give more options to my buyers and I found myself enjoying making candle wax embeds more than the actual candle.

So, my second shop Real Embedded was created. I just opened a month ago and sales were coming in nice and steady. I signed up for Marketing and I had sales that kept me pretty busy. Well just last night I get a sale and within 2 minutes I see my shop is Permanently Suspended. Shocked and confused, I’m signing in on my laptop, checking my email like crazy, I never received an email, NOTHING. So I went to my Facebook candle group and posted what just happened, and a fellow Etsy expert said it’s probably because I had a few of my wax embeds on my Velvet Sensations shop AND in Real Embedded. So I had some products the same in both shops. There was a few original listings of my wax embeds (that I made with my own hands) still left on my Velvet Sensations shop, and I completely forgot about those listings.

I opened Real Embedded because the wax embeds had nothing to do with my skincare shop, Velvet Sensations, and wanted to keep them separated. So I already removed those original listings on Velvet Sensations and took care of the potential issue. I own both shops, I create everything in my kitchen, photograph ALL things, ship out all orders. I am a 1 person shop runner. I was UNJUSTLY deleted, still nothing from Etsy, I can’t get into my Real Embedded, already filled an appeal and I can’t find a way to contact Etsy at all and it’s so maddening and highly depressing, I just started making little wax art and finally doing something great and Etsy slams the door in my face without a single word, and I’m suppose to sit here in silence for up to 2 weeks waiting on an appeal answer? Etsy is throwing us small shop creators to the dirt like they are some high powered King. Something has to be done

Desired outcome: I just want my shop reinstated. I have 2 open orders right now and I’m losing money and recognition.
