Mixed Reviews Reflecting Customer Experiences at Entertainment Earth Inc
As a potential customer interested in collectibles and action figures, exploring Entertainment Earth Inc. may offer a mix of experiences. While some customers have praised the customer service for resolving issues promptly and professionally, others have expressed concerns about delayed shipments, damaged items, and communication gaps. It's essential to approach your purchase with caution, ensuring clarity on shipping details and product conditions. Great Customer Service!
I purchased an item that my son really wanted and he counted down the days till it arrived. The package arrived today and upon opening it my son was very upset due to the figure being broken off of the base. I called customer service when they opened and luckily Donald picked up the phone call to assist me. Donald not only took the time to listen to what I had to say in regards to the product arriving broken, but also listened as I explained how my son felt in finding his long awaited item broken. My son can not wait for his new item to arrive and I am sure it will be in great condition. This was my first time purchasing an item from this company but after speaking with Donald it will not be my last.
Another Perfect Purchase
Entertainment Earth and their team have outdone themselves once again. Just got my Walrus and the Carpenter Funko Pop in MINT condition, this is one of the Funkos I wanted the most. I went to the site pre-ordered them. And they were here in an extremely fast amount of time and came in immaculate condition. I do 99% of my shopping needs on this website, have ordered many things and never had a problem. As far as I'm concerned best team and business hands down I highly recommend only ordering from them whenever possible always 100%. Keep up the great work always appreciated. I have left a couple pictures for future purchasers of stuff that I've ordered from them and they are in perfect condition... and that's not everything! THANK YOU ENTERTAINMENT EARTH!

Entertainment Earth is well named
Entertainment Earth is well named - its products are all entertainment-related, and it's the size of the Earth, or at least it seems so. It's a huge collection of toys, models, action figures, clothing, and all manner of spin-off merchandise from sci-fi and fantasy movies, television, manga, anime, sports, pop culture, and more. Geek collectors, both male and female, will find something tempting here, for sure. I know I did. Several somethings. The range spans almost every imaginable theme, from Lego to Lost to Lady Gaga. An adult kid's dream toy store and more, it's great fun. And if you have no money, you can always window shop and see if you can find the weirdest or most pointless merchandising. I spent more than 200 imaginary dollars on one page alone. Yep, I am well into my third or fourth childhood and loving it.
The site does not represent a choking hazard to children under the age of 3, so your toddlers can enjoy it in safety too.
Outstanding selection of goods at great prices matched with superb customer service
This company has a wonderful and huge selection of goods. Everything from Star wars and Jurassic Park to X-men and Doctor Who. Movies, tv shows, everything cult related you can find, this business will have it.
Their graphic novel selection is not as huge as I would have liked but that's fine as they have more than enough in other categories to keep your business stocked with great collectibles and toys.
Entertainment Earth have a team that value their customers and business. For anyone new to Entertainment Earth, the team will answer any and all questions that you have regarding their business. They are quick to reply to emails but also welcome calls. Upon having my account accepted so i could do business with this company, i received a call from one of their staff, Jerry. He informed me over the phone that I had been accepted to do business with this company. He was very helpful and friendly.
Upon my first purchase with this company, it ran into trouble with customs in Hawaii but that was not because of Entertainment Earth, As a matter of fact, they were active in assisting me with making sure that the goods arrived in my country and were supportive the entire way. Jerry even followed up via email to make sure there were no further issues.
I would definitely say with all confidence this is a spectacular company to do business with.
Entertainment Earth's Customer Service Goes Above and Beyond for SDCC Exclusive Sticker Issue
Me and my boy went to SDCC 2019 and we got 2 of the SDCC 2019 10" Charmander shared exclusives from Entertainment Earth's booth. We got them on the last day of the con, with less than a half hour left before close. The booth was crazy busy and the employees were probably itching to get out of there. When we asked for 2, the employee gave us a sealed case. Later on, after the convention was over, we opened the package and found out that our items didn't have the SDCC exclusive sticker on them, only the Target exclusive sticker. It was a real bummer! I saw the employees putting stickers on the items as they sold, but I didn't think twice about ours not having one.
I decided to email EE about the issue and we went back and forth for a few months. Finally, a gentleman called me and told me that EE managed to get some additional stickers from Funko to send to us. I don't think they've been mailed yet, but I'm just happy that they tried to resolve my issue. It's not a big deal, but it's nice to know that they care about their customers. The fact that they worked so hard to resolve such a small issue speaks volumes about the kind of people they have working for them.
I hope the stickers arrive soon, but even if they don't, I'm still grateful for the phone call from a real person. It's so much better than just another email. Thank you Entertainment Earth for being awesome! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next.
Exceptional Customer Service from Entertainment Earth's Donald Tapia
I've been a customer of Entertainment Earth for quite some time now, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with their customer service. I recently called to place an order for my husband, who is a huge Star Wars and Transformers fan, and I was lucky enough to get Donald on the line. Despite my last order being several months ago, Donald remembered me and my husband's interests right off the bat. He was so nice, caring, and energetic, even though he was sick with a cold. I could hear him sniffling and coughing occasionally, but he soldiered on and answered all my questions with ease.
During our conversation, I asked about the Regan Library Fire, and Donald was more informative than CNN, ABC, and Fox News combined. He even applied my $15 off promo that I had just received in the mail. But what really blew me away was when he gave me his extension and told me that I could call him personally if I ever needed to make any future orders or had any questions. I've never been told that by any customer service agent before, and it really made me feel valued as a customer.
In this day and age, it's rare to find such personalized and attentive customer service. Whenever I call for customer service at other places, it's a crapshoot who I get, and most of the time, they don't know anything about me or my previous orders. But with Entertainment Earth and Donald, I know that I'll always get the personal touch. After reading other reviews of Donald Tapia online, I realized that this is just who he is - he treats all of his customers with the same level of care and attention.
So if you're looking to order collectibles, I highly recommend Entertainment Earth. Not only do they have a great selection, but their customer service is top-notch. And if you're lucky enough to get Donald on the line, you'll know that you're in good hands. Donald, if you're reading this, thank you for your exceptional service. The Force is definitely with you!
Entertainment Earth Review: Poor Business Practices and Delayed Orders Worth $3,000
I had high hopes for Entertainment Earth when I first stumbled upon their website. The customer experience seemed great, and I was excited to place my first order with them. I decided to go all out and put in an order for over $3,000 worth of products. I was confident in the company and had faith that I would receive my items in a timely manner. However, my experience quickly turned sour.
My estimated time of arrival was set for February 2022, but I kept receiving emails about delays month after month. I was frustrated and confused. When I reached out to my representative, they simply told me that my products were delayed and that I might not receive them until 2023. I couldn't believe it! It was only April, and I was being told that I might have to wait over a year to receive my order.
I complained to the manager, but they were incredibly rude and accused me of not doing my due diligence. They claimed that there are never guarantees with order delivery dates. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. What about their due diligence in getting products to their clients in a timely manner? The manager told me that they couldn't cancel my order because it was worth $3,000. They were only interested in the money and didn't care about the customer.
I was shocked and appalled by their poor business practices. The manager even admitted to me that they wouldn't let my order go because it was worth so much money. They bragged about getting big orders from major giants and claimed that my order was nothing in comparison. If they have such great business with other people, then why are they treating me so poorly?
I would never recommend doing business with Entertainment Earth. If you want to wait a year or more for your orders, then go ahead and give them a try. But if you want a better experience, then stay far away from this company. I learned my lesson the hard way, and I don't want anyone else to go through what I did.
Entertainment Earth Review: Deceptive Business Practices and Lack of Transparency
Entertainment Earth (EE) is a company that I recently had a bad experience with. I had purchased a large amount of merchandise from them and had it shipped to me via USPS. Unfortunately, many of the items were damaged or had manufacturers defects. When I contacted my sales rep, Gilad, he informed me that EE would not accept returns for these items because I had not opted for their expensive FedEx shipping package. This policy was not disclosed to me beforehand and I was left with no recourse. This is a very poor and deceptive business practice.
In addition to this, I noticed that EE was selling their wholesale items cheaper on their website than what they were selling them to their wholesale customers for. When I asked Gilad about this, he claimed that the items were on sale. However, this still raises the question of why EE is competing with their own wholesale customers by offering merchandise for less than wholesale prices to online customers. This is not a good business practice and shows a lack of transparency and honesty.
Due to these issues, I have decided to take my business elsewhere. I recommend that anyone considering doing business with EE should be aware of these practices and choose a company that is more transparent and honest in their dealings.
EE Review: Great for Collectibles, Shipping Can Be Slow
EE is a great place to order from, and I've been using them for almost 20 years. However, the shipping can be a bit of a problem. There always seems to be some sort of bottleneck that prevents items from arriving as quickly as I would like, even though I live relatively close to them. As a homebound retired vet, I can be a bit impatient, but I prefer EE to businesses that ship from the other side of the country. When they're on the ball, it's Amazon Prime fast or faster, but when they aren't, it's not.
In the last few years, the bottleneck was relying on Pitney Bowes as the middle-people. They could take a month at times to get an item from EE just to the PO. However, they seem to be using UPS now, which is the fastest in the business. Unfortunately, they now have extended processing times. If your order processes and clears before Friday, you're good. If not, you'll get a label printed before they leave the building on Friday. Things shut down for the weekend, and UPS takes this as expecting a package soon and will send you an estimate email of a day or two. That's not happening, and you'll be grumbling and frustrated when no movement of your item shows up in the tracking system until the following Tuesday. UPS won't see the package until late the following Monday at the earliest. So it adds a weekend and a few extra days on a delivery time that could have just been a few days.
Like I said, I'm impatient! However, you'll generally see items in a week or less, which is pretty good in the grander scheme of things. I always open my stuff, but every package is packed very securely, and the boxes are in really good shape. Customer service has always been helpful and courteous, and returns are very easy. EE is easily one of the top tier companies to use for action figure or other collectibles collectors.
PS-- I'm still waiting for some items I ordered because they finished processing last Friday, but to increase my credibility, I've included a picture of my dog. This review will probably get deleted now. I'm bored pressing F5 on my UPS tracking page, hoping to see acceptance of my items finally!
Entertainment Earth's Shipping Process Needs Improvement: A Customer Review
I recently placed a pre-order with Entertainment Earth and was excited to have snagged a great price with free USPS Supersaver shipping. However, when my order came into stock and was shipped, I was disappointed to find that it was sent out with FedEx Smartpost instead. While I understand that the company may have wanted to save a few dollars, the two shipping services are not the same and I was annoyed by the change.
My package was shipped on July 26th with a scheduled delivery of August 3rd, but it did not arrive on time and was marked with an alert by FedEx. When I reached out to FedEx directly, I was told to contact Entertainment Earth to address the issue since it was a Smartpost shipment and the local post office was the listed receiver for the package. I spoke with Erickson in Entertainment Earth's customer service department and was informed that the package was still within its 10 business day delivery window. If there was still an alert on August 9th, I was told to reach out again and they would then look into it.
As a customer, I was disappointed by the company's decision to unilaterally change the advertised shipping method and their refusal to act on issues that were brought to their attention due to that shipping method. It is the responsibility of e-commerce sellers to ensure that their packages are delivered to their customers in a timely and satisfactory manner, even if issues arise during the shipping process that are out of their control.
While I understand that Entertainment Earth may not have had direct control over the shipping process once the package was in the hands of FedEx and the local post office, it is still their responsibility to address any issues that arise within the stated delivery timeframe. As a customer, it is my responsibility to contact my bank and file an item not received dispute if the company is unable to deliver the item or address shipping issues in a timely fashion.
Overall, I was disappointed by my experience with Entertainment Earth and would caution other customers to be aware of potential shipping issues when placing orders with the company. While the prices may be good, the shipping process may not always be reliable.
Entertainment Earth Review: Shipping Policies and Quality of Merchandise Need Improvement
I was just about to make a purchase from Entertainment Earth, but after reading some of the reviews, I decided to hold off. It seems like there are some issues with their shipping policies that need to be addressed. Many customers have complained about being charged outrageous shipping fees without their consent, and then not receiving their merchandise in a timely manner. This is not the kind of behavior that inspires trust in a company.
I understand that businesses need to make a profit, but there are ethical ways to do so. Amazon, for example, has built a reputation for being prompt and reliable, and they have done so by treating their customers with respect. If Entertainment Earth wants to be successful in the long term, they need to learn from companies like Amazon and adopt similar moral principles.
It's not just the shipping policies that are causing problems for Entertainment Earth. Many customers have also complained about the quality of their merchandise. Items arrive broken or damaged, and then customers have to jump through hoops to return them. And to add insult to injury, Entertainment Earth charges a 15% return fee for their own packing errors. This is simply unacceptable.
I really want to like Entertainment Earth. They have a great selection of products, and I would love to be able to shop there with confidence. But until they address these issues and start treating their customers with the respect they deserve, I will have to take my business elsewhere. I hope that they will take these criticisms to heart and make the necessary changes. It won't be easy, but it's the right thing to do.
Entertainment Earth: A Company Plagued with Deception, Incompetence, and Hidden Fees
Entertainment Earth is a company that has been plagued with issues since its inception. From delays to deception, incompetence to hypocrisy, and hidden fees to lawsuits, it's clear that this is not a business that values its customers.
The founders of Entertainment Earth, Aaron and Jason Labowitz, are often referred to as the "Labowitz Losers" due to their lack of business experience and mismanagement of the company. In fact, Aaron Labowitz has admitted that the company was founded out of selfishness, with the goal of finding a way to buy new action figures and toys at reasonable prices without wasting time.
Unfortunately, this selfishness and incompetence has carried over into the way the company is run. There is a personal and off-putting tone to doing business with Entertainment Earth, with emotions, personal interests, and employee incentives all playing a role. It's clear that the company has no idea what it means to be professional.
The staff at Entertainment Earth is also incompetent, with no accountability or appropriate supervision. This is likely due to the fact that their bosses are also incompetent. The company is run by self-proclaimed selfish people who only care about their own personal interests. Customers are merely stepping stones for their own selfish needs.
If you pre-order from Entertainment Earth, don't expect to get the first batch. The owners are collectors too, and they need their toys first. Other retailers will likely get items in stock long before Entertainment Earth.
The company's business practices are also deceptive. They leech off the backs of mom and pop retailers, treating them like garbage while claiming to appreciate their customers. They have even sued former clients who were victims of the pandemic in an attempt to collect hidden fees buried within their contractual agreements.
It's clear that this is not a business that values its customers or cares about its reputation. In fact, there is a website dedicated to exposing their corruption. If you want to avoid being sued, it's best to avoid doing business with Entertainment Earth altogether.
In conclusion, Entertainment Earth is a company that sucks so bad that it's not worth doing business with. The owners don't care about their customers, and neither does anyone else at the company. If you want to avoid disappointment and frustration, it's best to take your business elsewhere.
Nightmare Company: Unreliable, Bait-and-Switch, and Terrible Customer Service
This company is a complete nightmare to deal with. I don't even know where to begin.
They are extremely unreliable. It's a gamble whether you'll receive your order or not, no matter what you order or when you order it. They love to bait and switch. Items will show as in stock, but then suddenly become delayed for months after you order. They try to play it off as "it's just how the industry works," but it's just an excuse for their carelessness.
After you order, you never hear from them. They won't answer the phone or respond to emails. When items finally come in stock, they like to divide small orders into multiple shipments to charge additional fees. I've had orders as small as eight units shipped in two shipments, days or even hours apart. They won't answer questions about why this happens.
Sometimes, when an item presells out and becomes "hot" before delivery, they'll secretly try to charge you a higher price than what was agreed to. You really have to watch them. When they offered a $100 discount for their 20th anniversary, they made every effort to cheat me out of it. They also won't tell you what size a real case is, which makes the partial shipment problem worse. They also won't estimate shipping charges on large items, referring you to FedEx, making those a very risky gamble. This is especially true of Titan Class TransFormers (bases), which go on sale for 40% off with free shipping before winding up 70% off at Ollies.
They have a system where one declined charge silently dumps all outstanding orders onto a single card on file. The same system also garbles your information if you sign up with a similar name and address to buy toys they're undercutting you on from their retail operations.
When they drag their feet so that six months of preorders "somehow" show up the very same day (always always always a weekend when you're out of town for a show), they make one huge charge to save the 29c fixed portion on the individual orders. At that point, half a dozen of those same unreachable representatives descend upon you with "urgent" spam that within hours turns threatening. They got me for $400 in fees on one such incident while I was in Ohio at a funeral for my uncle because they wouldn't make two separate charges on two separate cards as the original order was placed.
The last order I made was Force Friday one year. Three different agents called or emailed me with four or five different stories of what was to be offered, absolutely none of them right. I had to go to a toy forum to find out what was really coming. Shortly after that, they shorted me on several preorders, even though I miraculously managed to pay out nearly $2000 over a weekend for surprise appearances. I had finally had enough, so I revoked my cards, closed my account, and informed my bank to block any future charges.
Or so I thought. For five months afterward, they kept making charges for products they never delivered. Some of those products, they pulled the same tricks on, trying to ship half a case one day and half a case the next. They knew they were unauthorized but kept slipping different amounts past the bank in order to evade the blocks. They would not respond to the bank's attempts to contact either. Then, one day, they locked out my account (or accounts, I never did figure out if my retail account was really a separate account)... but kept sending me catalog emails and sale advertisements for months afterward.
I don't recommend ordering from their retail side either. If they can throw somebody ordering thousands of dollars under the bus like this, I don't see how a customer ordering a little here and there could hope to expect reasonable treatment. Another issue is that their "mint condition guarantee" is anything but. It's full of weasel words to explain away why it's alright for them to send you a dinged box. Finally, they frequently oversell and their lack of communication means that you will be left high and dry when they get around to notifying you.
Entertainment Earth Review: Pros and Cons of Doing Business with Them
I've been doing business with Entertainment Earth for quite some time now and I must say, they have some areas that make them superior to some companies but they could also stand to improve in certain aspects, in my opinion from a business ownership point.
Firstly, let's talk about some complaints that shouldn't be on this page. Pre-order complaints, at least not on the wholesale side. This is "JUST THE TOY INDUSTRY". If you want to make money as a retailer, you either need geography (superlative location) or you need unique selection (meaning you need to pre-order). That's not an EE issue, it's an industry where tastes and fads change quickly. It's your responsibility as a retailer to gauge the broader market as well as your own market. Real simple, most of the time anything "in stock" in the toy business, the margins are very weak, 5-10% is about the best you can hope for after shipping and that's on a good day. Pre-orders, on the other hand, well sky's the limit but reasonably you can turn 30% (or more) on well-selected products even accounting for transportation, returns, etc.
Now, let's talk about their strengths. Entertainment Earth has an amazing selection and industry knowledge. Just about anything you could possibly want toy-wise, they have. They also have very deep industry knowledge. Whatever you want to specialize in, they have enough to make it worth your while. Their pricing tiers are also something to be noted. I've heard from multiple competitors (EE has pissed me off numerous times causing me to look), on pricing and tier-based discounts. The order quantity for top tier pricing (common in the toy business) is slightly lower than their competitors which makes a huge difference. You don't want to be stuck with products that outlive their demand curve. Selling 24-32 units of a toy is one thing, trying to sell 72 units (where most of their competitors set top tier) is much harder. Sure, some of those products will sell through but more variety breeds more sales.
Their major accounts staff is also worth mentioning. They've got 2 people that handle major accounts, Bianca and Chris. These guys are worth their weight in gold to EE, I have no idea if they are properly appreciated by senior management. Every time I've been pissed off so badly by other aspects (below) that I've considered taking my purchases elsewhere, the thought of losing their business-related intelligence gives me serious pause. They have deep industry knowledge that pays off. One of our top sellers in Christmas time (Toy business best time of year) was something Bianca practically broke my arm to order. It was the ugliest doll I thought I had ever seen and I didn't know the brand. It was on my shelf for exactly 3 days before we totally sold out. I could probably do an entire review of the quality and value I get from having a dedicated rep but you might not want to read all of it.
Now, let's talk about some cons. Shipping is a major issue. Oh boy! This is transparent as mud and as predictable as an earthquake. This area, structurally, needs a major improvement. I don't believe it's an employee problem or a division manager level problem - it's structural - which indicates an ownership problem. It is nearly impossible to tell when an order will be prepared and then shipped. Arranging shipping times is a complete exercise in managed chaos on exactly the point of their business that shouldn't be chaos. The lack of predictability on when an order will be consolidated and shipped causes huge negative business impacts. Sometimes an order will be prepared in 2 days before being shipped - sometimes it's 14 days. That's after the order is consolidated and "released" for shipping.
From my point of view (transparent as mud again) the issue is logistically managing both inbound and outbound orders from the same area. IF they get in a large shipment while your order is pending packing, your order goes to the side and ships later. However, there is no actual way to know that from the client side because you don't see inbound from Hasbro or Mattel. That's a problem they do not seem to have access to (or inclination for) surge labor support. That's pretty baffling to me as it's best practice on warehouse management, Home Depot's distro centers do it, Walmart, etc. I know because I've visited those warehouses they have some capacity to surge support relatively cheaply in order to ensure product flows on time.
Quick irony on shipping: For a totally different business, I needed to move 4 rail mount. 50 caliber fully automatic machine guns from San Diego to Virginia. At the same time, I had a $6,000 toy shipment. Even including all the ATF paperwork, disclosures, handling instructions... 4 machine guns were less expensive to ship, arrived faster, and were much easier to coordinate.
Lastly, let's talk about claims. Seriously foam padding. They cost. 20 -. 25 cents a piece, invest in 4 per shipment. There is always some level of damage from ratchet straps when they LTL wholesale ship. It's at the 4 points of contact for the tightest ratchet strap in shipping. Claims department is like any claims department they deny almost automatically regardless of damage and it's not well tracked. You have to stay on top of them and it's an ugly process. Considering I end up filling claims on less than 1/2 of 1% of each shipment, it's not huge money but it's money I shouldn't have to cover and the time invested in following up is the real value suck but I'm not just leaving that money on the table.
Entertainment Earth Complaints 20
Delays. Incompetence. Unknown Charges. Lack of customer appreciation
Delays.
Deception.
Incompetence.
Hypocrisy.
Hidden Fees.
Lawsuits.
Excessive Markups (exceeding MSRP).
These are a few words that sum up what you can expect when doing business with Entertainment Earth.
This is one of the most mismanaged and intractable online businesses that I've ever dealt with.
Entertainment Earth was founded by incompetents, Aaron and Jason Labowitz, two highly unqualified Star Wars collectors with no prior business experience.
They are often referred to as the "Labowitz Losers".
The following is an actual quote from the CEO and co-founder Aaron Labowitz.
"We admit to being selfish when we started this business. We wanted to find a simple way to buy all of the new action figures and toys at reasonable prices without wasting our time."
They still run their business just as it was founded, with equal parts incompetence and selfishness.
There is a very personal and off-putting tone about doing business with this company. There's emotions, personal interests, and employee incentives involved.
It's not professional. They don't even know the definition of the word professional.
It more closely resembles a circus than commerce.
Their staff is incompetent because their bosses are incompetent and there's no accountability or appropriate supervision.
It's a mismanaged company run by self-proclaimed selfish people who ultimately only care about their own personal interests.
Their customers are merely stepping stones for their own selfish needs.
They are collectors too and they need their toys first so if you pre-order from them don't expect to get the first batch.
You will see other retailers get items in stock long before Entertainment Earth.
Their business is deceptively designed to leech off the backs of mom and pop retailers who they treat like garbage which is contrary to their bogus claims of customer appreciation.
They have even sued former clients who's business was a victim of the pandemic in which numerous parties suffered in a selfish attempt to collect hidden fees buried within their contractual agreements.
If you don't want to get sued then don't do business with Entertainment Earth and certainly DO NOT enter into any contracts with these crooks.
This business sucks so bad that there is literally a website dedicated to exposing their corruption.
I'll never buy anything from any retailer who sources products or is affiliated in any way with this deceptive and ineffective "business".
Spare us the automated reply which is likely just Sam posing as Aaron. We all know that Aaron is far too busy playing with his Star Wars toys to personally respond to customer complaints.
If he actually gave a damn about the reputation and sustainability of his business then he would have returned my phone call.
The owners don't give a damn about their customers and neither does anyone else at Entertainment Earth.
Does Not Value Customers At All
Absolute nightmare is exactly how I would describe dealing with this company. I really don't know where to start.
They're extremely unreliable. No matter what you order or when you order, it's a crap shoot whether you'll receive it or not. They love to bait and switch. Items will show as in stock, until hours after you order, when they suddenly are delayed for a few more months. Now you're on the hook unless you want to pay their cancellation fee. Oh, they try to play this off as "it's just how the industry works" but that's just an excuse to handwave away their own carelessness.
After you've ordered, you never hear from them. They will not pick up the telephone or respond to e-mails. When items finally come in stock, they like to take small orders and divide them into multiple shipments to rake in additional fees. I've had orders as small as eight units shipped in two shipments, days or even hours apart. They will not answer questions about why this has happened.
Sometimes, when an item presells out and becomes "hot" before delivery, they'll secretly try to charge you a higher price than what was agreed to. You really have to watch them. This is especially true of Titan Class TransFormers (bases), which go on sale for 40% off with free shipping before winding up 70% off at Ollies.
They have this great system where one declined charge silently dumps all outstanding orders onto a single card on file. The same system also garbles your information if, God forbid, you sign up with a similar name and address to buy toys they're undercutting you on from their retail operations.
When they drag their feet such that six months of preorders "somehow" show up the very same day (always always always a weekend when you're out of town for a show), they make one huge charge to save the 29c fixed portion on the individual orders. Then, one day, they locked out my account (or accounts, I never did figure out if my retail account was really a separate account)... but kept sending me catalog e-mails and sale advertisements for months afterward.
I do not recommend ordering from their retail side either. For starters, if they can throw somebody ordering thousands of dollars under the bus like this, I don't see how a customer ordering a little here and there could hope to expect reasonable treatment. Another issue is that their "mint condition guarantee" is anything but. It's full of weasel words to explain away why it's alright for them to send you a dinged box. Finally, they frequently oversell and their lack of communication means that you will be left high and dry when they get around to notifying you.

Disappointing Experience with Entertainment Earth: Incorrect Order and Poor Customer Service
I recently made a purchase from Entertainment Earth for an Ahsoka Tano Rebel black figure. The price for the figure was $21, but with processing and shipping, the total came out to be closer to $40. I was excited to receive my order and was surprised to receive a confirmation that it had arrived, as the figure was back-ordered. However, upon opening the package, I was disappointed to find that they had sent me a Funko pop instead of the Ahsoka figure I had ordered.
I immediately emailed the customer service team at ***@entainment to report the mistake and was informed that they would reach out to me within 5 business days. Unfortunately, it has now been almost a month and I have not heard back from them. I tried calling their helpline at 8:50am, but was placed on hold for over 11 minutes before being instructed to leave a voicemail. I waited for a call back all day, but only received a call at 5:15pm, which I missed. When I tried to call back, I was placed on hold again for another 5 minutes before giving up.
I understand that the Covid situation may be causing delays, but not responding to an email for almost a month is unacceptable. I had several other pre-orders with Entertainment Earth, but after this frustrating experience, I decided to cancel all of them. I will not be ordering from them again in the future.
Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Entertainment Earth. While I appreciate the variety of products they offer, their customer service needs improvement. I hope they can address these issues and improve their service for future customers.
Poor Service and Shipping Practices from Entertainment Earth
I've been dealing with Entertainment Earth for a couple of years now and I have to say, I'm not too happy with their service. Recently, I ordered 10 small cases of figures and they shipped them all INDIVIDUALLY. Can you believe that? I mean, what kind of company does that? As a result, I ended up paying way more for shipping than I should have and to make matters worse, one of the cases arrived damaged. There was a hole in the case and the contents were damaged too. I was not happy about this at all.
So, I filed a claim with the company and guess what? I got the big run around. My "representative" was no help at all and the company as a whole was just as bad. The shipping department kept lying to me and saying that they didn't consolidate cases, even though I knew for a fact that they did. I mean, I had received numerous cases that were consolidated and shipped in a single larger box. It just didn't make sense to me.
I tried to get the company to take responsibility for their mistake, but they refused. They just kept giving me the same old "song and dance" and it was really frustrating. I mean, where is the customer service in all of this? It seems like they don't care about their customers at all. All they care about is keeping themselves happy and making money.
Overall, I'm really disappointed with Entertainment Earth. I don't think I'll be doing business with them again anytime soon. If you're thinking about ordering from them, I would definitely think twice. There are plenty of other companies out there that offer better service and care about their customers.
Entertainment Earth Review: False Promises and Disappointing Products
My first time ordering from Entertainment Earth was on June 18, 2016. I was excited to get my hands on a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive toy, so I ordered 72 units. The website said it would be shipped in July, but I received an email saying it would be delayed until August because they had sold out at SDCC. I was skeptical and thought it was a bunch of bull. I kept pestering them for a projected ship date, and they passed me through two additional salespeople. I even threatened to get my attorney involved.
I begged them to expedite the shipping so I could at least show the toys at the Salt Lake Comic Con on Labor Day Weekend. Unfortunately, the toys didn't make it in time for the SLCCC. I was so frustrated that I tried to cancel my order and close my account, but they said there would be a 15% restocking fee. I couldn't believe it! They hadn't even pulled the items yet!
Finally, the toys were shipped the day after the close of the SLCCC. They arrived today, on September 9, 2016. I was extremely disappointed with what I received. They sent me 72 left-over dregs from the SDCC, with torn boxes and high serial numbers. I didn't even care about the serial numbers! I felt like I wasted my money and time dealing with this company.
In my opinion, Entertainment Earth should be investigated by the United States Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC). They made false promises and didn't deliver what they advertised. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Mixed Experience with Entertainment Earth: Mint Guarantee Not Always Delivered
I gotta say, I've had a mixed experience with Entertainment Earth. I've placed a couple orders with them, and while their customer service has been pretty good, I've had some issues with the quality of the items I received.
Now, I'm no stickler for perfection, but when a company promises "mint guarantee", I expect my items to arrive in pretty darn good condition. Unfortunately, both times I've ordered from EE, my items arrived less than mint. And it wasn't because of shipping - the packaging was fine and the outside box wasn't damaged. It was just the pickers at the warehouse not doing their job properly.
I reached out to customer service both times, and they were quick to send me a prepaid label and find a replacement for me. So props to them for that. But it's frustrating that the warehouse seems to have trouble distinguishing between mint and "whatever". I mean, if you're gonna promise something, you gotta deliver on it, right?
I was hopeful that things would improve after my first experience, but unfortunately, I've received several more orders since then that were also damaged. And even the replacements were damaged! It's like the warehouse just doesn't get it. Ed said they'd look into it, but clearly nothing's changed.
All that said, I do appreciate the effort that Donald put in to take care of me. He went above and beyond to make things right, and I really do appreciate that. But at this point, I can't in good conscience recommend EE. If you're willing to take a chance on the quality of your items, go ahead and give them a shot. But if you're looking for a company that truly delivers on their promises, you might want to look elsewhere.
Entertainment Earth Review: Poor Customer Service, Outrageous Shipping Fees, and Cheaply Made Toys
So, I made an order from Entertainment Earth a while back for my son's birthday. I was excited to get him some Ghostbusters toys, and I thought it would be a great surprise for him. However, things didn't go as planned. When I received a message from the post office, I was informed that I had to pay $32 in VAT for receiving the package. I wasn't too surprised by this, so I paid the fee. But when I finally got the package, I was disappointed to find that only 2 out of the 7 items I ordered were sent. I was really upset, and the next day, I received another message from the post office, saying that I had to pay $32 again in VAT for receiving the next package. I was really frustrated at this point, so I paid the fee again and cancelled the rest of the order.
After that, I decided to write to Entertainment Earth to complain about why they didn't send all the items together. I mean, they should know that people outside the US get VAT bills per package, right? It just doesn't make sense to me that they would send the items separately when they could easily fit in one box. But when I spoke to them, they weren't very friendly or helpful. In fact, they were quite arrogant. I asked them for a $32 refund because they didn't let me know about the additional VAT fee, but they refused.
To make matters worse, the toys I received weren't as expected. They were made of cheap China plastic, and I expect them to break within a month. And to top it all off, I paid $75 in shipping fees. I have no idea how it could be that expensive, especially since the items didn't weigh much at all. All in all, I paid about $220 in total for a few really poorly made toys. I feel like I got fooled, and I definitely won't be ordering from Entertainment Earth again.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Entertainment Earth to anyone. The customer service was terrible, the shipping fees were outrageous, and the toys were cheaply made. If you're looking for high-quality toys, I suggest you look elsewhere.
Buyer Beware: My Disappointing Experience with Entertainment Earth's Joker Pop
Competition is everywhere in today's world, and it's essential to provide excellent service to stand out from the crowd. I recently ordered the newest Joker Funko Pop from Entertainment Earth's website. This particular Pop, the 1989 Batman Joker, has two different kinds of Jokers. I made sure to include in my note to them which specific Joker I needed because I already had the other one. I placed the order with my instructions and waited patiently for over a month for the item to arrive.
When the package finally arrived, I was excited to open it and see my new Joker Pop. However, to my dismay, it was the incorrect Joker Pop, the one I did not need. This was a significant problem for me because their mistake cost me more money. I had to go to a different website to purchase the correct Joker that I needed because EE and other sites were sold out. Unfortunately, it wound up being $50 more expensive because the value of that specific Pop increased by five times.
To add insult to injury, EE did not provide a refund on the shipping to send it back to them when I originally paid for the shipping for the original order to get to me. This was frustrating and disappointing, and it left me feeling like I had wasted my time and money.
In conclusion, I would not recommend purchasing any item from Entertainment Earth. There are many other websites that can get you the same items, get to you quicker, and treat you better. If you do decide to purchase with EE, buyer beware. Make sure to double-check your order and be prepared for potential mistakes that could cost you more money in the long run.
Entertainment Earth Review: Poor Service and Shipping Delays
I recently made a purchase from Entertainment Earth and I have to say, I am not impressed with their service. According to their website, it should take 4 to 12 business days for in-stock items to arrive, with 1 to 4 business days for processing and 3 to 8 business days for shipping. However, my order has been processing for several days now and has not yet been shipped.
I placed my order on Sunday, November 27th, and Entertainment Earth did not charge my card until Wednesday, November 30th. As of today, December 2nd at 3pm, my order is still listed as processing and has not been shipped. Unfortunately, EE does not work on weekends, so my order will not be shipped until Monday, December 5th at the earliest. Even then, it will take a week to move across the country.
While Entertainment Earth warns of "transit delays", it seems that any perceived delays are not due to transit at all. In fact, nothing is even in transit yet. The stated delays are solely due to Entertainment Earth and their inability to operate their business efficiently. This is not the first time I have heard of such issues with this company, as previous reviews can attest.
As a further warning, if you are considering placing an order with Entertainment Earth for the holidays, chances are it will not arrive in time. Given their previous history, I would suggest looking elsewhere to better assure an arrival.
Buyer Beware: Entertainment Earth's 'Mint Condition Box' Policy is a Joke
I recently preordered a Chucky Blacklight pop from Entertainment Earth, and unfortunately, it arrived damaged. I was disappointed to find that the damage was not due to shipping, as the shipping box was in perfect condition. This is actually the third pop I have received from them that was damaged, despite their "Mint Condition Box" policy. To be honest, that phrase means nothing to me anymore, it's just words to push a sale.
When I contacted their customer service, they offered me a return, which is fine, but then I would have to reorder it and pay a crazy shipping charge on top of that. To make matters worse, the item is now backordered until 2023, and probably even longer because Entertainment Earth always seems to get things 3 to 5 months after everyone else.
I also find their shipping charges to be way too high. They may say it's because shipping rates have gone up, but Entertainment Earth has always been outrageous on their shipping unless you spend a certain amount, I think it's $40 or $50. And even then, they don't give you premium shipping. Instead, they send you a smashed box.
As a small business, they will never get any bigger if they continue to do things like this. I would advise shopping elsewhere unless you absolutely have to buy from a company that doesn't care about your item. They just care about your money. Period.
If you choose to ignore my advice and your stuff comes beat up, don't say I didn't warn you. STAY AWAY FROM ENTERTAINMENT EARTH. I REPEAT, STAY AWAY.
It's crazy to think that they used to be awesome, but now the company has declined so fast. Oh well, I would rather see another company that cares get the money than a company like this.
EE Distribution Entertainment Earth Review: Terrible Service, Slow Shipping, and Unreliable Products
I recently had an experience with EE Distribution Entertainment Earth and it was not a pleasant one. I found their sales reps to be quite pushy, constantly emailing me about their "best sellers" and trying to get me to purchase items that were priced higher on their retail site than on their wholesale site. This made it difficult for me to compete with their retail prices.
One thing that really bothered me was that their exclusives always seemed to end up on clearance on other sites like Amazon and eBay. Additionally, they wouldn't allow me to take pre-orders until the item was in stock, which made it difficult to plan ahead. When their exclusives did finally go on sale, they were marked down significantly, which made it hard for me to sell them at a profit.
Another issue I had with EE Distribution Entertainment Earth was their shipping. I found it to be slow and unreliable, and I received damaged products almost every time I placed an order. What's worse is that there was no condition guarantee for wholesale customers, but retail customers were guaranteed mint condition products. It seemed like they were sending all the damaged products to their wholesale clients.
Finally, I found that EE Distribution Entertainment Earth took way more orders than they could handle, leaving me in limbo while they filled their retail orders. I couldn't cancel my orders without being charged fees, even if the orders were delayed or never showed up.
Overall, I would say that EE Distribution Entertainment Earth is one of the worst wholesale toy companies out there. Their service is terrible and they always seem to be playing games. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy wholesale toy supplier.
Disappointing Experience with Entertainment Earth: Masters of the Universe Classics Snake Mountain Pre-Order
Entertainment Earth is a company that I had high hopes for, but unfortunately, my personal experience with them has been very disappointing. As a 42-year-old disabled man, I was excited to pre-order the Masters of the Universe Classics Snake Mountain from them. This item was quite expensive, costing me around $600. However, the item was delayed due to production issues and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
I contacted Entertainment Earth multiple times to see if I could make payments on this item through my debit card or a money order. Unfortunately, the person I spoke to on the phone said that they were unable to take payments of any sort. However, they assured me that I would receive an email around the first of the month so I could pay for the item.
To my surprise, the item was released in early December, and I never received an email from Entertainment Earth. When I called them on December 15th to confirm and make sure that the item was still coming out in January, I found out that there was an early release on the item. The person I spoke to on the phone acted like they didn't care about my situation and said that it wasn't their responsibility.
I am very hurt and angry over this entire situation, and I highly recommend that fellow collectors take their business elsewhere. Entertainment Earth promises one thing to their customers, but they turn around and do the complete opposite of what they claim. I highly recommend shopping through BigBadToyStore, tfdirect, tfsource, Robo toy base, or the chosen Prime for all your collectors' needs.
In conclusion, my experience with Entertainment Earth has been a letdown. As a disabled man, I was hoping for a smooth transaction, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I hope that Entertainment Earth can improve their customer service and communication in the future.
ordered a "1 left item" and for no reason got a refund today?
Ordered an item on 12/08 and today 12/13 I get a refund with no explanation or reason why the product became unavailable after the payment was processed. Very unprofessional as common courtesy would have been to at least send an email explaining what happened? no contact from customer service and no alternative option given as this was a Christmas gift?
disappointed
I bought a stranger things hopper with donut pop! Vinyl figure #512.
Still haven't arrived. They promised an express shipping and delivery, but all of that was just words. Vry sad to realize this.
Called them to find out what happened they said everything was ok, just some issues with their system that's why the order wasn't shipped.
It wasn't even shipped!
This is appalling. They have let me down because this figure was ordered as a gift. Well, I guess I have to look for another one.

don't do business with them
If you prefer to get good quality items, you better choose another place for shopping.
I had a bad experience buying products from them. Most of the items were damaged, in a bad condition and in general, they looked like crap.
Nothing positive to say. Hard to describe this feeling of disappointment, when you order, then wait and finally get the box, open it and see... a piece of s*** instead :(
Don't buy from them, you will be frustrated that you spent your money for nothing.

Beyond ridiculous!!
Joined EntertainmentEarth and was contacted by their sales rep which offered me to buy some figures which were on a special sale for a very good price. Seemed like a great deal so I ordered one. Later they contacted me and said that figure was no more in stock. So I ordered another one and later the same thing happened.
That sales rep was very annoying and continued to disturb me with their non existent offers! I can't understand why do these people waste my precious time and offer me items which are not even in stock!
EntertainmentEarth stop wasting my time!

They delivered my order to old address
I have bought from the store www.entertainmentearth.com couple of years ago. 3 months ago I again decided to order from them, but I have changed my address. I told the rep about it and he told that there were no problems. Ok, I waited for the order, but nothing. I emailed the rep and he replied that it was delivered. I asked no, but he told the old address. I was shocked that the rep didn’t listen to the customers.
Seller failed to deliver my order to my address
My experience with the company www.entertainmentearth.com was really bad. I have ordered from them, but the seller failed to deliver the item to my current address. I don’t understand why it was so difficult, but the seller refuses to comment this situation. I told him that I wanted my money back but he refused to provide anything and promised to ship my order again, but I wasn’t sure that I wanted it. It is just information for consideration!
Great service
I have never received such quick and professional service from an order I have made online as I have with Entertainment Earth. I placed my order on 12/19/08, assuming that it would not be here by Christmas, and to my surprise, it arrived Christmas Eve to my doorstep. I was shocked, and elated all at the same time. I have ordered from Entertainment Earth twice and have been very pleased each time! Both of my packages arrived quickly and in wonderful condition. My boyfriend (who the figurines were for) couldn't be happier with the way they were shipped. Mint condition packaging is important to a collector, and Entertainment Earth made that happen with careful packaging and shipping. When shopping on Amazon, Entertainment Earth's prices always seem less than the competitor's pricing, so why would you go with anyone else. Regardless of price, I will always choose Entertainment Earth because a lifetime trust has been established! Thanks for such a great product!
