eDreams Refund

On 5/14/2022 - I booked a round trip ticket from LAX-VLC for 6/14/2022 to 7/30/2022

On the same day, I needed to change the return date.

I made modication thru eDreams website.

Got a call from eDreams agent that the new return date was not available

so the agent suggested me to cancel the trip.

I cancelled (on the same day 5/14/2022) and got a confirmation email that I will receive my refund.

And now, it's been for over a year and still have not received my refund.

I contacted eDrems (thru their apps) 8th times already.

Everytime they said they will get back to me with 48-72 hours but never happened.

The agent kept telling me that the airlines (Iberia) did not refund the money to eDreams yet.

So I called the airline myself and Iberia told me they could not disclose the info/reason to me since they only deal with eDreams.

This is so wrong...

eDreams Getting my refund

Case No. [protected]. Purchased an insured flight from Boston Ma to Rockland Me through eDreams. Attached is a copy of the monies eDreams admits owes me. EDreams refuses to refund my monies by my original method of payment, check, or using my credit union account number. They insist it has to be a wire transfer. My credit union does not do international transfers. I purchased tickets in the United States for travel within the United States. I should not be required to open a new bank account with a new bank just to get my refund.

eDreams Prime membership

Booked a ticket in February 2023 and cancelled the flight and received a refund. Then there was $70.00 charge ($475.95 in my currency) in March 2023 for a prime membership I did not sign up for as they now told me it is automatic the minute you enter any information on their site. Is this legal? I did not see this charge until April 9th when I received my credit card statement. I also did not know they had this membership to purchase an airline ticket. Not ONE of the other sites does this. I sent an email and they advised that they advised that the time has passed and they will not issue a refund. But I am within the refund period of 90 days. I have no intentions of purchasing from this site again and would like my refund as they did NOT have authorization to debit my credit card in the first place. How is this their right?

eDreams Edreams Review: Hidden Fees, Poor Customer Service, and Stressful Travel Experience

Edreams is not the best option if you want to have a smooth and stress-free trip. From the moment you start the reservation process until the invoicing, you may encounter several issues that can ruin your travel experience.

At first, the prices displayed on Edreams may seem cheaper than other websites. However, once you reach the end of the process, you may notice that the final price has increased significantly due to payment method expenses, service fees, insurance expenses, and other charges that they add without warning. It can be frustrating to feel like you were tricked into paying more than you expected.

If you decide to purchase an insurance to cover flight change costs, you may find out that it only covers Edreams services. While Edreams won't charge you anything to change your flight, you will still have to pay the cost charged by the airline, which can be quite high.

Edreams also offers an automatic online check-in service, which can be convenient if it works. However, in some cases, it may not work correctly, and you may end up having to go to the airport hours before your flight to ensure you get a seat.

Another issue that you may encounter with Edreams is related to invoicing. After downloading your invoices, you may notice a difference between the amount charged on your credit card and the total amount of the invoices. If you need an invoice for your company, you may have to go through a long and frustrating process of contacting Edreams support, the insurance company, and making international phone calls to get the correct invoice. eDreams Thrilling and Heartfelt: A Review of The Hunger Games Trilogy

I looked for round trip ticket (HANEDA-NAHA in Japan) on Google. This website was registered in Google Flight UI, and I bought the outbound and returning tickets from this website. First, I should have noticed this website is unreliable from the slowness of every response on the site. But I was a little bit in hurry so kept going.
Typed my credit card number and waited a minute before making the transaction (Alas, this is unbelievably slow). After all, it turns out only booking for my returning flight went successful. On their website showing my itinerary, it says the processing for the outbound ticket takes a few minutes (at most 24 hr).

So, I just waited. But an email from the flight company of my outbound trip came in my inbox. The email only says the booking is not yet unpaid. Hmm, I didn't understand what's the email for because nothing is instructed in eDream (I even hate calling this website). A few hours later, nothing happens. And I started wondering "should I make payment on the airline's website by myself?" I've never experienced this kind of process with any other booking website but it seems this is the only way. With the reservation code, I checked my reservation made by eDreams on the airline's website. I found my age information (it says I'm 30 but I'm 26) was wrong. The booking for returning trip was done with right information so this is most likely caused from the bug of eDream's system. Anyway, I cannot change the information after reservation. All I could do was cancel the reservation and make reservation again by myself on the airline's website.

While doing all of this, eDreams sent a email which says the trip was canceled for some reason and will refund but at the time of writing it is not refunded yet. However, on their itinerary site, the outbound trip remains and seems confirmed. It is very confusing. I tried to reach to their customer support but all they have is so-called crappy AI chat bot. After chatting with the souless program, it sent me to their old-looking web page to write a free form inquiry. The form allows only 250 characters. How could anyone write complicated troubles of flight reservation in 250 characters!?

Long story in short. Google should never pop this website on the top result. And people, don't use this website. There are a bunch of other better booking website. This is the worst.

eDreams Terrible Experience with eDreams: Unconfirmed Booking and Poor Customer Service

So, I had a pretty bad experience with eDreams. I needed to book a flight quickly after my original one was cancelled, so I turned to eDreams for help. It was my first time using their service, and I found a flight that would get me back in time for work the next day. I paid for it through their system and received an email confirmation.

However, two hours later, I noticed on the app that my booking was still pending. I called eDreams to inquire about the status of my booking, and after some difficulty communicating due to their phone system and the representative's strong accent, I was informed that my booking was not confirmed due to a company policy of not sending out confirmation until 24 hours after booking. The flight I had paid for was in just seven hours, and if I hadn't called, I wouldn't have known that I didn't have a seat on the flight.

I asked to speak to a manager to get an explanation and suggest that they not offer flights departing in less than 24 hours, but there was a one-hour queue to speak to one. I was frustrated that they allowed me to book and pay for a flight that wasn't even available, and they took no responsibility for their mistake.

Their customer service was beyond terrible, and I will never use their service again. I would advise others to avoid them as well. It's better to call the airline directly to check for available seats before giving any of your hard-earned money to these rogue companies.

I know they'll probably reply with a message asking me to contact them to resolve the issue, but I don't want to spend another hour on the phone waiting for them to pick up. They had plenty of chances to fix the issue when I called and asked to speak to a manager, but they didn't seem to care. I hope they go out of business soon.

eDreams eDreams Review: Terrible Customer Service and No Refund Policy in Place

I want to share my experience with eDreams, a travel agent that I recently used to book a flight. Unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one.

I had to book a flight in an emergency to attend a funeral abroad with my mother. We booked the ticket on 21/12/2021 and unfortunately, there was a sudden death in the family. We had to leave the country immediately.

Since then, my case has been ongoing and there have been no updates on my refund situation. I have only had one interaction with a human in an online chat yesterday (10/03/2022). They blamed the delay on the airline and said someone would get back to me.

However, I don't believe this to be true. I had to bombard them with messages on several sections of my browser just to get one agent named Mr Chonthunglo Ngullie. They didn't rebook or reschedule my flight for the next day or the following day. They said the flight was full for the whole month, which turned out to be a lie. I was able to contact the airline check-in staff and the duty manager who confirmed there were seats available.

I was at the airport literally begging on the phone with them, but they refused to help. I had to buy a new pair of tickets with Opodo the next day and fly to attend the funeral of my family member. They promised a full refund via insurance or half by themselves, but nothing has materialized. It's all just a waste of time.

eDreams seems to be only money-minded and not really humane. There are no after-sale services, no real refund policy in place, and they don't answer phone calls or reply to emails. They just blame everything on the pandemic.

I was very upset and frustrated on top of the loss of my family member. My elderly mother who was with me was almost fainting. I felt like almost a dead man myself.

This experience has pushed me into financial difficulties, and my mother was very much affected by their treatment. All I need is a refund of GBP 2,192.72, which I have an invoice for.

I hope eDreams can resolve this issue promptly and provide me with the refund I am owed. As recommended by Trading Standards, I would like to keep a complete record of my case.

eDreams Edreams Review: Terrible Customer Service and Pre-Paid Baggage Not Honored

I gotta say, I really regret using Edreams to book my flight. I mean, I should have known better than to trust a company without checking their online ratings and reviews first. But I was in a hurry and didn't think it would be that bad. Boy, was I wrong.

So, I booked a flight from one Asian city to another, and I made sure to add checked-in baggage to my booking because I knew I would need it. I even paid for it in advance. But when I received my email confirmation from Edreams, there was no checked bag included in my flight. I was so confused and frustrated because the confirmation page clearly stated that I had one checked bag included. I immediately contacted their customer care, but I didn't get a response for over a month. I mean, seriously? That's just unacceptable.

When someone finally got back to me, they basically said they couldn't do anything to help me. I was so angry and disappointed. And to make matters worse, when I tried to board my flight, the airline told me that I had to pay again for checked baggage because Edreams is just a third-party agency. I mean, what kind of nonsense is that? I had already paid for it!

And that's not even the worst part. Edreams asks for way too much personal information when you're booking a flight. I mean, all they really need is your full legal name and nationality. But no, they want everything from your address to your phone number to your email. And to top it off, they forward your personal information to third parties without your consent. That's just not cool.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Edreams to anyone. They have terrible customer service, they don't honor pre-paid baggage, and they don't have any system in place to compensate you if something goes wrong. And I'm not the only one who's had a bad experience with them. Just check out any reputable review site and you'll see tons of negative reviews. So, do yourself a favor and avoid Edreams at all costs.

eDreams eDreams: Terrible Customer Service and Refund Policy - Avoid at All Costs

I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with eDreams. I booked a ticket to Jordan from Riyadh back in May 2019 (booking reference ***109). Unfortunately, Jordan Air changed their flight schedule, so I had to cancel my ticket. I was told by eDreams that I would receive a full refund since it was Jordan Air's mistake.

However, after waiting for three months, I still hadn't received my refund. In fact, my booking number had been removed from the system altogether. I gave eDreams a call, and after waiting on hold for 10-15 minutes, I was told that they still hadn't received the refund from Jordan Air. They told me to wait another 72 hours and gave me an email address to contact them.

I sent several emails, but never received a response. When I called again, I was told to wait another 72 hours. This happened multiple times, and each time I called, I had to wait on hold for a long time. It was frustrating and expensive, especially since I was calling from overseas.

To make matters worse, when I finally got through to someone who promised to change my refund account from credit card to bank account, it turned out that they hadn't actually done it. I was so angry that I scolded the operator.

I've been calling eDreams regularly since then, but I still haven't received my refund. They don't seem to care about their customers at all. They don't even apologize for the inconvenience or honor their three-month refund policy. It's like they don't have any heart.

If you're thinking about booking with eDreams, I would advise against it. They won't refund your money if you need to cancel or change your flight. Don't bother sending them emails or complaints because they won't respond. They're rude and treat their customers poorly. It's just a plain system taking orders and giving tickets. Only book with eDreams if you have no other options. I'm going to post my experience on TripAdvisor so that others can avoid the same frustration.

eDreams eDreams: A Nightmare of Cancelled Flights, Unwanted Charges, and No Customer Service

I had a really bad experience with eDreams when I bought an air ticket from them. I received the ticket in my email on the same day, but the next day they wrote to me saying that my flight had been cancelled and offered me another one for a date and time that didn't suit me. I wrote them several emails refusing the replacement flight and asking for a refund, since I had already bought a ticket from another company for the date that suited me. It's been two months now, and I haven't received any response from them. To make matters worse, a month after buying the ticket, they charged money from my bank card for services that I had not asked for. They call it Prime, and I had to block my card to avoid further charges.

I tried to contact eDreams through the email addresses from which they send their daily advertisements, but they never responded. I couldn't find any contact information on their website either. I even tried to remove the Prime subscription, but it didn't work, even though I have some experience with computers and modern software.

I looked through many other reviews and found a large number of similar cases in Russian, English, German, Spanish, and French. It seems impossible to fight against such arbitrariness of crooks in "democratic" Europe. There is nowhere to write complaints, and it's an obvious example of corruption that no one pays attention to.

However, I found a possible remedy. I decided to bombard the airlines whose flights are sold by eDreams with emails and demand compensation from them. I found their contact details on their websites, and at least they replied to my emails. In my letters, I indicated that airlines that care about their reputation should not allow eDreams to sell air tickets on their flights. If they receive dozens of such letters a day, maybe they'll take some action.

Another useful thing is to inform your banks and write them complaints about the collection of money from your account for services not provided to you, with supporting documents. At the very least, your bank will inform eDreams' bank that their client is a fraud. I did it, and I'm waiting for the final result. I'll let everyone know what happens.

eDreams eDreams Review: A Nightmare Experience with Terrible Customer Service and Refund Policy

Let me tell you, eDreams is a complete nightmare! I made the mistake of booking with them and it has been nothing but a headache. I spent a whopping ?7,000 for 10 people and you would think that would come with good customer service, but boy was I wrong.

On December 23rd, 2018, I received an email stating that my outbound flight to London had changed by 25 minutes, causing a major issue for me as I had a domestic flight to Delhi that landed at 11:30 am, leaving me with only an hour to catch my next flight. I reached out to eDreams for some options and they gave me some, but after reviewing them, I told them that I had 3 references for 10 people and needed to move the domestic flight to a Friday, leaving the outbound flight as it was. They assured me that they could make this change and would contact me within 48-72 hours. But guess what? I never received a call back!

I spent countless days and nights on hold, constantly being disconnected and having to repeat myself to rude customer service representatives. I spoke to so many people - Arzoo, Gauruv, Karram, Visoch, Sandeep, Laite, and many more. On January 14th, I called again from 3 different phones because I was so fed up with being on hold and disconnected. Finally, after 2 hours, I managed to speak to Karram who told me that there were no available flights on the Friday. It took them 23 days to tell me this! What have they been doing since December 23rd? Absolutely nothing but lying, taking my money, and wasting my time.

I decided to cancel the flights because it had come to a point where I was speaking to people who couldn't even make a simple change. They were quick to take my payment within seconds, but refused to pay me my full money back. This was not my fault! An airline changed their schedule, so eDreams' policy is that if an airline changes their flight, the customer is refunded the full balance. But that's a lie because they said they could only refund me ?6,000, even though I paid ?7,000. They took ?1,000 as an admin and service charge, but what admin and service did they provide? To this day, I haven't even been provided with any customer service, but yet they took my money!

Now, I need to rebook the flights for 10 people and it will take 3 months for me to get my money back. Even then, I will have to fight for it because I don't think they will pay me. They can't even make a simple change, so what makes me believe and trust that they will refund my money that they stole? My advice to you is to stay far away from eDreams. They are liars, time wasters, and will steal your money without providing any real service.

eDreams My Disappointing Experience with Edreams.com: Paid for Luggage, Didn't Receive It, and No Refund Offered

I recently had an experience with edreams.com that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. As a business owner, I believe in giving companies the chance to rectify their mistakes, but I also believe in being honest in my reviews and sharing the full picture of my experience.

I purchased a return ticket through edreams.com and paid extra for luggage both ways. The cost was 79 Euros for baggage traveling out and 49 Euros for baggage traveling home. When I received my order confirmation, the price was correct and matched the amount charged to my credit card. The destinations and travel times on the tickets were also correct, so I felt good about my purchase. I even received my ticket from each airline.

However, the night before my travels, I took a closer look at my tickets and realized that my luggage for my trip away was not registered on my ticket. I checked my order confirmation and was surprised to see that only the luggage for my home travels was registered. I tried calling edreams.com, but their phones were closed on Saturdays and Sundays. I also tried calling the airline, but couldn't get through. I wrote an email to both edreams.com and the airline.

In the end, I decided not to take my suitcase and used hand luggage only. A few hours after landing at my destination, I received a response from the airline acknowledging that luggage was ordered and paid for. While this was great news, it didn't help me since I had already landed without my luggage.

It took three days for edreams.com to respond to my email, and even then, they didn't offer a solution. I had to write back and request a refund since they didn't deliver what I had purchased. A few days later, they responded, asking for documentation that I had paid for baggage at the airport. I informed them that I didn't purchase baggage at the airport since I decided to use only hand luggage. I sent them a copy of my order confirmation and ticket, which clearly showed that they hadn't registered my extra baggage, but I paid for it anyway.

Four days later, I received a response from edreams.com, stating that the baggage was purchased and registered with the airline and on my order confirmation. They refused to issue a refund, even though I had sent them proof that they hadn't registered my extra baggage.

I tried to be polite and patient, but it seems that a chargeback is in order. If you choose to purchase your ticket through edreams.com, I suggest double-checking your order confirmation and tickets to avoid any issues. While I travel frequently, I won't be putting my trust or money in edreams.com again unless they prove that they are serious and trustworthy, which they haven't done yet.

eDreams eDreams Review: Left Stranded and Out of Pocket - Don't Use Them for Passport Travel

Edreams really let us down. We booked a trip to South Korea from Tokyo, but couldn't use the flights we booked through eDreams. We had to book new flights at the ticket gate, paying out of pocket, because eDreams customer service could not (in one instance, would not) help us.

Here's what happened. When we arrived for our flight, the airline wouldn't accept the booking because our names on the booking were not in the same order as on our passports. The booking program listed our first (given) names first, whereas passports list last (family) names first. When using the eDreams booking program, we entered names correctly in the first name and last name fields, but the program reversed them. The booking also listed our first names twice, so it read: First name, Last name, First name again. (Passports read: Last Name, First Name, Middle Name.) I think this occurred because there was no place in their form to enter middle names, and so it produced the first name twice. We foolishly didn't realize this was a problem until we tried to board the flight. Anyway, the airline wouldn't accept the tickets, and insisted the booking be fixed. So, now with 80 minutes left to go before our flight (we got there two hours early), we called eDreams. But by the time we reached eDreams after being on hold for 20 minutes, we missed the one-hour window and eDreams said (well, their contracted agent in India said) there was nothing they could do, and abruptly hung up on us, leaving us to solve the problem on our own. (We were polite on the phone; we know better than to berate the one person who can help you.) So, we purchased a new set of tickets there on the spot.

Because our return leg two days later was originally booked on a different airline, we thought we could fix the naming problem on that booking in time. But no. Even though we called eDreams a day in advance (again reaching a call center in India), they said there was nothing they could do, and told us to contact the airline. However, the cut-rate airline eDeams found and booked us on, would not pick up their phone after business hours (our trip was over the weekend). We called eDreams back, and they said there was nothing they could do because the airline didn't staff their phones after business hours. So, again, we bought a new set of tickets (this time with a different airline). EDreams promised to send us a refund form for the $1100 (USD) their mistake cost us. They then denied the refund. We are now asking our credit card company to handle the dispute.

We will never use eDreams again, and we advise you not to either, especially if you must travel with a passport. Their prices are cheap, yes, but our experience illustrates the old adage that you get what you pay for. It's a shame that eDreams couldn't help us when we needed it the most. We were left stranded and had to pay out of pocket for new flights. It was a frustrating and stressful experience, and we wouldn't wish it on anyone. We hope that eDreams can improve their customer service and booking system so that others don't have to go through what we did.

eDreams No bill for a charge that I do not undestand

You have charged my Eurocard with an amount of 54,99 Euro., which I dio not understand The debit occurred on 2023-06-15. I have not used your service for a long time. eDreams Flight

Hello,

My flight to Milan was booked for 17.25 today, we received a text from you at 11am today to advise it was moved to 1pm today. Then at 14.55 we were advised the flight was now 14.40 today. With such short notice I could not make this flight, and have now purchased very expensive flights as I need to get to Milan today.

I spoke to your agent to be told this is now a contract between me and Ryanair, nothing to do with eDreams. Furious is the understatement, I bought the flight through you and you did not advise me in time, my booking account still showed flight at 17.45 today my booking reference does not work within Ryanair therefore they won’t liase with me. eDreams airplane tickets

I purchase three tickets from eDreams together with insurance. I had to cancel my tickets, and as per the insurance policy, I was supposed to receive 80 percent of what I paid back.

I canceled the tickets in March; it is June, and I still haven't received my refund. According to eDreams, the airline is the one supposed to issue the refund. According to the airline (Norse Atlantic), dreams is supposed to refund me. I am tired of calling, being put on hold, and receiving mixed messages.

Edreams is a fraudulent company that doesn't honor its insurance.

I am now looking into filing a civil suit.

eDreams Fraudulent practices and total lack of customer support

I booked a flight with return trip from Barcelona to Pula. Although I had received a confirmation email for the flight I found one month later that the return flight had neither been confirmed nor canceled. When I got in contact with Edreams I was told that the reservation could not be fulfilled because there was no space available on the flight. To my surprise the flight I originally wanted to book was still available on the website, it had just gone up to more of double the price. Edreams told me to buy the same flight again at the new price, paying for the difference while waiting for the refund of the original flight.

I was truly shocked by the indifference and the lack of solution of what Edreams calls customer support. Some days afterwards the very same thing happened with two flights I booked. One flight went through the other one was cancelled but still available on the website. It looks like a very strange business practice, combining partial cancelations with a complete lack of refunds or solutions.

Desired outcome: Original flight at original price
