I hire this company to replace my roof in Sep 27, 2020 with 10 years warranty. The used 3-tab shingles which is supposed remain in place when wind speed is 60 mph when the shingles have the proper 4 nail per shingle. But 1/4 of the shingles BLOWN away within 6 MONTHS (Mar 25, 2021) when wind speed is less than 35 mph and WATER leaking in celling. I talked to the owner but he refused to acknowledge and declined to send someone the repair the damage. I again hire another roofing company to repair/fix those missing shingles and paid additional 700$ for this job in March . In July 20 I noticed a huge water damage in my closet which has happed last week. The ceiling come off and all cloths get wet. My insurance company inspected the roof and told me this company did very lousy job, the whole roof need to be replaced, which means in 10 months I need to replace the whole roof. I am frustrated and I regret trusting on this company.

I became aware of John Cho and his company “Economic Construction" while riding my bike in my neighborhood as his team was replacing shingles on a nearby home. He happened to be up on the roof himself at the time, and was kind enough to come down to chat with me about replacing shingles on my own house. A couple of hours later, he came by and did a thorough inspection of my roof issues, along with measurement of the roof. He also made me aware of key problems related to my chimney that also needed to be fixed. Within 24 hours, an estimate of all costs, including the potential cost of replacing any bad supporting plywood sheets. We had to delay a bit to arrange financing, and John was very accommodating with this. My initial impression when John came by to inspect our roof was that he was an honest person . . . and also (most importantly) a person with integrity—the kind of person we all like to do business with. That impression was confirmed when the work was done. His knowledge in this area of construction issues is immediately evident. The pricing estimate was very reasonable. This company clearly has a commitment to quality work. We were very pleased with the end result, and it was made affordable for our limited budget. His team were all hard workers, and friendly, as well. The final cleanup was very professional and thorough. I am delighted to recommend John and his team without hesitation.

I don't give out reviews, bad or good, lightly because I know the impact they can have on a business but it is without hesitation that I feel I must take the time to give an excellent review of Economic Construction LLC. John C and his crew are absolutely THE BEST. For the last 18 years, I've owned a Home Staging Company, so I am quite familiar with recommending and working with contractors. This time, it was for myself as the August 4th tornado blew through our neighborhood and took our roof and gutters with it. In my business, I have referred other contractors to my clients but when I personally needed them, they were so busy, they couldn't be bothered coming out and used a drone program to quote our job. NOT JOHN and he did not know me. He came right out, spent an extraordinary amount of time with my husband and me and answered every question. His timely, professional proposal included details about everything he was going to do and his prices were excellent. Although, as soon as he left, we knew who we were hiring and as the work was completed today, we knew we made the absolute best decision. Our roof and gutters look amazing and they cleaned up so beautifully, it looks like they were never there. John immediately answered every text, call and email and his crew was very qualified, professional and meticulous.
