Customer Service
Digi is not providing the level of customer service to the customer it is servicing. When making phone customer service call to number [protected], the voice on the other side was blurry and the choices seems manipulated to stop customer from accessing its customer service personnel. This is a violation of the consumer right to seek assistance for basic service. Digi as a listed company with long history and big customer base need to find a solution to provide the most basic of service that is to help customer when they are trying to contact the company.

Manager behavior
Today I was in Digi store and I had issue with my refund.
I waited so long to get served, so I went to ask store manager about delay, she was very aggressive and when I asked her I want to write complain, she told me "you can't write any complain"
It was very bad experience.
After that I can't stay with Digi anymore.
Delay in Shipment/ Complete Ignorance from Digi Helpline
3 weeks delay on delivery.
My calls to helpline was ignored, no updates nor resolution till date.
My last call to Digi on 3 July- was told that item was shipped out via mmag on 30 June. I asked for tracking ID and was told that it will be sent via SMS but nothing came.
I manage to find the tracking ID using my order ID. Status under LineClear Express shows 'Order Placed' unchanged since 30 June 2021. My Order ID: [protected]. Tracking ID as attached below.
Dissapointed with such poor service delivery and customer service.
Desired outcome: Arrange for self collection at my nearby store immediately

I opened this app to check my data balance. Without doing anything else, I was charged for topping up 30 GB of data when I still had 35GB left . Also I have never exhausted my quota. Worse still the rectification process was arduous and faulty. It shows up Digi's incompetence. A second complaint had to be filed. No response yet.
Desired outcome: Please cancel the charge.
DIGI fake coverage
tiada line di kolej kediaman unimap, simpang empat perlis, , sebagai students kita tak dapat belajar kerana tiada line digi seperti internet access, dan digi coverage show ada signal or coverage di situ, tetapi memang tidak ada!
Customer Service Work Responsibility
Complaint on staffs are non work self responsibility, expertise and follow up customer problem. My initial phone line is from Digi, later I transfer my line to maxis. However my current phone line at maxis is terminated on 9 Sep 2020 due to the expiration after 3 months, thus maxis informed me the line will return back to digi after the 14 days from the date expired which is around 22 Sep 2020. For safety purpose, on 16 Sep I visited to digi store at Setapak Central mall managed to talk to one of the male indian staff there which I have failed to take down the staff name said will help to me to email to HQ to request the phone line and it needs to take about 5 working days to reply. I waiting until 22 Sep, I no get feedback or call from the staff, on 23 Sep I decided to visit the store again and a different staff told me that the line is not available and inform it may available may be after 1 or 2 months and will send email to HQ for the checking. I accepted they advice but I still keep follow up by myself. Until 28 Sep and 30 Sep, I visiting the store again to get the status update. A different staffs which this time I get the staff name and informed me will submit my request to HQ and it needs 3 working days. Until beginning of Oct, I visiting and keep visiting the store to know the status, non of the staff is able to give me advice, helpful, manage my issue or problem handling as different staff is advising a different answering. Outstanding deposit refund.
1. I signed a contract with the above telco for the provision of post paid service and a mobile device. This contract came to an end but the above institution failed to seek my consent to continue or change the plan (obviously since the post paid plan will lead to me paying more). This went on for several months till I queried one of their online agents and took the necessary steps to terminate the post paid plan.
2. At the point of termination (17-Jun-20), the customer service agent made it clear I had a bill outstanding and hence insisted I had to pay before the change to prepaid plan can be done. Having no choice, I settled the bill presented to me by the agent and the change was done.
3. At the same time, I requested for the refund of my deposit which I made to the telco at the onset of the post-paid plan. The response from the customer service agent was that this will take two months for processing before the check will be mailed to me. The time is to allow for clearing of any outstanding, etc.
4, Subsequent to the change of plan from post-paid to pre-paid, the telco has not sent me any bill what so ever but continues to claim there is an outstanding bill.
5. Till date, the telco has still not refunded my deposit. Its collections team keep bugging me with an outstanding bill (RM169.60) which I asked them to offset from the deposit (RM500)
I need DiGi to refund me the balance of my deposit after they have offset their claimed outstanding bill.
It's been more than 2.79 years since I raised above complaint and there has been no resolution. Do customers who petition the Complain Board stand a chance of getting a fair treatment? Or it always goes the way of Big Companies (in this case "Big Telco")?
Switching to a different telco
I got the SMS Validation request and replied yes to it. Then they called to try and persuade me to not switch to a different telco. A couple of hours after that my request to switch is rejected because they said that one or more phone lines did not reply to the SMS. I don't have any other phone lines connected to the number I'm trying to switch. WTH?

DIGI issued cheque for refund. Error found and the bank rejected the payment. Digi informed will remit the refund into banking account.
This happened in 2019.
Digi billing department been fooling me around since 2019 that they will remit the refund to my bank banking account but it never happen, despite many customer service officers have been helping, the billing and finance department who held my money still holding the fund right now.
Barring of phone unable to pay bills
I have been in the US during the pandemic and could not return to Malaysia. My phone got barred and I could not get any cell service. Not having cell service does not allow me to pay bills as I need to get a TAC from banking institutions to verify the payment. The ONLY way to get cell service temporarily unbarred is one of 2 ways.
1- Call Digi with our Digi phone, which I could not since I had no phone service.
2- Use MyDigi App on your phone, which requires a TAC to register. So I could not get a TAC since the phone was BARRED.
They have NO web based option to get the phone unbarred.
This is all due to a late payment of RM 156.88.
So they ask me to ask a "friend"to make the payment for me.
This is their solution! Completely inadequate and unacceptable.
After over 8 years as a loyal customer I will drop this company.
I totally agree with the comments above! Super disappointed with digi at this moment. Same as Singapore airline!

Hi, I did renew my contract with Iphone 11 under 365 Phone freedom. I do not have credit card so I paid 12 month device upfront payment. And now when I checked my bill, the upfront Payment that I paid, you deduct for my device bill and monthly bills as well.. What the hell.. u do not doing what u have promised..and the worst customer service ever.. Keep on giving Wrong info again and again. Same goes to Manager too.. Your digi centre and call centre useless and not helpful at all.. Keep on push here and push there. Wake up guys..

I am currently a Digi prepaid simcard user. I had recently bought Digi simcards and couriered them to my aunt and uncle. They contacted me through MAXIS network, telling me that Digi network is HOPELESS where they are staying. They nearly bursted into tears that I had wasted my money getting them Digi simcards. I had wanted to get free calls that we may contact each other more frequently.
Outrageously enough, they said "there is no signal and no network at Kampong Poh, Bidor, Perak, Malaysia. "
I then checked online and saw that it is true! Please get your team to sort this out ASAP . I hope Digi is not self inflated!
poor service
I have requested to change to other service provider due to poor service from Digi since 1 Dec 2019. Till now Digi never release. I called customer service on 2nd and 3rd Dec . On 3rd Dec customer service personnal blame Cust never never reply sms. But actually i never received any any sms except sms for rejection. Digi really giving headache. I seriously prefer to quick from Digi. Thank you for poor service
