Customer service or lack thereof
On June 24, I ordered a moped from this company. A Legend 50cc, I am disabled and my sister has my finances so after speaking with one of the representative at Import I called her and had her place the order. Part of the ordering process was the free shipping which was a big part of why I chose them. I received an ail from them stating the order was placed. Approximately 10 business days later I called them to check on the order and was then informed that since my sister lives in California and me in Florida that she needed to fill out paperwork. I called her and she called them and how everything straightened out. About another 10 days later I called again and was told that the moped I was looking at was a 2015 and that the ring may be bad and he suggested another, saying he would call me back. I never received a call, the next day and Monday I tried calling and got no answer. So I left a message, my sister tried calling and they suggested a different moped altogether. I have just decided to cancel the order being as they are to be a scam outfit
I wish I had checked here before I ordered and hopefully can save someone from the crap I've been through

Impossible to reach. No response to e-mails and calls go to a full inbox. Ordered 10 days ago with no update to my order status. Called over a week long period and sent several e-mails. 1. We never received a payment from this customer to have deprived him, defrauded, or deceived him of anything.
2. The manufacture we order this model from has had difficulty filling orders for children ATV'S therefore, we have not been able to acquire the model to fill any orders.
3. We do not capture or accept payment without knowing we have a particular model in stock! There is only an authorization done and within 2- 5 business days the computer at the bank or credit card processor will automatically drop the authorization and the customer's funds will be released back to their account.
4. We advise the customer that the item is not in stock and the authorization will drop off in 2 to 5 business days as all companies should.
5. The customer is offered to cancel the order immediately or place it in back order, and told their funds will be returned to their account in 2-5 days.
6. Mr T, we (countyimports) again apologize that we could not fill your order for your beloved grandchildren.
I believe in county imports I will be ordering a scooter from these people soon can't wait to receive it 😁
Scooter purchase gone bad
On April 15th 2021 I purchased a scooter by County Imports. Place a transaction receipt. On May 3rd I received an email from County Imports. I
mistakenly thought it was telling me my scooter has shipped. A few days later I realized that the email was just explaining the process. I went to My account find out where my purchase was in process. My account showed nothing. I did not say I had purchased anything. On May 6th I sent a email and fax County Imports asking for an update. Their answering machine was full so I could not leave a message. That day I received a phone call from Wayne in the sales department. He stated I found the situation call me back in about 1 hour. I never heard back from him. That night I sent another email asking for somebody to respond. No one has responded my emails. Today I went to look at my account And the website dated not have a listing for my email or password. So, I do not know if my order I even in process. I have been anxiously awaiting a scooter.
Desired outcome: I would like my order completed and my scooter here as soon as possible.

Sorry that we are driven to defend ourselves this aggressively, but for those that know what they are looking at you can plainly see that the transaction (below) expired because corrections to a mitch matched zip code were not made in time to complete the transaction. The bank's computer did an authorization on the card
only, giving us and the customer 5 days to correct the zip code before the transaction automatically expired, and in this case, it clearly shows it expired. If we did not honor our part of the transaction by delivering what this individual ordered her bank would have rightly returned her funds. This is a clear attempt to defraud us and defame us at the same time.If you are a business beware of these tactics to defraud your company of income or/and merchandise.

This complaint board really should look closer at people that complain on these boards, we never charged, billed, or collected any funds from this customer for anything on countyimports.com. When a customer has a high fraud score, as this customer does, we reserve the right to refuse to do business with them.
We need to address the shortage of inventory on our website since it has become a common complaint that we advertise stock that we do not have. Beginning in the year 2020 through today, manufacturers have experienced shortages for steel and other metals needed for parts that comprise many of the models/vehicles they supply to dealers. Co-vid has also reaped havoc on many manufactures of EFI engines, transmissions, etc. A plurality of the brand-name companies are experiencing the same shortages we have. From producers of perishable commodities to non-perishable goods across the board, markets are being negatively impacted because of the factors mentioned above. We, as a business and the public at large, have felt the pain at the gas pump and the grocery stores.
These problems were not anticipated or managed well by the industry or the bodies that govern them.
Therefore, in these uncertain times, we are experiencing a demand from the public that we simply cannot fulfill. We apologize for that.
ATV
I wired $1, 399 to County Imports for purchase of an ATV October 14th, 2020. I received confirmation of receipt of funds an an order ID. Order ID 69417. No other information received. I contacted the owner a fedw days after and was told that he did not have this particular item in stock but would have it in stock sometime in November. Since that call I have called and email the office many, many times with absolutely no response. I have tried to recall the wire and this was rejected by the owner stating that they would issue refund by other means. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my 11 year old daughter who cried when I told her what has happened. Still as of this date 5/26/20 no response...
Also this trike has a wobble front wheel that is very dangerous to ride.
I will be taking proper action to receive what I paid for.
I paid $3, 000 for a cyclone trike and I received a $ 2, 000 q6 trike with a bent front wheel.
I know there is delays because of flu problem but your company never responded to any of my requests.
Dune buggy
I purchased a dune buggy from county imports online and spoke with Wayne the sales rep alot throughout the process the first dune buggy I recieved was totally destroyed in the package as well as the dune buggy itself I refused the delivery and sent it back then finally 3 weeks later I recieved another one as I paid the extra insurance on it for the shipping protection which should have been included anyways due to all their guarantees so my husband and father spent all night putting it together for my 8 year olds birthday As to come to realize not only was it the wrong dune buggy but it wasnt even one on their website when I contacted Wayne about it he only explained it was basically the same then I sent him pictures of the differences the one I recieved sold for $2100 the one I purchased sold for $2699 big difference and as well as the one I recieved only went 30mph as to the one I purchased went 52mph as well as the one I recieved has the Tao Tao motor as the one I purchased had the Honda clone motor he told me basically I was stuck with it due to the buyers agreement which states if they do not have the one I purchased in stock they would send me an email letting me know as well as offering me to either exceptone similar of equal or more value or I could pay a 5% restocking fee and cancel my order they failed to do any of that I never knew not only did I recieve one from powersportsmax website of lesser value and features but I also was unaware of it I've contacted an attorney to get it fixed but not sure how that is going to play out my truth to this is do not purchase anything online like this you will not be happy and only get screwed over now no one will talk to me or answer my text I have my reciept all the text and emails to prove all this is true please help me fix this here's the difference as you can see alot as well as I never recieved the free gifts with the cheaper one I also have text and emails and a reciept to prove all this.. i have contacted an attorney so hopefully they will learn they can't do this to people legally
No one ever fixed my problem even the difference in the price I never received it back either I ordered a nice dunebuggy with a Honda clone motor which is the only reason after months of researching them I chose the one I did as I have presented pictures in my last report to you all the dune buggy I received is a horrible purchase it to this day only has 9 hrs of riding time it has had more problems than I would've expected after paying that kind of money for basically a souped up go cart the tires are no good I've replaced the ignition several times as well as now have rigged up a push start button because none of the ignition I ordered last as well as I have replaced the battery the floor is not the diamond plate heavy duty which is why I ordered the one I did the one I received was not only 500 or so cheaper it is also cheap all around it had the Tao Tao motor which I did not purchase it has the black painted which is now rusting where as the heavy duty diamond plate would not have and the tires are wore out with only 9 hrs of riding time the chrome wheels are not chrome they are changing colors as well as the headlights and the one I received I have kept it in the shed we built just for this purchase but after I realized I got the wrong one I immediately contacted them they told me they sent the next one close to it and they were required to give me the option to either pay a 10% restocking fee or cancel the order completely I never received an email on any of this they did not do their job and we have had to pay majorly for it I have not ordered from them since and have told my friends and family not to as well because you do not get what you want or pay for they send you want they want and will not fix it for their mistakes and for the customer not being satisfied which plays a big role on how well a company succeeds throughout life I am not happy with my purchase and I tried to get it fixed before it was ever drove nothing works on it and even with only 9 hrs of drive time the digital stuff doesn't work either so you don't know how fast your going it won't stay started the fuel doesn't go through like it's supposed to so if we decide to go ride we have to worry about being stuff for awhile until my dad comes to get us this has been a total waste of 2800 and a disaster as to the intentions I had when I decided to purchase my 8 yr old a nice toy he has not got to enjoy it and his papa works on it more than he gets to drive it nothing held up I did not get my money's worth nor did I get a refund for the price difference the one they sent me was 2100 the one I paid for was 2800 I also never received the Goggles and gloves which comes free with the one they sent me I also had a long wait time because the first one they sent me I did not except because it had broke parts bent fenders bent frame etc and the fender has broken off on the one we received because it was only held on by a small weld it is junk I do not recommend purchasing anything from this company ever it is a scam and you do not get what you ordered and paid for you get what "they have in stock" with no warning or options available I was so broken hearted I even tried to get a lawyer which would've cost more but I gave up and this go cart has been a horrible purchase as well as a piece of junk piece by piece falls apart and the motor is junk as well as the way it's built nothing has been good about my purchase I'm not a satisfied customer and would not ever make the mistake again they lost money from us because we do purchase toys as we have kids that enjoy our country living
We are sorry for your inconvenience, but as you may know, we are not the shipping company. When a shipment is assigned to a shipping company, the driver must sign the bill of laden stating that he has verified that vehicle is in new condition. If the vehicle is damaged or appears used the shipping company will reject loading that vehicle.
If the driver loads the shipment, the freight company is responsible for delivering that vehicle in the same new condition before it was loaded onto his truck. All freight companies have this policy in place because they do not want to be responsible for shipping damages that did not happen while in transit and in their possession.
The shipping company in your case honored their policy by replacing the vehicle, and we did our due diligence supporting you until the matter was satisfactorily resolved.

I was sold a lemon scooter and was dealing with Wayne have had nothing but problems with the bike from day one had broken parts on the bike when it arrived and have had it running for only mabee four weeks has been in the shop twice now and the scooter is not working once again I have not been able to get ahold of Wayne for a month and a half his phone just rings and rings doesn't reply to text messages at all I get no responses from any emails I send to anyone I have no communication with anyone really pissed off right now

I was a potential customer, working with Wayne McWilliam for over a month now regarding the purchase of a 2016 Heritage 150 Scooter. As discussed with Wayne AND as what is advertised on your website, the price of this scooter is $1499, which includes the shipping cost, $79 for the tune up (an honored price by Wayne) and $25 for the shipping insurance option. The total cost of the scooter was $1614 to be paid upon the completion of the color swap and pictures provided to me.
I spoke with Travis today, to follow up on the waiting parts and found that they have arrived. He recommended I get back with Wayne to go ahead and start the purchase process, which I did. I called Wayne and suddenly the price is no longer what is on your website and what we discussed. He told me he would have to speak with Travis regarding an extra charge to switch out the color plates AND he was charging me for shipping. I spoke with Travis myself, and he said there would be no charge for the swap of the color plates and as far as the shipping it states what it states on your website which is FREE.
I expressed my dismay to Wayne regarding his lack of ethics and relayed all the previous discussions we've had over the past month and how I have now been waiting all this time for this process to conclude and he decides to pull the old bait and switch on me. Needless to say, I won't be doing business with him. As all the other scooter businesses that work with BMS are willing to offer that price with the shipping being FREE.
His greed got in the way of him making a profit and as a result, he won't make one at all from me. That's what happens to people who get greedy and attempt to take advantage of others.
I hope you realize the uncouth salesman you have representing your business. It should be a great concern to you. I will be writing a personal review about Wayne McWilliam online so that others can be aware of his shady, unethical methods.

I ordered a scooter heritage 2018, and received 2016 that was left over in the warehouse, it was delivered to Fl, there was missing parts not replaced. I never buy even a wheel from this company, they mislead customer, deceive them. I should have take consideration of all customer's bad reviews, as consumers they never lie. i should have returned it and get my money back but i chose to sell it, thought was easy way. Now have knowledge that the alarm doesnt work also the remote control. The buyer has to buy new wheel and some other parts need replaced. Great job, deceiving customers.
We cannot defend against or resolve complaints against us that have no customer Identification, can you please at least give us your order ID?

Your company mislead customer, deceive them with your product. I ordered a Heritage 2018 and received a different one, that was in warehouse since 2016 and sent to me in Fl, and the seller try convince that it was the scooter I ordered, besides that i had lot trouble to follow up with all those missing parts to assemble it. After all that, the paper was not filled out to registration. I just could not stand, put it for sale. Now i got to know that the alarm not working anymore, also the remote control. I wonder how your guys keep customer, with such awful service? You should close the door if not able to provide a reasonable service. Dont advice anyone buy from this company, I trusted when i read bad review what happen was pure headache. Customers never lie.
The reason that we do not charge for shipping is because the shipping is included in the cost of every vehicle unless you live on an island such as the Behamas, Florida keys, Hawaii, Stalen Island, or you live in a rural part of your state where our shippers do not go.
In either of these cases our shipping companies will contact a local freight company in the region where the customer resides to arrange a delivery to the local terminal. When this happens the local freight company will bill our freight company which in turn must pass the cost on to us, but before any billing is done we inform our customer of those additional charges giving them the option to cancel the order, or pick it up at our shippers terminal. BMS is not the owner of our company and cannot dictate any prices to our customers so we can only surmise that there is some confusion as to who is responsible for pricing and company policy set by counyimports.com.
Our sales representatives will attempt to represent our customers and the countyimports interest within the guidelines set forward in our purchasers agreement, therefore salesman represented countyimports and without deception informed this customer about the circumstances concerning his interest in purchasing a vehicle from our company.
Countyimports has been in business for nearly 12 years and have sold thousands of vehicles to satisfied customers from all walks of life and many are retrun customers, but there are some situations that we unfortunately cannot resolve, this is such a case. We never sold to this individual or billed him for anything to do a bait and switch! We only informed him of what his cost would be if he chose to go forward with his order.
Having responded to this complaint we apoligize to this customer for any mis-understandings and would like to hear from him if he needs to further elaborate about his compalaint.
I am from.Romania. I order a bike in 2018 november, make payment throught bank in a cont that Mr. WAYNE confirm transaction, status of my order being complet Today is make 1 year than I wait my bike. Mr Wayne in all this 12 month not replay more than 2 time of all my 45 email and 5 time answer on call phones to say that deliver bike next month. In the rest they not hang up there phones, let a robot and not call back. If anyone from here read this, I will be glad to give me an advice.

I ordered a 50cc Scooter from County Imports in February 2016 and received it one month later but the MCO was missing.
I filled out the MCO form on line on their website but never received anything.
I called back for days, let several messages on their answering machine and sent them a lot of emails and was never able to reach anyone.
All my repeated efforts to obtain this MCO from this company have been ignored.
There website even says call this number for 24 hour assistance: IT’S A LIE.
CONCLUSION: DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY

Do not buy a product from this company! There are plenty of other places out there! They do not call you back or answer emails on orders you place. I you get lucky and get to speak to a person they just complain about how busy they are. I had an item on back order for 6 months and had to beg for communication. Save yourself the hassle and buy it somewhere else, even if more expensive. Just trying to save the rest of you the headache I had, trust me.
Re-Stocking Fee for item not sent
I ordered (2) 3 wheeled trikes from them and they called the next day with a question and left a message. I called back for days and sent emails and was never able to reach anyone. There website even says call this number for 24 hour assistance. Finally the emails I sent I told them if I can't reach a company I don't want to buy anything from them and sent numerous emails. 4 days later I received an email letting me know the order had been cancelled. 2 weeks later I get an email letting me know my order would be shipping soon. I had already purchased from another company and received my trikes. I called my credit card company and we did a 3 way call and he imforms me there will be a restocking fee...how can you charge a restocking fee when the order was cancelled as was out of stock? What a rip off of a company. Buyer beware!

purchased a 150cc heritage scooter from county imports and they were horrible to deal with after the sale. would not return any phone calls and when I did speak to someone they either didn't know anything or just plain lied to me. scooter was damaged. they did not send bill of sale or mco with scooter so I couldn't register it. the girl maria, or what I like to call her Idiot, said to bad they have up to 21 business days to send it to me. I told her I was going to cancel my order and send it back and what a miracle she found it on her desk. Would not recommend this place to do business with.

I had similar problems with County Imports. Scooter took a long longer than they advertise and their service standards are extremely poor. The attraction of the price is not worth the pain and I've only had the scooter for a short while. It leaves a bitter taste owning it. I wish I had known better.
Customer service is nil after sale
I ordered 2 Laguna 50cc Scooters from County Imports in February 2012. One was missing the Front Axle Nut and repeated efforts to obtain one from this company have been ignored. Responses to emails are nil. I'm going to have to obtain one on my own, it's not the money, it's the principle of the matter. If a company won't fix a problem this simple, i want nothing to do with it. The only positive is it wasn't something more serious or costly. Rest assured, they will not get any more of my business.

charged my credit card and never shipped item
Claim that they are backed up and that they are just waiting for the trucks to come pick up orders. They lied and said they could deliver by Christmas. I wonder if I just got scammed. It is now January 2, 2012 County Imports/ Buggy World sent me an email on December 17, 2011 saying:
If your order shows it is "Ready to Ship" (tracking not available yet but is next!)
"Ready to ship" means our staff has completed all the legal verification process required by all Credit Card Companies to prevent fraud and incorrect orders. They have double checked your order for accuracy and are preparing your order for shipping. Below is a detailed process. Then, in the next 1-2 business days your order will be completed by our staff and moved to "Complete"
Is this even a real company? I just wanted to get my kids a nice Christmas present. Oh yeah, It's impossible to get someone there on the phone.

I purchased a scooter from CountyImports.com. on 4/1/2017 and about a week later I decided to cancel my order, since it wasn't shipped yet and Wayne (the salesman/owner} was very nice about it. I called him on Sunday March 9 2017, and he told me he would refund my total and I should have it in my account by no later than Wed. March 12 2017, and it was back in my checking account on March 12th around 10:00pm.
