I do not think Walgreens are fair posted a dishonest claim that you could win $3ooo dollars when you arrive at the web site there a complaints line instead.

lack of help
I was in Walgreens to get a prescription filled from the emergency room at 11.30pm and there was only 1 pharmacist on duty. There were 5 people in line, multiple cars at the drive-up window and the phone was ringing off the hook, this poor man was so frazzled and frustrated, he clearly could use some help, this is how mistakes are made and in apharmacy this could be critical. I think you clearly need at least 2 people of a night. I'm a Nurse and I clearly felt for the man as I've been in that position myself, surely a corporation as big as this could afford 2 people at night. The Pharmacist was very nice and all of us felt sorry for him. The comments about Walgreens I heard while standing in line were not very nice. I watched 4 other people that came to the pharmacy walk away kind of angry. Surely this could be improved!

Seriously, there is only 1 person on duty at that time because it's for the emergency stuff. If you are picking/dropping off everyday meds, don't complain. You are the cause of the backup. Also, the people that ask the dumb questions, seriously, a pharmacist knows alot about drugs, but they aren't a doctor. If you need doctor's advice, go see a doctor.

i went into walgreens located in smyrna, ga. store#5901 being honest upon entering the store i asked a cashier named bj if i needed to leave my leather back pack valued at 300 dollors. my wife bought the lether bag for me on sale for 250 dollors. i had just got off work and i went into the store to pick up a few odd and ends that my wife had meationed to me. my expensive headphones and mp3 player and my bluetooth, mp3 charger.were in my leather bag that was given away to a couple of thieves by another cashier named pedro who is employed were this incident took place. so if you are out shoping and want to visit a wallgreens dont take other bags or stuff you payed for into store cause they will make you leave them up front. and give your bags away while you are shoping. this incident took place 02-15-10.

On the walgreens receipt it says enter our monthly cash sweepstakes this month the prize is $3, 000.00 to enter please go to www.walgreensfeedback.com or call [protected]. Within 72 hours to complete a shorht survey about your visit to this walgreens. Even gives you a survey# mine was (#[protected]-xxx) I will keep the last 3 numbers private and also a password was given a 12 digit number. Its says for contest rules see store or visit WWW.WALGREENSFEEDBACK.COM that is the exact words. Go to that site there is no way to enter a sweepstakes. There is this complaint site which I am complaning on. There are lots of sites there all are advertising something are promising the world. Most the sites if you visit will put an advertising spy on your pc, and you get nothing. I think that walgreens with as much business I give them does not need to stoop like this. I have never had this issue. I've completed the survey every time i've visited a walgreens and i've never had an issue. The site is there. I'm not sure what you're doing wrong. Its www.walgreensfeedback.com. After you complete the survey, you are entered to win the $3000. It's not a seperate sweepstakes if that's what you're saying. In no way is the receipt misleading. I think you were just misinformed.

I would like to take this time to commend the Pharmist's for the great job they do for me. They have really gone out of their way to help me. They always treat me with the utmost curticy and respect. I have had my Doctor perscribe medicine that was not compatable and they would not fill it. They told me it could have made me deathly sick or even killed me if I had taken it to another Pharmacy to have it filled. My Doctor should have caught this, not my drugist. Margaret O'Keeffe

impossible to use visa for online shopping
I shop at several Walgreens averaging at least once a week. I purchased a prepaid Visa to use online, but it the websites would not accept it because it had no expiration date. I attempted to return it to save the $4.95 fee (plus tax) but was told there was nothing they could do. I was referred to a local customer service number, but my call has not been returned.
This $5.00 is significant to me. I go to extreme lengths to save $5.00. Somebody in Walgreens should have the authority and desire to take action for customer satisfaction. A $5.00 gift card to Walgreen's would do nicely.

I work at Walgreens, and this happens all the time. People buy the cards and have some sort of problem every time. Mainly this problem is because the person is stupid; like most of our customers. You're not buying the card from Walgreens, you're buying it from Green Dot. We don't even make any money on the cards. I've even had some idiots come in with the card claiming that it didn't work, and that they even "scratched off the little black strip on the back, and there was no code underneath." How stupid could you possibly be? It's not our fault that you're a dead beat and can't get a free checking account like a normal person.
You're an idiot. Use the card for purchases a store somewhere. It says on their rack that they cannot refund cards. If you want a refund call the company that issues the card.

I have been using Walgreens Pharmacy at 1860 Veterans Memorial Highway, Islandia NY for the past eight months. Over the last three or four months, when I bring in the prescriptions to be filled, the medication is not available. I find myself going to two different pharmacies to get the medication meeded. The medication I am referreing to is Mylan Fentanyl Transdermal System 50 mcg/hr, morphine sulfate cr 15 mg and 30mg. I have spoken to the people at the store, however, I am not seeing any results.
I switched from CVS to Walgreens because they assured me I would not have this problem, (I had the same problem at CVS) but apparently that was untrue - if possible please try to correct this situation.

Ive had a very similar incident with the local Walgreens. They continually do not have the Mylan brand...only Watson gel patches. I find the Watson do not work half as good as Mylan...the adhesive is worthless on Watson. I asked every month if they would/could please order the Mylan...each month I was told they would...and each month I was given the Watson. I reacted to the adhesive in the Watson...and found that it did not dissipate the medicine the way it should.
I eventually switched pharmacies and have had no trouble getting the Mylan brand since. There is NO reason Walgreens cant order the correct brand...especially with a heads up
coupons issue
I went to Walgreens today .I had some manufacturecoupons and some store coupons .None of them were expired .When i gave them to the cashier one of them beeped .The cashier called the manager .The manager was an old lady who was too loud .She looked at my coupons showed some attitude & said ITS SEEMS SHE IS A COUPON QUEEN.
She didn't even know that we can use store coupon with the manufacture one on the same item.I had one huggies manufacture coupon and one huggies walgreen activity book coupon .She said i cannot use both because walgreens is itself a manufacturing company.This didn't make any sense to me.At the same time she said i am still trying to make it work .I said its ok, dont make it a big deal I will pay.But she kept trying to make me feel bad.I don't understand why the Walgreen managers and staff is not coupon friendly .How come she is a manager when she doesn't know the coupon policy.Secondly her attitude made me feel awefull.
I will never gonna go back to this store again.And request the Walgreens corporate to train their staff specially the managers and make the learn the rules and manners please.I don't think there is anything wrong about using coupons.

refusal of service
The Pharmacist in charge today February 6, 2017 at 10:30 am central time, refused sale of "Plan B" contraceptic product with the excuse that it was against her religion. Now as far as i know she is not the walgreens owner therefore should not refuse service. I am very upset because she sent me away to another one close by, but what she did not know was the fact that the next pharmacy did not have any at that time. Now, her actions put not only me but my partner in difficult circumstances and i would like appropriate actions and investigations to take place for not only my sake but many others as well.

When I go to pick up my prescriptions, I have trouble trying to communicate to them that all my prescriptions are covered under workman's comp. They sometimes forget to get authorization thru the carrier and I have to go back later to pick up my prescriptions. When I drop my prescriptions off, I write on it and also tell the person at the window that it is a workman's comp. prescriptions. They get paid very well from my prescriptions. It is a hassle to have to go back and make another pickup. Gas is expensive and it waste my time. I have ask them several times to put it in their computer. If it happens one more time, I will take my business somewhere else.
Do you not own a phone? You can always call the pharmacy before you drive in to pick it up.

I watched Oprah. She said Walgreens would do free glucose testing. I called first to find out which Walgreens near me was doing it. I had to call three of them before finding one 20 miles away that said they were. I ask if I needed an appointment and the person on the phone said no, just walk in. So I left my home for the 20 mile trip and when I got there at 9:45AM, I was informed they only do it from 11AM until 2PM. Well, why didn't the person on the phone tell me this when I ask about an appointment? I could not wait until 11:00. I had to be home by 11:00 because of another commitment, so therefore, I just made a 40 mile round trip for nothing because of an unfair employee who could have told me the hours when I called. How rude!c

employee rudeness
There is an older man with a full head of white hair and a full white beard working in the pharmacy dept. of this store. We tried the drive thru yesterday and the man was nasty and sarcastic to my mother. He got her so aggrivated we had to go into the store to straighten out the drug order. When we went into the pharmacy and my mother said "I am sorry but you are mistaken I do not pay co pays, my medicine is free and has been for the last couple of years" The man said "I didn't say that lady, I said you have a co payment and if you don't want the medicine that is your problem with the insurance company not me" My mother stood there
ready to cry since this man was rude.She told him he needn't be rude to her and he continued to tell my mother who is 77 that she did not know what she was talking about. When she asked for another person to take care of her, he walked away and totally ignored her. I went up to the counter and asked for the manager, well it seems the manager did not admit to being there and I had to take my mom out of the store before this man made here cry more. She was shaking. I advised my mom to use another drug store, but unfortunately she cannot go driving all over town to another walgreens. I would like this man reprimanded or sent to another store where people will appreciate his nasty mouth and lousy attitude.

I went in to have a picture enlarged. The employee was very rude and acted like she didn't want to help me. After I got up from the kiosk to wait for my picture to finish, she said "Didn't your mother ever teach you to push the chair in. I explained I was still waiting for the pictures and thought the pictures came out of the kiosk so I hadn't pushed the chair in. I asked her if she was having a bad day and she said "No, I just like to joke with people especially men." I said it sounded like she had a cough. That might explain her rudeness but she shouldn't come to work if she is going to act that way. I have worked with the public all my life and I believe you shouldn't bring your personal problems to work with you. Everyone has their own set of problems. Thank you for your help in this matter. I don't even want to go in the store any more.
You obviously can't read [censor], she said that she had used the same pharmacy for over 2 years and had never had a copay with the same medication. So it was obviously the fault of the store, which believe it or not does happen from time to time.
You and your mother are the reason why people in the service industry commit suicide, instead of blaming the insurance company about your payment you blame everyone else and you are too lazy and your time is too precious to handle these problems on your own, and you wonder why it takes 3 hours to fill a prescription. I visit this walgreens regulary, overall the employees arenot friendly includind the Male manager last name Havlik i believe, however Cindy who is a manger also is always pleasant, on thursday february 4th, 2010 i entered this store and i asked the person at fron t register to please call someone to unlock the crest white strips..and so she did her name was Dianna, so once i reached the section where the crest white strips were i stood and waited for an employee, employee by the name of Linda showed up but decide to help a white woman instead of me and left me standing by the counter ..i said to her i called for you please unlock the counter so i can get whitesstrips..she replied you will have to just wait very nastily an loud!i'm helping the other person first it was clear she understood the call was for me...see it's the attitude of Linda tha really offended me she was rude unprofessional and not Fair...as she was helping white woman she walked right passed me she could have simply and quickly unlocked the window so i could get the strips and continued to help the elderly woman as i had stood there for at least 4 minutes and waitined I told Linda

The pharmacy has gotten better not reciting my name address and medicine when i go to pick up my medicine...this is a privacy issue...people hearing where you live your name and your medicine so i simply show my I.D. and i have asked them not to verbally annouce my personal business. for the most part they don't however there are few times they still do it. Hippa...does walgreens understand this and should they look at this Law and Apply it in the pharmacy area?

shortage on prescription
My doctors (for the 1st time) prescribed my 60 Kolonapin to take twice a day. I had my orderd filled on Tuesday. THe order seemed fine and i didnt count the #. 3 days later, i took my recommended dose and noticed the pills looked short, so i counted them. I had 26 of 60 left. There is no way that i took 34 pills in two days and no one lives with me and no one has been of over. I took the bottle to the pharmacy and explained the issue but they said it was counted twice and since its a controlled substance, there wasnt anything they cand. I was told that the pharmacy manager would be back on Monday and can try to take it up with her. What can i do know? HELP!

For all the advertising on TV about the great prices and service on prescriptions I had all my scripts transferred. I was treated rudely and nearly didn't leave the bottles for refill. When I went to pick up the filled prescriptions I was horribly upset to discover they charged MORE than anyone else on all but 1 of my medications. No answers or explanation of sky-high prices and rude service. Walgreens lost me as a customer. They can SAVE it.

Yes I use to patronize Walgreens. They are so bent on trying to restructure they lost complete sight of customer service. Although they lost sight of their employees as well. The slogan "Rewire for Growth" is set for "Rewire for Failure". My ENTIRE FAMILY and all FRIENDS have pulled every RX to Osco and CVS. You know we are all happy we did since we are treated nicely, get accurate RX service UNLIKE Walgreen's. Smart Choice to pull away from Walgreens.

As a regular Walgreens' customer I have entered the Cash Sweepstakes in the past, however, I now notice that you have made it difficult (and to this point I might say impossible, ) to sign up on the sweepstakes. Hi my name is Frank, and I would like to complain about the Walgreens Pharmacy in Massena N.Y 13662. There is this guy name John that works at the Pharmacie behind the counter. I was there to drop off a perscription at the drive through, and I guess there is a buzzer that rings off when you go through it. Well I did'nt know that at all, I pulled up to the window to ring the buzzer because it tells you to, so I did.. And this guy name John I don't know his last name because he would not give it to me. He said to me " Yea what do you want " Well any way I droped off the perscription and I came back an hour or so to get it.. And when I pulled up to the window I pushed the buzzer again and he came to the window again, and started yelling at me. Saying that I seen him standing there and everything, and I asked him what his problem was and he kept treating me like crap. I know one thing, I had a massive Heartattact almost 3 years ago now, and he had me shakeing so hard and my chest started to hurt me. I just don't want this kind of stuff to happen again, and would like it if you's could take care of this matter. I Truly Appreciate It.. Thank You..

Every time that I go into Walgreens I to buy something I have to look for an Sales Associate and then when I do see one they would just walk right pass me as if I don't need help and I am a customer that comes in mostly everyday. You would see some Store Associates talking to each other as if they don't have any work to do. One day I went into the store and a manager was ringing me up and a employee came in she said to him"you are late and "ya are going to stop playing with me coming in late " I am going to start writting people up" and as a customer I thought that was very unprofessional, she should not have said that in front of a customer. There are a lot of young managers that work in the store, that I think need some training. They must don't know about Secret Shoppers.

wrongful termination
I had to start taking medication in may of 2009 and company policy is: employees have to fill their RX at Walgreens. I take HIV medication and was having alot of problems adjusting to the meds, had to call in sick a few times- got written up, was asked how I got infected, schedule was changed without warning, told to take vacation days when they over scheduled other techs, and finally got written up jan 2010 and fired because I didn't get manager approval to cover a shift, when I was informed that it was my responsibility to cover my scheduled shifts when I started school... I did what the pharmacy manager told me to do. The day I was fired he didn't even have the balls to be present! He had his flunkie store managers do the dirty work. What really pisses me off is that I thought I was working with professional medical staff and what I really was working with was a bunch of ignorant, racist, judgmental idiots!

Charles Morgan must work for Walgreen's or possible a relative or friend just like he said of course he is going to be defensive and make a good comment. I have read many negative reviews for Walgreen's, I still shop there, but i never have heard anyone ever winning a survey . I think it is a scam in the last few years i have took many of there survey's and friends of mine as well never ever have i ever seen anyone win. And that there is other complaints but, its waist of my typing time they would never be addressed
