have just bought a new prepaid Airtel connection (my complaint no: 5062617476300). I wanted to Deactivate the sms offer so call to airtel customer care on 18th june they toled that sir i forwarded, it will be deactivated on 24th june, after 24th june i call to airtel customer care ask about that sorry sir still it is not resolve ur complaint once again i forwarded it will be deactivated on 26th, onece again same story.. continueing again i call airtel custome care and spok one customer executive Lokesh, he toled me that same story once again im forwaded ur complaint it will be deactivated on 30th june if not deactivated u can spoke with my manager, again i called to customer care and i spok with santhosh.. again he is telling i forwarded ur complaint it will be deactivated on 1st july.. on this way u can see how the airtel customer care responding the people...

Moral of the story: Don't trust Airtel. Don't buy Airtel. If you can't afford Hutch, go without a phone. Hire a messenger to send your messages. Above all, don't call customer care and waste your time. Buy some other card. Even an out-of-state on roam SIM.
