Just received postcard informing me that my "Great Fun membership fee has been increased. This charge will be reflected within your next three billing cycles. To ensure that you enjoy uninterrupted savings and service, we will automatically continue your membership unless you call 1-877-488-9480, toll free. to cancel. Otherwise your new $12.99 membership fee will be automatically billed to your credit or debit card account each month.
If you have questions about your Great Fun membership or how to use it, or do not want it to be renewed, please call us at 1-877-488-9480.

Sincerely,
Ann Clure
Senior Director, Great Fun"

I called the listed number to find out what this was about (never heard of GreatFun) and was told that due to high call volume to call back.

Help! What scam is this????

Here's how to cancel your membership - I just did.

call 800-295-8003. you will have to give your name and billing address - they will look up your member number and provide you with a cancellation number. Good luck. I will be reviewing my credit card statement to make sure these charges do not appear.

I to have recently recieved a white post card telling me That Great Fun privileges will automatically continue For $ 129.99 membership fee & will be billed to my Bank Of America Credit card... I'm not sure even what "Great Fun Is...I've never joined anything...when I called Number on post card & Asked how the got my Info & Credit Card Number That I never joined anything & Don't know what it was about...they said they got it through Bank Of America & Said If I don't want it, to call & cancel by July 9th 09 & they would take it off the card ...I asked What CreditCard they claimed it was it on... & How Did they get my Information, They said again ...they were afilliated with Bank Of America & the what they last 4 didgets of my card was XXXX I told them...I'm not oking any charges on any credit card & I was also callimg Bank of America To See What This Was About...They Connected me to there cancelation Dept & said They Canceled it out & gave me a Cancelation Conf. No# & If Anything shows up on my Stmt. Call them & give Them The Conf. No# & They will take it off.
Since Then I've Csalled Bank Of America & explained the whole thing to them, They couldn't find anything with that Acct. no# on it in my name. They as well think it's a Scam...& Turned my Info Over To there Fraud Dept To Look at. & I Have Alerted my Credit Card Co. & I think The person Who Said Contact Federal Trade Commission Would Be A good thing to do asd well.

I contacted the Attorney gGeneral of Tennessee to stop the charging of my credit card. I have no idea how they got my 411, but it stopped Great Fun. Now I am trying to get my money back. You can contact the TN AG by internet. These scam artists have to be stopped!!!

WOW!!! Shame on me for not noticing the charge of $11.99 each month for the last 22 months. I call to complain and received a 2 months refund and then they gave me an address to send a letter for the rest. I hope I get some of it back... I used Priceline.com and that is where it caught me.

Just saw 2 charges for $16.99 on my visa card. I called the bank and they told me to call and cancel subscription and they will dispute the 8 charges. They passed the call onto the Fraud Dept. They are issuing me new cards. Apparently they charged two charges of $1 and then 6 charges of $16.99 in the past 3 months. Crazy. I had no idea what this was. They said it was when I bought tickets through ticketmaster in November? I didn't even use this credit card for my Radio City tickets. How did they get my information?
