On November 10th, 2024 My son was shot 16 times while stopping at the Charleston, S.C. Circle K convenience store in Meeting St. & Calhoun St. The store clerk did not alert the Emergency Services personnel to assist My son in a timely manner...She(?) was not present when the Authorities finally did show up, and she(?), to My knowledge, has never given a Statement providing her witness account..On My arrival into Charleston the following days I began investigating what happened and I had the opportunity to speak to this female(?) clerk and was surprised that she(?) was even still employed by Circle K and on the job site...There are also a number of other "Issues" I have with that particular store which will be addressed in a forthcoming Wrongful Death Lawsuit filed against Circle K by My Legal Representatives...As of last March, 29th when I visited the Law office of Mickelson/Dalton the Store in question has not addressed the safety, nor the security that could be employed to protect it's Patrons...My suggestion and heartfelt Plea is to ask Circle K to put into use the necessary Technology to give some Peace & Comfort to those who use Circle K's services...Thank You for any response..Sincerely Yours, John A. Francis
