We're pretty sure that if Yext showed up wayyyy more often on ComplaintsBoard and paid more attention to reviews and complaints, it would lead to better results. But for now, the resolution rate doesn't show successful interaction with customers. We advise reviewers to be careful when communicating with Yext and be ready for the chance your problem might not get a response. Yext Great Service

I have used several other products that were supposed to update my company information across the internet. When I started using Yext, you could find listing for my company that had my home address as well as an old office space. I went with yext, and within a week or so, my listing was consistent across the internet. I moved offices a couple months later, and that update took less than an hour to populate all of the directories. I really recommend Yext

Yext Yext Support Team is outstanding!

Not only is Yext a phenomenal marketing tool- their company has a spectacular support team, too! Their response time is lightning-fast and their solutions are well researched and actionable. Austin, Luka, Mia, and Fred (just to name a few) consistently make me look like a rock star to my external and internal clients. Cassi, encouraged me to look at and shared the services that I have received from Yext; but when I said I was choosing to cancel at this time she was very helpful in canceling my membership with a prorate to my account... and an adjustment on the charge at my bank. Yext Outstanding Customer Support

Andrew Lee and Nicholas J. From Yext are amazing! Since deciding to use Yext for my business, I've had nothing but positive experiences with Yext as a company and Andrew and Nicholas as part of their team. I've had a couple of questions since I've started using them and the response I get is immediate and they jump into action trying to figure out the answers to my questions. I'm am nothing short of impressed by the team at Yext and I hope it continues. By far, the best!

Yext The other reviews here must be from people completely

The other reviews here must be from people completely ignorant to how search engines work. Yext's product is unique in that it allows a company to fix all of the incorrect information floating around the internet, enhances the listings, and ensures that the bad information does not return. They didn't cause any of these problems, they developed a software to fix these things. All businesses charge money for use of their product and that's what Yext provides. Their service has been excellent!

Yext Best and most affordable way to manage my business listings online!

As a small business owner i have to find time during the week to manage how my business looks online to my customers, we dont have the type of budget to hire someone in house or even subcontract this task to someone else, but with Yext, we pay a reasonable premium that gets us listed all over the internet and it takes only seconds to make adjustments to my 60+ business listings all over the internet. I'm on my 3rd annual renewal now and look forward to many more years to come with them. Great customer service, not 1 complaint so far during our 3 years with them. I can recommend Yext's service to any business out there looking to get more traffic and exposure online.

Yext Thoroughly Satisfied with YEXT

After working with a client's YEXT account, I became a Certified Yext Partner and now offer it as a new service to my clients. I tried it out for my own site first. It has greatly increased my exposure across respected local business directories and apps that are searched by over 220 million people per month who spend $11 Trillion per year.

It is all about the exposure to potential customers searching for products and services that are local to them. They will search locally online first before they walk in the front door to do business with you. Yext Customer Support

Called to check on my service, and it was perfect timing because I had a couple of questions and things I needed help with anyway. My account manager quickly and easily answered my questions and turned me over to IT support who just as easily fixed another issue I had with my website. I have been extremely impressed with EVERY aspect of Yext from the product itself to the people who represent it. :) You all do an AMAZING job and I am BEYOND THRILLED with your service! Thank you, thank you, thank you... from the bottom of my heart! Yext This company, yext inc, forces a business to pay for

Review update, December 24th 2015...
And a message to Yext employees, and Execs...

YOU'VE SUCCEEDED IN PUTTING ME OUT OF BUSINESS WITH YOUR INCORRECT INFORMATION OF MY WRONG BUSINESS PHONE NUMBER.
(Which still shows as the wrong number, even to this date)

I'm sure you are all happy now, and doing a YEXT happy dance...!

Don't bother to try and 'reach-out' to me, privately, or publicly... because you had the chance to change the wrong information, but refused to, since 2012, without ME PAYING your EXTORTION FEES.

I never put the incorrect phone number of my business on ANY of your partnered web search site listings, but you required a payment from me to remove them.

You should ALL be put out of business too, but by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, as well as JAILED, for your actions.

You posted the wrong info by illegally taking control of listings for my site, then changing the info there, or even simply posted the wrong info again, after I was successful in removing it myself in 2013.

I hope you all die of brain cancer, and your families too...!

This company, YEXT Inc., forces a business to pay for a year of service to remove incorrect information from all their partnered sites. - That's EXTORTION, pure and simple, because the links to fix it go to them, instead of the actual site the incorrect info shows on. - And YEXT doesn't give you control to change the info unless you pay them - They have three links on their partnered sites, for creating, changing, and claiming a website listing. - If you don't PAY for a years worth of their "service" you are NOT allowed to change or remove any of the incorrect info. - I never put anything on any of the sites they partner with, but my incorrect business phone number showed, and I can't remove it, and YEXT says they can't either, unless I buy an account, instead of just asking their "partner site" to remove it free - Their partner, YellowMoxie. Com doesn't want to remove it either, when I asked them. I have an abuse complaint pending, with their ISP providers... I'll next go to the FCC,... The BBB. Org site rates YEXT "C minus"... Not surprising.!...:-)... This is a BAD company, and very unethical... So, it seems, YellowMoxie. Com is too... Stay away...!... Maybe ALL the YEXT partnered sites are as bad too, if they let this happen.

Yext Yext platform

YEXT PLATFORM is one of the most corrupted platforms, they higher agents to work for platform, rate the merchant products, basically buy and resell products for 0.8% commission. In 2-3 days, they start pushing agents with buying products on a single duty platform job up to 35000usdt. They are using major corp names like Uber tagged, EB Football games, Microsoft and many brand names as their items to buy and resell. They hostage my 21588 USDT in their platform. It’s nothing but highway robbery. I report it to local police, and RCMP Canada. I hope they shut them down.

Desired outcome: I request all major corporations to sue YEXT for misusing the brand name corporation names.

Yext Their is no support

I've been with Yext for years and the level of support has become so abysmal. Getting any help to my satisfaction is non-existent. No phone support, which used to exist for Yext "Partners". If this is how they treat their "Partners", good luck getting anywhere with this company when you have a problem.

Regarding request (#1756292) in their system.

Desired outcome: A phone call which I have repeatedly stated in their support ticket, so I can get the answers and support I AM PAYING FOR.

Yext Yext: A Great Product with Unbelievable Support!

We've been using Yext services for a long time now and we must say that we're extremely satisfied with their offerings. Our business has been established for quite some time and was easily recognized on the web. However, we recently moved to a new physical location in an unincorporated city. The address we got was found with several different city names and zip codes. This was a major issue for us as it affected our SERP's and there were all types of issues to maintain our rankings and search.

We were at our wits' end when we decided to contact Yext to discuss our problems. Jess G. and her team worked diligently with us to figure out a fix. They helped us come up with a plan to keep our business listings accurate until we could find a permanent fix. It took over a month but we finally got Google to recognize us with just one address (an extremely difficult task), and the Yext team never gave up on us. Throughout the process, they answered all correspondence in a very timely manner and never made us feel stupid (and I can ask some crazy questions), or that we were being a nuisance.

We must commend Yext for their system which is a tremendous help for businesses. But even more so for the type of customer service reps they employ and the response/help that is given. We highly recommend them to every person we meet who is running a website that needs good solid search results.

Thank you Yext for a Great Product and Unbelievable Support! We appreciate all that you do for us and our business.

Yext Frustrating Experience with Yext and Yahoo: A Review of Change Requests and Customer Support

Yext Beware of Yext's Shady Business Model: A Review of Their Directory and Reputation Management Services

Yext is a company that specializes in directory and reputation management, but what's interesting is that they seem to be hiding online. Their Facebook page doesn't allow reviews and they don't have a Google business listing to screen reviews. However, there are third-party platforms that allow people to voice their opinions and help inform future buyers.

It's important to note that Yext has a strict cancellation policy. If you don't provide written notice 30 days prior to the end of your contract, you'll be automatically renewed for another year with a fee of over $6000 ($3000 bi-yearly). There's no grace period to reverse the charge, so if you forget to set a reminder or renewal emails go to your spam folder, you're out of luck.

Even if you try to request a refund just two days after the renewal, Yext will tell you that you're locked into a new contract according to Article 3.1. This is a shady business model and not a good look for Yext. If you're already signed up with them, it's best to contact them and disable automatic renewals to avoid getting stuck in a cycle of renewing bills and contracts.

My advice is to support a service that makes honest money from people who actually need the service and doesn't take advantage of them. We're looking into Moz Local, which allows you to pay by client listing instead of signing up for a minimum. Don't fall for Yext's tricks and find a better option for your directory and reputation management needs.

Yext Yext Review: More Trouble Than It's Worth - My Frustrating Experience with Business Listings

I recently had an experience with Yext that left me feeling frustrated and confused. It all started when I wanted to get my business listed on Alexa. I quickly learned that in order to do that, I needed to be on Yahoo. And to get on Yahoo, I had to be on Yelp. Enter Yext.

At first, I was hesitant to use Yext because I had heard mixed reviews. But after doing some research, I decided to give it a try. I was shocked to learn that their lowest level listing would cost me at least $500. But I figured it was worth it if it meant getting my business on some of the most coveted sites out there, like "hotfrog" and "citysearch" (even though I had never heard of them before).

When I ran a search of my business with Yext, they showed me all the sites where I wasn't listed or where something was wrong with my listing. But I knew that wasn't true. I had a strong presence on Google, Facebook, and Bing. Yet Yext said I didn't. So, I decided to take the plunge and pay for their services.

Within 24 hours, nearly all of the sites were updated with my information. I was impressed. But about a week later, I went to one of the sites and was prompted to run a search for my business. To my surprise, I wasn't found. Yext said they would scan my listings for me and fix any issues. And that's when I realized I was caught in an endless cycle.

No matter which way I turned, I needed Yext. They were the only ones who could save me. But the truth is, Yext doesn't do squat. Alexa still can't find my business when asked for a local recommendation. And while I appreciate Yext's efforts to get me on some lesser-known sites, the reality is that most people use Google, Bing, Facebook, and Twitter. And my business has been on those sites for years.

In the end, I bid audios to Yext. While their services may be helpful for some businesses, I found them to be more trouble than they were worth.

Yext Yext Review: A Complete Waste of Time and Money - Don't Fall for Their Scam!

I completely agree with all the negative comments about Yext. It's a bunch of garbage that we have to pay to ensure that our information is accurate. Where is the soapbox when we need it?

Firstly, they force you to pay a weekly fee for each site they will correct. Many sites allow you to correct the information yourself for free. Alternatively, you can pose as someone notifying them that the information is incorrect, and it will eventually get fixed anyway. For free!

However, because I posted a complaint, my business line is ringing off the hook from Yext trying to sell their services. There's no customer service representative, and Josh, who I spoke to, was very rude. He was spamming incorrect information to sites, just like the last person. I've been to several sites that take me directly back to Yext, a paid site that supposedly "corrects your data" for a small fortune. What a joke! I strongly advise against using these guys.

Secondly, I agree with one of the posters that they own subsidiaries that link your incorrect data across multiple sites. It's a complete scam.

Lastly, these people are rude when you call them to correct information that, as a business owner, you should be able to do for free. It's your information, and you have every right to have it corrected for free. We should all be very careful when big data SEOs tell us that we need to pay them a monthly fee to watch the "chickens" when they are the fox.

In conclusion, Yext is a complete waste of time and money. Don't fall for their scam and don't use their services.

Yext Yext Review: Boost Your SEO and Online Presence with Ease

We've been using Yext for two of our businesses and we have to say, we're pretty impressed. One of the things we love about Yext is how quickly our listings go live after we pay. It only takes a few days for our information to populate throughout the networked directories and sites.

But the real value of Yext comes from the SEO boost we've seen. We were able to measure a quick SEO boost from the 20% of the links that have SEO value (not all 50 links have SEO value). And let's not forget about the 50 extra websites where they can do some good. Having a strong appearance in searches where you might otherwise have not been outstanding or not visible at all is a game-changer.

Despite having fairly strong websites and SEO presence for both of our first two test businesses, we're finding that the Yext network sites might see as many as 200 related searches per month for our little, local, rural test businesses. It's easy to make an argument, that if actively searching customers are in those directories, we want to have an impressive presence. Yext has lived up to all their promises and answered direct questions directly.

Now, we've read a number of other reviews that accuse Yext of extortion for offering a paid service to correct incorrect data on their "Partner Sites." We have to say, this is incorrect. Yext does not own the "partner sites." It's not extortion to get paid to fix a third party's mistake. Partner sites only means that Yext has an agreement with that site to allow Yext to insert very informative directory listings and to suppress information that Yext customers declare to be wrong.

Yext provides a free service to help you see if important directory listings are missing or incorrect. Then business owners have a choice. Create a profile with each of those websites, manually, one at a time (because they are all separate businesses), or pay for a Yext account to upgrade and correct all of those listings at once.

Overall, we highly recommend Yext. It's a great investment for any business looking to improve their online presence and SEO.

Yext YEXT Review: Stay Far Away from This Fraudulent Company

I gotta say, I never thought I'd be writing a review like this, but here we are.

As someone who runs a business that builds websites and does SEO for other businesses, I thought I was doing right by my clients by partnering with YEXT. Boy, was I wrong.

YEXT is supposed to help get your website listed on all the major search sites so that potential customers can find your business. Sounds great, right? Well, it was all sunshine and rainbows until it came time to renew my partnership with them.

First off, they had some trouble charging my credit card for my partner account. Not a huge deal, but it should have been a warning sign. Then, after my partner account was renewed, they went ahead and charged me for locations that weren't ready to be renewed yet. To the tune of $2999. Keep in mind, my partner account fee was only $199.

That's when things really went downhill. I called them up and asked them to credit back my card for the charges that shouldn't have been made. They told me their system doesn't allow for refunds. As someone who's been in business for 35 years, I knew that was a load of bull. Any business with a merchant account can reverse charges.

I spent hours arguing with three different people at YEXT, and they just wouldn't budge. They told me I needed to maintain my partner account so that my clients' positions in the search engines wouldn't be hurt. I told them I wanted to cancel my partnership, and they said I couldn't because it would turn off all my clients' accounts on their platform.

They refused to admit that I was the customer and that I was right. They should have refunded my money and worked things out with me, but they just wouldn't. I had to submit a dispute through PayPal, and I'm still waiting for a resolution.

My advice? Stay far away from YEXT until they get their act together. I don't know how they can be a public company with so many Better Business Bureau complaints against them. I filed one myself, and the BBB is investigating.

The CEO of this fraudulent business is Howard Lerman, and his cronies are Brian Distelburger and Brent Metz. If you search their names, you'll see plenty of complaints against them.

YEXT took all the money in my bank account without telling me. I woke up $3000 poorer than I was the day before. Shame on you, YEXT. I can only imagine how many other people you're doing this to who don't have the means to fight back.

If YEXT wants to make things right, they can send me my money back and this review can disappear. But until then, I'm warning everyone I know to stay away from this company.

Yext Unethical Practices of Yext Inc.: Extortion Fees, Incorrect Information, and Lack of Control for Businesses

Yext Inc. is a company that has caused me a lot of trouble. They have put me out of business by providing incorrect information about my business phone number. Even to this day, the wrong number is still showing up. I have tried to reach out to them, but they have refused to change the information without me paying their extortion fees. They have even required me to pay to remove the incorrect information that I never put on any of their partnered web search site listings.

It is a shame that Yext Inc. has resorted to such unethical practices. They force businesses to pay for a year of service to remove incorrect information from all their partnered sites. This is pure extortion, and it is not fair to businesses like mine. The links to fix the incorrect information go to Yext Inc. instead of the actual site where the incorrect information shows up.

Yext Inc. does not give businesses control to change the information unless they pay for their service. They have three links on their partnered sites for creating, changing, and claiming a website listing. If a business does not pay for their service, they are not allowed to change or remove any of the incorrect information.

I have an abuse complaint pending with their ISP providers, and I will next go to the FCC and the BBB. It is not surprising that the BBB.org site rates Yext Inc. with a "C minus." I was the very first negative Yext Inc. reviewer, warning people of their actions. Since then, many more people have posted their negative reviews as well. I am happy that I was able to bring their illegal activities out in the open for others to see. At least my business closing because of them had some good outcome by bringing this to the internet for everyone to see what liars they all are.

I hope that Yext Inc. falls off the face of the earth and goes straight to hell. That is where they would all fit in most comfortably. It is funny how a company that claims to help businesses can cause so much harm. I would advise everyone to stay away from Yext Inc. and their partnered sites. They are all bad and very unethical.
