I have been using your product for a little more than a year now, and have very much enjoyed the shows, and movies. I have a streaming account set up. And I was in the middle of a fantastic series, Rupaul's Drag Race Season 4, I had been away for a little, and when I came back the season had been taken down. Hi my name is mike zacharias and my email is mike09j09@gmail.com, so i just literally just opened an account for netflix and it had said 1 month free trial well after i had completed/activated my account i had just got an alert from my bank sayin i was charged $8.79 for netflix, Now i believe that is false advertisement saying you get a 1 month free trial for opening an account then getting charged for it....

I was trying to sign up for Netflix, according to their website it's FREE the first month. I am putting my debit card on there and low and behold it will not process, I called them after waiting 10 mins (time recorded was 3 mins) I got a very smart mouth you male on the line. He informs that they have to "authorize" the card for the monthly fee. I asked him isn't the first month free? He replies that yes but they authorize the card for the following month. I have been a Netflix customer for about 2 years and have finally canceled my membership after receiving 3 damaged discs in a row and one of them was a replacement disc for one I had returned for damage! I would say that about 70% of the time, any disc we get is not watchable! After repeated calls concerning damaged I have given up! It's aggravating to be in the middle of a movie and have it be so pixilated that you can't finish watching it! I have wasted too many evenings with this issue and Netflix does not care! Don't waste your money or your time with Netflix!...

I am here warning you that NETFLIX have movies that are NR- Not Rated and UR- Unrated movies with explicit materials. I have asked management to Rate their movies so parents can have control on what their children watches. They have refused to removed any inappropriate materials off their selections and just told me that there might be questionable materials but will not do anything about their selections. And even though you have blocked your children through a PG-13 control, the children are still able to use the search feature and the inappropriate materials movies title will...

After nearly a decade of great service, Netflix has suddenly added a extra day delay on both incoming and outgoing DVD's. Of course they blamed the PO, but both delays started on the same day! Yea, right. So, now the turn-around cycle is about 5 or 6 days... saves a huge amount of money for Netflix. Has anybody tried Blockbuster??...

Netflix - California - Charges due to Netflix mistake and now they will not pay for my NSF Fee.

I signed up for Netflix and the free trial and I received multiple charges which caused an NSF Fee. Netflix did not give me a free trial because they said my ps3 had been used for Netflix before. That is bs. I have family who have Netflix and watched from my ps3 before but that shouldn't matter because that was their account. Netflix needs to get there shit in order! Now I'm stuck with a NSF fee that Netflix refuses to pay. If only all of us here on Complaints Board could sue Netflix for unauthorized charges....

Netflix - California - Late arrival of DVDs and terrible customer service

Netflix sends me emails stating that I'll get the DVD the next day. The first two movies into my new subscription have both arrived late. On the phone they tell me that the arrival date in the email is actually only an estimate and that the reality is it can take up to three days. In other words it takes them three days to send you a movie from the time you order. The customer service is terrible. They basically did nothing and then asked me if there was anything else they could help me with....

If you have a technical problem with Netflix, save yourself some time and give up. They try to help but are totally incompetent. The sound on Netflix when I ran a streaming video started not matching the action---one person's lips moving while the other's voice was heard. Made it unwatchable. I called customer service three times. Two times very friendly and very ineffective at solving the problem. The third call the rep was rude and the only suggestion she could offer was to call up the manufacturer of my computer. Like it was the computer company's problem! I have a 2-yr old HP...

Netflix - Always have the same movies

We have had Netflix for three or four months now, and as for the picture and the quality of the movies they are working at getting a better picture, and they have been improving their service. my problem seems to be that the DVD service is always holding the same movies, we see no rotation when it comes to the movies for instant watch and DVD’S sometimes our family thinks of a movie and when we request it, it’s on DVD, those movies don’t get any rotation and unless you have the DVD service, we won’t be able to watch the movie.

we have been waiting for movies...

Netflix - Annoyed with previews before movie

So my wife and I get ready for bed, turn on the movie we rented from Netflix and on comes the previews which undoubtedly some consumers enjoy watching. We do not and after realizing we can not fast forward to watch the movie we begin watching regular tv. After 15 minutes of previews we tune back to our DVD to watch the movie we rented. Already qnnoyed, I pressed play and mistakenly pressed eject. Yes- I am waiting 30 minutes to watch my movie. Just give us consumers the CHOICE of watching the previews. After the price increase this is just another reason for us to move on past Netflix.

Apparently Netflix is not all about customer service. Unauthorized charges for Netflix services totaling $47.94 were made against my PayPal account over a 3 month period. First, the fact that 2 different accounts were opened and being charged to the same PayPal account each month did not raise a red flag with Netflix. Next, one of the accounts opened had not even been used. I was told by their customer service that they had investigated and determined that no fraud was committed.

The supervisor I then spoke with informed me that she could do nothing for me and to dispute these charges...

I tried registering for a free trial on 10/1. After filling in all of my information (including credit card info), I received a message stating that I was not eligible for the free trial (I had an account years ago). I did not know that message meant that they were still signing me up and charging my credit card. I wanted the netflix for a trip I was taking. I just got back from my check, catching up on expenses and noticed a monthly charge on my credit card on 10/3, 11/3 and 12/3.

I called for a refund and was told they’ll cancel my account and refund the 12/3 charge, but they...

We are getting a monthly charge on our credit card for $8.55 on the 14th of each month beginning January 2012. We have not authorized anyone to charge account for anything relating to Net Flix.

Be careful dealing with Netflix. Just cancelled after I found out that they charged me double
for 2 years. Even so I have not received any DVD's from them they refused to return my money.
They told me that I had 2 accounts under 2 different email addresses.
