I found out that Netflix has been charging me twice monthly for service. At first I didn't notice because I check for big unusual charges but when I did I called Netflix. They told me they would not reinburse me and wouldn't even offer me a credit for the months they overcharged me! That woul of suffice, but no instead they accused me of opening 2 accounts with one credit card? It's just me and my husband at home why would we do that or why didn't ask?. Then they got my bank on the phone to try to get them to reimburse me, TD Bank thought they were crazy! Customer service was...

You have gotten two of my favorite movies, Repo the Genetic Opera and Nightmare Before Christmas. I was fine with that, I could deal with it and suck it up. But then you got rid of Doctor Who now that's where I was extremely disappointed. I learned to deal with it. But today I went to go watch New Girl and it wasn't there. What's the deal with getting rid of all the good things. I understand you might be needing room for other shows but most of the new stuff you put on is not interesting. The only thing you can make any worse if you got rid of Sherlock. I would really be grateful...

I took a trial online for Netflix on June 14 and I June 20th I email them and cancelled the account. Reason being is their movies are not that recent. Yet they claim they have newer movies. I went through the list and that is not so.
On July 11, they took $8, 53 out of my bank account. I am retired and live on a very tight budget. It cause my bank account to go over, the bank paid them and charged me $34.00.

The service you are paying Netflix for is essentially a movie streaming library that lags behind every few minutes. The audio runs normally but the picture slows down and goes out of sync only to eventually speed up in order to catch up with itself. For me, on a brand new high spec laptop, this genuinely happens every few minutes. This is not good enough from any company. which advertises a service through which you can watch movies, not a service through which you can watch chronic lagging and out of sync movies....

Below is my chat conversation with Netflix customer service (you can only contact them through chat or phone, no email). There is nothing in the FAQ about this being how the subscriptions work (I checked, read, searched and etc before redeeming... just had a bad hunch it was going to be something like this). Just wanted to put this out there. If Netflix is going to do this it should be written and made plan and obvious- not only something the customer learns about after the fact.

Just wanted the fact of this out there, so others were aware if they found themselves facing a similar...

I am soooo sick of Netflix taking shows off my list of shows to watch, and moving them over to the, "Pay us more for DVD's by mail side". THese people emply "bait and switch" to get you to pay more, as they cannot make money simply being honest can they?

"Bait and Switch" is a horrible tactic, and all it did is make me CANCEL my paid subscription.

If you can not make money offering a DECENT service, with STRAIGHT FORWARD RULES? You dont deserve to BE in business, cant wait to hear you went the way of the dinosaur. It will SERIOUSLY make me wet my pants LAUGHING!!!...

I have been a paying customer of Netflix for almost a year now, the streaming ONLY side of their ill advised business model. I can simply NOT tell you how many damn times a movie in my list of shows I want to watch, ...which is listed as "availible" suddenly changes to "UN-availible". I realize these screw-ups need to make money, especially after last years BUNGLED attempt to make EVERYBODY pay DOUBLE what they were paying.
But continuously taking movies the bastards make availible to the "Streaming Customers", ..and telling you all of a sudden with NO warning I might add, ..that NOW YOUR...

on february 11th 2013 i couldnt view netflix because it said i needed to pay my $7.99. i thought this was odd since the last bill was due and aid on the 26th of january. but at 3 am after a hard nights work i went ahead and paid them anyways and was told my new billing date would be the 11th of every month and the company was having trouble with theyre billing system. satisfied that i would be pro rated i left well enough alone. now here we are on the 20th of february (9 days later) and netflix wants another $7.99. when i asked what the problem is i was told rudely by the supervisor johnny that...

We have been a Netflix customer for years and slowly are getting fed up with their quality. We are currently watching the True Blood series and every single DVD we've received either 1) comes cracked in half 2) will NOT play in our DVD player 3) when viewing on our computer will continue to skip over "damaged area". It is absolutely ridiculous to pay for a service to just continually feel frustration. GET BETTER QUALITY CONTROL ON THE DVDS YOU SHIP OUT....

Netflix - North Carolina - lured into &another free trial& then billed

I was lured into "another free trial" for previous members by an email directly from Netflix. I clicked & signed up & was immediately billed on my credit card. When I called Netflix to notify them that I'm billed though I signed up through this email, they stated they only offer the free trials for people who've not had the service for over a year - when I told them this is stated nowhere on their email lure & I read the whole small print, the customer service rep became snappy and unpleasant. This company must be penalized for these scams....

Hi my name is mike zacharias and my email is mike09j09@gmail.com, so i just literally just opened an account for netflix and it had said 1 month free trial well after i had completed/activated my account i had just got an alert from my bank sayin i was charged $8.79 for netflix, Now i believe that is false advertisement saying you get a 1 month free trial for opening an account then getting charged for it....

I was trying to sign up for Netflix, according to their website it's FREE the first month. I am putting my debit card on there and low and behold it will not process, I called them after waiting 10 mins (time recorded was 3 mins) I got a very smart mouth you male on the line. He informs that they have to "authorize" the card for the monthly fee. I asked him isn't the first month free? He replies that yes but they authorize the card for the following month. Now that is not what is advertised nor do I want my card authorized for anything at that point! He then tells me it's in the terms...

I have been a Netflix customer for about 2 years and have finally canceled my membership after receiving 3 damaged discs in a row and one of them was a replacement disc for one I had returned for damage! I would say that about 70% of the time, any disc we get is not watchable! After repeated calls concerning damaged I have given up! It's aggravating to be in the middle of a movie and have it be so pixilated that you can't finish watching it! I have wasted too many evenings with this issue and Netflix does not care! Don't waste your money or your time with Netflix!...
