Just Answer - charged twice during free 7 day trial

I was offered a 7 day free trial by Just Answer. Within minutes I was charged twice. I was charged $5 and then $14. NO FREE TRIAL. I contacted them and have not received my money back or a response. Beware....

I emailed Just Answer for help with a Legal enquiry. I was not able to access any answers sent to me due to problems with their computer system. I emailed their Technical department and after follow all of their instructions I was still not able to gain access to information.

On the 28/7/2015 my bank account was debited $78.28. My account was then debited with the amount of $97.85 on the 4/8/2015.

I request that the monies be refunded as I never received any of the requested information.

What a waste of money for NO information.

I tried to ask a veterinarian question. Before they will answer your question, you have to provide your name, email, credit card information, answer questions about whether or not you want to enroll in a monthly unlimited questions program for a month to month fee or just ask a question for a one time fee, etc. I got everything entered, asked my question, and was left on the hook for 2 hours. After 2 hours, they took a $5.00 deposit and closed my question with no answer. My question had to do with my dogs getting into some food that could be potential toxic. After 2 hours, does it really matter?...

I gave Just Answer my credoit card number which they were to charge if I was satisfied
with the answer from their "mechanic". The answer came the next day. It was, "Here is the answer to your question..." And that's all there was. There was no answer. I emailed them back and their reply was, "Yes it is just read it." I had my nephew who I a computer expert look at it and he said there was no more to the email than"Here is the answer to your question..." It was then I realized this must be a scam. They had charged my credit card $5.00 and $17.00. I called the credit card company and disputed...

Several years ago I used the Justanswer facility to solve a problem with my printer.The answer i received was incorrect, the printer was defective and was replaced by the dealer. I was charged $56 for this service but I recently discovered that $56 has been taken from my account every month.
I should like to cancel this procedure immediately and if possible receive a refund as I did not authorise a continuing withdrawal.
I am 93 years of age and a disabled pensioner. I shall be entering a nursing home soon and would like a resolution of this problem.

Just Answer Experts website is a dangerous site. They say they will charge you $5.00 when you ask a question and then $54 when you are satisfied with the answer. The truth is …When you ask a question, the expert asks you for more information, if you answer they charge you $54 without giving you an answer, satisfied or not. False advertising. i paid for one answer and the company automatically adds me to their unlimited subscription plan without my authorization, and within two days I am charged twice Iin the amount of $39.99 for services not rendered. This stuff has got to stop. Where is the government when it comes to regulating and policing these unscrupulous companies hell bent on stealing your money and providing no phone information for which to contact to address the matter. I only asked them one question. Thought it was just a one of payment but they have taken over £40out of my account each month. stupid of me to give my details. Have tried to contact them but very difficult. Funny my question to them was unauthorised funds being taken from my accout. Just as they are doing. I went on the Just Answer lawyers website in July 2011 after a charge of $36.00 billed to my credit card i received a satisfactory answer to my question, however they continued to debit $36.00 each month there after, something they had no authority to do and I had asked no further questions of them. I am trying to get a refund from them but really don't think I will have much luck they are internet rip off merchants...Oh but their offices in San Francisco look amazing from what I could see on their web site internet fraud has paid off well for them....

I used this service once only approximately 3 months ago and just the other day I received a UNAUTHORISED TRANSACTION from account 1800679634 JustAnswer *Advice. this was for a charge of $36 and was definitely NOT authorised in any way.
My bank has been informed and a fraud complaint has been filed.
I have tried on several occasion to contact this company to get my refund and I keep getting no where. There is NO contact number for this country and I wouldn't be surprised if the number on the site is fake. When trying to email them the website just keeps going in circles and...

A little while ago, a charge showed up on my account from this company Just Answer. I don’t know who they are or how on earth they got my credit card number. I never authorized this. It was only a $15 charge, but they could keep charging me for who knows what and if they do these charges could really start adding up. I may have to cancel my credit card.

I once did a “Just Ask” thing for my dog, but for that I used a completely different credit card. That charge was also $15 dollars, but I did authorize this payment and it was paid months ago.

In March I asked a question on Just Answer but was not happy with the response and had my $69 refunded. The company has since taken a monthly payment of $69 debiting my credit card. I have asked that a total of $276 be refunded and the direct debits stop. I have previously asked that the direct debits stop and the funds be refunded but heard nothing. I have sent another request today. I have been very ill and had quite alot of surgery in the past months which is why I haven't been able to keep on top of this situation.

I asked a question regarding a problem with my TV, for which I received a helpful answer, and so i was happy to pay the approx AU$ 22 fee. I am not happy to keep paying that fee every month however, even though I only used the service on one occasion last December. I visited this site on 20/06/11 asking for help with finding parts for samsung camcorder, I had stated that I had used ebay without success. a 100% guarantee was given and i was advised that if i was not happy with the answer i would not have to pay. I eventually got an answer providing me with a link to ebay. I was not happy with that answer but the next day there was a $36 debit from my credit card. I cannot contact this company to ask for a refund.

Just Answer is Incompetent or Dishonest
I submitted a question to Just Answer on April 30 and received a multitude of assurances that experts were working on my question and I would receive an answer in a few minutes or at most a day or two. Minutes and days passed; I made two inquiries on the website. I have used this service twice. Why I used it more than once is beyond me. It was a mistake.
The first attorney answer was brief and useless, and he did not even answer all my questions. The second time I used this service I had specific question related to a certain state and an attorney in another state answered the question, and, again, did not answer the full content of the question. An attorney specific to that state should have answered the question. I paid by Paypal, gave no tip, wrote a negative review and let it go.

I have some old (1992-1994) Word for Windows files which I put passwords on. (I know the passwords). I now operate Windows 7, with Office 2010 and it will not recover these files. I asked how may I recover them. I was told to deposit $US30, which would be refunded in full if an answer was not forthcoming within one month. That was last January, 2011. Now it is April, 2011. I have had no answer to my problem and no refund has been offered. I fear I have been scammed....
