Great Clips Cottonwood Az Great Clips

Hi I live in Cottonwood Az in our neighborhood news feed a women named Karen posted about her bad experience at Great Clips she stated that she had contacted you and you were going to look into the problem I am here to tell you that the few times that I have been there my cuts were bad the last time ( just a few months ago) the manager ( Martha) cut my hair it was so uneven I returned to have it fixed by someone else the manager came out while I was complaining loudly she never came over to me and asked what the problem was or if she could do anything to help this is not the first time Martha has cut my hair she spends more time looking out the window while cutting and has an attitude of I don't give a [censored] I have heard ( I know it's hear say ) that a few operators there had quit because they were treated badly I will never go back to this salon nor will I ever recommend it to anyone the lower price you charge is not worth the crappy cut and the crappy atmosphere than This manager has been her position way to long and has to go thank you [protected]@aol.com

Recommendation: Don't go

Great Clips Unprofessional work environment.

Dangerous ghetto staff, filled with drama, gossipy and messy.

Unprofessional management team with poor work ethics. Violent staff of young bucks with poor and dangerous work ethics. I wouldn't recommend this place for employment for state licensed professionals. Customers be aware of unethical practices with bad behavior conduct staff, including upper management and owners.

Recommendation: Don't do it!

Saturday 07 012023, time: 11a.m.-11:30, was called in the office by an employee for her to ask me a question, in which turned into an ambush of verbal attacks by 2 managers and a mire employee. I felt my life was endangered, because of the managers allowing an employee to get in my face with verbal attacks, as well as the managers did the same, as well as their voices raised loudly for customers to hear, to the point of 1 customer asking a male stylist what was going on. That male stylist committed deformation against me giving false statements against me.

Because, I was being endangered, I told 1 of the managers that I was leaving because they were making the workplace environment a hostile. The employee that was being verbally abusive, yelled out let her go. I couldn't believe my work environment experience by state licensed professionals. As I left out the back door, so, the customers didn't have to see or witness the hostile situation, the same employee that was verbally abusive, followed me to my car in fight mode, almost striking me in the face. Police was called and a report was filled against the employee that committed attempted assault. The owners didn't care, nor did the area supervisor. It was a set up from the beginning to make my work experience with great clips a desiaster.

It's a shame Great clips franchise/corporate mistreat state licensed professionals but have such a high turnover in employment of state license professionals. Great clips have no respect for state licensed professionals nor do they respect the trade. On earth they may not get justice but when Jesus Christ return, they're subject to hell fire.

They in no fashion won anything but gained a seat in hell with satan.

Great Clips Inappropiate conduct from Manager

would like for you to know about the unacceptable conduct of your manager Fawn. Fawn put my son in a head lock to perform his hair cut. I said to Fawn, what is going on? She replied with a giggle, this is protocol. My son's face & neck was red and his eyes filled with tears. My son said in his own words, I could not breathe and she stinks like a smoke house. My son tells everyone he see about this incident. I am encourage by the parents that we told about his experience, to let corp., know so they can change protocol on how worker handles a child when giving hair cuts to, & not to make light of the situation by giggling or chuckling. I also think working with public your workers should know about proper hygiene and making sure the public does not smell smoke on your clothing.

Recommendation: Do not go to Bonita Grande location in Bonita Spring FLA

Great Clips Discrimination and defamation of character

There is a big difference between how the stylists who are of American descent or American culture compared to those who are not. This Salon is at 1000 Peachtree Industrial Suwanee Georgia.
The owner favors the immgrant stylists over the American ones. If you are a single mother he takes advantage, if you are black he accuses you of stealing and being aggressive, without throrough investigation.. American workers will bring to the attention of unfair practices while the immigrant ones just say nothing. This particular shop has no Americans working there.

Desired outcome: Hire more Americans to be able to communicate effectively with the majority of customers

I made an appointment on Thursday April 10, 2025 around the 2pm hour. The cut was good but I had issues with my sideburns. A woman’s sideburns I believe are different than a man’s sideburns. Great Clips Online waitlist at great clips

Every time you go into a Great Clips, the first thing they say is "did you get on the list online". So for the 1st time, out of frustration, I tried to use their online waitlist system. It was not only horrible, they lost a customer over how bad it was. I got the APP for both my phone and my MAC. So then I find out you can only use it if it is 15 minutes after they open. So I waited until they open and then my local internet provider was working on the lines and my internet went out. So I drove to pick something up and tried to use it from the wireless on my phone at that location. It then says, sorry you cannot use it as we have a 2 hour wait so they disconnected the ability for online waitlisting? I was so fed up, that I deleted the APP on my phone and went to their competitor and walked in with no wait. I came home to see two advertising emails from them with only having the service about 3-4 hours. I unsubscribed and blocked them. I have deleted the phone APP and will be deleting the MAC APP once I finish with this. It feels like this whole APP push from their leadership is about having your contact information to force you into getting a lot of ADs, and most likely your information was sold as well. I will never step into another Great Clips. I would pay triple the amount then to ever use them again. These corporations need to start understanding that people are fed up with their deception and nonsense. I wasted so much time and because of that, their CEO lost a customer. How many others have they lost over this nonsense?

Great Clips Coupon

Had coupon on my email for 9.99 cut . Upon showing Your coupon has arrived ,they said it wasn't sufficient so I ended paying the full price even though the code as on the email and the staff at Turtle Run Crossing store should have know where the code was . All manager said since it was my phone I should know where to find coupon . They should know where code was even though the print was very tiny . I expect a refund or more for this at the very least ,
They definitely did not follow your code for customer satisfaction the I read online . This is very frustrating .

Great Clips Hair cut

9/15/24 11:45am store at 3196 Willow Creek Rd A101, Prescott AZ. Didn't get his name but was the only male working there. I asked for a one on the sides and back and to blend in the top. He buzzed my entire head a one, by the time I stopped him he had to buzz my entire head. Now I look like a bald man. This guy does not listen and shouldn't be cutting hair. I will never go back to Great clips again and my friends will see what was done and I will tell them what happened.

Claimed loss: I will look like a Cancer patient until this grows out. It's embarrassing to me, to be seen like this. I'm going to try wearing a hat for a while

Desired outcome: Please watch who you hire and make sure they listen and can comply with the customers request. Basically, be able to do the job unlike the guy who cut my hair.

It’s incredibly frustrating when a simple haircut request goes wrong, especially when you asked for a specific style and ended up with something entirely different. It’s clear that the stylist didn’t listen to your request, and the result—buzzing your entire head—must have been disappointing. After such an experience, it’s understandable that you won’t return to that Great Clips, and sharing your story with others is a fair way to let them know what happened. Hopefully, the store takes your feedback seriously and improves their service.

Great Clips Hair cut

About six weeks ago I went to Great Clips for my usual hair cut. I have been going there for several years. The lady who cut my hair had no personality. Her english so bad that a conversation was out of the question. I also felt very uncomfortable with the hair cut she was giving me. She seemed very incompetent. Never in my life have I had a hair cut as bad as what she gave me. I looked like I'd been scalped. My hair grows fast so usually every 4 weeks I need a cut. This time I waited 6 weeks. I was actually going to go to a different salon, never to return to Great Clips. Since in past I've had very nice cuts at Great Clips, I decided to give it one more chance. I walked in. Who did I see? The woman that scalped me. I politely walked up to the counter and checked in, as I had done an on line check in. I also requested a particular stylist to do my hair. Well, she didn't check me in nor leave a notation that I wanted a different stylist. Had it not been for another customer, I would of been totally overlooked. The person I'm complaining about is Kim. She shouldn't be working as a stylist. It is very obvious she doesn't know what she is doing.
She works at Great Clips, Belmont Market, Victoria B.C.

Desired outcome: Have this lady retrained or let go.

March 2024 I was let go because I did not charge an add on styling fee of $25 to a child haircut for adding pigtails. I also used a flatiron on a child client while drying a bang trim and hair wash to make the dried bangs lay properly but did not add on a $25 styling fee. Why is ok to add on a hair design to a male haircut for free, if that does not apply to all haircuts? Is this not discrimination?

Great Clips Hair and beard cut March 21, 2024

my husband had his hair and beard cut at the great clips on 03/21/2024 by Alexis on University Drive in Burlington, N.C. went back to show picture of his neck being cut and bleeding when he left the salon. we have been going to this salon for years and this has never happened. we went to complain to the manager and found out Alexis was the manager, and she was not there. found out they were sending her to Kernersville, N.C. she should not be doing this type of work if she is going to cut the customer's neck. i would like a refund.. we signed up on line. my email is: [protected]@yahoo.com. home phone number is [protected]. thank you for your help with this issue. i want to get my hair cut from there and i am scared i will get injured. my name is: Linda Brown

Great Clips Hair cut and beard trim

my husband went to great clips in Burlington, North Carolina today 3/14/2024. we always go to this one on University Dr. in Burlington N.C. he had a new girl doing his hair and beard today and her name is Alexis and his neck got cuts on it and burns on the back of his neck. I had to use Neosporin on them. I think her clippers need to be replaced. Great Clips Hair cut

I have been coming to Great clips for about 6 months and each time that I get my hair cut I'm asked if its ok and for the most part Its ok. I try not to be too picky but when they are done, I get a quick brush off and I'm ushered to the register. I can live with this but maybe you should tell your employees that just cutting the hair is not enough they need to do a better job getting the remaining hair off my collar and neck, I don't need to leave and go home or wherever and continue to brush hair from my neck. I don't know how serious you take this, but we will see.

Great Clips Online check in and staff

If you offer an online service one would think that it is available when the location is open. When I walked in at 1008 am after they had been open for 8mins the women asked me if I had checked in online I responded with well I tired but it’s not available she said “ well it doesn’t let you until we have been open for ten minutes “, why would you ask then? As I sit listening they ask everyone if they have checked in online and when they haven’t they let them know it’s an hour wait so they should just come back later. Seems to me like they don’t want the business. I would like to also know how I have an hour wait but people are checked in online when it doesn’t let you for ten minutes after they open?

Desired outcome: Make your online system available earlier if you want everyone to check in online.

Great Clips Online check in

I did the online check in today. For the Xenia Ohio Great clips. It said my check in was at 4:15. I ended up getting there at 3:55, at 4:10 it said it was my time. I waited for my name to be called. A lady walked In and just walked up to a seat and sat down. They ended up calling 3 names by 4:45 none of them mine, so I left. This is the 3rd time this has happened. What is the point of online check in if they can't keep close to your time.

Claimed loss: Lost time away from my job and hours pay

Desired outcome: I would like them to be more responsible for people's time. Keep the appointment time, or pay more attention to who's on the list

They don't pay any attention to the online check in waited 45 mins past my time, even tho it said I was next by the 3rd person called I left. People just walk in and sit down w no appointments even tho we booked and was there waiting

Great Clips Employee terminated after receiving no training

I worked here after the covid pandemic cause they offered a boot camp training class for stylists that was extra training and continued education when you first joined I did not receive that for the first month all I did was watch videos on an iPad and I did a couple of haircuts on a mannequin but I did not feel adequately trained to give men's haircuts because I was straight out of cosmetology school and we are not barbers, so not feeling comfortable cutting men's hair I was hesitant and cause of that I reached out to my other coworkers for help and was not given the response that I was told by my manager that they would offer help and the day that I was working with my other coworkers without the manager present I had tried multiple attempts and failed to get them to help me by looking at a men's haircut cause I did not want to mess up and continue cutting the gentleman's hair it ended up taking me over 45 minutes just to get another stylist to help me and double check the haircut so that I didn't mess up and send this gentleman out the door with an unfinished haircut or a incorrect haircut as I was told they would assist me and help me but they did not afterwards they told the manager that I was yelling at them and yelling at customers which never occurred and never happened I was quiet and shy about trying to speak up for myself and ask for help cause they were ignoring me
