I'm a high volume user - gold + supposedly... There Customer service is horrible. Because of my status they advertise a special tel # to get you faster service. What you get is the same foreign Operators answering the calls whom can't understand English asking you all your numbers, itinerary, phone email, etc and then they ask to transfer you to Gold +... They you get transferred and YES they ask you all the same info again. 45 minutes trying to use a airline credit, never getting to Supervisors.

No responses to complaint emails.

They lost my business... Save your $$$...

Fast facts:
1. I paid 217 USD in advance, ensuring, 2 nights in an apartment in the August 3 to August 5 for two (02) adults and two children. I decided on this option as the page mentioned that Expedia had free parking and the photos that appeared in the room saw everything spotless and new.
2. After paying when I get confirmation clearly mentioned that no front desk and for check in you have to call and inform in advance the time of arrival so that the charge made in check in respective. I called ahead and reported that arrive at the hotel about 2:00 pm after at least 10 call attempts...

In or about May, 2015 of this year, I planned a trip to and from NY to Chicago for myself and my mother. I paid for the trip over the phone and expedia personnel took my information of my Expedia Account. When I received the itinerary via email, there were things missing, such as my account information, travel itinerary, etc. The Expedia personnel had not input my Expedia mileage points, the correct Expedia account for which I would be credited and the frequent mileage. Some 6 weeks ago my Friend was unable to travel to Las Vegas because of a family bereavement the day before we were due to fly. I immediately contacted Expedia via phone and after half an hour when the operator in India realized she would have to take a protracted time to cancel both Flight and Hotel decided she couldn't hear me stating that she would cut me off. I continually stated that I could hear her stating that I knew what she was doing. She still cut me off. Booked a car and when my son went to get the car at Hertz they did not even have a car, and said that Expedia never checks with them to see if they even had a car. But Expedia right off the bat charged me $88.00 for insurance, when the website sight said no charges until the car is returned. But not so Expedia NOT Hertz charged for the Insurance on a car that did not EXIST, took me two days and 10 phone calls to finally get them to admit I was due a refund. I have had to cancel my husband's flight from the U.K. to P.O.P I understand that it was non refundable but Air Berlin said I should get the taxes back. but no joy. I booked a package deal through Expedia that has turned into a continuous nightmare. To just state the problem at this time is they have yet to REFUND me the cost of the hotel. We arrived to be told after waiting a half hour to check in as no one knew what they were doing to be told the hotel was overbooked and hour went by and they told us they had rooms but would be two buildings apart. I'll never use Expedia again. I was one of their Gold Members and travel often. Yesterday I called Expedia to book The Hotel Monteleone for $204 per night in April. I usually book online but had a $200 Gold Member coupon to redeem and their system wasn't processing it online. I did a booking with expedia for the AI flight to fly to London one day prior to my flight. I received the confirmation but at the time of web check in I find that the booking has not been done with AI. I called the customer helpline and they said they cant do anything and hung up on me. I called the main office in America and waited for 40 mins no one answered. At the end, I had to book another flight. I called Expedia this morning to use my non-refundable credit towards a flight. I get connected to a Cairo Egypt Expedia Representative who books me a flight to Washington DC instead of Washington Seattle. Here is how I found out that this is a mistake. I go into my RBC VISA online and check if I was charged right away after the first phone call. Guess what? AirCanada charges my card right away. An hour later, I get a phone call from the Expedia Representative again asking me for my VISA information. I booked a trip to Cancun back in december 2013 for the family. I purchased The insurance for the trip as well. Speaking recently with an Expedia manager (I'll call her "K") over the phone, I asked her if she could identify ANY benefit of booking with Expedia versus through the airline directly. Her answer tells you everything you need to know about this business: no. So, should you book your flights through Expedia? Well, take K's word for it.

What can you expect from Expedia.com? Bait and switch pricing, incomplete flight...

The day before I was to check in I called the hotel to confirm only to discover that Expedia had cancelled my reservation for no reason, I contacted Expedia, they had no explanation, had me on the phone for over an hour, mostly on hold before they hung up on me. Best Western Puls Inn of Willams(Arizona) charged the amount of $166.84 to my credit card account.
They said I had a guaranteed reservation made through Expedia for 8/5/2013. Reservation number CRS#418500295.
But I didn't make this reservation. I couldn't find any evidence of before mentiond reservation.(email confirmation etc)

I recently changed duty stations to Japan to serve with the Marines. My flight there involved staying overnight in Seattle before flying on to Japan. I reserved a room through Expedia the week prior for this night. Initially, I selected the wrong night on the website. Despite the "no cancellation" policy, I immediately called Expedia to inform them of the booking mistake, and the lady was kind enough to correct the reservation to the correct night (one night earlier).

You have a coupon that was not offered to me, but offered to my wedding party.
