Hi,
Etisalat was giving an offer in Gitex (350 Flexi minutes & 1 GB data) for 100 AED (applicable for 6 months).
The original plan is for 200 AED.
I took this plan on 2nd October. My first bill got generated on 1st Nov (as per customer care) BUT i didn't received any message/e-mail or hard copy of the bill.
Customer Care told me that my bill amount is 196 AED. Now, point that are mentioned below will surprise you:
- I have made 5-6 calls till now starting 1st November and everyone has different views

I got a call from Etisalat to Change my Prepaid connection to Post paid. They offered me a package for monthly AED 300/- & I agreed. In this offer I was supposed to get 400 minutes of free Local calls, 100 minutes of free international calls, 1 preferred number unlimited calls, 50 minutes Flexi calls & 1 GB free data package. I have billing issue with ethisalt and not getting proper response from 101 as well as from business center.

I have changed from pre-paid to to post paid, at the time of changing I have requested for 1GB data plan and flex minutes so fixed charges was 50+50 = 100 AED.


However I have received bill for 750 AED and the data usage charge was 550 AED. when I enquire they said there was no package activated at the time of conversion. But I received SMS for activation of the 1GB, I showed the same SMS they are not ready accept and will not ready listen and resolve...

Etisalat - Migration from pre-paid to post paid

I went to Etisalat - Al Khaleej Center business center to migrate by pre-paid mobile number to post paid, I gave them the required documents. The Lady sitting there told me it will be done on 2 hours. After reaching home the phone services got disconnected. I've made 4 complaints to customer service they said it will take 48 hours. It was a false promise from the business center people.
Now i decided to visit the center again to continue my pre paid services and later change to other subscriber....

etisalat has very poor reliabilty and will always stay the same since they are the only elife providers in UAE
i have requested to shift my elife account since june 15 but till now i have not recived any feedback or follow up despite my frequent complains
i am very disappointed and i refuse to pay for elife charge from june to july as i am not able to get the service till date

Went to MOEmirates to Etisalat to convert my Pre paid phone which was working perfectly fine to a post paid. They did the paperwork and said it will automatically be transferred within an hour. I get home and both my phone had lost the network connection and on calling customer support I am now told it can take upto 36 hours. Thus us ridiculous. How can the largest network cut you off and then take 36 hours to reconnect you and all my calls to customer support said to go and complaint to the person who said it takes one hour. I signed a contract offered to ADEC employees. It included a phone to be paid off along with the contract bills. The iphone 5 was to be sent to me but it never arrived. I do not have the device and I do not use the package but I'm still billed for a service not provided. I went to etisalat head office in Al Ain 3 times to try and solve the problem but nothing was done. I tried to cancel the contract so that I might actually get cell phone service, but those who work at head office keep passing the problem along and ignoring my phone calls.

1. Please register my complaint that Etisalat's 300% offer is unethical, cheats people out of their original balance. Etisalat, being a giant is not expected to resort to scamming their customers.

As per the brochure and the sms received, the bonus amount has a limited validity period and can be used for calls and sms to international destinations only. I have 2 complaints against etisalat, first i received the computerized /recorded call for 1GB internet service from etisalat, when i picked it and heard it a an automated call i cancelled it and then i got a sms saying thank you for selecting the 1 GB service and my 30 dhs were deducted...i lodge a complaint with them and after more than 4 months, it is still under processing.
